20年前，我们的上师尊贵的第廿五世詹杜固仁波切首次接获其上师的指示撰写传记。那个时候，仁波切婉拒上师的建议，并向上师表示无人对自己的故事感兴趣，而且自己的故事也不会让任何人获益。听完仁波切的话之后，上师泰然自若地向仁波切坚持，说明传记将会利益无数人，因此有必要出版。仁波切的上师最后还要仁波切承诺一定会把这件事做好。

仁波切一生谨守无数承诺，撰写传记就是其中一个。身为仁波切的弟子，我们非常高兴能为你呈现中英双语第四版《承诺》和纯中文特别版第二版《承诺》。最新版本的《承诺》加入了更多仁波切人生的点滴，尤其与大护法嘉钦多杰雄登相关的故事，好比：仁波切第一次邂逅多杰雄登护法、仁波切如何从至尊嘉杰宋仁波切那里获得多杰雄登护法的托命灌顶。

除此，最新版本的《承诺》也加入仁波切在甘丹萨济寺的时光故事和相片，哪些高僧和上师教导他、启发他，以及他弘扬多杰雄登护法传承的心路历程。这些都是跟以往《承诺》不同的内容。

另外，我们除了增添内容，当然也不忘增加更多相片。

下面，你将阅读一个非凡人物的故事。这个人物历经沧海桑田 ，最终却能用其行动启发众人在藏传佛教界里形成一股力量。他的人生故事充满考验和磨难，一切都只为了遵守一个承诺。

原本该是金黄色的童年，他却经历了被虐，甚至还尝试自尽、离家出走。所幸，这一切磨难的尽头，是他达成自己的宿命，走上了修行之道。人们在仁波切身上找得到东西方的元素，因为他的成长背景、所接受的教育和经历囊括了东西方元素的精华。

    《承诺》是尊贵的詹杜固仁波切的生平故事，全书共分成一个序加上五个章节。序的部分介绍仁波切的多个显赫前世，第一章到第五章则分别介绍仁波切生命中的不同阶段，各章节主要根据地点来划分。从早年的台湾到美国，到后来的印度和马来西亚。由于地理区域跨越的幅度甚大，整本书的制作过程耗用了许多人力物力，过程中为了收集相关资料，克切拉还特别派出摄制和写作小组前往相关地点去探查和访问，旨在为广大读者呈现仁波切最真实最详细的生平故事。每一张照片，每一则故事都得来不易。感恩仁波切的加持和制作团队的努力，我们才有机会翻阅这本精美的画传。

    詹仁波切是一个谦虚低调的人。他的老师曾经建议仁波切应该出版自传，因为它会激励许多人对人生和修行的启发。由于仁波切有着强烈的上师依止心，他决定跟从上师的指示，同意与许多人分享他的生活点滴。因此，现在我们有最新第4版本，希望有更多人通过仁波切的自传而获益。

    仁波切不断的以正面的态度克服生活中的挑战，许多人都受到启发。虽然仁波切经过许多波折，他依然保有同情心、慈悲心、正直感和勇气，他对上师的奉献精神也从来没有间断过。这些所有美好的品质都是生生世世不断地修行和实践才形成的。

    仁波切的前世有许多位都是大成就者和对佛法有极大贡献的非凡人物，仁波切的前世可以追溯到佛祖释迦牟尼时代，这些前世的真实性是被高级喇嘛和护法多杰雄登证实的。事实证明，我们有幸皈依三宝，加上有据格的上师指导下，不管遇到什么障碍也坚持着修行，我们修行最终的结果将是究竟的自由和幸福，这就是修持佛法的力量。

It\'s very nice to see volunteers helping maintain holy sites in Kechara Forest Retreat, it\'s very good for them. Cleaning Buddha statues is a very powerful and effective way of purifying body karma.
