Question asked by Ee Chuan Seng
Dear sir , in the current mind of me , perhaps as one awaken to own nature , one recognize he is emotion that travels in a natural process of constant changing and decreasing ….so holding on to something and own nature in mind is like trying to resist this natural process and that is the basis of suffering ….so my question is what is the reason you teach people about Buddhism ?
Dear Ee Chuan Seng,
Although our original state of mind is pure awareness, clarity and wisdom but lifetimes of negative karma obstructs us from realising this natural state of our mind. Hence, the Buddha who is ‘awakened’ to his original mind also realized that sentient beings need to be pointed the path towards awakening. Hence, we share the Dharma to point the way for modern practitioners to develop their own path towards awakening. I hope this helps you.
Thank you
