Question asked by Jessi Bryant
Hello Rinpoche. I'm doing the Lama Tsongkhapa Guru Yoga and the reciting the 8 Verses of Mind Transformation as part of my daily practice. Thank you so much for them. I have one request though, if I may. There is so much information to choose from for newcomers, could you please tell me which texts I should read first? Thank you so much for your time.
Dear Jessi,
Yes there is so much information and this is what I recommend for you especially please:
1. Lama Tsongkapa biography
2. Guru Devotion written by Tsongkapa (ask my ppl for the name of title exaclty please)
3. Any books by His Holiness the Dalai Lama is superb.
4. Your bible should be ‘Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand’..should study this well. Meditate on this with your Tsongkapa practice.
5. Wheel of Sharp Weapons
6. Preparing for Tantra by Kensur Lobsang Tharchin
7. And any other books by Kensur Lobsang Tharching but not vy yet would be good for you…..
Those should help you for now.
