Question asked by Alejandro
Dear Pastors and Tsem Rinpoche,
in the last weeks I started feeling like something or someone is always watching me… specially when I am alone. I get the hairs in my arm standing and cold feelings on my neck… really creeps me out!
I kept on thinking of emptiness and compassion and dedicating the merit of my practice to whatever being is observing me. The problem is that it has reached a point where it disturbs me in my meditations since sometimes it makes me afraid to close my eyes and visualize the Yidam. It is as though the "being-s" that is observing me takes over of my visualization, or I am just too scared to continue. Two nights ago I was reading in bed in my iPad and aside of the weird cold feeling I saw something moving… so… What can I do so this stops so that I can continue with my dharma practice safely and without having to pay attention to noises and weird feelings?
I didn't receive any initiations yet.
I am really so thankful for all of your help and the answers to other posts and the great dharma work you all are doing!!!
Dear Alejandro,
You did not mention whether you have a guru and whether your Yidam practice has been given to you by a guru. Since you said that you have not received any initiation, I assume that your practice has not been approved by a qualified spiritual guide.
In view of the negative effects of your practice, I suggest you stop the practice and meditation immediately and seek the advice of a qualified guru. If the problem persists, you can order some pujas to be done to clear the negative energies. Pujas can be ordered through http://www.vajrasecrets.com or from Kechara House at SunwayMas Commercial Centre, Petaling Jaya, tel. +60378033908.
I suggest you join a Dharma centre to do more Dharma work if you haven’t done so already. This will enable you to collect merits, have a firm foundation in the Dharma and receive the support and protection you need for Dharma practice.
