Be aware what doing now will be bring result to our next life.What every habitual we have cause us self cherishing must transform immediately.Just like the dog playing the piano.
I could not find other reason for this, beside a strong imprint from previous life.

There is nothing guarantee that in next life we will born as a human again and won’t born as a dog with good condition like this. Its only depend on our actions of today.Thank you very much for beautiful message.

The Chair

I have one chair I usually sit on to do my sadhana, watch a program, read, write, research and so on. But many times I return from my bathroom, Oser girl has taken over my chair. She gives me this look like, it’s her chair! She’s a spunky little schnauzer. The room has so much space, other sofas and places of interest, but my Oser has to hijack my chair always. I have to gently move her over and squeeze in next to her like I did last night into the same chair. We sat together for hours and she fell asleep in my chair huddled against me. Love is sharing a chair even though it’s meant for one occupant at a time. ? Tsem Rinpoche

Extremely cute….cannot imagine how is like watching it real .Surpresed and happy, that doggie previous life must be a pianist as she enjoyed singing and playing the plano. The doggie is so cute.

Wow, proof of previous lives is becoming more and more accessible. It has always existed but many were too afraid to expose it, express it or communicate it. Today, as we become a society of the information age, we have the channel to share this knowledge. Now is to harness the courage to live life by this principal so that we create results that we are proud of from one life to the next.

He sure looks like playing the piano and singing. His paws looks like taping on the piano keys and not just stepping on them. And the howling is like singing along with the tune. Yeah, strong imprints from previous life. Possibly a musician.

This dog is like the Stevie Wonder of the dogs, the Wolfgang of the wolfs, the Bach of the Bark. There must have been some previous life imprints, or someone left the dog on the table and he got excited by the sounds. Nevertheless, extremely cute!

是的，这只狗狗的确有很深的前世印记存在，见到钢琴就二话不说的跳上去边弹琴边唱歌，好可爱！

Animals also have past lives as do humans. Remembering their past lives is believed to be the same conscious way for them as it is for humans as said in some books. There can in some cases be spontaneous remembrances in their new rebirth. As said in some articles, similar descriptions are said to be in the same pattern of behaviours to what are been shown in the blog, i.e. firstly, looking up the ceiling or wall, with sudden zipping of eyes and head tilting back and darting to begin its howling, wailing and barking noises to the accompaniment of music as what this adorable pooch has done so beautifully. It cerntainly is a strong previous life imprint!!

This is the first time seeing a dog playing a piano and woofing. It is a pity as an animal, the doggy cannot change and learn as well as a human being. The human being is the best form of learning and opening up the mind to learning and growing spiritually.

Very clear that we should not eat meat and animal. Animals are same like us who does not want suffering. Since we do not want it, why create suffering to them and others?

If music and art can be a imprint for next life, then all the prayers and Dharma talk we attended and books that we read will definitely store in our mind stream and be brought to our future life.

This is the clear example of karma is existing. Not matter what form
we born, previous life karmic imprinted still follow our consciousness to one life to another life.

This is a very interesting dog, it might be some connection from previous life as a musician or it was trained to do it.
It reminds me of my dog that always howl when the truck that collect old news paper played on the loud speaker.

This is very cute.. i could not find other reason for this, beside a strong imprint from previous life..

The way she plays a piano, the movement of body and how she sings. She is still fortunate that even born as a dog but has good karma to have nice owner and stay in nice environment..

There is nothing guarantee that in next life we will born as a human again and won’t born as a dog with good condition like this. Its only depend on our actions of today to accumulate merit and have more good karma than bad karma..

Adorable mumu indeed! Interesting how if a dog plays piano like this everyone is so happy to watch and hear, wonder if it was a human playing and singing like this, would there be an appreciative audience? Heheh

Im sure most of us have come across pets who have very “human” behaviours and character, while other pets behave just like what they are, animals. Is the difference due to training and conditioning, or is it the shadow they brought along from their past lives?

This mumu is very talented. He even lifted up his head to reach the high notes. It must be his strong imprints from previous life when he once was a singer or pianist. What did he do wrong to take rebirth as an animal?

May we create the cause to collect enough merits to be born a human in a conducive environment and be able to receive the dharma.

This cute dog knew what he wanted to do – climbed up to the piano, pawing to play some notes and sing along with its head held up high, like a human singer would do. This video is a reminder to one of the teachings in Lamrim – the animal realm and if we do not practice the dharma that way according to the methods – human may gain rebirth into this realm .. interesting – food for thought

Wow, this dog is so talent. This is an example for imprints that the memory of past life will bring forward to this life. As the reincarnation of high Lamas, they are already proven that previous life imprints will bring forward to this life also. I felt sad after watching this video. This dog might be a human once but some how downfall to become a dog. As a dog its have limitation to even enjoy or listen or play the musical instrument he likes. The “singing” sound to me is like a sad song to me.
I remember in Lamrim, one of the sentences sound like this ” the different between you and an animal is you are still breathing” Its sound really really scary to me. May this life, which i can practice Dharma before too late.

We can see that the pooch are so enjoy of playing the piano. While pressing a piano key, the pooch also come out his own voice, like a musician playing a piano and song. What a wonderful memory. Recall from my memory, from age about 6 to 8 , there are so many bad dreams every night and I will wake up and no stop crying due to this and don’t understand why?

But there is so much evidence here of previous life and the imprints we have, even animals, that we bring into this life. Hehe cute! I’m sure if this doggy had a longer tail, you would see it being constantly wagged! The way the doggie throws his/her chin up into the air to howl reminds me of singers on stage who are just about to hit ‘that’ note, and they throw chin up to the air to nail it. 🙂

Agree with strong past live imprints.. otherwise, if it wasn’t then you would see this behaviour in most other dogs that you come across. Why is this only one of the few examples of doggies who would be near interested to play the piano and howl?

Very cute pooch…when she sings and playing piano, definately previous lives and imprints is assisting.

With the above video, no doubt is short but is meaningful. It makes me think one step further…what Rinpoche use to remind all of us, this life we are so fortunate to be born as a human being with beautiful body. If we don’t make use of the body, speech and mind to learn Dharma and benefit others, how to create another course for next and next life to be born again in this condition??

With above pooch is one of the good example, born as animal body how much can I do and contribute?

It’s another wake up massage for me…to let go of my selfishness and comfort zone, time is short now….

Awww, adorable mumu….Yes, like Rinpoche said, it’s talents and liking for music must be from a previous life. Also, Rinpoche had said previously, a child prodigy’s talents for music, academics, etc were brought forth from previous life to the present. How else to explain such a phenomenon especially if the child’s parents were not musicians, academicians, etc?

hahahaha, very cute. Highly possible of her previous life imprint on piano.

She is cute but I felt very sorry for her because she can’t have the proper enjoyment and operate the piano perfectly as a human being. It is just like learning Dharma, we must fully utilize and take advantage of our rebirth in a human form that come with proper body, speech and mind to learn, practice and share Dharma before too late… For instance, although I can have perfect imprint of Buddhism but if I reborn as a cat, what I can do to flourish the imprint? I can only miao.. miao… everyday but I can’t even chant simple mantra.

This video really cheer me up with the cute attack but also is a good reminder for me to be 100% consistent in learning and practicing Dharma every single second in my life.

  Well, my “bark” may be the softest due to distance but nevertheless, here’s my woof woof for your family to consider.
  
  If this comes from genetics itself, then every little pup in the litter would display the same disposition. If it’s the truth, then this theory can be observed in the human realm that siblings from the same parents would behave or possesses similar talents or habits. Seldom do we see this happening. Thus, genetics records certain biological traits but not beyond that.
  
  In Buddhism, the explanation offered to us is the existence of the mind (which is not the brain – a mass of cells and complex neurons etc) It is this mind that cannot be destroyed and is perhaps something we need to consider which is carried from one life time to the next.

I say: “barking” to enlightenment?
Very cute video indeed, maybe a diva that was mean and unethical, but generous however and helping fellow young talents to succeed in a singing career? How else to get the throwing karma to come back as an animal and the ripening karma to be pampered and even have access to a piano… Just guessing…
Karma is powerful, we make it so. It’s a bit like a fast car of which we have the control but that we still must learn to drive even though we think we know already.

I had a Great Dane few years ago. He used to howl every evening when he heard the prayers from the nearby mosque. Perhaps the prayers struck something deep in him ???

n their theoretical model, rudeness has this impact on our ability to think because it engenders negative sadness, anger. Researchers have found that common negative behaviours can spread easily and have significant consequences. The best way to avoid rude people is to meet their acts of rudeness with kindness. Exposure to neurotoxins in society is not new. Children today are raised in an environment that is much different from those days. Nowadays they are exposed to behaviours, profane language, hostilities and stress from which we adults, raised a generation ago. Studies have shown that children exposed to serious psychological trauma during childhood are at risk of suffering increased psychiatric disorders. Interesting read.

Revisit this blog again . Reading comments in this blog Rich people have substantial assets and income, providing a sense of security and freedom from financial worries. Owning high-end cars, designer clothing and everything they want with their money. Rich people often have more time for leisure, hobbies, and travel, allowing them to pursue interests and experiences. They may live in large, luxurious homes and have or apartments, often in desirable locations and having personalized services. The fundamental difference in mindset between the rich and the poor is, the rich have understood a very simple principle money makes money. Rich people see money as an opportunity, while poor people see it as something to be earned. Poor people work hard for their money. It is the heart that makes a man rich. He is rich according to what he is, not according to what he has. Not he who has much is rich, but he who gives much. The primary difference between rich people and poor people is how they handle their wealth. My thought been rich in this world it is not what we take up, but what we give up, that makes us rich.

Found this old post …disturbing. Having a name especially a Bar linked to Buddha to be disrespectful towards Buddhism. After much controversy the owner had it removed. The Buddha Bar located in Sabah by a young owner which opened without much thought had many people complaining. Later was forced to have its controversial name changed to ‘Peacock Garden’ and had apologised for the controversial name. As a devout Buddhist, the name ‘Buddha Bar’ which serves alcohol, is disrespectful to the revered Buddha.

Siberia, considered the heartland of shamanism inhabited by many different ethnic groups, and many of its peoples observe shamanistic. Many of the indigenous communities reclaiming their traditional spiritual and healing practices . Interesting. Siberian shamanism is often called Tengerism, involves various rituals, including drumming, chanting, trance states, and offerings to nature spirits and ancestors. This religious practice has deep roots in Siberia and Central Asia in recent years with roots in the Turkic and Mongolic cultures. Many who have been live in a remote part of Russia, have preserved their shamanic traditions due to their isolation. Many customs of Tengrism are still been practiced where they emphasizes a deep respect for nature and its various spirits, including those of the earth, water, and mountains. They do believe in the continued existence of souls and the importance of honouring their ancestors.

Everyone of us has an unforgettable different experience, a different destination and itineraries. The journey to Shar Gaden Monastery back in 2019, making offerings to the sangha , by the Kecharians hold special moments and memories. They were on behalf of His Eminence the 25th Tsem Rinpoche and Kechara in making an offering to all 650 monks of the monastery. On this fruitful trip the Kecharians had the honour to catch a glimpse of the normally-covered holy statue of Dorje Shugden . Awesome this holy statue of Dorje Shugden was handmade by HH Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and HH Kyabje Zong Rinpoche.The team was also granted an audience with H E Domo Geshe Chocktrul Rinpoche. Having the opportunity to make offerings to the monks was indeed meritorious. Rejoice to them. Looking at those beautiful pictures paints a thousands words. Thank you Rinpoche and team for this sharing. Merely looking at it is a blessing especially the Holy Statue of Dorje Shugden.

Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly. We can’t let our failures define us. Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure. Success is never permanent, and failure is never final. Failure is another stepping stone to greatness .Sometimes just reminding ourselves of the temporality of failure enables us to forge ahead and stay focus looking forward . Failure isn’t something many of us can handle gracefully. And even though we know it’s a common human condition, figuring out how to stay motivated in the face of failure .

Finally HH Dalai Lama said we can practice Dorje Shugden. After all these years of deep frustration felt by the Tibetan people. They who lack religious freedom been denied and been exploited in all sectors of society. More than 60 years the Tibetan leadership has cause the sufferings of those in exile who had propitiate Dorje Shugden. Dalai Lama did reiterated although he recommended not worshipping Dorje Shugden as it is a personal choice and freedom. Interesting read.

Working in a private hospital before ,having witnessed many personal tragedies faced by the living and dying patients. Many of these poor people faced their death with fear, with misery and pain before departing this world. With the images of all these in my mind, on occasion feeling sad and grieve at times when those we have cared .But nonetheless we should recognise certain truths. All of us are going to leave this world at one time and leaving those we love. In the teaching of the Buddha, all of us will pass away eventually as a part in the natural process of birth, old-age and death and that we should always keep in mind the impermanence of life. Along the journey of life, we are reminded of our own inevitable ends in waiting and everything is a blip of transience and impermanent. Be responsible, good and positive for ourselves and towards others. This leads to calmness, happiness and an outlook which contributes to a calm and controlled mind at the time of death. We have to remind ourselves the importance of rebirth and taking time to prepare for their own demise before its too late.To cultivate the good karma, our good actions are an excellent way prepare for our death. Having lead a responsible and compassionate life and have no regrets when death approaches enables us to surrender without a struggle. The life that we all cherish and wish to hold on. We are doomed to the endless cycles of life and death, we should learn and practices Dharma teachings .We are given a chance in life and choice to determine our future, to determine where we will go for rebirth. Spend our time on earth wisely before its too late.

The Flatwoods monster in West Virginia folklore, is a creature reported to have been sighted in the town of Flatwoods in Braxton County, West Virginia Flatwoods monsters are aliens described as hovering creatures with glowing purple eye. Since tales about this creature, it has become one of the most famous legends in modern memory. Although the Monster has not been seen since its impact on the rural community has been huge. Many of the eye witnesses came up stories concluded that the shape, movement, and sounds due to the nature of the sighting. Description by eye witness varied, some said is unidentified flying object (UFO) . There’s no hard evidence to support the true nature . Interesting article.

The Eerie Enigma of the Mothman are refer to the legendary, humanoid, winged creature as said by the locals as where is was been sighted. Since then it had sparking a blend of fear and fascination among the locals in the Point Pleasant, West Virginia area. This creature became an eerie symbol of fear, tragedy, and fascination for decades to come since the stories are so enduring and pervasive . The first reported encounter in 1966 in West Virginia and to the most recent one in 2024 in Kane, Illinois. In the quiet town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, the mysterious creature had igniting one of the most puzzling legends in American folklore. Witnesses described this creature standing over seven feet tall, with a wingspan that could rival a small aircraft, glowing red eyes, and a human-like figure. This interesting, could it be real no one knows, there’s something out there for sure.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama is considered the incarnation of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara and therefore he is an enlightened being. H H Dalai Lama has strongly discouraged the practice of Dorje Shugden worship within Tibetan Buddhism. Dorje Shugden is a prominent deity in the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism. Many highly attained Lamas have been relying on this Powerful Protector for centuries and even Dalai lama previously do propitiate Dorje Shugden . It cannot be wrong and its wrong to view it as a form of “spirit worship”. All his previous 9 reincarnations practiced with devotion, all of the Dalai Lamas teachers practiced Dorje Shugdan as well . The Tibetan community is torn over this issue and this has been the cause of much suffering and unnecessary prejudice. Dalai Lama is without doubt an enlightened being that surely cannot be tricked by a spirit. Dalai Lama did composed a praise to Dorje Shugden while at Dungkar Monastery . Interesting article , may more people read this and to understand better regarding this controversy. In 2020, the Dalai Lama made a Uturn by saying we can practice Dorje Shugden . Thats’ wonderful and relief for many practitioners.

Butön Rinchen Drup, 11th Abbot of Shalu Monastery, was a 14th-century Sakya master and Tibetan Buddhist leader. Butön Rinchen Drup a Tibetan great scholar and translator, known for systematizing the Tibetan Buddhist canon containing the Indian scriptures based on the spoken words of the Buddha. He also compiled the Tangyur collection that contains the Indian and Tibetan commentaries of these teachings. He wrote a famous text, the History of Buddhism in India and Tibet, which many Tibetan scholars utilize in their study till today. He remains to this day as one of the most important Tibetan historians and Buddhist writers in the history of Buddhism and Tibet. He was not merely a capable administrator but he is remembered to this very day as a prodigious scholar and writer and is Tibet’s most celebrated historian. After his death he strongly influenced the development of esoteric studies and psychic training in Tibet for centuries. Interesting biography of a great scholar.

nspiring a Tibetan Parliament representing the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism, spoke bravely for the need to stop discriminating against Dorje Shugden practitioners. Tenpa Yarphel, a Tibetan MP speaking confidently for the sake of Tibetan unity. Tibetans in exile have also been particularly divided over the issue of the two Karmapas and the very damaging Dorje Shugden conflict. For someone who dare to speak for the sake of peace with the intention of moving forward to a better future. Tenpa Yarphel spoke up against the continuing discrimination of people based on their beliefs. For over more than 20 years those Tibetans especially those Dorje Shugden practitioners suffered from the lack of employment opportunities to discrimination. A wise decision of Tenpa Yarphel speaking up the truth of the Tibetan sufferings. They are not allowed in Tibetan hospitals, or apply jobs in the Tibetan civil service or even entering shop or hotels and so on. Tenpa Yarphel’s statement, paints a thousand words of reality. A big hand applaud to this brave man .

Losar is the Tibetan New Year, a festival that marks the beginning of the year on the Tibetan calendar. It is celebrated among the Tibetan community all over the world recently. Losar marks the beginning of the Tibetan calendar year a time for family gatherings, religious ceremonies, and feasting because of its long history and rich cultural traditions. The celebrations will last for 15 days whereby the first three days being the most important day for them and widely celebrated festival on the Tibetan calendar. During theTibetan New Year, Panglung Oracles are known to enter a trance state, of the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden. This practice is considered a significant part of the Losar celebrations within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, providing guidance and blessings to those seeking their wisdom. People often consult the Panglung oracles to receive predictions, advice, and blessings for the coming year. Dorje Shugden will also give teachings while in trance of an oracle.
Reading this old blog again where back in 2022, the Great Protector Dorje Shugden gave an inportant message to everyone of us. We should take it seriously practising good virtues, such as prostrating ,making offerings and practise the holy Dharma. Everyone should always be kind-hearted and doing our best to cultivate loving-kindness, compassion and bodhicitta.

Pemayangtse Monastery is a Buddhist monastery in Sikkim, India that is part of the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. It is one of the oldest and most famous monasteries in Sikkim. It is home to Dorje Shugden, a spirit in Tibetan tradition. The monastery is one of the oldest and most famous in Sikkim. Pemayangtse Monastery in Sikkim, founded by Lhatsun Namkha Jigme of the Nyingma tradition. One of the earliest modern academic references to Dorje Shugden. Stunning sculptures, paintings and ancient scrolls can be found in the Monastery. Interesting story behind this monastery,as described by Lieutenant Colonel Laurence Austine Waddell a British explorer, collector and author. Through the years of travelling in India, Sikkim and areas on the borders of Nepal and Tibet, after doing research on Tibetan Buddhist religious practices he made a stunning discovery. He discovered that Dorje Shugden existence in the Nyingma monastery as written in his book, which confirmed that Dorje Shugden been worshipped in the Nyingma as well . Not only worshipped in the Gelug lineage but held prominence in the Nyingma tradition too. Interesting read.

Theresa asked: Hello to all pastors, I have a question regarding the daily sadhana , I purchased the book diamond path on vajrasecret and some chakras. While I am reading the daily sadhana(short version ). I don’t have altar but I have the image of Dorge Sugden from vajrasecret. Since I can’t perform all the sadhana can I recite(sincerely read)do the refuge( by doing), the four immeasurable, Je Tsongkhapa Guru Yoga, kanshang/kawang, mantra recitation, praise of the protector dorge shugden and the dedication. Remember I dont have empowerment or initiation. If this is not possible can I just recite the Migstema and Dorje Shugden 1 mala per day. I am just new to buddhism we dont have Monastery or temple in my country. Thank you Best Regards, Theresa

However, two days ago, I realized that leaving Buddhism was a mistake, and I want to return to my practice. At the same time, I feel ashamed for having left the Dharma. I began my Buddhist journey thanks to Rinpoche, which I consider the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m incredibly grateful that I was able to watch Rinpoche’s videos—they changed my life forever. Now, I feel ashamed that I may have disappointed him. Before I stopped practicing, I was making daily offerings, practicing Guru Yoga of Lama Tsongkhapa as my main practice, confessing to the 35 Buddhas, and doing the Dorje Shugden free sadhana given by Rinpoche. I also love reading Dharma texts. I’ve started chanting Migtsema again, and it brings me great peace. I truly want to return to my practice, but I’m unsure how to do so. Additionally, I feel lonely and lost, as there is no Buddhist community near me. Sometimes I consider to become a monk, but I do not know how to do that from the contry I am now. I would deeply appreciate any guidance you can offer. Best regards, Sirio

There are many people who rushed to initiation from some Gurus without knowing the actual requirements as mentioned in the 50 stanzas of Guru Devotion, perhaps when some of them learned the 50 stanzas of Guru Devotion it might be too late for them due to the 'Guru Disciples' relationship has been created . My question is what if some of them might hardly understand their Guru's teaching, etc., or whether the teaching is genuine, traditional, etc.. thus, in this case, what should a person do? Can he or she look from other teachings from other centres while still consider their first guru, whom they meet respectfully? May I know is the four preliminary practices are fixed as 100,000 times of prostration, mandala offering, Vajrasattva, and refuge? *Does it mean that whenever we recite the mandala offering prayer from the prayer, such as the 'Diamond Path', the 'Six Sessions of Guru Yoga', etc., are being calculated as well? Can one recite the mandala prayer and make the offering from Mala(does it calculate as well)? *Can anyone chan and replace the Vajrasatta 100 syllable prayer with its mantra? *The 100,000 is full prostration, or short /medium prostration? *What if one is only able to complete 3/4 of the preliminary practices in their life, will it caused any negative impact in their rebirth? May I know can I keep the Buddha statue or tsa tsa inside the books cabinet or hide it with something else such as books due to my wife being a Christian? There will be a conflict if I put the statue or Tsa Tsa in a conspicuous place. Will it cause offence or inappropriate to do so? May I know if one plans to do a hundred water offerings at one time, can you advise the method (my concern is the same water jug might not be sufficient to pour the water to the hundreds cup at once). Thank you

Khang asked: Tashi Deleg Pastors! I have one question: I used to do daily Sang offering in the morning following list under here: 1. Generation and Boddichitta prayer 2. Tsongkhapa prayer by H.H 7th DalaiLama and Migtsema 3. Dorje Shugden short sangsol with Serkym offering. 4. Dedication. My question here that I have wish to recite short prayer and Mantra to Ganapati. Where is appropriate for me to put short Ganapati prayer and mantra in the list above? Thank you so much.
pastor answered: Hello Khang, Nice to see you here again. You can include the short prayer and mantra to Ganapati before starting Dorje Shugden's short sangsol and Serkym offering. So you can do it after the Migtsema mantra. This follows the standard structure of practice, which starts with Taking Refuge, Generating Bodhicitta, Guru-related practices (which includes the practices of Lama Tsongkhapa). This is followed by deity practices such as Ganapati. Following this we engage in Dharma Protectors practices and finally dedication. We hope this helps. The practices of Lama Tsongkhapa, Ganapati and Dorje Shugden are all extremely powerful. I pray you are successful in creating an a close relationship with all three through your practice.

pastor answered: Dear Kenny, Thank you for your question. Tibetan astrology is only a guide. Within the Buddhist system, astrology shows the general manifestation of how karma has manifested for a person. But that does not mean it is set in stone. On the contrary, things can change. That is due to karma. Karma is not fixed, it can be changed, purified, exhausted or overpowered by other types of karma or spiritual merits. That is why in Tibetan astrology there are always methods proscribed to overcome a particularly negative astrological situation. If the calculator you used was a genuine one, they should have given advice about what to do in the exact situation. If they did not here is some general advice that can be used to make the situation better: Marriage or being in a relationship with someone takes effort, care and affection. The main way to ensure a good relationship and overcome negative astrological influences is actually through our own effort and transformation. We cannot remain the same as we are now, otherwise the outcome predicted by astrology will come true. If we put effort into transforming ourselves to be better people and actively working on creating a lasting and open relationship, due to our effort we will be successful in creating a good relationship. You create the karma to be successful through your own efforts. Tsem Rinpoche has given an incredible teaching called "Ingredients for a Successful Relationship", you can watch the teaching here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/students-friends/ingredients-for-a-successful-relationship.html In addition to that, there are certain practices you can engage in to help counter negative astrological effects. Generally speaking, Green Tara is extremely effective in help to create the best conditions for familial harmony and good relationships. You can set up a small altar to her in your house, make offerings and engage in her practice. However, if you want to be more specific you can engage in the practice of your birth deity. This is a deity that you have an affinity due to the time of your birth. If you don't know your birth deity, you can find out here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/tibetan-astrology/tibetan-astrology.html. Alternatively, you can engage in the practice of a Dharma Protector such as Dorje Shugden. You can also engage in either the practices of Trakpo Sumtril or Black Manjushri who are very effective in helping overcome negative astrological influences. Deity practice will help on the spiritual side to overcome this, but remember that they are aids to the main method which is transformation of ourselves and actively working to create a good and lasting relatationship. pastor answered: Dear Rolf, The deities you are praying to now are very good. Both White Tara and Medicine Buddha are actually healing deities. White Tara is also considered a long-life deity as well. If you were given the practices by a guru, then you should contact them to see which one you should concentrate on. If you don't have a guru, then in my opinion you should focus mainly on one particular deity and practice properly to get the full benefits of the practice. For Medicine Buddha, the practice is explained here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/prayers-and-sadhanas/medicine-buddha-practice.html For White Tara (which is shorter in length and less complicated) we have the practice explained here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/buddhas-dharma/healing-practices-for-infectious-diseases.html (Even though the article is framed to help heal infectious diseases, she helps in all manner of healing and creating the causes for a long and healthy life.) If you are open to focusing on another deity instead, the practice of Shize is very good as well. Shize is an emanation of Dorje Shugden, who is a Dharma Protector. He himself is an emanation of Manjushri who is known as the Buddha of Wisdom and great for things like increasing and stabilising memory. Shize's speciality is for healing and long life also. I recommend him as Dharma Protector practices also help to overcome any obstacles that we may be facing faster than meditational deities. If you are already having signs of a failing memory, then this practice may be more effective right away. If you are not experiencing too many signs of failing memory, then you should focus on either White Tara or Medicine Buddha. But focus specifically on one of deity, so that you can create a very strong relationship with them, so that they can help you more. I have experience with both Medicine Buddha and White Tara practices, both are very effective when engaged in consistently and with faith. I hope this helps you. pastor answered: Dear Karla, In Tibetan Buddhism which we practice, Guan Yin is actually worshipped in a male form. He is known as Chenresig in Tibetan or Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit.
