Question asked by BeBe
I am new to buddhism and was watching a documentary on buddhism in Tibet. I saw statues of Guru rinpoche and was wondering what were the "benefits" of having a Guru rinpoche tsatsa, statue or picture on your altar are. Like for example lama tsongkhapa helps depressions and brings joy and prosperity.
All practices from the four lineages of Tibetan Buddhism are excellent and we encourage people to practice sincerely and be devoted to their own Lama and lineage. Here in Kechara, we do not practice Guru Rinpoche and will not be appropriate to comment much on this teaching.
best wishes
