Don’t leave those who believed in you
People’s desire for sex, relationships and all that is such a downfall when all their energies is focused on this mainly. Their whole energy and mind is consumed with this until their mental ‘winds’ go off either temporarily or fully or permanently.. When their true friends and people who love them are abandoned and neglected because they only pursue this.. When their work and duties, spirituality, commitments, spiritual promises and works for the betterment of others are neglected for sex, relationship, chasing, intimacy and all that. It is tragic when our only concern in life is something as fragile as this. Then all that we treasure, love and all those that love us gradually are lost. We lose them, hurt them and abandon them or they finally go away. We in our blind chasing even forget the kindness, love, generosity and care we have received. We can somehow justify in our mind to avoid our conscience and humanity. We lose our logic, humanity, senses, gratitude and kindness in the pursuit of this elusive fake happiness….
Eventually whoever we are chasing or we are with will leave us or we leave them. All the emotions, time, energy spent is wasted. We see this and must realize this and rise above this. We have to rise above and not chase for the sake of pride, ego or deep loneliness. Deep loneliness will never be cured by a partner, sex or relationship. Never. It will only increase it.

A beautiful and powerful message
Well said and explained by Rinpoche ……Eventually whoever we are chasing or we are with will leave us or we leave them. We all should be grateful for what we have and for gratitude itself is a virtue. When we believe and trusted our friends , we appreciate them . Appreciating them will somehow makes them feel good and that it makes a difference to their lives. When we truly trusted them, we will never abandon them what ever happen.
Thank you Rinpoche for this profound teachings.
