Going around town for doctors…
(By Pastor Loh Seng Piow)
For the past few days, H.E. Tsem Rinpoche has been following His long-time student cum Liaison of Kechara House Paul Yap to various clinics and hospitals. Paul Yap is suffering from lower-back pain, so Rinpoche wants to make sure that Paul gets thorough check-ups and accurate diagnosis, and Rinpoche also went all over the city, travelling for long hours in traffic jam to seek second opinions from other doctors to get the most effective treatment for Paul. Seen here is Rinpoche helping Paul to choose a pair of orthopedic shoes that will aid Paul to walk in a proper posture in order to heal his back. Rinpoche shows 110% care when it comes to taking care of others’ well-being. Real compassion in action. It is truly a blessing to have Rinpoche around us.

Wow i never knew there were such things as orthopedic shoes, it’ll be really good for Paul’s back for sure. Uncle Paul is a really good person and he works very hard in kechara with good intentions, hes a very meticulous person and when hes assigned a project he would give it a 110% and makes sure he gets it done. Rinpoche is always never failing compassionate for others especially to his students and takes care of them all the time. Rinpoche knows and understand Paul’s hardwork and wants to make sure for his well being. It is always so admirable for Rinpoche to take care of his students and his students wanting to take care of Rinpoche. I really pray for Uncle Paul’s well being and swift recovery. Both Rinpoche and Paul are suffering from lower back pain yet Rinpoche still make sure that Paul gets the right doctor and prescriptions so that Paul will be better and not suffer so much pain. Paul is a very hardworking person and even when he was in pain, he did his usual work without complaining. I truly hope that Rinpoche and Paul will get well soon from the treatments.
Such a precious teaching that goes directly to my heart. I can never sat thank you enough to Rinpoche and all of you for all the wonderful work you are doing together for the benefit of all beings
Paul is a perfect example as a leader with vision, hard working, caring and carries out his work seriously. He leads by example working hands on with this staff and those in need of his attention. Paul is truly an example of a true spiritual student who follows his Guru’s instruction, Tsem Rinpoche.
Paul deserves the care, kindness and attention from his Guru, as he is already of the same mind with his lama. Staff in Kechara House are also praying hard daily for the quick full recovery and for the right treatment to come from the doctors for Paul to return to us soon.
Paul is very hardworking, before Rinpoche knew about Paul’s condition, Paul would go for his treatment quietly and travel to KFR everyday despite the pain he is feeling. So much dedication in making sure his work and his people and well taken care of.
When Rinpoche knew about the condition Paul was in, Rinpoche arranged for the best treatment we have in Malaysia for Paul and also came along to talk to the doctors so that Rinpoche understands what’s happening to Paul. It is very touching whenever I see this picture, because how many of us have friend or even family that would care enough about us to follow us to the doctor’s clinic, learn about our condition, search for the best doctors in town, make sure you are well taken care of, make sure you get proper treatment? I believe, not even family would do that for us ungrudgingly
Dear Paul,
May your lower back pain will recover in a speedy manner.

Rinppoche is so caring. He knows that he doesn’t have to do this, but yet, he still does. Our guru is so kind to all of us. He just wants the best for us. And in this example, he wants us to stay healthy. Thank you Rinpoche for sharing.
Hi, Paul!
Here’s us wishing you a speedy recovery. May your back problems be gone soon.
Yours Respectfully, Sharon and kiddies.
The Guru/Disciple relationship is the highest expression of Friendship for it is based on unconditional Divine Love and Wisdom. It is said to be the highest and most sacred of all relationships. It is written ” A Guru will be your friend from now through eternity, no matter whether you are on the lowest mental plane or the highest plane of Wisdom. He will be your friend even if you should err, for then you will need his friendship more than ever at any other time. Bro. Paul as well as all of us have the good karma to be able to have a Guru like Tsem Tulku Rinpoche!
Dear Rinpoche, I know that Paul is having spine problem but I don’t know what happened to Paul. Because Paul suddenly have to sit on wheelchairs.I’m not telling Rinpoche to leave Paul just like that what I’m saying is that Rinpoche should take care of himself too
I hope Paul will get better soon with Rinpoche’s care and blessings.
I received a message from a facebook friend who recommended this Chinese sinseh:
From Mr. Tan: “If he happens to be in Penang, will introduce him to a famous Chinese Chi-Kung Sinseh who have cured my year long waist pain in 2/3 treatments. This Chi-Kung sinseh had cured many people who has had suffered from long term body pain due to various reasons. Worth trying, if doctors can’t cure the body pain completely and instead of having to depend on long term medication which is not only no good to our body but also continue suffering. He is already around 70 years old, do not simply give treatment to any stranger and want an introducer. Let me know if Paul Yap is interested.”
Rinpoche is such a caring man, and he will always look after people in need as much as he can. i hope uncle paul’s back injury heals in a blink of an eye, and i hope Rinpoche will live long so he can help, inspire and lead many more people in the future.

Rinpoche is always very concern about others Rinpoche compassion touch every one heart.

For what I know, Paul is a very hardworking person, despite his pain he still works very hard at KFR to make sure everything is fine. I think a lot of people do respect him for that. I hope Paul gets well soon!

Paul is always very helpful and he is a great leader. He works until he cannot work and even so, he still does! Rinpoche is his inspiration and guide and Rinpoche always cares for him. I rejoice for his hard work! I will keep Paul in my prayers!
Paul is a sincere, hardworking and devoted person.May Paul get well soon due to the blessing of Rinpoche and the three jewels. With folded hands.
Time and time again, Rinpoche’s compassion touches the lives of many.. In this case, Paul.
Rinpoche truly leads by example. Rinpoche’s compassion is so consistent and amazing that it inspire me every time to be compassionate to people and to be kind to everyone. especially so to those who are in Dharma.
Rinpoche’s compassion will always inspire me!
May Rinpoche live long and healthy to continue inspire so many others!
Thank you, Rinpoche!
And also, get well soon Paul! Take care.
Paul is a wonderful person, who always give helps to those who are in need, he have taken the responsibility as the head of multi departments. Paul is a real example of us and how should one make use of their precious human life to benefit others.
Like about 1 week ago, when Paul was in horrible pain from the back, he still insist to oversee work in Wisdom hall, Kechara Forest Retreat.
Rinpoche is very concern about Paul’s condition, and Rinpoche want Paul to heal from his pain as soon as possible. Rinpoche have invited Paul to stay in Tsem Ladrang temporarily, so we, the ladrang staffs can take good care of Paul.
Rinpoche also arrange Beng Kooi and few others to assist Paul and getting very good and well trained doctors to check on Paul and his back pain.
We are lucky to have someone like Paul, even though he have his family to take care of, and he have a lot of issues just like all of us, but he choose to be the light and continue to shine for others, he’s real inspiring for many.
May Paul get well soon.,
I will keep you in my prayers Paul. Hope your back gets better soon.
