Good evening Pastors.

One more question (for now). How does one get rid of memories of past relationships or people you genuinely loved and cared for? Almost 6 years ago, as of today, I met a woman whom I fell in love with, but who didn't love me in return. I've tried correcting all of my actions whenever she has reentered my head, and yet nothing has helped get rid of her memory or what I would consider sincere love for her. I have ceased communicating with her, out of respect for her needs and wishes and I'm afraid to even look at her now in real life or through photographs. Yet I cannot stop feeling and thinking about her, all the same, and I would love for this pain to stop.

Please, what is causing this pain to arise? I know the standard answer is some form of attachment or influence of some past karma. However, all the other women I have had feelings for have slipped away in time naturally. This one is lingering quite potently in my thoughts and feelings. How does one eliminate this kind of root attachment?

Again, I have broken off contacting her and have not communicated to her properly in almost 6 years, yet I'm still being attacked by feelings for her and wanting her. What can I do to stop this, considering how long it's been? Your help would be significantly appreciated.

    Dear Eli Levine,

    All pain or suffering arises from delusions. The only way out of suffering is to overcome your delusions, in this case, your attachment to this lady. As a Dharma practitioner, you should know that everything, including relationships, is impermanent. You can meditate on death and impermanence or the ugliness of the human body.

Dear Dharma Masters,
What does buddhism state about suicide? I have been reading contradicting contents in many places. Some seem to be taking a Hindu or Islamic stand that life is sacred and one does not have the right to meddle with it. Isn’t suicide itself a result of evil past karma of various kinds? The fact that one had killed or tormented many beings makes one end his or her life is more convincing, although insensitive.

    Dear Adtya,

    In Buddhism, suicide is morally and spiritually wrong as it is encouraged by a mind that is filled with delusions (attachment, hatred and ignorance). Taking one’s own life only causes greater suffering. If one dies in a confused and frustrated state of mind, it is unlikely he/she would be reborn in good conditions. Whether suicide is caused by evil past karma is not the point. The point is, in this lifetime, the person has not learned to face his/her problems and take responsibility, not to blame others for their problems, but to learn and understand the nature of existence and to lead a moral and meaningful life. Suicide is not condoned in Buddhism as it leads to further suffering.

Pastors, Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I have had to work without an official lama all of my life. I have had many teachers, but no lama to work with. How does one find their lama, if there is one in this lifetime? How can I find a lama, especially if I am highly skeptical of them?

I want to help others. I want to bring Dharma into the secular world, especially in governments and societies. How can I go about this?

    Dear Eli Levine,

    “Lama” means “guru” in Tibetan Buddhism. You might want to discuss with your teachers how to bring Dharma into the secular world. The situation in your country is different and you should know better whether it’s possible to introduce Buddhism into Government departments and agencies there. Look at the types of courses offered to civil servants in the ministries, for example. Some may allow meditation courses but unless one is in a country where Buddhism is part of the mass consciousness, I doubt whether Dharma teachings will be allowed. Sorry, I can’t help you much in this area.

Dear Pastors/Dear Rinpoche, a few months ago strange problem appeared to me. While chanting mantras I started to bend my month and pronounce them in a ridiculous but almost totally uncontrollable way. Is there a solution to this problem as now I can’t say normally many many mantras. I can say normally without lisping only a few mantras. I have commitment to say 6 mantras and I’m lisping all of them very bad now. I don’t know what should I do. This lisping even started to transfer to my everyday speech and I can’t say big amounts of the above necessary for me mantras… I hope this is not a curse or something like that…

    Dear Padma D,

    I suggest you consult your lama or senior members in your temple or centre as soon as possible. Take refuge in the Three Jewels and follow the advice given.

Dear Pastors,

If i am not wrong, i got in this way that the Dharma is the main thing that can integrate everyday work to wisdom. I took in that way that we can transform everything we do into dharma. But when i actually come along in reality i really cannot make those works of college dharma, or i feel like i am not able to find a good balance. I don't feel like to do the college works and that put me into confusion. How to maintain that Balance? and here i cannot set-up an altar, so what other practice of offering will equal the proper offering we do by setting proper altar?

    Carry a portable altar with you and do your prayers where it is convenient. I have seen very beautiful small portable altars. They are boxes that contain the body, speech and mind of the Buddha as well as incense for offerings. Do check out the Dharma stores in your city.

Dear Pastors,

My burning question is, how to deal with the loneliness in practice. Im a introverted girl and since months ago something happened to me and then my mother forbid me to be a buddhist, I have lost my only and best friend. She used to believe in Buddha and we used to study together but now she has converted herself to another religion. Every time I think of her my heart will sink. For some reason I have to pretend to follow her belief and so long it has driven me almost crazy. No friend of mine knows what actually happened and even if they know no one will understand .

The feeling of being unbearablely lonely always attacks me and when such moment falls I feel Im so far away from my guru. I have no idea how to pray at that time. All I can feel is just loneliness and helplessness.

Im not sure if I have made myself clear as my English is not so good. Thank you in advance.

    Dear Jingyi,

    I suggest you speak to a counsellor or a senior student in your centre. Tell them what happened and ask for advice. It is no use feeling sorry for yourself. If you are still keen to remain a Buddhist, you must overcome your problems by learning the Dharma and applying it to your life. Attend Dharma classes and do Dharma work to repay the kindness of your guru. This is the way to feel close to your guru – through your Dharma practice.

my father forbids me to say mantras. what to do? he tells I'm crazy because I say mantras 4-5 hours a day. he thinks I'm a parasite because I don't work and I do nothing but to watch dharma talks and say mantras.

    Dear Padma D,

    If you are staying with your father, or other family members, you must be respectful of their feelings. Try to be more discrete when you watch Dharma talks or recite mantras so as not to disturb the people in the house. You can recite your mantras in your Dharma centre if you go to one or in a temple. As a Dharma practitioner, you have to be mindful of others’ feelings and not create disharmony. Be loving and kind to your father who has brought you up and looked after you. Act responsibly and repay your father’s kindness. Go and get a job and contribute towards the family’s expenses. When he sees the change in you, he will not mind you watching Dharma talks and reciting mantras.

Good afternoon Pastors! I hope you're all doing well, wherever you are. I have a question that I was hoping you could answer: how does one achieve their full potential or destiny within their lifetime? I want to teach the Dharma/science of governing and governance (after researching what that actually would mean, of course). I'm just not sure I'll do everything that I can do to help others in this lifetime. What do you think/feel about this? How does one conquer all and live up to their full potential?

    Dear Eli Levine,

    There is a “path” that one needs to follow to achieve one’s full potential. The “goal” may be different for everyone. Therefore one needs to set the goal and work towards it. If one is diligent and puts in the effort, there is no reason why one cannot realise it even within their lifetime. I feel you should go for it if that’s what you want and it’s beneficial for others but you should be able to apply it also to yourself. How does one conquer all and achieve one’s full potential? This is not easy but it is possible, judging from the life stories of those who have made it.

    I’m not sure how one can combine Dharma with governance. Governance is a secular activity. If you intend to apply governance to Dharma practice which is a spiritual acitvity, it might not work due to the many variables involved. Every individual is different and practices according to his/her level of attainment. Only the very few can actually realise the goal in one lifetime. That’s probably because they have been practising in their previous lives and they are realising their full potential in the present lifetime. If you are following a lama, it would be better to consult your lama first and discuss the details with him/her.

Is it possible that one can meet there biological father or mother or any Other in this life time if they died many years ago or even in this life time? What I mean to say is .. I feel strongly that my father who died in 1973 has come back and he is living now in The USA . I feel he has reincarnated twice since I've known him. I feel his last life was short lived and in this life time he is almost thirty years old.

I guess what I'm getting at is that I wish to say I am a believer in reincarnation but I need to know from a buddhist point of view is what i am experiencing is something real or has happened to another being and is there someone in the celestial realm I can pray to to get some
Clarity and peace of mind.

    Dear Nitya,

    There are many independently verified stories about people, Buddhists and non-Buddhists, who remember their past lives and who have met their biological father or mother from their previous lives. These stories are real and reincarnation or rebirth is a fact. From your description, it is only a feeling that you have, and you have not provided proof that your father has been reborn in the USA. From the Buddhist point of view, every living being has taken rebirth countless times in samsara. Buddhists believe that all sentient beings have been our mothers, fathers, siblings, relatives, friends, enemies, etc. for many, many lifetimes. What you are experiencing may or may not be real and even if you find your biological father from a previous life, he is a completely different person now. People die and they never come back as we know them. Due to karma, your best friend in a past life may be reborn as your enemy in this life and vice versa. To have clarity and peace of mind, we must develop a balanced attitude referred to as “equanimity”. Equanimity is an unbiased attitude, free of feelings of hatred towards our enemies, attachment towards our friends and indifference towards total strangers. In Buddhism, all sentient beings have been our mothers before and they have been kind to us. Because of this, we must repay their kindness. These realisations enable us to develop great compassion towards all beings. Clarity and peace of mind come from the realisation that all beings are equal and deserving of love and kindness. To know more about the Buddhist view of equanimity and how Buddhists generate affectionate love for all living beings, please read the “Lamrim Chenmo”(The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment) by Lama Tsongkhapa or Pabongka Rinpoche’s “Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand”.

    The best way to benefit one’s deceased parents is to do dana such as offering food and robes to the Sangha, especially on Ullambana Day. Besides making offerings, you can perform animal liberation, acts of charity, recite sutras, do pujas and dedicate the merits to them. If you are a practising Buddhist, you can also dedicate the merits from your practice, your daily prayers, meditations and mind transformation to them, for their good rebirth and enlightenment.

If I went to a buddhist temple, and I lighted one of the candles there which need to be paid, but I forget to pay the money before I left. But the next day, I went back and paid the money. Is there any heavy karma for not paying the money? Is this considered stealing from the 3 jewels?

    Since you went back the next day to pay for the candle, you did not commit any negative karma. This is not considered stealing as you did not have the motive to steal. So don’t worry about it.

Hello, I am a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner for 5 years now. I am 27; in the last four years I have been suffering from sever spirit harm. It started with me not recovering from knee surgery, then I couldn't move my shoulder well. After class one day, my qigong teacher had something important to tell me: that I had many foreign spirits holding onto my body; explaining that this technique to read energy fields had been passed down. Though the situation improved for awhile doing Buddhist practice, it worsened for several years. At times, my body would go into spontaneous paralysis and I wouldn't be able to move. Or I would wake up fully conscious and not be able to move my body for several minutes despite all my best efforts.
I have received transmission of the full Sengdongma practice from a lama and I am doing Guru Rinpoche practice as well as Ngondra practice. I have experienced good results. I have transferred merits to the foreign spirits by reciting thousands of Great Compassion mantra, Heart Sutra, etc. I have had other Buddhist temples transfer merits to them on my behalf. Unfortunately, I still have many foreign spirits around. One Buddhist monk I've seen says eventually spirits will leave, that what comes in must go out….Thoughts?

    Dear Cameron,

    When “bad” things happen on the path, we must regard them as good signs because we are purifying our negative karma.

    The practices that you are doing are all good and if you do them diligently with bodhicitta motivation, you will be able to expiate your karma with the spirits.

    Besides the outer practices, your inner transformation is crucial. It is important to develop loving kindness and compassion towards others, including the spirits. As Buddhists, we should know that whatever we are experiencing now are the results of good and bad actions from the past. Just as we had the power to create our own problems, we also have the power to overcome them. The way to have peace and happiness is to cultivate virtues. As H.E. Tsem Rinpoche has advised, we must pursue our spirituality with wisdom, patience and knowledge. May all your wishes be fulfilled.

Hello dear Pastors! I have a problem which has been bothering me for a while: Since I did a lot of studying of the Buddhist practice I have changed throughout the process. I can honestly say that I am a better person than I was before, my heart is open for everyone and I feel for people and animals. My problem is that everysince I am so aware of what actions in life are positive and helpful to others, I of course also notice people around me who are mean, selfish, greedy and bad. I live in a small city and deal with people everyday, but so many of them are not nice and good to others and then it is very very hard for me to be good to them. How can I deal with people like this daily? Their behaviour upsets me since I know that they are on the wrong track. Should I not let it bother me?

    Dear Christy,

    I’m very happy to know you have benefited from your spiritual practice. With your knowledge of the Dharma, why don’t you benefit others as well, especially those people around you? They also need the Dharma to become better people. Not having met the Dharma, and living in ignorance life after life, it is no wonder that they are “mean, selfish, greedy and bad” as you said. The way to practise is to be kind whether others are kind or not. Then there is a chance you will be able to influence them to be kind. Apply what you have learned in your daily life. You will encounter many difficult people throughout your life but if your attitude is positive, you will be able to deal with them with patience, knowledge and wisdom. As Mother Teresa said, “If you judge people, you have no time to love them.” The fact that you are upset by those people’s behaviour shows that you need to develop patience and recognise qualities in others, not just their faults. In your small city, you can do a lot to bring the Dharma to people. Don’t expect others to respond with gratitude but do it for your own spiritual growth. This advice is from H.E. Tsem Rinpoche. Out of compassion, be an inspiration to others for them to change. People may or may not change but be good to them anyway. I hope this has helped you. Do keep in touch and let us know about your progress.

    Dear Dharma lady,

    Go to a temple or Dharma centre in your city and get advice from a lama or from senior students there. Read about basic practices in Vajrayana Buddhism and attend classes. If you are really keen to start your practice, do not let the obstacles stand in your way. Late classes, female, no transport – these are minor obstacles that can be removed if one is sincere and determined to practice, absorb the Dharma, surrender to it and devote the rest of one’s life to it. My best wishes to you and may all your wishes be fulfilled.

    Thank you for your questions. There are many ways to reach out to people. In this day and age, the most effective way is through the social media. The fastest way to spread Dharma and to reach as many people as possible is through the internet. A very good example is H.E. Tsem Rinpoche who has thousands of followers and his teachings are viewed by millions. But if one wishes to reach the “correct people”, that is, those who are already interested in learning Dharma and who would benefit from it, the best way is to offer Dharma courses not only in the Dharma centre but also through the E-learning approach on the internet.

    I recommend the “Medicine Buddha Practice” which can be found on this blog in the section “Prayers and Sadhanas”: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/prayers-and-sadhanas/sadhana-prayers.html#18. It is a powerful method for healing, both for oneself and others. Recite the mantra as many times as possible and request Medicine Buddha to pacify the ebola disease that is causing much suffering now and to prevent all future outbreaks of the disease. The mantra: TAYATHA OM BEKANZEY BEKANZEY MAHA BEKANZEY BEKANZEY RANZA SAMUGATEY SOHA.

    You can also recite the mantra “OM MANI PEME HUNG” hundreds of times and dedicate the merits to those who are suffering from ebola, for them to recover swiftly.

I would like to understand the way that rebirth and karma work. What makes a Buddhist so sure that bad karma means rebirth and for example that a human, who has committed some harmful actions, will be punished with bad karma?
Maybe it is all just coincidence, some people are sick, some people are healthy, maybe it is just how life on earth goes.
Why is a Buddhist monk so sure that he has lived previously?
I would love to understand this.

    Dear Andrea,

    To understand karma, one needs to study, contemplate and investigate. H.E. Tsem Rinpoche says that he finds the doctrine of karma logical because it answers so many questions and puts our mind at rest.

    Karma is defined as “all intentional bodily, verbal, and mental actions that are the cause of rebirth in the higher or lower realms.” It is called the law of cause and effect. The Buddha has taught that “whatever karma is created will bring a corresponding result”. In other words, virtuous actions will bring about happiness and rebirth in higher realms; non-virtuous actions will result in suffering and rebirth in the lower realms. As H.E. Tsem Rinpoche says, “what body we are going to take birth in is 100% due to karmic imprints”. Buddhists believe that one does not meet with something if one has not created the karma for it to happen. So when you say, “Maybe it is all just coincidence”, you are speaking from lack of knowledge and understanding of the law of cause and effect.

    Ordinary beings find it hard to fathom the complexity of the relationship between karmic cause and effect. Why, for instance, does a good person who helps others lives in poverty and an evil person who harms others is wealthy? Only enlightened beings know the relationship between actions and their fruition and through their teachings we are able to understand the subtleties of karma. To understand how karma works, we have to know that the result of an action need not ripen in the present life. It may manifest itself only after hundreds of eons. This is because the necessary conditions and the appropriate time must be right for a certain action to bear fruit.

    To answer your question, “Why is a Buddhist monk so sure that he has lived previously?”, we just have to remember Buddha Shakyamuni who, when he became enlightened under the Bodhi tree, remembered his past lives in all their detail and he knew the karmic destinies (past, present and future)of all sentient beings as well. Karma and its effects for both oneself and others are known and understood by beings who are enlightened. I hope this explanation has been helpful.

谢松平于2011年被授任为讲法师,他的佛法事业既丰富又多元,既曾在克切拉天堂文物中心担任过举足轻重的职务,也曾是尊贵的詹杜固仁波切的私人助理,不仅到过不同圣地朝圣,也接受过多项高级瑜伽密续灌顶。他熟悉多种法会仪式,对佛法也有深入的理解。

陈稚鑫讲法师(即将出家)

对稚鑫而言,下定决心努力利益众生及通过分享佛法来回报他人恩惠,是她所跨出的一大步。

在加入克切拉之前,陈稚鑫是一名讲师、课程内容编写员,同时也负责编写电子学习方案。在负责给各大学院教职人员准备“特殊用途英语”(ESP)训练课程的当儿,她受邀出席尊贵的詹杜固仁波切的开示。这场开示重新点燃她对藏传佛教的兴趣,唤起她年少时经常跟父母出席佛法开示的美好回忆。

2006年,陈稚鑫加入克切拉媒体出版社,成为全职的市场执行员,负责把仁波切的教诲推广到世界各角落。如今,稚鑫是詹拉章的一员,负责照顾仁波切的世俗事务,让仁波切专注于弘法利生工作。

稚鑫说,当她决定加入克切拉当全职职工时,就誓言要把此生用在做一些利益众生的事。由于在仁波切身边侍奉,她亲见上师即使面对多艰巨的挑战,都不曾言倦地协助别人,弘扬甘丹寺的传承佛法;这让她明了出家为尼是她的下一步,如此才能创造向上师学习佛法的条件。这也是稚鑫努力利益众生及通过分享佛法回报他人恩惠,所跨出的一大步。

温婉如讲法师(即将出家)

自从在克切拉找到了自己的心灵归宿后,婉如就把佛法事业作为她人生的使命,并希望将一生都用来弘法利生。

婉如在2010年底无意中发现了詹杜固仁波切的博客,之后就一直跟随仁波切的博客和面子书。在2012年7月自台湾法鼓文理学院考获佛教学系文学硕士学位后,婉如就回到马来西亚加入克切拉成为资深教育执行员。婉如深受仁波切说法时的直率风格所吸引,也惊叹于克切拉在仁波切的领导下所取得的发展成绩。对她而言,仁波切是一位言行一致、言出必行、真心关怀他人的大师。他无疑是上师依止心的最佳榜样,这也是婉如一心要在自己心里生起的美好特质。

自从在克切拉找到了自己的心灵归宿后,婉如就把佛法事业作为她人生的使命。2013年5月,她正式请求仁波切授予她出家戒,她希望通过出家将生命完全奉献在弘法利生上。婉如说,出家意味着自己真诚回应内在的呼唤,即将佛法贯彻于生活及造福他人。

T这个目标唯有在遇见根本上师并向他学习后才可能达到;婉如很幸运的遇见了自己的根本上师——尊贵的詹杜固仁波切。

尼拉讲法师(即将出家)

尼拉请求出家受戒,一方面是为了提升自己,另一方面也希望能透过学习传承法教,将纯净的教诲延续到下一代。他发愿要像上师詹杜固仁波切利益他那样来造福其他人。

尼拉在英国出生和长大,大学时期主修人类学。毕业之后,他曾先后在一家酒店式公寓及旅馆公司及一家管理公司担任财务管理员。在一个偶然的机缘下,他在网络上发现了尊贵的詹杜固仁波切的 Youtube 频道。正是透过仁波切的教诲,尼拉开始明白如果想要自利利他,最重要的就是要修习佛法。

在网络上与仁波切“结缘”之后,尼拉一直都与詹杜固仁波切其中一位在英国的弟子保持联系。在后者的鼓励下,他于2012年底专程前来马来西亚克切拉佛教中心进行十天的访问和学习。离开前,詹杜固仁波切要求尼拉加入克切拉佛教团体。尼拉毅然答应了。

2013年2月,尼拉离开英国迁移到马来西亚,开始在克切拉佛教中心担任教育协调员一职,协助教育小组编排和实施新课程纲要,同时也参与克切拉周日儿童佛法班的授课工作。自遇见詹杜固仁波切以来,仁波切不断鼓励他多从事佛法事业,努力改进自己。尼拉也将仁波切的叮嘱铭记于心,正因如此,他决定向詹杜固仁波切提出出家的请求。

尼拉请求出家受戒,一方面是为了提升自己,另一方面也希望能透过学习传承法教,将纯净的教诲延续到下一代。他发愿要像上师詹杜固仁波切利益他那样来造福其他人。

陈锦丽讲法师(即将出家)

锦丽专注于透过佛法分享、辅导、法会和其他佛教服务,给每一个走入克切拉的人指引和帮助。她希望能藉由协助弘扬宗喀巴大师的殊胜法教及启发别人踏上灵修之路来报答上师的恩惠。这也是亲爱的上师一直以来对她的劝告。

锦丽在2006年跟友人前往金双威用餐时发现了克切拉佛教中心,之后立即参与了克切拉主办的活动。她更踊跃参与了当时的一千万《缘悲经》念诵闭关。 2006年4月,锦丽遇见了尊贵的詹杜固仁波切,也第一次出席了仁波切的开示,那次的开示让锦丽禁不止流泪。当时的她并不明白自己哭泣的原因,直到后来她才明白那是因为自己终于找到了完美的上师,而仁波切慈悲地以身示教的弘法方式更是深深感动了她。

锦丽在2009年加入克切拉佛教中心成为全职职工,负责内部事务。目前,她是克切拉佛教中心其中一位前台服务经理,主要驻派在彭亨文冬的禅修林。此外,她也在星期天的佛法班授课,并经常作为詹杜固仁波切博客聊天室的协调员。

仁波切的许多教诲改变了她生命里的轻重缓急。她在佛法中找到了生命的目标,也意识到只有跟随佛陀的慈悲和智慧之道,才是克服痛苦和愤怒的方法。 这个领悟让她提出了出家的请求。

锦丽目前是一位佛教讲法师,将来会出家为僧尼。她将专注于透过佛法分享、辅导、法会和其他佛教服务,给每一个走入克切拉的人指引和帮助。她希望能藉由协助弘扬宗喀巴大师的殊胜法教及启发别人踏上灵修之路来报答上师的恩惠。

罗胜彪讲法师(即将出家)

罗胜彪决心协助仁波切弘扬佛法,带着这个坚定的决心,罗胜彪放弃到剑桥大学继续研读博士学位(他当时已获录取)的机会,也辞去了研究工作,全职协助仁波切从事佛法事业,至今从不言悔。

罗胜彪于2001年初遇尊贵的詹杜固仁波切时,并没想过自己会全心全意投入佛法事业。那一年,工程系硕士学位毕业的他正在新加坡从事工程研究工作。然而,仁波切的开示让他留下非常深刻的印象。跟仁波切有过几次接触之后,罗胜彪开始为仁波切和克切拉架设网站。

罗胜彪虽是理科班出生,却深感人生有许多疑问是科学无法圆满解答的。与此同时,他也发现任凭科学技术再怎么发达,也不能真正解决人类所面对的难题,因为今天科技发达,生活水准比起几千年前高出许多,但是人类仍然面对着同样的问题,我们也不见得过得比古人幸福快乐。

在接触仁波切之后,罗胜彪很快就意识到佛法是解决这些问题的究竟方案,而仁波切采用的方法也非常适合现代社会。因此,罗胜彪决心协助仁波切弘扬佛法,带着这个坚定的决心,罗胜彪放弃到剑桥大学继续研读博士学位(他当时已获录取)的机会,也辞去了研究工作,全职协助仁波切从事佛法事业,至今从不言悔。

对罗胜彪而言,遇见仁波切是个全新的人生经历。仁波切让他看到了佛法可以在跳出传统框架的同时,依然保留其精髓。因为身为仁波切的私人助理,罗胜彪有过许多不可思议的经历。他自认非常幸运,能亲眼见证仁波切无论在法座上或生活中,都把佛法化为具体的行动。这些经验在在考验他,挑战他每时每刻都修持佛法。透过这个方式,仁波切成功地剔除他既往偏重佛法仪式的陈腐思维模式。

罗胜彪因亲见仁波切以身示法,所以深信要让心识提升至更高层次,进而获得证悟是绝对可能的。这种种因素促使罗胜彪再踏出一步,受任成为讲法师,好让自己能更有效地弘扬佛法和利益众生。

郭月谊讲法师

个性内向的郭月谊,凭着勇气和决心,将本身的弱点转为优点,还一一将曾经的不可能都化为可能。

郭月谊从9岁起就必须学会独立,年幼的她必须一边上学,一边还要打工赚钱养家。她个性内向,不善于表达自己的想法,朋友也不多,所以她在毕业后加入报馆成为记者,让许多认识她的人大跌眼镜。

郭月谊在光明日报和南洋商报任职期间,曾因表现优异而获奖。写作让她找到了一个抒发感受和想法的管道,而她的文章也为她吸引了一众读者。然而,这一切都不能带给月谊真正的满足。短暂的快乐并不是她所要的——成功、金钱、关系和名誉并不是快乐的关键。

在寻找快乐的过程中,月谊遇见了尊贵的詹杜固仁波切。仁波切告诉她“不要以言语来反驳他人,反而应利用文字来好好表达自己。”这促使她加入克切拉媒体出版社成为撰稿人,后升任为资深编辑,同时也是詹杜固仁波切的其中一位协调助理。

郭月谊目前是克切拉佛教中心的主席,也是首席讲法师,除了讲法师的日常事务如辅导、法会、讲课之余,她也必须管理和安排克切拉佛教中心和讲法师团体中的各种大小事务。这些年在克切拉的所学和经历,让她拥有一个更宽容和开放的胸襟,使她更懂得安抚和辅导那些有需要的人。而她后期培养出的讲课和栽培新人的能力,也给许多人带来了希望。

凭着勇气和决心,郭月谊将本身的弱点转为优点,一一将曾经的不可能都化为可能。

谢晓晶讲法师

担任讲法师职位长达一年后,谢晓晶决定更新戒誓,继续扛起讲法师的责任。

谢晓晶在1999年毕业于广州暨南大学,持有内外全科医学学士学位。之后,她在吉隆坡一间中医学院兼任讲授西方医学的讲师多年。

一直以来,虽然谢晓晶表面上看似一位无神论者,但是潜意识里却不断寻找一位可回答她深藏在内心疑问的精神导师。这些得不到解答的疑问曾在大学时期导致她陷入忧郁状态。为此,谢晓晶经常透过阅读哲学书籍,以期能得到问题的解答。

2007年,谢晓晶经由她十年好友郭月谊讲法师的介绍,初次来到了克切拉。 谢晓晶对完全没有信仰的老友月谊讲法师的彻底改变感到非常惊讶和好奇。在一次偶然的机会下,谢晓晶阅读了克切拉媒体(简称:克媒)出版社的《贪得无厌》。起初,她惯性地以怀疑的态度阅读,试图找出书中谬误之处。然而, 这一次她不仅找不到漏洞,反而对书中逻辑条理分明的解释留下深刻的印象。

2009年3月,谢晓晶加入克媒兼任中文翻译和抄录工作。翌年,她慎重考虑未来的事业方向,思考如何在医学和佛法事业中做出取舍。最终,她选择了佛法事业。谢晓晶领悟到两者虽然同为救济职业,但她相信佛法事业能更深入地利益一切有情。

担任讲法师职位长达一年后,谢晓晶决定更新戒誓,继续扛起讲法师的责任。

林汉妮讲法师

在亲眼目睹尊贵的詹杜固仁波切如何协助她的母亲得到临终前的平静后,林汉妮才意识到自己也希望以佛法来触动他人。

林汉妮是一位退休中学校长,持有莱切斯特大学教育硕士学位,从事教育工作长达30年后于2001年底退休。工作以外,她也是两名孩子的母亲。

在完成硕士学位后,林汉妮考虑继续考取教育博士学位,或打算在退休之后好好去旅游和探望亲友。与此同时,她也在寻找灵修上的方向。因此,林汉妮开始探讨上座部和中国大乘佛教的教义,以期能找到人生的答案。

2004年12月,林汉妮参加了尊贵的格列仁波切举办的《菩提道次第》及白度母闭关。在闭关期间,林汉妮发现自己的问题逐渐有了答案。然后,在 2005年6月,她在姐姐的介绍下来到克切拉,也因此遇见了她的精神导师尊贵的詹杜固仁波切。詹杜固仁波切最近劝告她必须为了众生的利益全神投入佛法事业。

虽然林汉妮有接近二十年的校园辅导经验,但直到亲眼目睹尊贵的詹杜固仁波切如何协助她的母亲得到临终前的平静后,林汉妮才意识到自己也希望以佛法来触动他人。

目前,林汉妮除了是克切拉法会小组成员,在克切拉祈愿堂进行赞助法会以外,还是克切拉教育小组的成员,专注于编著教育内容。此外,林汉妮也是詹杜固仁波切博客的每周“克切拉聊天室小组”成员之一。

黎国圆讲法师

在2014年,黎国圆本着想要帮助更多人的心愿,决定受戒成为佛教讲法师,继续为克切拉团体提供一切与佛法相关的服务。

黎国圆跟随尊贵的詹杜固仁波切学法长达10余年,属于克切拉初创时期的成员之一。他于2005年加入克切拉天堂文物中心成为全职员工,后来也曾陆续在克切拉团体的其他部门服务。

打从一开始,詹杜固仁波切就鼓励黎国圆投入写作工作。在克服了种种障碍后,黎国圆终于展开写作生涯,并在2009年推出他的第一本著作和自传《There’ s No Way But Up》(不进则退)。这本书记述了他自幼的灵修旅程,直到他遇见根本上师――尊贵的詹杜固仁波切的种种经历。

世界各地读者对“There’ s No Way But Up”一书的热烈反应推动黎国圆继续撰写其他著作,包括尼泊尔朝圣指南《Vajrayogini and other Power Places in Nepal》(金刚瑜伽母及尼泊尔其他圣地)、短篇故事集《Tales My Lama Told Me》(上师告诉我的那些传说)以及关于情感关系的《Conversations in Love》(亲密对话)。这些著作给许多人带来启发,也将无数人带向佛法的殿堂。

除了写作,黎国圆自从在克切拉天堂工作的时期开始,就非常热衷于跟他人分享佛法。这些年来,黎国圆从詹杜固仁波切那里接受了无数宝贵的教诲,内容涵盖詹杜固仁波切的公开开示以及仁波切给黎国圆的个人指示和忠告。在大家的印象中,黎国圆一直都是个十分热衷于分享佛法的人。无论他到哪儿去,遇见什么人,他都会热情地与他人分享佛法。在2014年,黎国圆本着想要帮助更多人的心愿,决定受戒成为佛教讲法师,继续为克切拉团体提供一切与佛法相关的服务。

黄松发讲法师

跟随仁波切学法多年之后,黄松发深明讲法师在克切拉团体扮演的重要角色,因此他希望自己也能成为一名讲法师,以进一步为仁波切、克切拉及社会大众服务。

黄松发于1952年出生在马来西亚槟城州。1969年中五毕业后,他南下吉隆坡寻找就业机会。多年来他从事过各种不同的行业,也曾面对失业的窘境。就在1997至1998年期间,正在待业的他受邀到表妹林秀月家中(现为拿督林秀月)参加詹杜固仁波切的佛法开示。第一次的会面,就让他对詹杜固仁波切深入浅出的教法留下了十分深刻的印象。

在仁波切慈悲的开示和引导下,黄松发两夫妻进行了他们首次的闭关修行。他和妻子李淑芳也在仁波切的建议下开始经营小生意,并在很短的时间内就盈利。几年后,克切拉佛教中心正式成立,仁波切开始遴选弟子担任协调助理,而黄松发和拿督林秀月就在那时候毛遂自荐担起这项任务。后来,随着越来越多弟子加入协调助理的阵容,克切拉协调助理理事会也跟着正式成立。今天,协调助理理事会虽已改名为董事会,黄松发却依旧是其中一员。

黄松发目前的职务为克切拉禅修林工程总监,主要负责监督禅修林大小项目的建设以及确保工程能如期完工。在这之前,他曾担任克切拉天堂文物中心部门主管长达10年。此外,黄松发也是克切拉团体多个部门的总监,并曾在2012至2013年期间受委为克切拉佛教中心副主席。

跟随仁波切学法多年之后,黄松发深明讲法师在克切拉团体扮演的重要角色,因此他希望自己也能成为一名讲法师,以进一步为仁波切、克切拉及社会大众服务。黄松发计划在晚年出家为僧,而担任讲法师一职正有助于他朝这个目标前进。黄松发深信:当一个人的年纪越大,就越应该为死亡的逼近做好准备。他认为能身着僧袍在克切拉禅修林迎接死亡是生命最美丽的终结。然而,在那一刻到来之前,黄松发希望自己能继续竭尽所能为克切拉禅修林、社区和前来禅修林的每一个人服务。当体力再也无法负荷的时候,他会请求仁波切允许他在克切拉禅修林投入闭关。

林秀云讲法师

如今,秀云最渴望的是把自己的余生都投入佛法工作和修行,从而利益更多人。

在投入佛法工作前,秀云是一位空闲的家庭主妇。20年前,她有幸遇见了尊贵的詹杜固仁波切和前往甘丹寺朝圣。这一个星期的朝圣之旅改变了她的人生观,让她觉悟到人生除了吃喝、逛街和玩乐,还有其他更有意义的事。她喜欢仁波切的佛法开示,因为那不但符合逻辑和实践性强,且还特别强调利益他人的重要性。仁波切让佛法显得浅显易懂,而他一直以来的忠告总是“改变内在,而非外在”。

实修佛法多年之后,林秀云于2009年决定在本身居住的槟城设立佛教文物中心,以期跟更多人结下佛缘。她知道仁波切的佛法教诲十分实用,十分适合现代人,而仁波切佛法事业也能利惠许多人,所以她希望跟更多人分享仁波切的教诲,也希望能借此来回报仁波切多年来对她的恩惠和指导。今天,位于槟城的克切拉天堂不仅仅是一间文物店,还是一个主办佛法分享会、法会和放生活动的地方。

2010年,同样也是在仁波切的加持下,秀云在槟城设立了克切拉香积厨活动中心,秉持仁波切强调“以行动展现慈悲”的精神,积极为减轻流浪汉和贫困家庭的苦痛出一份力。槟城克切拉香积厨除了每周四次的派饭行动,也每月一次为赤贫家庭提供基本食粮。

如今,秀云最渴望的是,用自己的余生投入佛法工作和修行,从而利益更多人。

利荣讲法师

利荣于2008年加入克切拉天堂文物中心成为兼职员工。然而,在对仁波切和克切拉事业有了进一步的了解之后,仁波切的慈悲深深触动了他。与此同时,他也意识到这份工作让他的生命更具意义,因此毅然全职加入克切拉团体。

作为克切拉天堂的业务执行员,让利荣有机会从仁波切的教诲中学习到更多佛法。这些佛法智慧让他能够帮助那些走入文物中心的人们解决各种问题,从而改善他们的生命。

这些经历让利荣很快地就决定跟随仁波切的步伐,并在2016年受戒成为讲法师,进一步以佛法来服务和造福他人。

It\'s very nice to see volunteers helping maintain holy sites in Kechara Forest Retreat, it\'s very good for them. Cleaning Buddha statues is a very powerful and effective way of purifying body karma.

Kechara Forest Retreat is preparing for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations. This is our holy Vajra Yogini stupa which is now surrounded by beautiful lanterns organised by our students.
