Scorned yet loyal
My Dear Lord Guru who is the Buddha to me,
All that you have given me, I hold steadfast.
All the Dharma you have bestowed on me I treasure.
All the compliments you gave me, I train in no attachment.
All the scoldings you lovingly gave me, I see as the end to my ego.
All the mandalas you initiated me into I see as doorways to end my samsara.
All the time you gave me can never be equalled by another.
All the instructions you gave me, I will not find excuses to abandon.
Whether you are present obviously or not, I will meditate on you daily and invoke your blessings.Although now you are gone physically Father Guru, I hold onto your lineage.
I hold onto your practice. I hold onto your Yidam. I hold onto your yogas.
I hold onto your protector. Whatever is sacred to you Lord Guru, is my privilege and honor to receive.For my loyalty to your instructions to me, I am scorned. For holding onto your lineage I am cursed. For holding onto what you have given me, I am reviled. For being loyal to your being, I am made into an enemy of all that is good. For being loyal to your practices, I am called the most corrupt and liar. For being loyal to your protector practice, I am called degenerate. For being loyal to you I am called all names that denote corruption and I am shunned. For never losing faith in you Father Guru, I am abandoned and left to to be hated by all that I am familiar and expelled. My days and nights pass with scorn from the ten directions even from those I have never met or shall never meet.
My Lord guru, I will not forsake you even if the hatred of all samsara is upon me daily. It is not easy to live this way, sometimes I weaken, but I will not lose my Father Guru’s instructions nor abandon them. They may revile me, hate me, scorn me, abandon me and friends may leave, opponents abound, family walk away, but I will not abandon a shred of what you have taught me. Even if they chase me away, threaten my life and I have nowhere to go, I will not abandon the teachings you have bestowed upon me. My Buddha Guru, I will hold all your teachings, practice, lineage, yidams, yogas, protector within my heart and share with others as you have shared with me no matter how much hatred I must withstand and tolerate. For monetary, political or samsaric gains offered, I will still not abandon your teachings my Guru. For friendship, acceptance and popularity I will not abandon your teachings my guru. Even if another guru more famous, well known or higher in hierarchy tells me to abandon my practice given by my guru, I will not abandon but remain steadfast as no one has the right to override my guru. For the hatred, scorn and accusations towards me, I will not abandon your practice and protector my Buddha Guru.
I bow at your lotus feet with the crown of my head Your Holiness Kyabje Zong Rinpoche. I will endure samsaric beings’ hatreds and all the karmas that manifest but I will remain steadfast to my promise to you, which is to hold the teachings within me, transform and benefit others. I will not abandon your lineage, practice, instructions, yogas and protector and I pray I will receive the same in my future rebirths. As hatred manifest towards me due to my loyalty and diligence, I will see this as karmas arising to be purified. Bless me Buddha Guru, your loyal unworthy student. May I never be separated from you. I offer you my body, speech, mind, ego, faults, merits, fears, practices and deepest devotions……

I was 18 years old when this was taken back in 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Here I am in this photo with my most precious root guru, His Holiness Kyabje Zong Rinpoche. He has profoundly changed my life for the better forever. Not a day goes by I don’t think about him, love him, miss him and yearn for his presence and teachings.
I meditate on him in my heart every single day. He was everything that a high Tibetan lama is said to be and more. From the moment I heard his name before meeting him from a friend who had met him already, faith instantly arose in me. Instantly faith arose in me. I did 100 prostrations to his picture everyday until I met him. I wanted to make a spiritual karmic connection with him so that when I met him, I can receive many teachings and that is why I made the prostrations.
No other spiritual teacher although all of them were great has this sort of meteoric impact on me. It’s unexplainable. 30 plus years down the line, my faith, respect and trust in Kyabje Zong Rinpoche is unshakable. I will always follow and practice what he has taught me and given me. I will never abandon my teacher or any practice he has given me no matter what obstacles come my way.
No matter if my life is threatened, or I am disliked or segregated for following his instructions, I will never abandon any of his teachings. No other teacher will ever have me change my practice I have received from Kyabje Zong Rinpoche. May I meet Kyabje Zong Rinpoche in all my future lives too and come under his care. I forever bow to him and place the crown of my unworthy head to his feet. I will follow, meditate, trust and believe in my guru always.

我永远不会背弃我的上师,或是背弃他赐予我的任何修行,不管我眼前出现什么阻难。即使我因为遵从他的指示而面对生命威胁,或遭受厌弃或排挤,我仍然不会背弃他的任何一个教诲。没有任何一位上师能够动摇嘉杰宋仁波切赐予我的修行。祈愿我生生世世都能遇见嘉杰宋仁波切并得到他的引导。我永世顶礼于嘉杰宋仁波切足下。我将永远遵从上师的教诲,忆念他,信任他,相信他。

Melodies of the Ensa Ear-Whispered Chod Lineage
At the request of Venerable Geshe Tsultim Gyeltsen in 1983 at Thubten Dhargye Ling in Los Angeles, USA, Kyabje Zong Rinpoche recited and taught the Ensa Ear-Whispered Chod practice from memory. These melodies are chanted according to prayers known as: Cutting through Self-grasping; Dedicating the Illusory Body as Ganachakra; and the Ganachakra Offering according to Chod practice. Zong Rinpoche chose to present the melodies of certain verses of these prayers and remarked that there may come a time when Chod melodies are taught according to this recording.

Thank you for this sharing and showing us the true meaning of Guru Devotion. It is not encouraged to have multiple Gurus because the student may be confused by the different set of teaching.
The spiritual life of the teacher has an impact on us as a student. We cannot expect someone who lies to us to be loyal to us. Honesty is what creates loyalty.
Thank you, Rinpoche for sharing with us this poem on Guru devotion. The Guru knows the disciple so well that the training that the Guru prescribes for the student will be the direct antidote for the student’s problem. The intensity of the training is also specially tailored for the student that suit their mind.
The guru is so compassionate to put himself in that situation and risk his own relationship with the student. There are many times where the student decided to leave the Guru when the training gets tougher or uncomfortable for them. The guru will never ever get anything back from the students for all his hard work in designing their training but instead getting negative reactions for interfering with their life.
What does the guru get from you by irking you or giving you a difficult task? They do not get anything back and it is for the student’s welfare. Why does a monk even want to interfere with your secular life? It is because of compassion that he is doing it. The Guru’s love is much more than a parent’s love because his love will be staying with us lifetime after lifetime in the form of Dharma.
This is prescient. Dear Rinpoche, this I will remember. Please return to us soon.
Loyalty is the ability to put others before ourselves and stick with them in good times and bad or difficult times. Show loyalty to friends, family, teachers and significant others by being honest, trustworthy, supportive, and generous. Maintain healthy boundaries with those around us so we can be loyal to them in a productive way. The spiritual life of the teacher has an impact on us as a student. We cannot expect someone who lies to us to be loyal to us. Honesty is what creates loyalty. Loyalty needs to be handled with honesty and if we cannot be honest then we do not deserve loyalty.

Be loyal to your guru. Be close to your guru. Be honest with your guru. Never give your guru excuses but always accomplish your assignments that your guru has given you. Dear friends,
Tibet has produced many powerful meditations, rituals and guidelines to help us gain spiritual protection, gain wisdom and higher states of consciousness. In general Tibet has produced many powerful methods for the growth of our spiritual evolution. Dorje Shugden is an angel, a saint, a powerful spiritual protector-warrior who originated 350 years ago when a highly awakened Tibetan Lama fulfilled his vows to become a special being to grant protection, wisdom, material needs, safety when travelling (normal and astral travel) and spiritual awakening. Both the Great 5th Dalai Lama and the current His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama composed short yet effective prayers to invoke upon the power and blessings of this special saint and protector. One can recite either one of the prayers that you feel suits you, anytime or even daily. When you feel a special need for help, you can recite either prayer anytime. When you are feeling down, afraid or just need a blessing, you can recite them. After reciting either invocation, it is good to chant the mantra of Dorje Shugden: Om Benza Wiki Bitana Soha.
You do not have to be a Buddhist or practitioner of any religion to invoke upon the blessings and protection of this special enlightened and awakened angel Dorje Shugden. He helps all without discrimination or bias as he is filled with compassion and love. Divinity has no boundaries, they help all who call upon them.

In Vajrayana Buddhist tradition (Tibetan Buddhism), it is said that all attainments come from our guru. Therefore, it is very important to learn from a qualified guru. A qualified guru will know our state of mind and give us the practice that we need to progress in our spiritual journey that leads to enlightenment.
The training from the guru for every student is different. Sometimes, the guru will use a very wrathful method to train a student. When a guru uses the wrathful method, he is risking his reputation to help the students. The scoldings from the guru or simply just ignored by the guru is not because our guru doesn’t love us, it is because of our karma and our state of mind.
Once we understand why our guru treats us in a certain way and we change and transform ourselves, our guru will be very pleased and things will change. He wants us to take responsibility for our lives and be out of sufferings. A real guru is not here to make us feel good but to constantly challenge our comfort zone so we can progress in our spiritual journey. When we have found a qualified guru, never abandon him. Maintain a very good relationship (samaya) with him so that we can meet him again and again until we achieve enlightenment.
Divination (‘mo’) Text by Dorje Shugden
This is an important divination (‘mo’) text composed by Dorje Shugden himself. Dorje Shugden took trance of the Choyang Dulzin oracle lama, the senior oracle of Gaden Shartse Monastery, and instantly on the spot composed this text within two hours.
The divination text contains information on how to use dice to do divination for the future and is known to be highly accurate. His Holiness the 10th Panchen Lama
Tibetans commonly refer to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and His Holiness 10th Panchen Lama as the “sun and moon” of Tibetan Buddhism. They are the center of Tibetan Buddhist civilization, which draws to its sphere of influence millions of non-Tibetan practitioners. The Panchen Lama’s incarnation line began with the 16th abbot of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Lobsang Chokyi Gyeltsen (1570 – 1662). He was bestowed the title of Panchen Lama by His Holiness the 5th Dalai Lama after being declared as an emanation of Amitabha.
After being given the title, his three previous incarnations were posthumously also bestowed the title, making Lobsang Chokyi Gyeltsen the 4th Panchen Lama. He became a teacher to many Tibetans, Bhutanese and Mongolian religious figures, including His Holiness the 4th and 5th Dalai Lamas, and the 1st Jetsun Dampa of Mongolia. A prolific author, Chokyi Gyeltsen is credited with over a hundred compositions, including a number of commentaries and ritual texts that remain central in the Gelukpa tradition today. Along with his role as a teacher of the Dharma, the Panchen Lamas are usually responsible for the recognition of the rebirths of the Dalai Lamas, and vice versa.
The 10th Panchen Lama, Lobsang Trinley Lhundrub Chokyi Gyeltsen (19 February 1938 – 28 January 1989) continued both the spiritual and political roles of his predecessors. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, his contemporary, was even heard to say and echo the Panchen Lama’s own words that the Dalai Lama would safeguard Tibet from the outside while the Panchen Lama would safeguard Tibet from the inside, as he never left Tibet after the political troubles of 1959. He was truly loved by the Tibetans, all the way until his passing. When he taught, thousands of people would attend, not only from his own Gelug lineage, but masters and practitioners from all traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.
At his sprawling monastery of Tashi Lhunpo, he has a special chapel specifically dedicated to Dorje Shugden, where prayers and rituals are performed on a daily basis. In his great omniscience the Panchen Lama held Dorje Shugden as the principal Dharma protector of the monastery. He also personally propitiated Dorje Shugden among other Dharma protectors, and even wrote extensive prayers and rituals to Dorje Shugden. These rituals and prayers are contained within his ‘sung bum’ or collected works, which are provided here. As such a great lama, with an erudite and clear understanding of the Buddhist scriptures, a teacher to millions in both Tibet and China, from an established incarnation line and an emanation of the Buddha Amitabha, he could not be mistaken about his practice of Dorje Shugden.
His Holiness 10th Panchen Lama is known for his composition of commentaries and practice texts that are still in use by contemporary Buddhist practitioners both in Tibet and across the world. One of these is a powerful ritual composition propitiating the compassionate Dorje Shugden.
Upon the request by Acharya Lobsang Jangchub to compose a shorter version of the prayer (sadhana) for the exhortation of activities of Dorje Shugden, Panchen Lama immediately composed an abbreviate form of Dorje Shugden’s Kangsol. This text is entitled “Manjunatha’s (Tsongkapa) Lineage protector Dorje Shugden and five forms wrathful propitiations and confessional prayers and fulfilment of activities rites” or “Melodious sound of Accomplishment of the Four Activities” for short. Once the prayers were completed, he had signs and strong feelings that Dorje Shugden has been working hard to protect the Buddhadharma in general and the lineage of Lama Tsongkhapa specifically.
Mirroring the abilities of one of his earlier incarnations, Khedrub Je, a disciple of Lama Tsongkhapa and master of both sutra and tantra, the Panchen Lama used his compositional skill and poetic prowess to create a masterful sadhana. Worthy of note is a praise in which the first letter of each verse is a Tibetan vowel. Such compositions are rarely seen, and have historically only been used when propitiating senior Dharma protectors such as Palden Lhamo and Kalarupa.
The Panchen Lama also stated that while composing the Dorje Shugden sadhana (prayers) he was filled with a sense of happiness and bliss. He ends the composition with not only his official title but his ordination name, Tenzin Trinley Jigme Choje Wangchuk, endorsing the validity of his work. He composed the sadhana in his own Tashi Lhunpo monastery while in the Hall of Clear Light and Bliss.

Dorje Shugden is a powerful protector deity who is also an emanation of Manjushri, a wisdom bestowing Buddha. Therefore, he has great ability to help us to progress further on the spiritual path. He does this by helping us to overcome obstacles and problems for the modern individual.
Due to his enlightened nature, Dorje Shugden is able to manifest 32 deities and within the same abode resides Setrap and Kache Marpo:-
1. 5 Dorje Shugden families or emanations. They consists of the following:-
– Dulzin Dorje Shugden, which performs activities to eliminate inner and outer obstacles.
– Shize, which performs activities to pacify all illnesses and disease.
– Gyenze, which performs activities to increase all desirable material and spiritual wealth.
– Wangze, which performs activities to control difficult people and circumstances.
– Trakze, which performs activities to wrathfully eliminate all insurmountable obstacles and life-threatening situations.
2. 9 Mothers. They represent protection of the five senses and developing control of the four elements. These are all attributes that signify their ability to assist tantric practitioners with their higher meditations.
3. 8 Guiding Monks. They represent the Eight Great Bodhisattvas (Avalokitesvara, Manjushri, Vajrapani, Samantabhadra, Maitreya, Kshitigarbha, Akashagarbha, Sarva-nivarana-viskambini) and they bring about the growth of the Dharma, through the Sangha, Dharma practitioners and Dharma establishments.
4. 10 Youthful & Wrathful Attendants. They represent the ten wrathful attendants to avert inner and outer obstacles. They are beings who are from Mongolia, China, Kashmir, India, Bengali, etc.
5. Setrap. He is a senior Dharma Protector from India and an emanation of Amitabha Buddha. He had enthroned Dorje Shugden as an authentic Dharma Protector. Therefore, he also resides within the same mandala of Dorje Shugden.
6. Kache Marpo. He is not an emanation of Dorje Shugden but he is still an enlightened Dharma Protector in his own right. He was originally known as Tsiu Marpo of Samye Monastery. However, he has placed himself under the service of Dorje Shugden as his chief minister, performing many activities in order to protect and benefit practitioners. Therefore, he stands guard at the main entrance of Dorje Shugden’s mandala. He often takes trance of qualified mediums to speak.
7. Namkar Barzin. He is the reincarnation of an old Mongolian monk and when he passed away in Phari area of Tibet, his spirit was placed as a powerful assistant of Dorje Shugden. He guards and protects buildings and great institutions especially those that benefit others. He rides on a mythical Gyaling animal that resembles a goat but with scales.

They are based on the lineage of His Holiness Panchen Rinpoche’s monastery, Tashilhunpo in Shigatse, Tibet. In fact, the iconography of these statues are based on detailed photographs taken by H. E. Tsem Rinpoche during a trip to Tashilhunpo’s protector chapel. These are based exactly as the 10th Panchen Lama’s personal collection.

A poem by Tsem Rinpoche
I was walking past a second hand shop on Western Ave selling old things. They had a Japanese-style clay Buddha which was beige in colour on the floor, holding the door open. I thought the shopkeeper would collect a lot of negative karma without knowing if he kept such a holy item on the floor as a doorstop. So I went in to talk to him, but he didn’t look like he wanted to talk or that he even cared. So I asked him the price and he said US$5. I purchased it so he did not collect more negative karma. I was 17 years old and that was in 1982.
I escorted my new Buddha home and washed it lightly and wiped it. I placed it on my altar and was happy with the Buddha. I would do my meditations, prayers, sadhanas, mantras and prostrations in front of this shrine daily. When I left for India in 1987, I could not bring this Buddha along and gave it to a friend. It was a nice size and I made offerings to this Buddha for many years in Los Angeles. In front of the Buddha I placed His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s photo. I remember I was so relieved that the price was affordable. But US$5 that time was still expensive for me but worth it I thought. But I was happy to have brought the Buddha home. Tsem Rinpoche

Lama Yeshe was a very devoted student of His Holiness Kyabje Zong Rinpoche. Lama Yeshe very much loved and respected Kyabje Zong Rinpoche and was the first lama to invite Kyabje Zong Rinpoche to the west. Kyabje Zong Rinpoche gave vast amount of empowerments, oral transmissions, teachings and sogtae of Dorje Shugden to many of Lama Yeshe’s senior students. Towards the end of Lama Yeshe’s fruitful life, he was in the hospital and physically shutting down. Kyabje Zong Rinpoche was giving teachings in Switzerland and was requested to fly in which Kyabje Zong Rinpoche most graciously did. Here in this picture is Kyabje Zong Rinpoche doing special prayers for his student Lama Yeshe. Lama Yeshe was already partially paralyzed, but true to a meditation master, his mind was extremely clear and bright. You can see Lama Yeshe leaning towards Kyabje Zong Rinpoche in deep respect and devotion. Lama Yeshe practiced all the lineages, yidams, protectors such as Dorje Shugden given to him till the end of his life. He never gave up on any of his practices as he has great devotion to Kyabje Zong Rinpoche and his other lamas. I was 18 years old when this was taken back in 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Here I am in this photo with my most precious root guru, His Holiness Kyabje Zong Rinpoche. He has profoundly changed my life for the better forever. Not a day goes by I don’t think about him, love him, miss him and yearn for his presence and teachings. I meditate on him in my heart every single day.
He was everything that a high Tibetan lama is said to be and more. From the moment I heard his name before meeting him from a friend who had met him already, faith instantly arose in me. Instantly faith arose in me. I did 100 prostrations to his picture everyday until I met him. I wanted to make a spiritual karmic connection with him so that when I met him, I can receive many teachings and that is why I made the prostrations. No other spiritual teacher although all of them were great has this sort of meteoric impact on me. It’s unexplainable.
30 plus years down the line, my faith, respect and trust in Kyabje Zong Rinpoche is unshakable. I will always follow and practice what he has taught me and given me. I will never abandon my teacher or any practice he has given me no matter what obstacles come my way. No matter if my life is threatened, or I am disliked or segregated for following his instructions, I will never abandon any of his teachings. No other teacher will ever have me change my practice I have received from Kyabje Zong Rinpoche.
May I meet Kyabje Zong Rinpoche in all my future lives too and come under his care. I forever bow to him and place the crown of my unworthy head to his feet. I will follow, meditate, trust and believe in my guru always.

I am glad to see this comment by ‘Suzy in Hawaii’ on Tsem Rinpoche’s YouTube Chanel. After all this time more and more people who bother to look beyond hearsay and prejudice are beginning to see the goodness of Dorje Shugdenand benefit from it. Promises and vows, most of them are hidden from sight. And if anyone trangresses or abandons promises and vows to people who have already departed from this life, no one will know about.
As we can see from social media, because of the Dorje Shugden issue, Rinpoche is attacked by people and those he does not know and the attacks is continuous. I have said many times if the time people focused on attacking others that they do not know, or even have the qualification to evaluate based on social media post and articles on the internet and redirected that enthusiasm to practice and contemplation on the dharma they would be spiritually advanced. They would not remain as having discontent, hateful, intolerance, they would mature spiritually.
The scorn a faithful receives is not about the faithful but about the scornful. The scornful do not understand the faith in the faithful because the scornful has not experienced, perhaps has not contemplated, perhaps is just not ready to understand, what the faithful does.
And what does the faithful understand?
For one, the faithful understand that faith is not about not having doubts. The faithful understand that faith and doubt are a pair, that when you have one you will have the other. This is perfectly logical.
Lord Buddha Shakyamuni emphasized this in the Kalama Sutta where he taught that it’s not for us to accept his teachings uncritically, but to use our own experience and reasoning ability to determine for ourselves what is true and what isn’t.
With this, faith develops.
And as Rinpoche has taught, have compassion for the scornful and try to help them gain knowledge and ultimately some wisdom to reduce their hate. Thank you Rinpoche.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing and showing us the true meaning of Guru Devotion. It is not encouraged to have multiple Gurus because the student may be confused by the different set of teaching. It is us who will be confused at our level, not the Guru. Practice diligently what the Guru teaches us all the way. It is very painful for us students and followers to witness the discriminations and insulted hurled at Rinpoche for simply practising good Guru Devotion. The haters are violating basic human rights and religious freedom that are totally unacceptable in this modern time and age. I pray that the haters will soon realised their wilful ways and follow the preaching of their guru diligently.

there are instances of gurus/teachers abusing their position – what is your advice in this regard?
I pray and practice to possess the same level of guru devotion like Tsem Rinpoche has for his root guru and gurus.
May I have the merits to serve you, like how you serve H.H Kyabje Zong Rinpoche. May I have the merits to assist you to spread pure Buddhadharma far, wide and deep to the degenerating world, hence, more people and sentient beings can be benefited.
May I never be parted from you, my Guru, Tsem Rinpoche, Buddhas and Dharma in my future lives.
May you live long, healthy, continue to turn the wheel of Dharma, assist & teach us the correct ways to transform our MONKEY MINDS.

Rinpoche is a living, breathing, walking example of Guru Devotion as expounded by Ashvagosha in his 50 Stanzas of Guru Devotion.
Through tough times and good, Rinpoche has remain steadfast in his promise and devotion to his Gurus. And, times has been extremely tough and trying the last few years due to the stance of the CTA against Dorje Shugden practitioners. It also has been very sad times as Rinpoche is unable to effective reach more people to teach the pure teachings of Lama Tsongkhapa to benefit them. These people are then deprived of the blessings of the dharma.
May the ban be lifted soon that more people may benefit from the dharma and pure teachings of Lama Tsongkhapa.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful advice and teachings. Whatever the guru has given us, we must follow and continue for the guru knows how to benefit us and would not give something harmful. We must keep our commitments clean and intact. Then many more can benefit.
Whenever Tsem Rinpoche speaks or writes about Zong Rinpoche, it always evokes an incredible and palpable sense of tenderness and love. At the same time there is so much fortitude in that gentleness and I guess that is what pure guru devotion ‘feels’ like.
Rinpoche has never taught or asked his students to be devoted and loyal to him but through his living example, so many have learned and experienced the sheer joy of loving the Guru whole heartedly.
Rinpoche’s unshakeable commitment to Dorje Shugden comes from his faithfulness to Zong Rinpoche. Similarly my strong reverence to the Protector stems from my absolute trust in my Guru.
Those who try to force Shugden practitioners to abandon the Protector do not understand this. They do not understand that what keeps us loyal is the greatst love we have experienced and it is far more precious than temporal life.
This is such a heart rendering poem & article of the challenges Rinpoche faced in holding steadfast to keeping his Guru Devotion strong and samaya clean. Rinpoche can never be faulted in the purity of his devotion to his Root Guru, H.H. Kyabje Zong Rinpoche and is a living example of the prayer “50 Verses to Guru Devotion” by Ashvagosha. As the time past with Rinpoche as my Guru, the more my faith and pride grows in being able to say “He’s my Guru”. All that he has ever taught, the way he lives and the way he treats others are true to Buddha’s teachings, albeit modernised to suit our era. Thank you for sharing this beautiful article.
Why should Rinpoche face so much vulgar abuses for bringing us the enlightened protector practise of Dorje Shugden? The 14th Dalai Lama claimed that there is no ban to the practice, so why is CTA and his followers creating so much pain and sufferings for the Shugden practitioners by discrimination, segregation, persecution and abuses? The Tibetans Shugden practitioners in exile faced problems with their living daily, not able to enter shops to buy groceries, not given medical care, problems in education, travelling papers denied, etc. Rinpoche faces daily Cyber Attacks from unknown persons who would spam with vulgar lies daily and at all hours (probably paid to troll) and accused of being a paid Chinese spy. It is just so weird that a person could be subject to such demeaning abuse, what more a pure Lama like Rinpoche. Besides, Rinpoche is in Malaysia in Kechara and all he does is expound the Dharma so it just illogical he is a Chinese spy. Is teaching Dharma equal to spying for the Chinese? Then His Holiness will be very guilty for that too.
Thank you Rinpoche for your compassion towards us to bring us the extremely beneficial protector practice of Lord Dorje Shugden who is the same mindstream as Buddha Manjushri and having to bear all the abuses because of it. May the Dalai Lama swiftly manifest his true compassionate nature of Avalokiteshvara to aknowledge the ban and to lift it for the reunification of Buddhist practitioners.

Thank you Rinpoche for sharing about what it really takes to have Guru Devotion : loyalty in the face of scorn.
Guru Devotion is loyalty to our guru who has given us teachings and a set of instructions and practices that he knows we need to tame our turbulent minds. Guru Devotion means holding our loyalty to our Guru steadfastly despite being scorned or reviled. We believe and trust our Guru no matter what.
Our guru has examined us and knows exactly what we need to tame our mind. Therefore, with respect, we pay homage to all practices given to us by him and hold them dear till our death.
Guru Devotion means enduring all samsaric beings’ hatreds and all the karmas that manifest ,while remaining steadfast to our commitment to our Guru, which is to hold the teachings within us, transform and benefit others. Guru Devotion means not abandoning our lineage, practice, instructions, yogas and protector at all cost.Guur Devotion means seeing the hatred manifest towards us due to our loyalty and diligence, as karmas arising to be purified.
Guru Devotion means that ,without the permission of our guru, we may not abandon any meditations, prayers, yogas and paths given to us by him. No other guru may override our guru’s instructions to us.

Reading this article bring tears to my eyes for I know of the scorn and pain that HE the 25th Tsem Rinpoche has to endure. At the same it is so very awesome to experience such Guru Devotion from Rinpoche to his Guru, HH Kyabje Zong Rinpoche.
It is illogical that people can blame a Lama like Rinpoche for any wrong doings in His faith and belief in His Guru’s teachings and empowerment.
The worship of Dorje Shugden is only one of the practices of Rinpoche, why has the rest been not acknowledged.
HE the 25th Tsem Rinpoche is one of the greatest Masters and Teachers who could teach on everything that would empower good virtues to be evoked by His students. A study of Tsemrinpoche.com (which is both a cyber temple and encyclopedia of diverse and powerful subjects) is evidence of His immense capacity as a Guru.
Over 8.5 million have read Rinpoche’s blog. And many have benefitted from the knowledge gained.
