Question asked by P.D.
Dear Rinpoche, If our parents love to rule upon us and we are no more children but they continue – should we leave them to do it.Example: my mom forbids me to eat soy because she thinks it is bad for health. I love soy. It's 5 days she took the soy away from me. And my dad wants me to eat meat.Should I obey them as a good son?? If I don't obey my mom there will be huge scandals.
Thank you very much!

Wesak Day in Malaysia where Buddhists nationwide gather at temples . Each of different Buddhist temples celebrated at dawn with various pujas or prayers, meditation, with offerings of flowers, candles and incense ,emphasizing the impermanence of life. Most temples do rituals “Bathing the Buddha” ceremony to wash away bad karma and grand candlelight processions in Penang and Kuala Lumpur. At our Kechara Forest Retreat, Bentong Pahang, we have pujas, flowers, candles and incense offerings as well.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.
