H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche is a recognised Tulku and an ordained monk in the great tradition of Lama Tsongkhapa.
With a Mongolian-Tibetan heritage, a childhood in Taiwan and America, and intensive study and meditation in Gaden Shartse Monastery, Rinpoche is one of the rare, precious teachers with the unique teaching ability to bridge East and West.
Based in South East Asia since 1992, Rinpoche’s teachings are based on logic and universal human values, free of the limitations of dogma, culture and individual background, and have led many to enter the sacred path of study, contemplation and meditation. Great benefit has been predicted for this region, including china, through his Dharma activities.
Renowned for his charitable works such as building schools, hospitals and providing assistance and food to the poor and underprivileged, Rinpoche’s organisation, Kechara, continues to bring benefit to the world through its many initiatives.
Dear friends, Kindness is a quality we all cherish, admire and respect. Kindness in action is even more admirable. Especially if it is towards someone or something you are not even connected with. Pictures really convey powerful messages. Without alot of explanations, pictures are powerful. Tell me, do you agree with this? Is it painful? Would it be painful for you?

I guess that is the secret to survival in whatever you do. Cherish your traditions, know what you stand for, but update yourself with the times.. don’t stay stagnant. The world doesn’t wait for you. The videos are in Chinese, but the pictures will convey the message to you. Share with others. Every vegetarian meal you take matters. I was on Facebook the other day and noticed a sharing by Susie Gugajew-Carton. Thank you so much Susie! I didn’t pay much attention at first as the description of this video was very abbreviated so I didn’t understand at first. But there was nothing else on Facebook that caught my eye so I...

(By Phng Li Kim, Personal Assistant to H.E. Tsem Rinpoche) Dana means “giving” or “generosity” in Sanskrit. In olden times, both the sangha and lay people were mutually dependent on each other. There is an interesting story regarding the 8th Karmapa and Trijang Rinpoche to show enlightenment has no borders no matter what tradition you hail from. (By Tsem Rinpoche and Phng Li Kim, CEO of Kechara Media & Publications) *中文请点这里。 In 2006, His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche led 63 pilgrims to offer 3,000 Manjushri statues and full sets of robes to 3,000 monks of Gaden Monastery, the main monastery of the Gelugpa school in South India (video below). It is extremely meritorious to offer robes to monks. Many monks in the monasteries only have 1-2 sets of robes, a bag and a few books as part of their personal possessions. The 3-piece monk/nun robe that they wear every day symbolises their renunciati...

Revisit this article ,reminds me of the great memories visiting this spiritual and historic years ago with the blessing of our Guru . Tibet, China is one of the highest cities in the world and serves as a major center for Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims. Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery, Drepung Monasteries, Barkhor Street, Gaden Monastery, few other Monasteries and beautiful sacred lakes. indeed worth visiting. I have the opportunity to on a pilgrimage going those sacred Monasteries. We did visited the famous Potala Palace former residence of the Dalai Lama and now is an UNESCO World Heritage site . This unique residence is an architectural marvel of wood, earth, and stone. Potala Palace is the most recognisable landmark in Lhasa where many tourist and pilgrims will visit .Reading this very informative post ,many going there will be much easier.
Thank you Rinpoche and Stella for this sharing.
Manjushri is a bodhisattva who represents wisdom in Mahayana Buddhism. The Standing Buddha statue posture symbolizes the Buddha’s readiness to help and assist all sentient beings. This amazing standing Manjushri is located at the Manjushree Park at Chobhar, in Kathmandu, Nepal. Recording to legend it is believed to be the exact spot where Manjushri had cut Chobhar Hill and drained the water from an ancient lake. And that’s where Kathmandu valley is formed. Because of the spiritual significance the Standing Manjushri was built preserving Chobhar’s cultural and now is a tourist attraction. The legend of Kathmandu Valley is closely related to Manjushri as mentioned by the locals.
Visited this amazing Standing Manjushri years back. Merely by looking at it and circumambulating is a blessing.
Thank you Rinpoche for this wonderful sharing. May more people have the opportunity to visit such a Holy place.
Kiri Vehera is an ancient stupa situated in Kataragama, Sri Lanka. One of the most popular Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the country. It is known for its pristine white dome, where many locals, tourist and pilgrims visited these famous ancient Buddhist temple. Kiri Vehra, one of the most revered ancient stupas in Sri Lanka, as it believed to have been built in the 3rd century BC. Its now one of the most popular Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the country. This 12th-century stupa is commissioned by Queen Subhadda. Recording to locals Buddha Shakyamuni did visited this place and is said to be one of the sixteen sacred places in Sri Lanka. One of the eight Bodhi saplings is also situated in this meritorious land. That’s awesome. Recently a Bodhi saplings was given to Buddhist monks to bring back to Texas USA.
Interesting read of this scared place which is worth visiting.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.
Interesting article…. the Beishan Grottoes are ancient cliff carvings in Dazu District, China. Wow… such caves contain over 5,000 delicate, painted statues carved into a 500-meter-long slope. Its said to be created between 892 and 1172 AD, showing beautiful mixtures of Chinese folk life and Buddhist beliefs. These Dazu Rock Carvings were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. These carved sites have been recognized as protected cultural heritage sites, which contained more than 50,000 individual statues. The carvings represent the last great monument in the history of Chinese grotto art. Together with other grottoes of Dunhuang, Yungang, and Longmen, form a complete narrative of China’s grotto art history. The carvings are invaluable for their historical, artistic, scientific, and aesthetic significance. Interesting. Looking at those pictures in this blog is worth a visit there. Simply amazing.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.

Dear everyone... This is a good condensed talk I gave on Guru Yoga of Tsongkapa. This is the one you should share with others when they are interested in a not too lengthy explanation. It is the perfect practice for everyone who wants simplicity yet effective blessings. You can share this with more people, it will be good.
