Thank you for posting Rinpoche. As if looking into the mirror, glancing my yesterday, this photo could be me in so many ways. I remember being at the dinner table and asking where my friend Bobo the Cow was? My Father laughed at me and said, “Your eating him.” Some forty years later and I still feel the pain of losing who I viewed as my best friend. I am grateful that all these years later, having been hurt so deeply as a result, so as to have no desire to eat meat whatsoever. I would have preferred my friend lived out life happily, rather than sustain my sorrows another day. Poor boy indeed.
