Two videos of my beloved fish pond. The first video is when there was no fish and we thought there was chlorine. The second video is after the pool was set up and there was no chlorine after all, safe for fishes. I have koi, parrot fish, Ryukins, Oscars, sucker fish, river fish, cichlids and Severums.
Arranged lotus plants, large variety of fish, and a sacred Vajra Yogini to bless the fishes in the fish pond…..it so soothing to see the rain cascading onto the pond giving my fish more and fresh water. I see this right outside my window..I really love this. I love animals. I love when they are happy.

Dear Rinpoche,
This is one of the ways to benefit fishes. I do not have a pond nor aquarium at home at the moment. If there’s any in future, I hope I can draw some inspirations from this article on how to ‘decorate’ the pond that will bring out more benefits to the owner and those around..
Thank you Rinpoche.
I wish I had a garden big enough to have a pond. The pictures in this article is very beautiful. I loved the natural environment idea of having a fish pond, giving an opportunity to the fish live and move more greatly. To me it’s a healthy fish pond with everything natural, the sunlight, rain, plants, rocks, sand, variety of fishes and fresh water.
Thank you for the sharing, I loved the statue in the pond and the fish are very fortunate to have a wonderful and a bless environment.

Tsem Rinpoche at Kechara Forest Retreat, Bentong, Malaysia
It is natural for H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche to be kind to everyone. Even the fishes are swimming next to the Buddha and get tremendous merits by circumambulating this beautiful VajraYogini who is now is Kechara Forest Retreat.

It must be so nice to have such a beautiful fish pond at your home, especially when u can watch all the fish just swimming around. So peaceful to watch. I love how Rinpoche has so many different types of fish in the fish pond, must be so cool to see all these different fish everyday.
Very nice to have fish ponds at homes. It’s very comfortable to watch the fishes swimming around. I feel so glad for the fishes, they are able to live with people that love them and take care or them. May all of the fishes have good health and long lives.
Thank You for sharing Rinpoche.
Luckily Rinpoche got these pictures when it is raining. It looks so peaceful and nice with all these fishes swimming around. No wonder Rinpoche like it so much. I can imagine myself cosily wrap up with a blanket and looking out of my bedroom window seeing the fishes swimming around. The Lotus and Vajrayogini Statue standing in the middle of the pond reminds you of the Dharma. Then instantly you will think of Spirituality. Another good idea is if you have a mini swimming pool in your house and if you don’t make use of it. You can convert into a fish pond which will be the object of you meditation when you pray.
Rinpoche, they are very beautiful and look very happy. These are very fortunate fish to be with you! Thank you for sharing.
Oh! listen to the rhythm of the falling rain…pitter patter pitter patter..
For a moment just watching this brings calm and serenity into our lives…
Dear Riponche, Very nice setup…love your pond. More plants ie lotus or lily would be nice. As it’ll make the fishes less jittery as there are more cover and foilage. Also plants help keep the water quality good as they absorb all excess nitrates from fish poo… 🙂
I really would enjoy having a pond with fishes by my bedroom, maybe to hear the rain coming down so softly, how peaceful.
Dear Rinpoche,
I hope you didn’t purchase these fish. Fish are bred for profit and that’s morally unjustifiable. They are not property to be sold. It would be better to find out if there are fish (or other animals) you can adopt from some dire situation. http://www.veganpamphlet.com
Dear Trish ,
May i just comment if you dont mind , whether its purchase or got of some dire situation it makes not much difference if you look at it from the point that every animals needs salvation or liberation. There is no way we can choose who we help and not help based on where these fishes came from. The point here is to save fishes.
um so should we just let the fish die in their tanks or…buy over the whole business?
just wondering about the best way to save the poor fishes…any ideas?
hi joey, i guess the only way is to do out best moment by moment, fish by fish, or animal by animal, we may not be able to do it all at once. but it does not mean we cannot do all we can at one time.
