克切拉漫画公司最新出版的《解脱之光》是一部讲述马来西亚四代华人移民史的故事。这个国家当时被称为马来亚，在20世纪初是一个繁荣的英国殖民地。那里盛产锡和橡胶，这是当时极为珍贵的两种天然资源。因此，英属马来亚成为中国、印度和爪哇移民逃离本国贫困、饥荒和政治压迫的首选目的地，也就不足为奇了。在19世纪末至20世纪初，仅马来亚就有超过150万中国移民。

故事发生在槟城乔治市，从陈宏、他的妻子冬梅和他们的儿子亚金踏足马来亚土地的那天开始，追溯陈氏家族从贫穷到富裕的故事。陈宏是一个诚实善良、辛勤工作的人，而且为人既谦虚且好善。陈宏总是慷慨地伸出援手，这让他很快便赢得了同事的赞赏和雇主何先生的信任。陈宏迅速获得晋升，不久后他的儿子亚金也加入他的行列，在何氏贸易公司一起工作。

在第二次世界大战期间，陈宏往生了。何先生为了回报亚金与他已故父亲的忠诚服务，便帮助他实现了陈宏开设中药行的梦想。

陈亚金父子中药行的独特之处在于他们不售卖动物产品，只销售纯植物的商品。这是因为陈氏家族依止了慈悲的观世音菩萨。

从陈亚金到他的儿子陈福成，再到第四代，陈氏家族不仅为自己建立了成功的企业，而且还成为当地社区的支柱企业之一。

《解脱之光》的主要故事始于垂暮之年的陈福成将家族企业的控制权交给了他的两个孩子——季琳和季彤。在这两位千禧一代的带领下，陈亚金父子中药行迁移至规模更大的店铺。他们祖父母的传统草药也被重新命名，他们甚至推出了一系列独家的有机健康产品。

一切似乎都进行得很顺利，直到一系列令人毛骨悚然的事件使情况直转急下。让人感到不解的是，顾客们发现中药行新推出的瓶装产品已经变质了。顾客服用草药后不但没有痊愈，甚至还开始生起病来。

在这个家庭遭遇意外打击的同时，陈亚金父子中药行闹鬼的流言四起。一切在季彤对中药行里所发生的灵异事件有了第一手接触之后，她才开始接受一个事实，那就是我们所生活的世界里，有着超出我们所能感知的更多东西。

在大家处于崩溃边缘之时，多杰雄登护法为陈氏家族伸出援手。多杰雄登护法是一位圆满觉悟的佛，他于三百五十多年前在西藏示现。多杰雄登以护法神的形象示现，他对那些向他寻求帮助的人可说是有求必应，而且他显灵的速度更是一个传奇。此外，这位神通广大的护法神在1959年帮助达赖喇嘛逃离西藏的事迹，至今仍是大家热烈讨论的话题。

多杰雄登护法的体性具有圆满觉者的慈悲与智慧。他的举动是出于慈悲心，发心去除众生之苦。他在人们需要帮助时，即使遇到不可逾越的违缘，他也能给予众生加持。这一种功德，使他赢得了“满愿护法”的美誉。
