These are so touching and cute!
My dear friends,
These photos are so cute you cannot help but to just stare. Please take a look at these beautiful images of animals rearing their young in the wild. Their love, gentleness and care towards the young is so amazing. So touching. Each photo captured the beauty of the unbreakable bond between a parent and their child. If you’re a parent, you’ll surely appreciate this.
Never hurt animals. Never kill them. Never eat them. Let them be in peace and have happy lives. They have every right to live and without fear just like us. We should always protect their environments also.

Those touching and cute pictures tell us a thousands words of love and caring towards one another.Hugging and cuddling between mother and child is a wonderful moments. All the animals as shown in the pictures are so loving and caring in nature. They are one of us as human beings that needs love too.Love is unconditional.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing all these lovely pictures.
These pictures are really lovely. It reminds us that animals are living beings that have feeling, love and care for their little ones too. Just like us human, whom parent’s love is infinity towards their children.
So please respect their existence and do not harm them.
These pictures show that animals can show affection with each other just like humans can. What I can see in these pictures is love and I tend to see parently love. It shows that they are just like us and they are loving and living creatures just like us.
We tend to see animals as different or as a senseless animal. They are almost the complete opposite of that. They are sentient beings and they feel just like us and it is sad that they do not have as much rights to their earth as we take it all away from them and tend to destroy their homes. Animals are creatures like us, they have instinct, a mind, emotions and most importantly they are alive like us. They are like us and they deserve to be seen as other lives and not inferior creatures to us.
Animals and humans are not that different, we all feel and act similarly. We need to start to see that.
Thank you for this post. Great pick-me-up. I like the orang utan one….the baby’s face says it all. Nothing beats cuddling with mummy dearest.
All the animals in the pictures looked so cute. People always say that animals cannot show love, care and compassion to others like how we humans can. Well, they are wrong. These pictures showed us that animals Can show love, care and compassion to others exactly how humans do it.
I can’t really state which one is my favourite picture as they are all equally unique and beautiful. These pictures are so nicely taken that the pictures look like it has been photoshop, and it scares me that some of the animals like the picture of the leopard and her cub somehow actually resembles the face of a human.
Thank You Rinpoche for sharing this article. I love it how the photographers are able to take such awesome pictures with such wonderful timings. This cheered me up a lot. Hehe.
These pictures are so cute!!! I cannot believe that people actually captured such moments in nature. So happy they did though.
All the pictures seem to follow a theme. The theme of parental love and guidance. In all the pictures it shows how a mother or father loves and takes care of their child/children. It doesn’t matter what animals or what kind of child, a parents love is always going to be unconditional.
This is the same situation for us humans. Our parents are always looking out for us and taking care of us. No matter what. Through the tough times and when we need help, they are always going to be there for us. I think all these pictures show that quite clearly.
Because our parents took care of us when we grew up we must always repay them when they are older and they need us. There are many people in the world who seem to forget what their parents did for them. And because of this they dump their parents in retirement homes and don’t visit them. This is not how its meant to be. I hope that people realise that.
Animals are more than ever a test of our character, of mankind’s capacity for empathy and for decent, honorable conduct and faithful stewardship. We are called to treat them with kindness, not because they have rights or power or some claim to equality, but in a sense because they don’t; because they all stand unequal and powerless before us
One of the talks that stuck in my mind was that Rinpoche said that compassion is natural and hate is unnnatural and that the first act we experienced when we are born is the mother’s compassion. Without the mother’s compassion we would not live until today. Compassion once developed to a level, we cannot regress anymore, like Chenrezig’s compassion all encompassing and vast, hate on the other hand is based on delusions, and if that hate can be undermined then the hate cannot withstand logic and time.
I also like the hippo’s picture.
Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you very much for posting this. All these wonderfully adorable photos just show us and remind us how much animals are just like us. They love, care and feel just like us. Therefore, they have the right to live life to the fullest just like us.
Besides that, this post also shows us how much our parents have done for us thus far. They have fed us, cared for us, nurtured us and loved us unconditionally. 🙂 We must never disrespect or ridicule our parents. We must be forever grateful towards them. Always. Thank you for this post. :’)
Your humble student,
Keng Hwa.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing all these pictures with us. It is just so heart warming to see how affectionate the parents are with their offspring. It is exactly like how humans would be reacting when they are taking care of their younger generation or even the people that they love and care for.
Through this, it already shows us that animals do have feelings as well and we should not even harm them in any way at all. They do feel the pain, and the emotions that we would go through as well.
How I wish that we would stop harming the environment and push these beautiful animals to the brinks of their lives with all our invasion towards their spaces that we may not even need.
It is just so sad that we as human beings always think that we are more “superior” then all other animals because we are able to communicate and do things. The fact is that these animals are able to do all these things as well, just that we may not know. With us having the fingers, and limbs that we have, instead of doing more good for these animals, we are harming them. It is unfair for them as Mother Earth is also their home, not just ours. Without these animals, we would not be able to survive for long as well.
I really hope for the day where humans and animals can live together without humans making use of these animals.
Thanks Tsem Rinpoche for sharing it. it’s so cute.
Very cute. Even animals can take of their offsprings well. They show their love for their child naturally. For us humans we can do much better or at least given the same care to our children, not spoiling but teaching our children to become responsible adults.
I just love being in the company of animals. In fact, I prefer their company to humans. hehe.
I can watch them for hours! I don’t know how people can look at them (for example a pig) and the first thing that pops up in the mind is BACON. It’s shows how ignorant one’s mind can be and I hope with the power of social media, more and more people will see the suffering humans are bringing to animals in so many forms.
These pictures are so heartwarming and touching, I had tears in my eyes as I was looking at the pictures, their love is so genuine and simple. This is one of the very precious quality we see in our daily lives– our parents’ love.
People often say that animals do not have feelings and they are just “animals”, they know nothing about love, happiness, sadness, friendship etc, the pictures are one of the evidences that proves us totally wrong.
I really enjoy looking at these adorable little pictures, they just warm my heart and Rinpoche was totally true, the pictures will make people stare at them naturally, it’s just a very comfortable and admirable feeling. I love it, we must stop hurting animals and stop eating them, they too have love and families.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing these touching photos with us.It only shows that parental love has no boundaries and by nature it is universal.
All beings are born with the conscious nature of compassion.May no living beings be harm.As a human we should extend this feeling to the animal kingdom too…..and may we live in harmony with them.
Thank you, Rinpoche, for these lovely heartwarming pictures which show that animal or human, we all love our young alike. Even the most ferocious of animals melt into tenderness, when it comes to showing their love for their young. On that basis, how can we think to tear the young from their mothers, so as to kill them for their meat or tap the mother’s milk for human consumption and deprive the young of their mother’s milk?
We have so many natural sources of protein and the like. We don’t have to take meat, which is the result of killing animals, after separating the young from their mothers.
Yes Rinpoche, these photos are really so cute and beautiful that i cannot help but to just stare and look again and again!! The bond between the mothers and their babies are so beautiful. Their gentle loving care towards their babies is so incredible, even the ferocious beasts like lions and tigers are capable of doing so, it is indeed very touching!!
First of all these pictures are so cute and it just shows me how animals ca be so cute and be together as families and learn together and have fun together like humans. But to humans, we are better than them somehow and we have the right to kill them and take their homes to be in our benefit. We know that animals can be just like humans yet we are better than them? It is just because we go and kill them?
Animals have feelings and they have families and intelligence. You see in these pictures that the most dangerous animals look cute and friendly because they are judged on the instinct to protect themselves so they are cruel just like anything that lives even us protecting our friends, family and children. We are the same but only we have affection?
That is why I am a vegetarian because of how humans are so cruel to animals and they are just killed in the most horrible ways. Everyone should think like this so they know the value of life and that killing is bad. These pictures just remind me that animals are just like humans. But. to us we war different some how
This post reminds me about how much love and care that my parents have given me. And how we must never abuse this love by arguing or being rude to our parents. We must always show them respect. Mothers and fathers are always there for us. Even when we do not have any friends of girlfriends/boyfriends to talk to, they will always be there for us.
Regarding the post, all the pictures are indeed super cute Rinpoche! I love them so much, i just couldn’t help but stare. My personal favourite is the one with the baby hippo and the mother/father hippo. I don’t know what it is about that specific picture, but it stood out for me. Thank you for taking the time to find and share these photos with us RInpoche 🙂
The animals are just like us; they have a life, they have loved ones, they care and they love, they wan to be cared and loved too, they want to live, they do not want to die. They too are subjected to the hardships of samsara, more in fact compared to humans. Hence we humans do not need to go create more hardships for them. Even if we cannot bring ourselves to love them, the least we can do is not to harm them. They look so cute and adorable, how can we harm them ?
The pictures of the animals and their offspring are so cute. It showed so much love, care, tenderness and warmth. Animals have feelings and emotions too and we should not harm them. Be kind to animals.
Thank you, Rinpoche, for sharing this with us.
Oh my Gosh, all these are so cute!!
Thank You Rinpoche for sharing these happy pictures.
They show clearly that animals protect, educate and care for their babies just as humans do.
We abuse animals for our purpose, lock them up, torture and kill them by saying they are inferior to humans but this is not true.
Thank You for creating awareness
Animals are no different than us, they are capable of love too, therefore the human roles is to protect them not to harm them aa we claimed ourselves as the more superior one. The superior one should act like a big sister or brother to take care the younger ones, in this case human protect animals. Then our earth would be a harmony and safe place to stay. If we want peace, we need to create peace. If we want to be.loved, we should give love. Thank you Rinpoche for sharing all these cute photos! It is a pleasure to see them live happily. 🙂
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing such a lovely picture very heart warming, I just have to said we human are so cruel some of us just can’t feel that these animals have the same feeling like us they do want care and love , is just that they cannot talk they do not have the same intelligence like human but it does not means they do not want care and love , please do not hurt them the peace that we always said to apply to animals as well.
Dharma always teaches us to bring to our mindfulness and compassion on what we can see and feel, in our hearts and mind, the sufferings and pains of all living beings, especially animals. Some animals by nature, are very intelligent living beings, which can think, feel pains and can suffer like humans do! Some dogs, cats and monkeys can communicate their feelings so very much like humans too. In our practice of deep compassion, it would be ideal for us human beings to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle to further reduce more sufferings through this stoppage of killing and eating of animals. As a result, we can also help to promote a happier, successful growth of compassion necessary for the development of good human qualities. Thank you so much, Rinpoche for the beautiful teachings of compassion.
Dear Rinpoche,
Oh My God! Rinpoche they sooooo cute and beautiful, how can we eat or kill them for pleasures. They are weighted with so much of love. It is really true that animals are better at some point about their intelligence and social interaction. I have the documentary on smart animals made by a scientist according to her research but could not find the way to share to this blog Rinpoche, if you all don’t mind.
Thank you
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing these lovely photo of animals with the baby, very heart warming indeed. These picture speaks a thousand words, the animal mama so caring to their babies, look after them and make and spend time with them.
People always say animal has no feeling and conciousness, yet human put themselves as superior being, but they lack the love and care showed by the animal.
Thank you Rinpoche for this lovely sharing, it is so warm. What we can see from these animals’s face-happiness, and the happiness is not only priceless but also is effortless. Human being always chase for unnecessary physical items, but we should look at these pictures, what really brings us happiness is love and I am sure love for own kids and is nature and no need to be taught. Life can be simple but happy as long as you show and you feel the love.
Hahaha these pictures are so cute. It makes even the scariest predators of the wild look tame and gentle.
If you smiled while looking at these pictures… then don’t ever hurt animals. They too have feelings just like you and me.
Awww some of these pictures are adorable! Expression of healthy parental love is the foundation of a decent being.
The pictures are so tender and heart warming to see! Feelings of love, care, kindness, love of a mother and father for their child, protection, gratitude, appreciation which humans feels are exactly the same as what animals feel.
Therefore when humans tend to think that they reign supreme above all other beings, how wrong are we! When we think that animals were “made” to satisfy the human senses, how wrong are we! Due to different karmic circumstances, each mindstream is born in different realms, and we shouldn’t be further punished by other beings born in different/better realms because we will create the karma to reap what we sow eventually.
Animals have nerves, have senses, have feelings, therefore they should not be tortured. If humans are tortured, if our loved ones were to be slaughtered for a meal, how would we feel? Animals feel the same, therefore always think before you act! Cruelty is cruelty, whoever it is done to.
