I'm interested in Dorje Shugden and His mantra as an EXCLUSIVE practice. As this Tibetan Buddhism can be very complicated and extensive. Just having Dorje Shugden as one's only deity and just chanting His mantra as one's exclusive Buddhist practice, seems to me, especially for common people, that it would be effective? I really don't have the time or self-discipline for anything else. Thank you.

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Tim,

Of course you can do Dorje Shugden’s mantra. Since Dorje Shugden is an enlightened being he can be relied upon without fault. As you seem to be drawn to this Dorje Shugden this will be very beneficial for you. You can recite the mantra and it will be effective as Dorje Shugden is the emanation of Manjushri.

Harold Musetescu

Happy New Year to you, Tsem Tulku and to all the Kecharians.

In my previous question I asked if I could have Dorje Shugden as my Yidam. I had asked this twice previous under the name Harold. All the answers were NO ("…Therefore as it currently stands Dorje Shugden cannot be practiced as a Yidam"). Now your most recent answer is YES "…he (Dorje Shugden) can be relied upon as a Yidam".
Since I can now have Dorje Shugden as my Yidam can you tell me if there is an "initiation, text, sadhana and commentary". If there is not one at this time I would suggest the following.
On dorjeshugden.com under the story line title of "Dharma Demystified: Dorje Shugden as a Yidam" it states in the last paragraph "What remains now is for a sincere practitioner to make the request to a qualified lama – a request that will benefit the world once it comes to fruition.".
In this article it also states "but one can meditate upon Dorje Shugden as a Yidam as well if a lama compose the necessary text….for Dorje Shugden to be regarded as a Yidam".
Finally it states " The previous Kyabeje Pabongka Rinpoche …Since the other great sadhanas were composed by attained lamas of the past, therefore an attained lama like Pabongka Rinpoche or Trijang Rinpoche could also compose the initiation text, sadhana and commentary on how to meditate on Dorje Shugden as a Yidam. Interestingly, Dorje Shugden would be the first Yidam to be a worldly form".
I would like you now formally request you Pastor to ask H.E. Tsem Tulku to request on my behalf either Pabonka Rinpoche or Trijang Rinpoche to compose the initiation text, sadhana and commentary on how to meditate on Dorje Shugden as a Yidam.
I request this for all the followers of Dorje Shugden around the world. To now have Dorje Shugden as our Yidam and not just a Dharma Protector would be of the greatest benefit for all of us and the world.

dear pastors, just a simple question. i bought a buddha pendant from a shop near petaling street. can i know how can one bless/cleansed a pendant by oneself? thank you

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Alex,

It would be advisable if you could get the pendant blessed by the Sangha or Kechara Pastors.

Alternatively, when you do your daily prayers you can visualize the Buddhas dissolving into the pendant and it becoming blessed this way. Actually even just wearing the holy image of a Buddha blessed you and plant imprints in the minds of those who see it.

Rinnpoche to practice setrap long time a go and strangely in middle of the wrath me and him we found each others . I like to be able to come at Kechara and reseave setrap empowerment at the moment my finance are up and down and I don't what do I take that the wheel of sharp weapon coming back at me and I try to be more compassionate and I carry on doing setrap.

my question is I have tantric empowerment in past, can i practice setrap tantricly ?

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Thomas,

This section is actually answered by the Kechara Pastors. Yes if you have received an appropriate tantric empowerment in the past you can practice Setrap the tantric way. As far as my memory serves me His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche has not bestowed the Setrap Sogtae (empowerment/life-entrustment) publicly in Kechara before. It is not necessary to have received this to practice Setrap.

However, since you have received tantric empowerment before, you should approach you own lama first to teach you more about your own Dharma practice and how the Dharma Protector practice fits in to it. It is always advisable that our lama gives us our practices. If appropriate and you want to learn more about Setrap, you can request your lama for teachings.

Harold Musetescu

I just ask a question below about could Dorje Shugden be my complete practice. I had also asked in the past if he could be my yidam practice and you told me no. On dorjeshugen.com please type in "A pray by he current reincarnation of Drakpa Gyalsten" dated May 25,2013. In his prayer the opening line of the 6th paragraph he states "Your as my BUDDHA, my YIDAM, my GURU, my PROTECTOR". If the current reincarnation of Dorje Shugden see Dorje Shugen as a BUDDHA, YIDAM, GURU and PROTECTOR" should not we his followers see him as that also. Please ask H.E. Tsem Tulku if he could personally answer this most serious revelation by the current reincarnation of Dorje Shugden. I don't think that there can be a higher authority on what Dorje Shugden can manifest as then then his current reincarnation.

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Harold Musetescu,

Since Dorje Shugden is a enlightened being he can be relied upon as a Yidam. This is because he abides in great bliss and emptiness. These two are just some of the qualities of a fully enlightened Buddha.

Harold

If you have received the empowerment for Dorje Shugden do you "need" to also have a "Yidam" practice? Could you just do Dorje Shugden as your only practice or "must" you also have a Yidam.
I feel that all that I need is the Dorje Shugden practice and nothing else.
Thank you

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Harold,

I really like your question. In order to receive the Dorje Shugden Sogtae (empowerment/life-entrustment) you must necessarily have received a Highest Yoga Tantra empowerment beforehand. This is usually a Yamantaka empowerment, but can be any other Highest Yoga Tantra empowerment as well. Traditionally, you would begin practice sessions beginning with the Guru Yoga and Yidam practice before the practice of Dorje Shugden. What occurs is that you invite Dorje Shugden into the mandala of the yidam, and then request his help and assistance. This is the same with any other Dharma Protector.

To clarify the difference between a Yidam and a Dharma Protector. Yidams are meditation deities, through whose practice we are able to gain enlightenment by engaging in daily sadhana and retreats. Dharma Protectors eliminate obstacles and provide protection so that we can engage in Dharma practice. Therefore the two “functions”are somewhat different. That being said, through compassion Manjushri has emanated in the form of Dorje Shugden, they are in essence one and the same mind.

Eli Levine

Good morning Pastors,

Thank you for your extremely fast response to my previous questions!

Let me first say that I do see my other potential future lifetimes ahead of me and I feel no peace either, as they are all essentially the same problems throughout all of time, space, and existence as a whole. I don't look forward to my possible future lifetimes and I don't see how being a Buddha means that I am "out" of suffering, since the essence of Buddhas remain in all of us throughout all of time, space, and existence. How did Shakyamuni Buddha leave existence when the information he transmitted is still around, his physical corpse disintegrated into the fire/Earth/air, and his nature living on in all of us for eternity?

My other confusion surrounds whether or not I am Enlightened at this point. I feel Enlightened, but I am hesitant to call myself completely Enlightened because I cannot trust my human brain to discern between ego and the real feeling of Enlightenment. My question is how can one be beyond doubt that they are Enlightened, if people who are near and far aren't qualified to discern their Enlightenment? As a human, how does one know that their ego is gone, since the consequences are so grave for everyone if someone claims something they really are not?

Again, thank you so much for your guidance. If you'd like, you may send an email to elevine89@gmail.com to continue this conversation in a format that is more conducive to thorough answers. You can also ask Wan Wai Meng for my WhatsApp information if you'd prefer that.

Thank you so much for your work!

Eli Levine

Good evening Pastors,

Thank you for your reply, it was helpful. However, I'm still wondering how one can self-check as to whether or not they are on a good path or already are Enlightened? I've had many people in my life play key roles in developing who I am. However, every one of them has shown their human qualities, which makes me doubt them at times, and forces me to rely on my own highly critical judgment of myself. I feel as though I will never really be at peace until I am dead, no matter how many spiritual or worldly accomplishments I achieve in this lifetime. I know that this is the condition of living in existence, and it is the fate of all living beings in the universe. But to me, it feels awful, and the good things that I experience have this foul feel to them of impermanence or superficiality. I know I ultimately cannot help anyone but myself, even though I would love to be able to help anyone and everyone in the best manner that I can, which further sours this place because I can only help beings at their slowest pace possible. Please, how does one develop confidence in their own Buddhahood and/or their present state of Enlightenment?

Your words may be able to put a great deal to rest within me. I was born into this world in the usual fashion (no dreams of elephants, virgin births, or prophecies for me), and I don't like feeling like I won't be truly at peace until the natural or unnatural ending of my life. Hopefully you can help (I know you're going to try, at the very least). Thank you so much! Happy Solstice.

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Eli Levine,

Happy Winter Solstice to you too! I like your question. Let me give you a short answer first…if you were enlightened then you would know you are enlightened. So…if you asking this question, then like me, you are probably not enlightened. That is not say you are not on the path to be so.

Let me address your question point by point. The first part is about key people in your life showing their human qualities. Now, i’m not sure if by this you mean spiritual teachers or similar, but I will take it as such. We all hear that certain spiritual teachers, lamas, etc, are enlightened and certainly they have enlightened qualities in them for sure, but the form in which they are in are bound by human constraints. As such it can seem that are not enlightened but are in actual fact very human. They can also test students by acting and behaving in certain ways, to see how the students have actualised transforming their minds. However in any case, having a human form means that they can portray very human qualities, but one thing to remember most importantly is how we react to these instances. The measuring stick of our spiritual journey is how we react to these situations, what we do and how we think about them. This can lead to judgment of oneself, but instead of focusing on the negative, the aim of spiritual practice is to instigate a very powerful shift that occurs when we focus on ways to make things better, make things positive. When this shift occurs, we actually become beneficial agents in the world instead of being caught up in our own self-judgement. No matter how much knowledge a person has on the spiritual path, you cannot progress on the spiritual path without initiating that focal shift away from self-critical thoughts towards living the teachings through action and effort.

You said that you will not be at peace until you are dead, and this is in fact not true. Why is that? Because you haven’t yet been able to make the mind shift away from concentrating on this life, to realizing that you have many more lives in front of you. In the Lam Rim it says that at the beginning stages of practice we must think about and contemplate the fact that we have many future rebirths. In doing so we begin to realize that in all those lives, you will feel exactly as you do now…that life is suffering. This is the first of the Four Noble Truths taught by Shakyamuni Buddha. Knowing this coupled with the fact you feel the impermanent nature of phenomena, should actually propel you to do more, to help others more. We progress on our spiritual path when we concentrate externally to the needs of other sentient beings, rather than internally into our own selves. What you are feeling is perfect actually, but you just don’t see it. You are an example the first Noble Truth, that there is suffering. Now you should try to understand the second, the causes of sufferings (our self-deluded mind), that suffering end as with all phenomena, and that the path out of this suffering is through the spiritual path.

As for developing faith in your own spiritual development, as enlightenment is a stage to be reached, not something that occurs in stages, there are many ways of gauging your progress. The first I would say, is how have you noticed your mind reacts in certain situations. In the past, would you have reacted to the situation in a negative way? Rather than using the experience to delve deeper into your own state of self-pity, self-centeredness, have you used the situation to change yourself to be someone better. Traditionally there are many ways of gauging one’s spiritual path. If you want to know more about this you can read up on the Bodhisattva-Bhumi’s or the 10 stages of a Bodhisattva. I hope this helps!

Desperate

Please help. I feel so tired of life being the sole provider of the family. What can I do to live a more meaningful life? I can't join any religious centre because I don't have the time and money which will cause others to look down on me. What else can I do so that I don't have to suffer like now in my future lives. Can I do anything on my own without seeking help?

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Desperate,

I am sorry to hear that you feel like this. You are right that life is suffering as the Buddha taught. But what you must not forget is that the Buddha also taught us the cure to this suffering, which is practicing the Dharma. When we practice the Dharma, we can overcome our suffering and pain in life, and are able to do something more positive with our lives.

Time and money shouldn’t be factors on your spiritual path. Yes, i understand that you may be very busy at work to provide for your family but you must make time to focus on your spiritual journey. if you do not then you won’t get anywhere and still be stuck feeling like this.

For a start you begin the practice of Lama Tsongkhapa. This practice is very beneficial. This practice can help to calm the mind, easing the worries of life if engaged in properly. It is a short practice compared with many other Buddhist practices. Once you have a good foundation in this, you can continue to learn other teachings that will help you for sure.

There is a commentary to this practice by H.E. 25th Tsem Rinpoche available here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/me/tsongkapas-daily-practice-video-commentary.html

Alex.

Dear pastors. I have two questions. The second is more to opinion.
1) my friend told me that everytime he went to a temple (buddhist temple), be it chinese or that or tibetan center. He doesn't know the chants (such as the praise of the buddha dharma and sangha), he just know pali chant. Can he do that? After he chanted that he will chant chenrezig mantra. He means that he mix chanting pali and mantra?
2) this regarding my own. I went to a vajrayana center. Often i go there as its near to my house. Two years ago, the center organised a fund raising project. There are few things that "sell" and we donate some money (as we like). I saw a small statue of the buddha and in my wallet only left less than rm20. I can't give all as i need some for my way back home. So i donate rm10. The one who incharge told the chairman and she (the chairman) said ok. So she gave me the statue. Not long after that someone from the center asked me to return back the statue as i paid so little. As i return back they look at me "one kind". And gave me a picture instead. Ever since that incident, each time i go there, they still look at me one kind and when i want to purchase something, the chairman will say "wah..this time got money to pay hah. " i take this as a joke, deep in my heart i know what she mean. It hurts a lot. Why a buddhist center members have such manners? Isn'r it they have to be more kind to others? What should i do? Stop going to the center or you have any suggestions? Tashi delegs.

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Alex,

    1) Regarding your friend, there is absolutely nothing wrong in doing this. He is doing as best he can as he does not know the actual chants. However there are two points i would like to mention. The first is that the blessings of the lineage stemming from Buddha Shakyamuni, as with all Buddhist paths is strongest when following a particular lineage. If your friend has already taken refuge with a particular teacher formally or through faith, then he should adhere to the teachings of that teacher. Each lineage can lead to enlightenment but if you mix lineages confusion on the path can arise. Therefore i suggest that your friend try to adhere to one particular lineage, whatever lineage he feels comfortable with. The second is if your friend is serious with his spiritual path, he should put in the effort to learn the prayers, chants, and practices of the particular lineage he has chosen. All Buddhists work towards the same ultimate goal, to achieve the Body, Speech and Mind of a Buddha, but there are many paths to get there. If we stick to one path and strive along that one path, we will reach our goal.

    2) As for this situation, unfortunately this can happen in some centres. This is not to say that this centre is bad, or the person who did this is bad. And yes, you can be hurt. But practicing Buddhism, we should always think about the other person as well. When we are afflicted physically or emotionally by others, instead of being self-absorbed we should think about the others person. I’m not condoning this sort of behavior but just giving advice what we can do in situations like this and others in which we feel hurt. Perhaps this particular centre is short of funds but you don’t know about it? Perhaps instead of holding this hurt, you can try to understand why this happened and then do something. If they are short of funds, perhaps help them to fund-raise or volunteer your time. People often forget that Buddhist centres usually rely on funds from the public to stay open. All situations we come across, even if we are hurt, we can change to something positive. I hope this helps.

Eli Levine

Good evening Pastors,

I'm reading a book on Medicine Buddha practice, and it occurred to me that there is no essential way out of the universe, even if there is a way out of suffering. Hinayana seems to make it more difficult to get out of suffering, Mahayana ultimately leads to the Bodhisattva path, which means the mind voluntarily stays in existence with others, and Vajrayana leads to Buddhahood, which seems to be the ultimate nature of the universe itself. How does one cease being born if all three vehicles ultimately leave you in the universe, even if you're not experiencing suffering through those vehicles? Just as in physics, where matter, energy, and information are all conserved in the universe, neither being created nor destroyed, how can it be said that anyone truly ceases to be reborn? Where does their energy and information go if they truly achieve full Buddhahood and cease to be reborn?

Your clarification on these and other points are extremely helpful! Have a great rest of the year. 🙂

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Eli Levine,

I’m glad you asked this questions, its a very good one. The fundamental differences between the three “yanas” is both of motivation and also results. For example:

    – Hinayana/Theravada: The motivation here is to escape from cyclic existence, thereby overcoming all forms of suffering. In this case we are “removed” from the universe.

    – Mahayana: The motivation here is to progress on the spiritual path towards complete enlightenment but to hold back on the cusp, in order to emanate back into the universe (existence) to benefit others.

    – Vajrayana: to achieve enlightenment in the quickest possible time (actually achievable in 3 years, 3 months and 3 days). However this is done from a Mahayana motivation.

In actual fact there are only 2 “yanas” – Hinayana and Mahayana. Vajrayana is actually a branch of Mahayana, therefore is not separate from it.

From the questions you’ve posed, you actually equate cyclic existence with our universe. But the universe and all that it involves, including all forms of energy, etc IS cyclic existence. Therefore logically, when you overcome cyclic existence, you overcome the limitations of the universe.

When you achieve complete Enlightenment or even the 10th (last) Bodhisattva level, you have already completely overcome cyclic existence, therefore everything that is involved in the universe, such as energy etc. I hope this helps. Let me know if my answer is not that clear, its a little hard to explain all of this in a short space such as this.

    Dear Dolma Lili brussels

From what you have written it is clear you are struggling with a lot at the moment. In order to deal with these sorts of situations we need to think about the situations logically and with a clear mind. When our minds are overcome by emotions, we cannot do this efficiently.

If i may, i would like to suggest you engage in the practice of Lama Tsongkhapa strongly. This practice will help you to calm your mind and get control over your emotions, after which you can deal with your life situations with some form of good control.

There is a commentary to this practice by H.E. 25th Tsem Rinpoche available here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/me/tsongkapas-daily-practice-video-commentary.html

There is also a written commentary and a box set for this practice available at Kechara Paradise outlets in Malaysia and online worldwide at http://www.vajrasecrets.com.

If you engage in this practice correctly then your mind will be calm. Once done then you can start dealing with your life situations in an efficient manner. I hope this helps.

Observer

I observe that in a lot of Buddhist centres, a member needs not only to help out but also make monetary donations. These has deter some people from joining because I have come across people who can help out but don't have extra money to contribute being looked down by others in the centres and most of the times left out. I feel this should not happen as Buddhism is for everyone rich or poor and yet its members segregate people because of money although I know a centre also needs money to run.

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Observer,

You are right in your observation. But there is a major factor that you need to keep in mind. Buddhist centres/organisations have to support themselves in order to be able to help others through teaching the Dharma and providing the necessary facilities for the practice of Dharma. For this to happen, as per tradition, these centres/organisations need sponsorship or other avenues to support themselves. Dharma centres are not profit making institutions, like other charitable organisations, therefore are reliant on others.

However, sponsorship of a Dharma Centre is not the only way people can help show their support. Those who have the time and capability can help in many other ways, such as helping to clean the centre, volunteering in various departments, and in many other ways to show their support.

You are right that some Dharma Centres do insist on members contribute with sponsorship, but you can understand the reasons why. This may indeed deter some people. But in other cases, such as in Kechara, this is not the case, we provide many outlets for people to show their support and do not charge for the majority of our weekly prayers and events, but rely on the kindness of our members and friends to support us as they will. I hope this helps.

Eli Levine

Good (morning) Pastors,

Thank you for your quick and effective response to my last question, It was very helpful.

I was wondering what the Buddhist stance is on the Hindu yugas, specifically, the present Kali Yuga that we seem to be in? How does Buddhism fit into the grand scheme of the universal motions, according to Buddhism? Could Buddhism be a path to achieving Enlightenment (moksha) within the present Kali Yuga? Buddha seems to have been born at about the beginning of the Kali Yuga, could that have something to do with brining about the eventual end of the Kali Yuga?

I'm seeking clarification because, judging from world events, it does appear to be the degenerative age that is predicted in the Mahabharata, considering the actions of governments and people in aggregate. I wish I could bring an end to the Kali Yuga, if not for my sake, for all others' sake, yet I'm not sure whether I will be contributing significantly to its ending or whether any one person has the capacity to end the Kali Yuga. I'll standby your response. Thank you!

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Eli Levine,

The Hindu system of the yugas, mirrors the Buddhist system of the yugas in some respects. Both systems are based on cyclic existence therefore the yuga system exists in both. You are right that we are in the Kali yuga, usually withing Buddhist translations this is called the ‘degenerate age’, you may come across this term in Buddhist texts. The historical Buddha Shakyamuni did indeed live towards the beginning of this degenerative age, as you have rightly said.

As for the place of Buddhism within the universal motions as you have put it, is as follows. In certain ages Buddhas will appear and teach the Dharma, they are titled “Samyaksam Buddhas” following this the Dharma will benefit sentient beings in that age, until as with all phenomena within cyclic existence it disappears. Following this there are periods of existence when there is no Dharma. Followed by a period when a Buddha will appear and teach again.

Of course, all Dharma teachings can lead people to Enlightenment. This is even the case within the Kaliyuga we live in. And the teachings are even more important in this age, as the panacea to the sufferings we all face.

As for the end of the Kaliyuga, no one person or group has the capacity to do this. It simply cannot be done, as if it were possible the Buddhas would have ended cyclic existence a long time ago. As long as sentient beings have karma there will always be cyclic existence. The aim of the Dharma is not to speed up or end the various yugas but to transcend them altogether by becoming a fully Enlightened being, and then helping others in cyclic existence to do the same. Thus there is no way that a single person or group of people can end the Kaliyuga. I hope this helps.

Eli Levine

Good evening Pastors,

I was wondering how karma works? I get that all actions that I do have consequences and that all experiences I have are the result of my own karma. My question is how is it that my karma is not dependent upon and entangled with other people's individual karma? In other words, how is it that I pay for other people's poor choices and vice versa? Is my karma dependent upon how I respond to others' choices and vice versa? I'm not seeing a definitive "I" or "me" in anything in the universe. Yet how is it that "I" have absolute control and power over my own karmic destiny. But how is it that I affect others' karmic destiny or am affected by others' karma? It seems that we are all of the same entity. But how is my karma not bound to others' and others' to my own? Clarification on these points would be much appreciated.

Thank you so much for your time!

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Eli Levine,

Karma is more complicated that as you have suggested above. There are many categories of Karma actually, three are listed below:

    1. Individual Karma
    2. Group Karma
    3. Environmental Karma

Therefore you do have karma that is entangled with that of others. Karma is not so individualistic as most people think. But the key point here, is how you react to situations that arise due to these interconnected karmas. If you are in a situation at work, where your whole team is under a boss that is very demanding and generally not very nice, you all have the group karma to work with this person, however, this does not mean you all have to react in the same exact way to this situation. It is up to you to react to the situation, though you may obviously be influenced by your team mates. But ultimately it is up to you.

To learn more you should read the sections on Karma in the great Lam Rim texts, such as “Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand” These explanations of Karma will provide you with a better and overall explanation of Karma, more than I would be able to do here in this short space as the questions you have asked are very vast indeed. I hope this helps.

Help

I have been chanting Dorje Shudgen mantras n other mantras as well for a jobless member of my family to get a job as well as sponsoring 2 Pujas (I can't afford more as I am the sole provider of my family) for him. But nothing happens. What else can I do? I m so desperate that I want to seek help from the deities who are unenlighten beings. My financial burden is reaching breaking point soon. Why, why can't the Buddha's help us? Any job will do as long as it can buy food to feed the stomach.

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear Help,

There are a number of reasons why he cannot get a job. Mantras, prayers and pujas all actually do work but the help of the enlightened beings depend on our karma and our own efforts to overcome the effects of our karma.

I would suggest that he engage in practices that purify negative karma such as Vajrasattva practice (https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/prayers-and-sadhanas/an-important-purification-practice.html) or 35 Confession Buddhas. This should be coupled with the practice of Dorje Shugden, so that the prevailing karma can be purified.

But together with this, karma is made by action. Therefore it will take effort on his part to purify his karma not to have a job, and also effort to look for a job. When doing this then the enlightened beings will definately manifest to help the situation. I hope this helps.

If not what deities and protector included when we practice or take refuge in green tara? Can you elaborate the entourage of green Tara just like you elaborate the entourage of shudgen? Tq in advance.

  1. 提问者 pastor

    Dear G,

There retinue of Tara can be different depending on which lineage of practice you follow. As far as I know H.E. 25th Tsem Rinpoche has not given any teachings on the retinue of Green Tara, or if H.E. has i’m sorry but i have not received those teachings. Perhaps you can leave a comment on one of the blog posts on Tara, requesting H.E. to teach about the retinue. This section is actually answered by the Kechara Pastors.

欲知详情,请联系 house@kechara.com

世界各地读者对“There’ s No Way But Up”一书的热烈反应推动黎国圆继续撰写其他著作,包括尼泊尔朝圣指南《Vajrayogini and other Power Places in Nepal》(金刚瑜伽母及尼泊尔其他圣地)、短篇故事集《Tales My Lama Told Me》(上师告诉我的那些传说)以及关于情感关系的《Conversations in Love》(亲密对话)。

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer
