Joy Kam
Being Rinpoche’s personal attendant means that I am able to witness real Dharma in action, both on and off the throne. I consider myself extremely fortunate, and at the same time it is also a great challenge to instil Dharma in my life 24/7.
Over the years I have witnessed many cases of how Rinpoche helped many people in both worldly and supramundane ways, so I decided to have these stories told in comic form for the wider audience. It is my wish that through these stories many will be inspired to achieve the state of compassion and attainments like Tsem Rinpoche, so that many more sentient beings can be helped.

Happy ending story of how Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden helped Joy Kam. This is one of the many miracle stories that Dorje Shugden has helped saving lives from sickness, accidents and so forth. Reading this story again as its simply amazing of how the miracles happened. When we truly have trust and faith on our Dharma Protector , it will help us nor matter what happen and help us regardless of race as well.

Miraculous a escape death from a car accident.A laptop bag given by Rinpoche two days before the accident that saved Joy .Well as if Rinpoche ,know something will hppened to her. Amazing…that very moment Joy visualised Rinpoche and the powerful protector as one that saved her from serious injuries.Have faith and trust all the way in our Guru always ,one will be protected. Joy was saved the third time by Rinpoche incredible.

This is really a miracle!!! Rinpoche is such a kind Guru that is able to protect his student.
I feel very fortunate that i am able to work as a volunteer at Kechara, and protected by 3 Jewels.

This is truly remarkable, I am so glad you are safe and unharmed. It was amazing how the laptop bag flew from the backseat all the way to the front protecting your head from being smashed against the window. Who knows what could have happened if Rinpoche hadn’t given you the laptop as a gift I never really second guessed Rinpoche clairvoyance, Rinpoche has always helped everyone around him whether they are a stranger or a close friend, Rinpoche has such an immense compassion that Rinpoche doesn’t judge anyone whom needs help and protection. I am glad you are safe and thank you for sharing with all of us this story.

Thank you Seng Piow sharing this true story.I am glad that Joy is safe from the car accident.Due to Joy’s sincere guru devotion and faith in protector,she manage to escape the accident with minimal injury.This story remind me again that we are so blessed to have Rinpoche in Kechara,we never waste our time since we have meet our real Guru.We should learn more and do more dharma works to benefits more others!!!
Thank you for the sharing Seng Piow.It is true that Rinpoche would take care and protect his students.For those who believe and follow the teachings ,they would be blessed and their prayers would be answered during urgent needs.
Rinpoche looks after his students in so many ways and especially those that have clean samaya (spiritual bond) with Rinpoche. Hence, we are all encouraged to develop this bond with Rinpoche and how do we create this bond? We ensure that we put into practice whatever we have learned through the teachings into practice. We must be sure that we do that not to get any sort of recognition or praise but really to just to please the lama. This must be real and not done half-heartedly or when the lama is looking or not. Students whether near or far can have clean or good samaya with Rinpoche and therefore create the conditions to receive protection and the Dharma Protector will always assist.

It’s a good thing that Joy followed Rinpoche’s instructions to the T. Her unshakeable faith in the Dharma protector and Rinpoche saved her from many nasty events.

The accident could have taken away Aunty Joy’s life, luckily she did what Rinpoche, which was to stay close to Rinpoche and that saved her life, glad that she is fine now. Rinpoche always knows what to give a person at his or her very fragile stage of life, so that the people would not suffer.

We should always listen to our guru advise and be hardworking in our dharma practise. It’s because a clean samaya and strong faith in our practise will directly reduce the impact of our ripen negative karma that we need to face in our life.
I am glad and feel very fortunate to have such a close relationship with Rinpoche, my Guru. For if not for Rinpoche and my Dharma Protector given to me by Rinpoche, I will not be around today. Physically and mentally. I thank Rinpoche from the bottom of my heart and I know I can never repay Rinpoche’s kindness except to only go all the way with Dharma.
My advice to others is to never make a mistake and think you can only do Dharma once you’re older or you’re business is better or when you’ve gotten this and that, never wait and think to much, just do it because… you may not even be alive tomorrow. Don’t waste time!
This accident also reinforces what I already know which is to trust your Guru 100%, even if you have no clue as to what is going on, just trust and follow instructions. This may sound mystical, but truth is Rinpoche is the only one who can help you at the time of death. I know this experience through my beloved husband and close student of Rinpoche, Justin Rinpley’s death. It was Rinpoche’s voice that guided him together with the protector to take him to a swift and good rebirth.

Your on a spiritual path not a holiday trip. Most of all know that a Guru is not someone you choose to stroke your ego, but someone you choose who is kind enough to show you your flaws that causes you to suffer. If you cannot listen and follow instructions and do not wish to continue, then leave nicely and do not need to make a huge fuss about it. You don’t value your Guru does not mean others don’t!
Dear Joy. Yr comments are so real and sincere it made me tear. You have gone through so much in yr life and Rinpoche was there with you every step of the way, ensuring you will be ok. This is such a great example of a very dedicated Guru who will never let his student fail if that student have faith and a good samaya with him. We are all very lucky to have met such a great Guru . It is because of her faith and devotion towards Rinpoche, Joy has created the cause to be protected and survived from the accident. To receive a gift from Rinpoche is a gift of blessings. It is so important that we keep our samaya clean so that we can receive our Guru’s blessings.

It is totally amazing how sometimes no matter how sometimes how bad a situation may be by just praying to Setrap and visualizing the Guru and Setrap as one could juat as well save a person’s life.
It really shows the full power Setrap has to even say someone such as Joy at the nick of time and I am really surprised at the gift that Rinpoche gave to Joy just 2 day before the accident was actually the lifebuoy that had saved Joy’s life.
It is somehow amazing to know that every gift that Rinpoche gives to people has a reason whether it is small or big.

I am glad that i am with Rinpoche and in Kechara,i would not be caring more about all sentient beings.
Without Rinpoche i would not have all the blessings and gifts that Rinpoche had given me.
Rinpoche has been the kindest person i have ever met in my life,i had never seen anyone as kind as Rinpoche.
dharma can make better life ,dharma can protec our life. we learn dharma from guru .guru can save our life bucause he is bhagawan. i still read rinpoche quote .dharma about us bringing harmony into our famillies, into our live and to the people we care about now.its dharma.thank you guru you are always right.

It is because of Joy’s faith and trust in Rinpoche’s advise to stay around that helped her to survive the car accident with only minor scratches. Rinpoche always care about us with teaching, guiding , protecting , advising , loving…. Thank you Rinpoche Kindness !
In a year, Rinpoche always give a lot of gifts to his students, the staff of Kechara, friends and even to people whom he has never met. Since day one, Rinpoche has never stopped giving out gifts.
The gift that Rinpoche give comes in a wide range, Dharma items to non Dharma items, you’ll be wondering how Rinpoche picked the gifts to the other party? Well, a true generousity is not someone who just give out gifts, but they give out gifts with plenty of thoughts over it that based on his daily observation. When someone received a gift from Rinpoche, they will ask a question: how come Rinpoche know I wanted this? Hehe, don’t be surprise, when in our daily life, through our action, speech and writings, Rinpoche will notice it all and registered for the gift in the future.
Beside this, Rinpoche also give gifts to his students, it’s purpose is to help them in their Dharma work, for example, Rinpche giving Handphones, so that his student can have a better phone to do social media, to take nice pictures and to send good updates about their work. This is just one of the example, there are many more gifts that Rinpoche give.
and another reason is as what it is posted in this comic, every gift that Rinpoche gifted, there comes with his blessing, there are many things that is going our way and we could not see it, then Rinpoche will give us that blessing to help us to overcome that situation. Joy is one real example of how Rinpoche saved her from being in serious injury, there are many more that I know / heard of.
Rinpoche’s detailness and care is really incomparable, and the most precious gift that Rinpoche gifted us among all these, that is Dharma and it’s practice, because of all these gift, we are able to understand where our suffering comes from. and through this gift, we are able to walk towards the better human path through the practice.

I totally agree wt u, Albert. Though i m not near Rinpoche, his gifts to me amazed me cos they were exactly what i had been looking around for. What more, they r what I like. Never underestimate Rinpoche’s care for his students n it is really upto us as to how we wish to place him in our hearts, a normal Guru or the Buddha Guru that he really is. I have actually heard this story before. I was so amazed i actually found it hard to believe when i heard it for the first time. Rinpoche truly is a life saver. I have heard many stories about Rinpoche saving lives, but i think this one really proves Rinpoche’s power. I had enjoyed reading this story Rinpoche. I hope that Rinpoche will post more of the stories up here for people to share.
Dear Rinpoche, I love reading all these Miracle stories and I have already finished reading all of them. There are two stories about my mother and one story about my uncle. Rinpoche has saved my mother and my uncle’s lives. There are many people who are very lucky to be alive is all because of Rinpoche.
It is really a miracle that the laptop bag flew from the back seat !!! And there was also no laptop in it. If not the laptop bag she would definitely suffer serious injuries. As the car landed on the driver’s seat.

I met an accident on June 2013, my car skid due to heavy rain at highway near Yong Peng. After 3 spin my car landed safely at the down hill beside the road. My car landed far away from the road, during spinning there is no car behind. The car stopped with the boot bam to the Pagar but not front to hit.2 airbags come out but it never hit me. All windows still in good condition. Thanks Guru and protector that help me landed without any injuries
