Powerful Training
(By Tsem Rinpoche)
What a beautiful picture and message from Paris (Jamie Khoo) sent me just a half hour ago. Gyabshi is a special puja for removing obstacles to one’s life, health and clears our thinking when overwhelmed with negative thoughts. It removes negative supernatural forces that normal means cannot expel. After a Gyabshi is done, one feels light, easy and very comfortable. One’s mind feels very at peace… Another very powerful puja from Gaden that Kecharians have learned from qualified monks. We are practicing here and I wish lay people to become masters of these ancient and powerful prayer rites which will benefit so many. I am very happy to see the training in progress today. I am so proud of Chia Song Peng my long time assistant whom I love as my own brother and the very intelligent, bright and strange (hehe) Paris training up our beautiful people. I am so proud of Kecharians. Good job everyone…keep it up..I know you will.

If given circumstances, I would love joining in to learn pujas. It’s a great way to generate merits and equipped ourselves with the necessary skills to help more in future.
Very interesting sharing of Gyabshi Puja For Removing Negative Energies. What surprise me, is the extensive offerings and rituals performed during this puja will generate an overwhelming amount of positive energy to clear very severe negativities and dangerous obstacles of health, financial or even supernatural causes.
Some of us may not realized could have offended spirits that they may harm us physically or mentally. This is really scary especially when we do not know where we can seek help. Learning and practicing this powerful puja would definitely benefits many, hope to join one soon.
Thank you for your thoughtful sharing of helping those in needs and reduce their suffering through dharma teaching.

Gosh this photo brings back many good memories for when I was still overseeing the puja training of Puja House. There’s something really incredible about being able to learn these old, sacred and deeply powerful pujas in a space that is so modern, so NOW. It’s kind of mindblowing to think that we get a chance to bring magic into our lives now.
As I am now working in Ladrang, the Pastors have taken over the puja training and will be conduct regular courses for people of different levels to learn up the puja, including preparation, torma making and set-up of the full offerings. Please enquire at the front desk now if you wish to join these training sessions. It’s quite wonderful to be able to learn something as powerful as this, which you can put into action anytime people need help. What a wonderful way to give back to the world and help others, with the simple but very profound power of prayers.
Before you start with these more complex rituals though and if you’re beginner, do join the weekly pujas at Kechara House which are on every single week and introduce people to all the fundamental pujas of our organisation. Once you learn these, you can even do them in your own home, and they provide a great foundation for learning the more complex ones (like Gyabshi, sheningdundok etc) later.
This is really interesting. Will there be a Youtube teaching on Gyabshi Puja sometime in future?
I really liked Rinpoche’s introduction to Lord Setrap practice on Youtube. Rinpoche is amazing.
Learning these lovely pujas which come with a lineage, our Ganden Lineage, gives one a sense of awe and reverence towards them.
Just imagine that pujas like these, which have, until now, only been performed by monks in the monastery, are being taught to us laypeople. What a marvellous opportunity to learn these prayers and rich rituals!
Hey everyone.
Yes, all these pujas are open to everyone to learn – this is why the monks came to train us, so we can share the puja with more people.
We are organising another training very, very soon. Please call me 016 323 9567 if you would like to be involved.
The only requirement is that you are committed to the puja and don’t just come in and not. There will be more requests for puja in the future, and it is a wonderful chance to do something beautiful for people who need help. So if people are not committed and don’t actually come to do the pujas, it won’t help the sponsors.
So, if you like pujas, are dedicated, love a challenge and want to be a part of this hugely precious lineage, CALL ME!

Such a powerfully puja is so fortunate to be a Kecharian. Is there any requirement in order to do this puja? I would like to involve in the puja.
Dear Shelly,
The only requirement is your commitment to attend the training classes 🙂
Call Jamie or Gim Lee for the next training session.
Thank you.

Thanks, I will do so
It is really wonderful that lay people are learning this powerful puja for removing of obstacles. We didn’t learn it just from any tom, dick & harry. We actually invited monks from Gaden Shartse to come to KL to teach a group of students this puja who learnt and teach more members and students.
Kechara is really working towards benefitting others with the blessing and guidance of H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. How lucky we are.
Thank you Rinpoche for making it possible for all us to benefit others in one way or another.
Hopefully one day these powerful and sacred puja or practices can be open and taught to the public and all other member that are interested in learning it ! alot people will surely join. I will be the 1st : )
Dear Ck Liew, you can go and learn. Just get yourself more involved with Kechara. It’s your spiritual home. TR

🙂 Gimlee
thanks a million gim lee. do let me know.
Super impressive to have such committed individuals who would dedicate their time and effort to learn these precious rituals and pujas.
I believe that this will bring Dharma practice to the next level where lay people feel the freedom to engage in sacred practices and have the ability to perform pujas that will benefit many.
Kudos to Kechara for empowering lay people to perform such sacred rituals!
I remember before we had KH2, back when Setrap used to be in KH1(the now KMP) Rinpoche mentioned that Kechara would be teaching the pujas as done in the monastery.
Here we are today, just as Rinpoche said, locals and lay people learning how to benefit others using traditional, authentic tried and tested rituals as done in Gaden Monastery.
Thank you Rinpoche for bringing these practices to Malaysia…
