I am reading the card and offering each of the items from Adeline Woon up to the Buddhas for her to gain merits and plant the seeds of bodhi mind.

Transcript:
Dear Rinpoche,
As a token of gratification and appreciation, as well as to set the best motivation for starting my dharma work at KH today, I would like to offer you Je Rinpoche’s box set, books, stupa to represent the enlightened body, speech and mind, in order to create the causes for all beings and myself to eventually achieve enlightenment for the benefit of others. I have also included here a Vajrayogini’s curved knife, 6 coasters, a straw mat (from Dajia, Taiwan famous with hand-made straw mat), mani & medicine pills blessed by Gyalwa Rinpoche representing the 4 nissaya of a bhikkhu. I wish for Rinpoche to always have full support in these four areas and the same for all beings, so that we can concentrate on learning and practicing the dharma every lifetime without worrying of their basic needs.
I have chosen Vajrayogini’s curved knife to represent the monk’s robes, wishing all beings to be protected from physical and mental harm, always have the merits to be ordained and to be in robes, each and every lifetime. The 6 coasters are used to represent food for all beings’ body, speech and mind, that we are always nurtured by and hungry for dharma. I have written each quality of the 6 paramitas on each coaster to create all necessary causes for all beings to continue to practice and elevate the 6 paramitas, so that we stop fixating on the self, rest in presence, continue to practice, not afraid of the truth, stop being dishonest and know directly how things are. The straw mat is representing the shelter that keep all beings close to the nature, appreciate and care for our environment without destroying it for selfish reasons. Lastly, the pills are representing medicines that cure all beings from being diluted by the three poisons, and that we all free from samsara.
Apart from this, I would also like to offer you the 10 calligraphy works done by Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh. Through this offering, all causes are created for beings to achieve vipassana, sati, sunyata and that Kechara, KFR, KWPC will be the contemporary Buddhist learning centre for all different buddhist schools, a place that practice religion harmony, and contribute consistently positive impacts onto humanity.
I humbly present these items to Rinpoche for your long life and continue to turn the wheel of dharma, also making sure that I have the best, non- bias, good intentions free from agendas in order to work in harmony with fellow Kecharians to bring dharma to all selflessly and timelessly.

What a wonderful gifts for Rinpoche from Pastor Adeline. Sometimes the simplest things mean the most. Pastor Adeline‘s thoughtful gift was fabulous and it have left a great aura of happiness and joy in Rinpoche’s heart. Even though its an old post , I rejoice for Pastor Adeline, as a lot of effort to get it done .

Wow! Such a well thought out gift! Just by looking at the gifts people offer to Rinpoche, we can see how Dharmic the person is and how much they value their Guru for they put the effort to think of a gift for their Guru… offering flowers are great, but gifts like what Adeline offered shows the extra effort she made.

Adeline’s thoughts are conceptual and creative because she cares to think. I like how she finds symbolism in every piece of offering she made; similar to Buddhist symbolism which is the use of Buddhist art/objects to represent certain aspects of Dharma. I will always remind myself on the things I have said in the card and will continue to work with and support Paul to bring dharma to others. These gifts that Adeline presented to Rinpoche show much care and thoughts that Adeline put in. Adeline took the time and efforts to pull many things together with each of them representing certain dharmic aspects.
