Question asked by Sofi
Dearest Rinpoche, I have the opportunity to listen to His Holiness the Dalai Lama's upcoming talk in Melbourne (in June). I am also seeking refuge with Rinpoche on Wesak day (hope that you are willing to accept me as your student). Hope to seek your advice as my Guru (if you'll have me) on whether I should take up this opportunity? Thank you so much for being here for us and I sincerely wish you the best of health and definitely as very long long long life.
Dear Sofi, Listening to dharma entails practicing what we have heard. This is the most important point. How much dharma we listen to is measured by how much we have truly transformed. His Holiness Dalai Lama is a living Buddha, but we must practice dharma from our hearts and actualize transformation. If we can truly do this, then dharma teachings real purpose is fulfilled. TR
