Dear sorrowful,
It is good to know that you find Lama Tsongkhapa helpful in your practice. But you have had Nyingma and Kagyu teachers. Have you taken refuge with them? If so, it is better to seek their permission to practice another tradition. Otherwise you will be breaking your commitments with them. Also, to change from one lineage to another is not recommended as it may lead to confusion. If you practice one tradition and stick to one teacher all the way, you will get results very fast. Do talk to your former teachers.
