Rinpoche buying lottery?
(Posted by Pastor Seng Piow)
Tsem Rinpoche is always on the lookout for needy people on the streets, be it beggars or poor street sellers…Rinpoche will buy food for them, or buy their merchandise in bulk to help those who are poor but sincere so that they can go home early and rest.
This is the kind of love we should have for others instead of only focusing on our own pleasures.

Thank you Pastor Seng Piow for this post, allowing us to be able to witness Tsem Rinpoche compassion in action in different setting, time, and location, even cross culture.
The second video of Rinpoche serving the food onto the plates for the worker show althought Rinpoche is an High Lama, but Rinpoche humility care and compassion is such an example for us that ranks or status is just a label, but being compassion to others has more ground that status. Rinpoche care and attentiveness to the worker is admirable, as in the video Rinpoche reminded the student who is serving the food to serve with compassion, care and love. Though it looks like a simple serving of food to appreciate the work they did, but it mean alot for them, and even to us if we are put in their shoes, because its very rare to be felt appreciated and care for in this time and age, further more to be able to listen to Dharma talk by Rinpoche is a huge blessing that plant Dharmic seed that will be ripen in future.
Tq for admin ‘ s sharing . Tsem Rinpoche always show us the teaching in practical instead text book reading. To show kindness to other very simple , it depends on how much we put in efforts to observe and care for others . Most of the time we care ourself rather than to others . Do follow our Guru’s actions which we will never go wrong .
Thank you Pastor Seng Piow for the sharing .Rinpoche spontaneous gesture of helping the less fortunate are sincere act of compassion and generosity. These are the qualities that we should follow if we are sincere in our dharma practice.
Let us for go our selfishness and focus on improving others well being in order to gain greater satisfaction through our merit bank……
Thank you admin who posted these inspiring video. Rinpoche never stop show us how to be benefits others I love every single teaching that Rinpoche teach very inspiring and benefiting if listen to it very lifting even if you have a bad day.
As dharma practicioners, we should practise like what Rinpoche did in this blog. Rinpoche is actually showing what a real bodhisattva of compassion would do in action! He is always on lookout for needy people on the streets, be they beggars or poor street sellers and will go forth to buy their merchandise to help those poor sincere ones so that they can go back home early and rest. A good heart imbued with wisdom, like our Guru, is the source of all happiness. They will always be well respected by people the world over! The thought of helping others who are suffering is always in Rinpoche’s heart. Cultivating this type of mind must be pure in the sense of having no concern for oneself and the unmarred concern for others – ” a mind-state of compassion with sympathy for all living beings, without exception”. Om mani padmw hung.
Thank you Pastor Seng Piow for the sharing. May us transform the dharma teaching into the practices to benefit others.
The short Dharma talk on Fasting Buddha was very nice to listen to.
From the videos, it is so clear that Rinpoche never feels he is on top of others, and prepares and serves others who serves Him. It is such a disgrace to me that I cannot practice such humility despite being with my Guru for so long.
Thank you Pastor SP for the videos. I truly will reflect to be more humble and be more compassionate to others who needs help more than I do.
