The picture of dogs cramped in cages paint a thousands words. Sad to see this happening with dogs living in cramped cages, with no space to play or moved around. At times, the water and food provided for these poor dogs could be contaminated, crawling with bugs. They can even be malnourished , I could imagined that, living in such a condition. Animals cannot express themselves yet they could feel the pain like us.
By creating awareness about this sad and horror conditions will somehow save a animal’s life .
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.
By being a good example ourselves, we can be a more effective campaigner for the helpless animals. I believe that when we want to stand for something, the most powerful words that speak for us is our action. It is inconsistent when one campaigns for the rescued or stray dogs and ask for donations to feed them but consume chicken and seafood and pork and beef. There is no difference between these animals, they all have feelings and fear for pain. So, here’s a picture of the dogs all trapped in a cramped cage where chicken, sea animals, pigs, and cows are in same or worse conditions waiting to be slaughtered. If you feel for these poor dogs, please spare a thought for the other meat on your plate too. Thank you, Rinpoche for this sharing.
I am glad that people make these groups to stop all this from happening. At least i know that some people out there don’t just hurt and kill animals, but they also help them. I wish i could do more to contribute to this cause. But as i am still young, i am limited to what i can do. U hope that many people agree with this cause. Thank you for sharing.
The sight of the dogs cramped into such small and indecent cages makes me ill, especially the look of the beautiful puppy, so young and doomed to be slaughtered. Just by the way the mommy dog is looking protectively over the little one says so much about how similar animals are to us in their ability to feel a full range of emotions.
The fight against animal cruelty and torture must never stop and that is why Rinpoche has asked us to spread this message as much and as far as possible, and in the words of Rinpoche, “a animal’s life can be saved just from the power of your keyboard”.
It is truly a perversion of human values when the Gangnam Style video hit over a billion views and animals abuse stories are largely ignored.
By now all the dogs in the pictures would have been gone and I hope they have taken good rebirths.
Please protect the animals as how we protect our loved ones. Their emotion, feelings and senses are no different from us. They cannot express themselves in words when they are hungry, pain, cold, hot, scared, uncomfortable or not feeling well. Let’s not kill them for food. They suffer the pain as if we operate our body without the anesthetic or painkiller.
We should not turn away from seeing this, animals are in terrible condition and being killed for food. We do not meat for our food. Please share this with everyone.
Humans are behaving more and more like animals as we become more advanced. Something does not sound right here? How can we as a species become more civilized when this kind of behavior persists, or is allowed to continue?
All the external advancements and technology cannot compensate the fact that we are simply base and primitive in our attitude towards all life forms on earth. We simply do not value life. Is it because we do not understand the value of life?
It seems so senseless and un-necessary, yet it does not stop. No wonder WWF puts out that tagline: “The Killing Stops When The Buying Stops”.
We should add to it, “When the eating stops too.”
Dear Tsem Tulku Rinpoche,
I just don’t understand why man have to kill and eat his own good friend. So sad.
Dear Rinpoche,
I have invite all my friends (worldwild) on this groupe. It’s true we can always help animals and pass messages. Thank you for sharing.
