After read through the story of Devattada , it really inspire me . Sometime we are really in comfortable zone , we think we are right but never admit we are wrong , keep blaming other to let ourselve felt better ,it is because of our EGO push us to worst situation . We need to admit our fault and soul searching then we can move another level.
We are fortunate we have Tsem Rinpoche guiding us , just like buddha guide the monk’s , Rinpoche will lead us to release of suffering via buddha teaching . If Rinpoche scording us it because he dont want us to repeat same mistake . Just like our parents .
Did this ever cross one mind after reading the above article :- see, even Devadatta whom was so close to the Buddha can made so much of mistakes out from his ego, how about me …. I am just an ordinary human being,in this 21st century world…..so it is normal for me to make mistakes too !!! and I should be forgiven for all me mistakes made 🙂 How nice, if this argument could be true. What is this Ego thing? Do we need to spend any money or find a teacher to acquire this skill? A skill of self defend, may I put it. Why must one give in to Ego instead of the teaching of Dharma? Is it something is not right, in one’s learning curve since day one?
What Rinpoche share about Devadatta is such a knowledgeable article, it speaks clearly of our human mind, motive, ego and desire. For Devadatta as Monk who is a follower of Lord Buddha for decade practicing under him, and being shower with love, care and kindness, yet because of selfish desire and wrong motivation, he create schism among the Sangha to vent his anger at Buddha for not achieving what he wants.
Doing Dharma work or being involve in a Dharma centre is such a meritorious activity, but if one comes to Dharma with wrong motivation just like Devadatta, it is such a hindrance to the growth of Dharma, as when the person motive is not achieve, he or she vents his anger at the Dharma centre, Dhara brother and sister, and even at Guru, besides creating Schism which not only will cause misunderstanding among the public, but worst of all, creating Negative Karma unknowingly for such act.
I believe what Rinpoche shares not only apply in Dharma work, but it also applies in our daily life, in family and in work, what ever we do in Dharma it apply greatly into our life.
Thank You Rinpoche for this Wonderful Article. it helps me to understand how ones mind and motive with wrong motivation can create such anger.
Dear Rinpoche , Thank you very much for the teaching. Here l learn Devadtta is so hungry for power and has a big eg and find No to hard to swallow. Manyppl arclike that.the find that they lose face. So they become very defensive to the extend that they w ant to prove that the decision made was wrong. Buddha is so right and not hand Over to Devadatta. if the responsibilities are not hand over means you arc not good enough. Because of his big ego and vengence He goes to Aciiii hell. He has himself to blame. Last time l take rejection badly but not to the extend of taking revenge. But now lwould say l am not good enough there arc more capable ppl. most important is l dont wwant to go to hell especially Aiihli Hell.
I remember I have seen a great video teaching by Rinpoche talking about EGO. Rinpoche said that ego is when you keep thinking about ME, ME, ME and that is often the cause of unhappiness because when you are self-centered, you put yourself high and above anything else including your feeling. So you start to do irrational things not only to gain physical or material comfort, but psychological too, including respect. Many times, we do not gain respect, we earn the respect and unfortunately people tend to forget that respect is established through persistent work. Blaming others is really the easy way out and respects you gain through this route do not last. Some people do not blame, but instead they avoid facing the problem because they ‘think’ their ego is hurt. Ego can do so much harm and it does not help in any way to solve problem hence we have so many unhappy people out there. I need to constantly remind myself of this too. Thanks Rinpoche for the story of Devadatta, Pastor Yek Yee for highlighting the blog post during the dharma class and the team behind who made great effort in translating this into Mandarin.
Right after finished reading this post, I found that this is happened around us everyday. Whenever the things do not turn out as per expected or being rejected by someone, we are get upset, frustrated, angry and emotional distress. Some of us will be take it positively and will learn from mistakes. However, most of us will take it negatively and blame the others who had disappointed or rejected us. We will always find excuses to deny it and do not admit that we are wrong. Sometime we are too ambitious and will just thinking on ourselves. Like if we do this task and what we will get as a return. We are doing things for specific purpose and not really from our sincere heart. We have to be aware and always remind ourselves that what we are now is due to what we want it to be and not others causing it.
I am appreciated that we have a compassion, kind and great guru who willingly to always guide us at anytime with all sort of different ways. We have to change our ego attitude to humble attitude in order to follow the guru teaching with open heart. Without changing ourselves, we will not able to improve and move further.
Thank you very much to Rinpoche for shaing this post.
Most of us will always think we are always right. No matter what we will not like to admit we could be wrong sometimes. Sometimes we could have wrong view, made the wrong decision, wrong argument. Just because we are ego, we will not want to admit we have done wrong. Subsequently we will get stuck. Sometimes even worst we will get angry and put the blame on others. We will try to find fault on others in order to make ourselves feel better. We will only able to move to next level if we can accept the facts that this is our fault. I think is very important we check, we contemplate, we justify, we accept, we modify, we change, we improve, we move on. Thank you for sharing Rinpoche.

The concept of rebirth has a long association with Buddhism. Rebirth in Buddhism refers to the teaching that the actions of a sentient being lead to a new existence after death, in an endless cycle called saṃsāra. One will begins a new life in a new body that may be human, animal or spiritual depending on the moral quality of the previous life’s actions. What they are reborn as depends on their actions in their previous life rather kamma. As a Buddhist we should believe in rebirth but still many people don’t . Buddha taught us that choices of rebirth make a difference and can shape many lifetimes. Buddhists believe that nothing that exists is permanent and everything will ultimately cease to be. There is a belief in rebirth

Against the odds two inspiring nuns fought all the way to become ordained, fighting for their rights to practice Buddhism . Interesting read of how they went through , bringing equality for women in Thailand. Buddhism is the predominant religion in Thailand. Officially, only men can become monks and novices in Thailand under a Buddhist order. The country does not recognize female monks or novices. In recent years, more Thai Buddhist women seeking to become full-fledged female monks, have been defying the tradition getting ordained overseas, in Sri Lanka or India. Buddhist women have been fighting for years for equality and social acceptance in Thailand. They just can’t be ordained by Thai monks. Ven. Dhammananda, 68 year old former university lecturer and activist became Thailand’s first Theravadin bhikkhuni after going the odds. Inspiring read biography on Ven. Dhammananda and Ven. Dr. Lee. They had gone through great hardships, discrimination and against the many odds in bringing equality to women in Buddhism in Thailand.
Thank you Rinpoche for this great inspiration post.
The unseen things are spiritual realities that are eternal and invisible to our physical eye. There are many forces and phenomena that are not visible to the naked eye. There are many things that humans cannot see yet there are some could see. For what is can be seen is only. Things do exist even we can’t see, believing their existence is our choice. Things that we can’t see in the world opens up a curiosity and exploration by some. Whether through scientific inquiry, or spiritual exploration, the pursuit of knowledge about the unseen can lead to profound insights about ourselves and the universe.
Malacca City is the historic capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in Malaysia serving as a link between east and west for over 500 years. Famous for breath-taking sights with rich heritage, ancient dark culture and history with many old centuries buildings with an interesting past and a colourful ghost story. For that reason alone it is worth visiting as is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site owing to its well-preserved historical center. There’s many historical mansions been passed down generation to generations and with many ghostly sighting by the locals and visitors. There’s the reason many unseen beings loitering and attached to these places. Such an interesting and incredibly creepy watching the video in this blog host by Li Kim. Li Kim had done a great work all along with her team to share with readers about our historic Malacca .
Thank you Rinpoche and Li Kim for this sharing.

Revisit this post again , watching the rare video footage of Dorje Shugden oracles. Awesome ,we are so fortunate to watch this incredible video, where extraordinary footage of Tsem Rinpoche self-arising as the all-powerful Buddha Yamantaka. Its was during Rinpoche’s visit to Tibet in 2009.
Thank you Rinpoche with folded hands.
Vajrayogini symbolizes the wisdom of all enlightened beings and embodies the impulse of inspiration that drives the Buddhas to attain the perfect enlightenment. Vajrayogini is one of the most effective practices for people today. We can make offerings such as gold or jewel offerings and so on. The offering of gold helps us to collect merits, spiritual attainments, gain a deeper connection to Vajrayogini. It also creates the causes to attain a Buddha’s body.
Make Offerings to Vajrayogini in Kechara Forest Retreat at Bentong is such an meritorious way for us to collect merits. All thanks to our Guru having conceptualised the idea of having a statue of Vajrayogini for everyone . Recitation of Vajrayogini mantra can be a powerful tool for self-transformation, healing and liberation from samsara.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing with details explanation .
Thank you, Rinpoche for sharing this insightful article. Life is short, and if we enjoy every moment of every day, then we will be happy no matter what happens or what changes along the way. What ever matter to us at the time of death is nothing. In the end, it’s not the years in our life that count it’s what you leave behind that matters. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again.Death is the golden key that opens the palace of eternity. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. Learning Dharma and practicing dharma is the our choice that’s matter. Some of the key points to take notes, read, study the Lam Rim and apply it, engage in Sadhana daily and consistently. No one will help us at the moment of death but ourselves. Spiritual practicing is the best choice.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.
Well the size of Buddha statues in Tibetan Buddhism is important because it represents the Buddha’s immense ability and vast knowledge. Hence the Buddha statues hold the symbol of satisfaction within, peace and happiness. They are a symbol of inspiration for every human being. When we focus on the Buddha statues, it gives us inner peace that our mind, our heart and our soul gets enlightened.
We have are so fortunate seeing and circumambulating where the 9-foot Dorje Shugden statue and with 500 mantra stones engraved with Dorje Shugden’s sacred mantra. As Rinpoche had said before the bigger and more Buddha statues helps in planting seeds of enlightenment in people’s mind-streams. It also help us to generate as much merit and purify as much karma as possible. Merely by seeing all those big statues at Kechara Forest Retreat is a blessing.
Thank you Rinpoche.
The 4th Tagpu Pemavajra Jampel Tenpai Ngodrub, most commonly known as Tagpu Dorje Chang, was a highly accomplished yogi Highly attained lama who had many authentic visions of the Buddhas and even travel astrally to receive direct teachings from them. His recognised line of incarnations stem all the way back to the 14th Century. He is generally regarded as such amongst Gelug lineage holders. He spent most of his time in a hermitage located above Sera Monastery, gave teachings and transmitted many vital practices and lineages to his foremost student Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche. Besides receiving the complete instructions of Dorje Shugden’s practice, Tagpu Dorje Chang had many other mystical experiences throughout his lifetime. Interesting read biography of a highly accomplished mahasiddha lama.

n Tibetan culture, it is a popular and customary practice for families to invite monks to perform spiritual ceremonies such as Trusol rituals. The monks have had the opportunity to offer such ceremonies for individuals or their families. Such ceremonies purify the elements of the environment which helps those living or visiting there to experience good health, success and well-being. The sacred ritual of ‘bathing’ the Buddhas and consecration through which negativities, sicknesses and obstacles will be cleared. Where by filling those areas with positive energies and good vibes through this Trusol consecration puja. Water is an essential part of this puja and symbolises the cleansing of all negativities and impurities. Through this puja it also pacifies local deities and other unseen beings in the surrounding areas. We are indeed fortunate that Tsem Rinpoche has taught Kecharians this practice and it has benefited many.
Thank you Rinpoche with folded hands
Reading this post had me gain some knowledge of Shifter Werewolves. Any article regarding rare creatures or paranormal articles are of my interest since young. In European folklore, a werewolf is a man who turns into a wolf at night and devours animals, people, or corpses but returns to human form by day. They have the ability to transform from an ordinary human appearance to a partially-lupine form with pointed ears, mutton chops, claws and fangs, and a ridged brow . Wow… werewolf tends to be vicious and unable to control his blood thirst. Their underlying common origin can be traced back to Proto-Indo-European mythology. In many depictions, these bloodthirsty beasts are evil where they kill animals and innocent people. They are humans who transition into wolf-like creatures, after being placed under a curse. In folklore, most werewolves originate from being cursed or bitten by another werewolf. That’s what they do believe. According many enthusiasts, there’s many different type of werewolves such as Alpha wolves, Beta wolves , Deltas, Elders, some survive as loners while others move in packs. How true it is no one knows. I do believe their existing . Many interesting stories related to these wolves in the past history.

Beautiful Dorje Shugden at Malacca. One should pay a visit there, located at a busy tourist place. It was such an auspicious occasion that a grand Puja was held there. Dedicated students and volunteers were there getting the place ready for the grand puja. Well the Grand Dorje Shugden puja was conducted by very own Kechara puja team to commemorate the chapel’s 3rd anniversary. Many people attended the Puja that’s wonderful to receive the powerful Protector Dorje Shugden blessings. More people will make a connection and get to know Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom, in the form of a Dharma Protector. May Dorje Shugden’s practice flourish to benefit those tourists and locals.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.
Venerable Geshe Rabten Rinpoche is a highly realised meditation master known as a debater, scholar, and meditation master, was the first Tibetan Buddhist master to introduce the complete Vinaya-tradition. He had also introduce the study of the five major topics of Buddhism to the West. He became the ‘path breaker’ of the complete and complex teachings of Buddhism in the West. Many masters, who are famous in the West today, were Geshe’s students. enerable Geshe Rabten. Geshe Rabten wrote the beautiful and Manjushri’s prayer called Gangloma and gave a profound explanation. We are so fortunate to learn about this Manjushri’s sacred prayer. May all be blessed by the practice of Lord Manjushri and Geshe Rabten’s explanation.

The begging bowl or alms bowl is one of the simplest but most important objects in the daily lives of Theravada Buddhist monks. The alms bowl still stands as an emblem of how all Buddhas, as numerous as grains of sand in the Ganges, practiced to end their desire. All those who receive the alms bowl should focus their mind to act with self-control and self-respect. Almsgiving is a tradition of Theravada Buddhists, majority in Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Laos. In those early days of Buddhism, monks would take their bowls and go out begging for food. As today in Thailand one could see monks woke up before dawn every morning and carried his bowl through the roads or paths wherever he was staying. Local people would place food in the bowl as a donation, through the generosity of lay people. They accept whatever food is offered for them and eat whatever been given, serve as a blessing for the giver.
One bowl has held the food of a thousand families. A solitary monastic travels on his journey of a hundred thousand miles seeking liberation from the cycle of birth and death.
Thank you H.E. Tsem Rinpoche for explaining the meaning of begging and gave us more reasons to be vegetarian . Create a awareness among us not killing animals to be one.
Ajahn Siripanyo, the son of billionaire Ananda Krishnan, chose to abandon his inheritance and become a Buddhist monk in pursuit of spirituality. A Thai-Malaysian monk born in London and educated in UK. He was ordained in Thailand and lived there, leaving behind a life of immense wealth and privilege. He did surprised many and his choice was unexpected. Initially as a temporary measure, but somehow later evolved into a permanent way of life. Ven. Ajahn Siripanyo is now the Abbot of hermitage Dtao Dam on the Thai-Burmese border in Saiyok National Park, Thailand.
He was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia years back giving an enthralling Dhamma talk on the timeless teachings of Ajahn Chah.

Dear everyone... This is a good condensed talk I gave on Guru Yoga of Tsongkapa. This is the one you should share with others when they are interested in a not too lengthy explanation. It is the perfect practice for everyone who wants simplicity yet effective blessings. You can share this with more people, it will be good.
"If you say you don't have money to help a animal shelter, why then do you have money to buy meat?"
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"Eating animals is not our God-given right, but being kind to them is."
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"What makes us good humans is not how we abuse animals, but how much we allow them to live and be happy freely."
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"We need another and wiser and perhaps a more mythical concept of animals.... We patronize them for their incompleteness, for their tragic fate of having taken form so far below ourselves. And therein we err, and greatly err. For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complex than ours they moved finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren, they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth."
~ Henry Beston, The Outermost House
"Not eating animals is only unnatural when we are not used to it."

SPIRITUAL QUOTES
“Meditating on Dorje Shugden while reciting his mantra will open the gateways to higher dimensions, blessings and protection.”
~ Tsem Rinpoche
“If one does the recitation of the Lama Tsongkhapa guru yoga prayer for even one month using one of the visualizations for great or clear or quick wisdom, one will definitely see development of that wisdom. It is proved by experience. There is no doubt that by doing the Lama Tsongkhapa guru yoga practice one can meet Lama Tsongkhapa’s teachings from life to life. And furthermore, it gives one the opportunity to be born in the pure realm of Lama Tsongkhapa, Tushita, whenever death happens.”
~ Pabongkha Rinpoche
"I was 18 years old in 1983. That was a very special year as I met His Holiness Kyabje Zong Rinpoche and received innumerable precious teachings and empowerments from Him at Thubten Dhargye Ling Centre in Los Angeles, California. It was the best time of my life. A time that seems so magical and surreal to me. Kyabje Zong Rinpoche is Heruka Buddha and I met Heruka."

"Never abandon your spiritual teacher no matter how many inner obstacles you need to overcome."

"Actions to force something to be permanent makes all the karmas arise."
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"The dharma is not easy to listen to… because some people take it as criticism. But Dharma should not be just feel good only for the moment but for deeper contemplations."
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"Whether we do work and suffer but for others or we do work and suffer for ourselves, either way we have to suffer. That is the nature of samsara. So let us suffer for others and then suffering has meaning."
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"Those who really want the dharma to grow within themselves and to grow for others should never fear hard work, timing, difficulties, struggles, disappointments because it is for a good cause. Working for Dharma is not a prison or work, but it is purely spiritual practice. It is purely collection of merit and purification. Actually not doing dharma work is the real prison."
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"His Holiness Zong Rinpoche stressed the need to continue to practice even when we come up against obstacles, and that we should continually review our progress. He stated that a happy, luxurious life was like a good dream, and that obstacles and difficulties were like a bad dream. We should give them no significance, but simply carry on working towards real, everlasting happiness."
~ Ngala ’ö-Dzin Tridral
"Things in samsara always go wrong. That's its nature. Don't be surprised."

"Knowledge never quenches the thirst, only application."
~ Tsem Rinpoche
LIFE QUOTES
"I pity men who occupy themselves exclusively with the transitory in things and lose themselves in the study of what is perishable, since we are here for this very end-that we may make the perishable imperishable, which we can do only after we have learned how to approach both."
~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

"It's amazing how some people have never met me or know who I am, but based on a few things they read here & there & rumours, they have formulated a new personality for me & all the things I've never done they passionately speak about....I find it funny and entertaining now. I guess we can't spend our lives fighting rumours...we just have to work hard & then rumours get proven wrong on it's own as a by product. No point explaining repeatedly. Just do our work & show results!!"
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"There's a difference between patience and laziness. Patience comes from respect while laziness from disrespect of others."
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"Although outwardly we have so much, we have so many conveniences, inwardly we have become more unhappy, so, acquisition is not the secret to happiness. The more we get, the more we have, the more unhappy we become."
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"Before we experience any pain, we already had a fixed view of how things should be. When the experience we encounter contradicts our views, then the pain arises. The pain arises due to our fixed views not so much the experience itself. So the secret is changing the views. Re-educating ourselves on our views."
~ Tsem Rinpoche
"You know since very young, for better or worse, I always did the things that others told me not to do. I wasn't really good at following the rules. Even now with how I share Dharma and my practice, I just do it the way I think it should be done but I do it sincerely. Not what others tell me what I can and can't do."

Devotional Songs
Sung by Mary Fewel Tulin, these mystical songs in praise of the guru originate from the Sikh tradition. Yet, they are applicable to all traditions for those who want to venerate their guru.
The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them.
That's the business model.
How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying...
We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood.

Seema Purohit asked:I have exam on 13 November. It is showing very bad day as per mawa. I am aged 41 and struggling. I failed 3 times. Can u suggest way to turn the tide. I am working hard but luck is never on my side.pastor answered:Dear Seema Purohit,
Thank you for your question. Astrological influences do not necessarily mean that things on that day will go bad. There are methods that we can use to overcome any negative influences and make those days very successful and productive.
First since this has to do with exams, you should be practical about it, make sure that you know the exam material well, make sure that you eat properly before the exams, and make sure that you remain calm before and during the exam. If you know the material well, if you are too nervous then it may cause you issues during the exam.
From the spiritual angle, you can make offerings on your altar before your exam. Actually, it would be good for you to make offerings on your altar daily from now until then, to generate merit so that your exam will be successful. You can also engage in Dorje Shugden's mantra - OM BENZA WIKKI BITANA SOHA. Dorje Shugden a Dharma Protector who helps us to overcome obstacles and be succesful. He is an emanation of Manjushri, who is the Buddha of Wisdom. So, his practice is especially powerful for things to do with study, exams, etc.
You can read more about Dorje Shugden here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/buddhas-dharma/beginners-introduction-to-dorje-shugden.html
Hope this helps. And you have our prayers for success in your exams.

Nelson asked:Tashi Delek Pastors!
I have some questions about some things that may pastors help me understand:
Today, I receive some gifts from a Dharma Friends that four small bags during his visit trips to Tibet:
Tamdrin Dudtsi Mendrup or Hayagriva Holy Nectar Pills from Sera Ngakpa Tretsang.
Mani Rilbu or Mani Blessing Pills from Drashi Gonkhang.
Dorje Shugden Rilbu or Dorje Shugden blessing pills from Sampheling in Tibet.
Kagye Drupchen holy nectar pills from Mindroling Monastery.
What's is different between these three holy pills?
How i should use or supply better these pills for anyone or my self?
What's meanings of these pills and benefits of this?
Thank you so much.pastor answered:Dear Nelson,
You have received some very powerful and blessed holy pills from your friend. In general, all the pills are made from dried crushed herbs and holy items and then consecrated during long pujas, dedicated to a particular deity to imbue them with certain energies. Here is a little bit of information about them:
Tamdrin Dudtsi Mendup - these pills are made from holy nectar and consecrated using the practice of Hayagriva, who is a wrathful emanation of Chenrezig (the Buddha of Compassion). Generally, any blessed item using the practice of Hayagriva is good for protection from spirits and nagas, negative forces or energies, etc. They are also good for healing illness and diseases, especially effective for any type of skin disease. Mendup pills are also specifically made for healing physical illnesses. Sera Ngakpa Dratsang is the tantric college of Sera Monastery in Tibet, where they learn and practice the different types of tantric systems within the Gelug lineage.
Mani Rilbu - these are pills blessed with the energies of Chenrezig using the Mani mantra - OM MANI PEME HUNG. They are great for general healing and well-being and are very potent sources of the compassionate energies of the Buddha. Drashi Gonkhang is a protector chapel dedicated to Drashi Lhamo who is a form of Palden Lhamo. This chapel is affliated with Sera Monasery which is of the Gelug lineage. You can read more about Drashi Lhamo here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/buddhas-dharma/drashi-lhamo-the-protectress-with-the-rolled-out-tongue.html
Dorje Shugden Rilbu - are pills blessed with the energies of Dorje Shugden. They are are excellent for providing protection and swift assistance to overcome worldly and spiritual obstacles. Sampheling Monastery also belongs to the Gelug tradition and the Sangha there are known to be very strong practitioners of Dorje Shugden. It is also considered to be the home monastery of one the most important incarnation lineages within the Gelugpa tradition - the line of Trijang Rinpoches.
Kagye Drupchen holy nectar pills - these are pills made from blessed nectar and consecrated using the Kagye practice, which is a practice incorporating eight different tantric deities. Mindrolling is also one of the most famous Nyingma lineage monasteries. It is one of the six Mother Monasteries of that lineage. I do not know much about the benefits of this rilbu as we practice the Gelug tradition in Kechara, and this practice belongs to the Nyingma tradition. While certain practices are shared in common throughout all traditions, the Gelug lineage does not have this particular practice.
Here is some general advice of what you can do with the pills:
> Insert into Buddha statues and stupas at the appropriate level to increase their blessings and positive potential. It’s said that if one has very good samaya with the guru, the holy rilbus placed in a stupa will miraculously multiply and grow.
> Place a holy rilbu in your water bottle and drink throughout the day for general protection, healing and blessings. The water can be topped up daily until the pill has completely dissolved.
> In times of need, a rilbu can be consumed on its own. Swallow it whole with water, or crush into powder and consume with water.
> Dissolve in bathing water to relieve skin problems and for general protection.
> Place in the mouth of a dying person or animal to help them pass on peacefully.
> Place in the mouth of a deceased person or animal to help them take a better rebirth.
The pills should be store in a cool, dry and respectful place when not using them, otherwise they might go bad depending on the climate where you live.
I hope this helps. Thank you.
Thorim asked:Hello dear Pastors,
Is there a mantra / visualisation specific to help to sleep? I try Bhaiṣajyaguru before going to sleep but it doesn't work for that
Thanks :)pastor answered:Dear Thorim,
Thanks for your question. Getting good sleep is very important. Medicine Buddha mantra is good for this, but should be recited very softly and slowly. Perhaps you are chanting too fast. You can try using it again to sleep, but focus on the sound of the mantra that you are making while you recite. Another mantra you can try is Dorje Shugden's mantra. Many people have tried it when their sleep is disturbed and it helps.
Another thing you can try is breathing meditation or even Nine-Round Breathing before you sleep, you can learn more here: https://www.kechara.com/how-to-practise-nine-round-breathing-meditation/
You can also read and try the methods on this article. Tsem Rinpoche advised this for students who had trouble sleeping as the general advice was very good and people found it really helpful https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/current-affairs/10-sleep-mistakes-and-their-solutions.html
There are tecnhiques and visualisations used during sleep, but those are actually meditational techniques unique to higher tantric practice. They are not specifically for being able to get to sleep or having sound sleep, etc.
I hope this helps.
Tshulthrim yoezer asked:Why did Buddha diedpastor answered:Dear Tshulthrim Yoezer,
Thank you for your question. This is due to the nature of Samsara. Any one who is born will have to die. Anything that comes into existence will one day have to stop existing.
As the Buddha took birth as a human, he need to give up his body and pass away. But because the Buddha was enlightened, this is not the same thing that happens to us. He became enlightened under the Bodhi Tree in Bodhgaya, but he was still in his human body, and so he had to pass away. His passing away is known as the Maha Parinirvana of the Buddha.
I hope this answers your question.

YEO KWAI GIN
After read through the story of Devattada , it really inspire me . Sometime we are really in comfortable zone , we think we are right but never admit we are wrong , keep blaming other to let ourselve felt better ,it is because of our EGO push us to worst situation . We need to admit our fault and soul searching then we can move another level.
We are fortunate we have Tsem Rinpoche guiding us , just like buddha guide the monk’s , Rinpoche will lead us to release of suffering via buddha teaching . If Rinpoche scording us it because he dont want us to repeat same mistake . Just like our parents .
Thank you Rinpoche sharing
Sincerely,
Frederick Law
Thank you very much for the teachings .
