Some pictures I thought you might enjoy and do you think they are genuine. The paranormal beings do exist, but can they be captured on film? What do you think?

Ghost and Story
Brown Lady
The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall is a ghost, which reportedly haunts Raynham Hall in Norfolk. It became one of the most famous hauntings in Great Britain when photographers from Country Life magazine claimed to have captured its image. The “Brown Lady” is so named because of the brown brocade dress it is claimed she wears.
Rear Seat Spirit
This was taken in 1959, which has a woman in the rear seat and its no other than her deceased mother’s spirit on the day when she went to visit her mom’s grave.
Grouping Up
Freddy Jackson, the guy in that group photo was deceased before two days before this photo was taken and he still poses in it. It happened continuously even after first time and the others confirmed his presence in all the photos.
Spirit in Church
This is one of the undeniable picture of ghosts ever taken by Reverend K.F.Ford which clearly shows a Monk like spirit in a church in England during the summer, 1954.
Never Mind the Man Behind
The man who took the photo claimed that the man in the background wasn’t there when he took the picture. This was taken in Boothill Graveyard in Tombstone, Arizona, 1996.
Woman All Alone
Experts did question this picture and researched on it, but it was declared that it could not be double-exposure or any photo editing works. It was a real one and was taken near Alice Springs, Australia in 1959.
Scary Staircase
This was taken at the National Museum in Greenwich, England. There is a ghostly figure near the staircase but the photographer said that there was noone present there when he took that shot.
Jane’s Play
This picture was taken in 1995, but that house got burned down by an accidental fire created by Jane in 1677 who died in that fire and that girl in the picture is Jane’s spirit. As we speak of it, some calls it a classic example of smoke creating illusion.
Sitting in Cemetery
All believed that the woman was not there when this photo was taken but even though a camera sometimes captures more than what a naked eye can see. This was taken in the World’s most haunted graveyard – Bachelor’s Grave Cemetery, Illinois.
Lord’s Favorite
This was taken after the death of Lord Combermere in 1981 due to family need for some pictures and when those pictures were developed it seemed to be that the Lord was sitting in his favorite chair in spiritual form

Wow interesting looking at those rare old pictures of ghost or spirits or of the unseen caught on camera. Spirits do exist afterall and I do believe it existing. I did captured one few years back during my trip to Lhasa, Tibet. I couldn’t believed what was caught then the unseen.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.
Spirits are real, No doubt
I find it interesting to see these vintage photos with spirits captured clearly in it. If these photos are produced today, people will easily dismiss it as hoax because editing is a job that anyone can apply. Whether the photos are authentic or not, I am a firm believer of the unseen or the formless beings. There are six realms according to Buddhism, and we are but only one of the habitants in one of the realms. To me, the photo are just reaffirmation of their existence. Thank you for this article.
這真難得見的一系影照,感谢謝謝仁波切的分享,这是自然情况下拍摄的嗎?
Like 18 years ago or so I got a letter from an Argentine 60-year-old fan of spirituality & said that if you leave a camara with very sensitive film, in a dim pleace with the obturator being left like 2 minutes open & a babe then appear on film like spheres & lights. This according to parapsychologists. So parapsychologists have the recepies (tips) for capturing spiritual scences, etc.
Nice! Should have more recent years pictures. Guess those ghosts and spirits love the cameras more then, than now.
My family also has a pic of my mum-in-law’s spirit on the morning of her 1st 7th day.
The night before is her ‘wui won’ (soul return) day
These are awesome pictures thank you Rinpoche had my scare for the week.
These are truly interesting indeed, I wonder if we can still get the same effect now that we’re in the digital generation. I wonder what makes a huge difference between film photography and digital photography that allows it to capture super natural images. Nonetheless these photos are still very interesting and I do believe they are all real.
Dear Rinpoche, I could not the spirit in the third picture and I have been looking at it for 3 minutes. Lol! I love to watch and read about paranormal things but for some reasons, I’m also very afraid of spirits and so. They seems to be very interesting to study but they are sometimes very scary (only to me I guess). And I do wanna know more about them.
Dear Rinpoche, I don’t understand why cameras can captures images that we normally can’t see with our naked eyes. Maybe it is because the cameras has a special lens which are able to spirits or maybe not. It’s just really confusing when you try to think really hard about something you don’t understand. And I also do not understand why people wouldn’t believe in spirits even when they encounter them or see them in pictures?
I completely without a doubt believe in the paranormal! This is why I host The Paranormal Zone where my team and I research paranormal stories and provide to the audience an understanding of who they are and their existence. Most of our visuals are captured on camera and not seen by the naked eye. Why? I have been told that it is because the camera is neutral and has no karma to see or not see. This explains why the pictures above are captured so clearly on camera. It is my understanding as well that not everyone can see them. Some can smell, sense, hear or even cognitively see them. But most people have some level of sensitivity to their existence thus the term “goose bumps”.
This is very interesting but I think that some of these images may be forgeries but who can deny the existence of paranormalities in this earthly realm. What we see may not be real but what is real, we may never see.
Look very real I do not think is not real because spirits do exit in samsara is just not everyone can see them . Sometime when go to some public toilet I do can feel they exits because I do not feel good. Thank you Rinpoche for sharing these pictures with us.
I do think that these 10 pictures are genuine, because firstly people back then didn’t have a proper equipment to edit a picture and secondly, I don’t see why they would lie about this. I actually believe that sometimes spirits can be captured on camera but when we want them to be in the pictures, we might not get what we want. Normally they are captured accidentally, not by plans or anything.
