This week’s episode, Banging Pots, describes an incident that happened 15 years ago.
It was quite a busy period, thinking back to 15 years in Singapore, as a lot of people would come to see me for discussions… usually, these were relating to personal matters. One of them was a lady who was experiencing strange occurrences in her own bedroom. Whenever she tried to sleep, she would feel someone tugging at her feet… attempting to pull her.
Upon hearing her distress, I did a divination and found that there was an ‘entity’ in her house. The divination also pinpointed a practice that would help her overcome her paranormal disturbances. This being had some karmic connection with her and would not go away easily. Instead, it would fight to stay. As the power of prayers started to take effect, it would intensify its presence: pulling, pot-banging etc in an attempt to remain.
As she was practicing at home, the sound of pots banging got louder and the tugging at her feet became stronger and more violent…
Did she continue her practice? What should we do upon encountering a spirit? … Generate compassion towards spirits – WHY?!

Addendum
Spirits have no definitive form and just like humans, some may be benevolent and some malicious. They are trapped by their negative karma, hence they exist as spirits for thousands of years. Only when their karma is exhausted can they then take a new rebirth into another existence. A malicious spirit can attach itself to us, causing interferences or harm, such as accidents, negative dreams and in some severe cases, even death.
Dorje Shugden’s practice, especially in the form of Trakze, is efficacious for overcoming negative and harmful energies. This practice also offers protection from negative speech, negative mantras, spells or charms, sudden deaths and fatal accidents. To learn more, please click here.

Hearing the sound of pots banging mid of the night and the tugging at her feet will definitely be scary. It is a dark and stormy night this lady experienced strange occurrence in her own house and even in her own bedroom. As advice by Rinpoche to her is to practice Dorje Shugden’s practice, in the form of Trakze, at home. However the sound of pots banging got louder and the tugging at her feet became stronger and more violent. As the power of prayers started to take effect she gave up midway somehow after a week. Well Rinpoche’s advice will not go wrong if we have taken it seriously with faith. Dorje Shugden’s practice, especially in the form of Trakze, offers protection from negative speech, negative mantras, spells or charms, sudden deaths and fatal accidents.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.
Thank you, Rinpoche for telling us this story for us to learn from it. Rinpoche gives a lot of advice and instructions to many people and students to help them. However, no all of the recipient of Rinpoche’s kindness will be willing to go all the way with Rinpoche’s advice and instructions even though it is for our own good. Some will stick all the way but some will stop halfway due to their laziness and fears due to the lack of faith in Rinpoche.
Rinpoche will not give any advice that will harm us. Sometimes, the instructions might seem to be harming us or unreasonable, but we have to have faith in Rinpoche that eventually it will be beneficial for us in the long run.
That was such a sad ending. I really hope the lady was okay, and that someday she gets to meet up with his eminence again. She must have been very scared to stop the prayers… Hope that she did end up well.
This is interesting paranormal article true story of a lady who was experiencing strange occurrences in her own bedroom. And there will be pots banging in her kitchen true enough to scare anybody away. I loved reading anything related to paranormal. I will be scared but second thought not at all as I have trust , faith in our Guru and Dorje Shugden;s protection. Sadly this lady did not follow Rinpoche advice which she gave up after a week . May she be well now and the spirits are no more disturbing and attached to her or has moved out from that apartment.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this interesting article.
Dear Rinpoche, sometimes I pity and most of the times I afraid of them. I understand the feelings that the lady had, I would also give up if I’m not a person who is close to Rinpoche. Maybe it’s because she still doesn’t trust and know Rinpoche enough. And many people would also give up on doing their prayer because they are too afraid of the spirits that is haunting them. I really wish that the lady is fine.
I really do not know how I would react if I was this lady. Most likely, I guess I will be scared to death.
On the other hand, it is really a pity that she chose to give up the advise given by Rinpoche.
If I were her and if I had been told that situation would get worst when the prayer started to take effect, I guess I would be so happy that I will fight till the end.
It could be scary and tough at the beginning. But I trust that Three Jewel and Rinpoche will give their blessings to me.
I have heard of people who do not stay on the prescribed remedy and see it through hence the door to the spirits will always remain open. Spirits can surely cause someone to go mad. Yeah there was a man who was being possessed by nagas and he did not follow through Rinpoche’s advise despite Rinpoche’s advised him personally, too bad.
Dear Rinpoche, thank you for sharing 😀
