The very clear video (you’ll enjoy the clarity) below is Episode 6 from Season One of the documentary Ancient Aliens. It is based around Erich von Däniken’s book “Chariots of the Gods?”. Excellent book that spoke out at a time people dare not speak out for fear of ridicule. Erich was bombasted, criticized and ridiculed by scientists and theologians harshly. But that didn’t matter to him. He wanted the truth and many around the world shared the same sentiments. Now decades later, the situation has reversed. With his book reprinted in over 60 languages millions of copies sold clearly indicates many are catching on.
Over three decades ago I accidentally found the book by Erich von Däniken and read it voraciously in my home in New Jersey as a kid… I had so many chores and gardening to do and was very anxious to finish them and then get to the book! My step parents had no clue as to what I was reading… they were living their American dream… hehe. I could not put Chariots of the Gods down. I read parts of it over and over. Looked at the pictures hundreds of times. Before reading the book, I was not thinking of human origins or UFO’s or ancient visitors at all. But after reading the book, it set the wheels turning and I became very interested until today where I am blogging about it. Some of the comparisons and ideas in the book I found difficult to accept in the beginning. Because it was kinda too neat to be true??? It was too fantastic to be true…but in my heart I said why not?? Now I think why not firmly.
The book theorizes how primitive humans were influenced religiously and technologically by beings from another planet. It was the first book that based itself on adventure and real archaeology. Being enormously popular, the movies Star Wars, Space Odyssey and Dune were inspired by Erich von Däniken’s discovery! THIS VIDEO I’VE INCLUDED IS VERY INTERESTING BECAUSE IT GIVES YOU POTENTIAL THEORIES ON ACTUAL HUMAN ORIGINS… you must watch this video…
Erich spent most of his life (40 years) researching the ancient civilizations that left behind evidence through images, artifacts and literature. They all described how their individual civilizations were influenced by beings who were not from this world… The stories told were all similar – beings descended from above, came to help and promised to come back in the distant future. How come some many ancient cultures left clear written records of ancient visitations from beings of not this earth? They came and shared knowledge, had incredible technology, with flying machines, glimmering suits, wore head apparatuses, and looked different yet similar to us. The evidence and sources are numerous…
These civilizations such as the Mayans, Incas, Polynesians, Indians, Hindus, Bolivian etc all had evidence of visitations of beings from the skies above. They welcomed these beings as Gods as they came with technology far more advanced than the knowledge at that time; perhaps even more advanced than what exists in our modern world today. (Look at 16:30 of the video… how the Nazca Geoglyphs are so incredible. How tops of mountains were flattened of their summits to become a ‘landing’ field. The mountains around them are with summits. How did the ancients remove the summits… take a careful examination.
During World War II, many American air force pilots landed on the remote Pacific Islands. The local tribesmen found these “flying machines” out of this world and incredibly fascinating. These planes flew above their head and gave them “gifts”… lots of food and other items were scattered around the islands from the planes. This is happening in modern times… it’s in the video… very interesting.
After World War II, the Air Force abandoned the islands and never returned. It was later documented how the local people on the Pacific Islands continued to worship the “flying machines”, building wooden models of the planes and performing annual ceremonies every year… awaiting for the “Gods” to return to bestow on them more gifts. Perhaps that is how some religions started??
In 20:30 of the video, you see how ‘God/angels/heavenly messengers’ take flying vehicles to visit men. See how they describe the smoke, fire, noise, wheels, lights, shimmering clothes, humming of these flying machines… How come celestial beings need flying vehicles?? Ezekial in the Old Testament really describes flying ships (heavenly visions) so clearly… watch carefully what Ezekial has to say…
In 28:00 of the videos, the sacred Hindu Purana texts and a few other sacred Sanskrit texts which dates over 5,000 years ago describe vimanas (flying air ships). These ships are described in detail and also having aerial battles. There are witnesses from thousands of years ago describing ancient aerial ships from all over the world. If we can rely on ancient texts/carvings/records for history, accounts, culture and religion, then why not ancient accounts of UFOs?? Look at (31:10) strange petrogyphs and images of helmeted beings made by people thousands of years ago. If you carefully examine, it looks like a astronaut… or carvings similar to modern day airplanes.
Thousands of years ago, people didn’t know the difference between religion and technology. Things that they could not comprehend were seen as other worldly. They depicted what they saw in relations to what they knew e.g. flying objects had wings and flying objects that carried people were flying chariots etc.
Watch the video to see how thousands of years ago, building blocks were made to fit in perfect alignment with each other. How did ancient people, who apparently only had primitive tools, move stones weighing thousands of tonnes? How did they precisely carve and shape stones when the only thing harder than this particular type of stone is diamond?
For all of these spectacular creations, it was said that human beings made it with “the assistance of guardians of the sky” or by human beings with the “assistance of Gods”. Who are these Gods? What did they know thousands of years ago when even modern architects of today have expressed how it is impossible to recreate such clean-cut, large-scale buildings?
The unknown can open up a huge range of possibilities. It’s good to research all angles before drawing your own conclusion. For example, is this Mayan ruler descending into hell? (top) or flying off to another world (bottom)?

Erich von Daniken’s brief is unwavering indeed. “Chariots of the Gods” written by Erich von Daniken tells us more, concerning the ancient mysteries of the world and are all related to Gods. It has endures as proof that Earth has been visited repeatedly by advanced aliens from other worlds. People from earth visited the outside world so its not possible that Aliens visited earth too. Its has proof that aliens indeed has visited earth thousand years ago. Erich von Daniken had examines ancient ruins, lost cities, spaceports, and a myriad of hard scientific facts that pointed to extra-terrestrial intervention in human history. Ancient mysteries of the world, such as the pyramids of Egypt and Mexico, ancient cave drawings, paintings theorizes extra-terrestrials did impacted early human life. The Easter Island statues and other archaeological anomalies were the work of extra-terrestrials. The early civilization could not have built such ancient pyramids of Egypt without the help of extra-terrestrials or “GODS”. Recording to them it was built by ‘GODS’ as in ancient texts. All still a mysteries and unanswered questions and so as many others ancient buildings, monuments and so forth around the world. Amazing and incredible looking at those ancient structures were built and why it was built at that time without modern machinery. Interesting watch which I truly enjoyed watching .

I love the theories and question marks that Erich Von Daniken presented in his book and this video. I happened to have read his book many years back and was baffled by what he had to say about various cultural relics of the past. They seemed to have pointed to aliens being the progenitors or the very least, the catalyst of human civilisation.
I watched the movie Prometheus and the premise of the movie was based on the theories presented here. I am quite pleasantly surprised to see the same Von Daniken’s theories being echoes in the story . It is nice to be reminded of Von Daniken’s theories in this latest sci-fi epic. I guess, until his questions are answered, Von Daniken’s theories are timeless.
Yes this topic is so interesting make you think out of the box and question our history. If you like this you will like Zecharia Sitchin he interpreted the Sumerian clay tablets and wrote books amazing man!

Chariots of the Gods is an amazing book! You can believe the evidence or not, it is the question that is important. The very idea of alien life shakes up most religions, weakens their ideologies threatening the validity of ‘god’. Even the ‘theory’ of evolution can do this. Seeing this website has made me a very happy man 🙂 Buddhist wisdom doesn’t fear the truth, and it doesn’t have to change philosophy as we evolve and our values change (i believe our civilization is rather materialistic at present). I do not worship a god so i am not religious. But i feel at ease for the future of mankind knowing that Buddhists exist and are counted within the religions that control our civilization. Many thanks all who are motivated by love.
according to buddhism, didnt the Buddha already talked about creatures from outer spaces that had already visited earth thousand of years ago before his birth?
such an event had already been informed long ago by the Buddha,
Buddha had also claimed that there exists 3 more universe similar to earth’s and each placed far away in north, east, south, west.
religions in our planet, however only exists in earth,
while Buddhism exists in all other planets, along with other other religions on the other planet.
unlike other religion which only talk about the past,
Buddhism profound knowledge talks about the past, present and future.
not only that, Buddhism knowledge not only limited to a certain people, a certain country, a certain time..
the Buddha infinite knowledge includes all sentient being, the earth, the beginning, the ending, and the universe.

Erich Von Daniken, author of the above book is said to have spent over 40years of his life, researching that ancient civilisations had left behind evidences through images, artifacts and literatures revealing and describing how the outside world beings purportedly came down from the sky to visit our world. Numerous evidences depicted these “special beings” had incredible technology and knowledges of flying machines, wore glimmering suits and had head-apparatus on. They were welcomed as “Gods” by these ancient civilisations, all of whom could produce evidences of the visitations. Of course thousands of years ago, people didnt know the difference between the religion and technology. Whatever flies, were taken to have wings. No one during those times would apprehend what a “UFO” or flying saucer was. Flying objects which can carry people would be visalised as godly flying chariots. Though Erich would have gone through hell just trying to want to find the truth, at least he managed to have his sentiments accepted by people through his reprinted book in 60 languages with over a miilion sold. Anything is possible in today’s time as in the case of Christopher Colombus who has proven that the world is round, when it was believed otherwise.

Thanks for sharing this video with us. After finished watching this video, i start to think if GOD is testing us by leaving so many ancient pieces to be studied. Was the creator or our accestors smart enough to have invented the so-called technology or instead, those building were there before this century? What i mean here is something like the dinosaur thing. Its about one world has come to an end and we started it brand new. No living creatures were leave during the end of the world but buildings on the earth. No one should has any memories of the past to study everything all over again…
Anice, Why does God have to be testing you? Just because it’s not mentioned directly in the bible? You might be forgetting that when you read a bible, you might not be getting the same meaning that the different authors that contributed to the Christian bible wanted us to see. So much time has passed and Christianity has evolved so much. Perhaps it IS mentioned but in a word usage that culture has lost over time… 🙂
Dear friends, This video maybe of your interest or maybe not, but one thing for sure, it opens up the mind to possibilities. I like that. Why be limited in our perceptions. Understanding and speculating on age old beliefs could be healthy. …If anything very thought provoking. Since we have free mind, let’s use it. Let’s not use it toward what we are forced to believe but what we conclude with evidence….evidence of course can be empirical. Much of science in the begining is empirical also…it’s only ‘proven’ much later on. Watch this video and let me know what you think. TR
