Simply amazing, beautiful pictures tells all beautiful landscapes, architectures and nature. Looking at all these beautiful pictures again remains me of those places I have been. The crooked house in Poland very unique , the building that plays music when it rains, in Dresden, Germany with amazing architectures and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China, comprised of dense forests, deep ravines, deep canyons, unusual peaks, caves, and pillar-like rock formations. Each and every one pictures have a story behind it.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this as some of them new to me.
The world is so vast and full of many spectacular natural or man-made views. While we marvel the magnificent architectures creatively designed by man, we are also reminded by these photos that the untouched nature showcases glorious views. We should take care of our earth and the nature so that we can preserve these wonderful views for future generations. Thank you for this sharing.
The pictures are all amazing. The picture of the road in Condor/Podul Olt – Brașov somewhat reminds me of the winding road in Wu Tai Shan but of course the condition in China is very different. Each part of the world has its beauty. We all should appreciate and maintain all these beautiful spots and not spoil it be it environment or the architecture of the buildings.
I love these beautiful places and pictures! There are few places that really captivated me. Jordan, Petra,Hotel Plaza Athénée,Zhangjiajie National Forest Park – China,Greenland The Real Ice Place,Cave Hotel in Cappadocia, Turkey,The village of Yangshuo,Jade Mountain Resort Caribbean Island of St. Lucia,This Building Plays Music When It Rains!,The Crooked house in Poland.

Wow ..beautiful, beautiful pictures around the world. Each and every pictures have their own beauty, surrounding by mother nature ,mountains, seas, forest, waterfalls and so forth.Just could’nt descibe how beautiful each of those pictures.I have seen and visited Zhangjiajie National Forest Park , Tianmen Chan Cable Car and Matterhorn they truly amazing.
Looking through those pictures i would choose Matterhorn in Switzerland.as it surrounded by green green forest, snow mountains, quiet and beautiful lakes.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing.
These places are absolutely beautiful and mesmerising, my top 5 favourites are the view from China, Matterhorn, the village of Yangshuo, Turkey (Butterfly valley) and Alaska. Mother nature is really awesome, she is the best designer anyone can get.
I have never seen such a huge and thick ice in my life and I promise that this is the first time I have actually got a close up shot on the width of the ice, they are HUGE! I can’t imagine how cold is the temperature that it requires to form such a thick ice, I would really love to visit Alaska in the winter. I know it’s a crazy idea but it’ll be fun and interesting.
Thank You for sharing these breathtaking landscapes Rinpoche, they are just simply magnificent! I love all of them, but the one that caught my attention most was the Morning Glory Rainbow Pool, it’s beautiful! I wish that one day I can travel around the world with my parents, maybe not my dad, he doesn’t like travelling..hehe
What i do not understood is if truth be told how you’re now not actually a lot more smartly-favored than you may be right now. You’re very intelligent.
You understand therefore significantly when it comes to this
subject, made me for my part imagine it from a lot of numerous angles.
Its like women and men aren’t involved until it’s something to do with Girl gaga!
Your own stuffs excellent. All the time take care of it
up!
Quite a nice selection of pictures… Thank you Rinpoche.
For me the top would be a tie between the Paris Plaza Athenee and Venice for the many nice memories I have had in both places many times in the past.
So at the end, it is not really the place actually…
WOW… Truly amazing and inspiring pictures of human feat as well as natures immense beauty all coming into play in synergy.
Of all the 56 unique pictures, I realised that I have actually been to 13 of them… I thought to myself how privileged I am! And that all the worries and problems I have is really insignificant compared to those less fortunate than I. Going through this post really is quite humbling. Thank you Rinpoche for making us “see” things that are in our face which we always choose to ignore!
Amazing pictures!!! I think I like the nature ones more than the man made wonders. But the picture that fascinated me the most is the camping one over the cliff face… it is like super crazy and super daring of these people to be hanging and sleeping like that!
These are my top five favourites:
1. That Perfect Place for Camping!
A 4,000ft sheer cliff face in Baffin Island, located in the Arctic
2. Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island, Hong Kong, China
(of course anything with a huge Buddha and natural surrounding is an awesome place)
3. This Picture sequence containing 70 lightning shots, Greece
(mother nature’s own fireworks – fierce!)
4. Kaieteur Falls is a high-volume waterfall on the Potaro River in central Guyana
(mother nature is super creative and beautiful)
5. Hotel Plaza Athénée (love the greens growing all over the hotel)
Each of the picture has its own beauty whether its natural or man-made. Would love to visit some of those places. I like Sawasdee Village Resort in Thailand. With the water trickling into the pool, I find it calming and soothing to the ears. Thank you Rinpoche for all these beautiful pictures.
The Places are so beautiful, I like all the pictures and places, each and every place is so unique and special.
The world is huge, not to mention about Universe, just earth planet itself, it is so huge and these pictures are just bits of all. When I was scrolling down from these beautiful pictures, one thing appear in my mind, compared to the wonders of these natural creation, some are no doubt very beautiful from far, but dangerous when near, some are just normal, but it’s a nice place to live in.
In life, we often got caught by the ‘beautiful’ things and when we go near it, it bring us to hell. What do we want? Outer beauty that bring us to more suffering or attachment? or inner beauty that bring us peace? Our choice.
When we often complain about our problems, we focus so much on these problems and it affected our life, but again, compare to the world, our problems are just very tiny, we should focus out more, when we stand in the huge greeny grass area, or a huge seaside, with the natural wind blows on us, we forget about our problem, but that does not mean our problems solved, it is because the problems are not important anymore at that moment. same goes to our life, we can let go our problems when we found greater meaning to live with. we can tolerate more.
Wow.. all the places is beautiful and natural.. I like the forest and mountain! It feel so peaceful and relax..
Lantau Island people is very fortunate because the Buddha statue is huge and blessed the environment and peoples around.
Thank you Rinpoche for the nice photos.
The pictures are so amazing and beautiful! Its hard to choose only one as I like all of them. Some people can really make the effort to take pictures everywhere. The one camping in mid air was the scariest as I have acrophobia. I don’t think I can ever do that. And then I looked at the Maldives picture, I got attracted to the blue sea and chalets. Took me twice to scroll up and down to see which one I really like. In the end, I found it. Its the Buddha over looking the hills and mountains, far and near, in Hong Kong. Thank you Rinpoche for all the beautiful pictures!
One feels very inspired when you look at such beautiful places and which is probably why many spiritual masters do seek beautiful and pristine nature places to do their practices. Very uplifting thank you.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing these amazing pictures with us here. They are simply beautiful!!
Nature can create amazing beauty. Similarly, with much dedication and passion humans can create architectures that bring much peace and joys to the inhabitants.
I love those architectures that blends buildings into nature. Bora-Bora and the building that plays music when it rains are very nice…
Wow.Beautiful. I particularly like the colorful pools, volcanic scene and the mountains. In particular the Tian Tan Buddha in Hong Kong. Been there many years ago but never viewed it from above. That view is incredible. Thanks Rinpoche.
Awesome beautiful and breathtaking scenery to start my day! Thank you for the sharing and compiled the photo with location name. Now I know…
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing all the wonderful pictures to us. Every pictures are so beautiful ^_^ My favourite is “The blue river,Greenland”
Wow, very nice photos!!
I like all the waterfalls and mountain shots, they are breathtaking. A few years ago when I was traveling, I really like nice scenery, I could sit at a place enjoying the scenery and reading my books. I remember I was at a place, waiting for the lake to be calm, so I can see the reflection of the snow mountain on the lake. It took me 2 hours sitting in the wind to get that shot, but worth it. These pictures remind me of those day in New Zealand =)
Thank you Rinpche for the sharing!
To look down from Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco will be thrilling and tempting to do! To live I like a place like Cinque Terre, Italy, with sea and mountain.
it’s so beautiful even the volcano looks appealing.
to think of the immense wonders out there is overwhelming. even more so the ones we have yet to find.
I love everyone of them. I find Earth Sunrise from Space and 70 lightning shots, Greece photos interesting because it is not easy to capture these on camera.
So beautiful and amazing. I love the 70 lightning shots in Greece! Mother nature really has her way to brighten up the skyline!
These beautiful sceneries are to die for! I liked Sorrento, Italy the most as it looks like a quaint little settlement. Imagine taking a walk through the narrow road, hearing the chirping of birds and smell the fresh green air! Thank you for sharing Rinpoche.
Every photo is so uniquely amazing. I love them all. But i must say the one on Maldives looks captivating. I imagine waking up every morning, walk out to the open deck and looking into the horizon. Space, space and more space, that is how i feel when I look at that photo.
Thank you very much Rinpoche! So beautiful – i felt so refreshed after looking at the pictures!
Seems like the last picture titled “CONDOR/Podul” is a repeat of an earlier one – The Stelvio Pass, Italy
I like the Overgrown old Railroad track in the forest, Lantau Island Buddha and Earth sunrise from Space. Each tells a different story depending on how we view it.
Each of the beautiful pictures here of the world exudes different energy about each place. I prefer open, vast, green, woody and cooling against hot, humid, concrete, easy, traffic jam, hustle bustle but we still need these for us to go further.
Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you for the wonderful pictures. They are incredible pictures and I particularly loved the crooked house, camping by the side of the cliff, Hotel Plaza Athénée and ancient city of Petra. I love the Lantau Island Buddha too but I would have preferred a Lama Tsongkhapa statue instead.
Beautiful, amazing and magical moments caught on camera. Almost like nature competing wt manmade wonders. Thanks for this sharing. The photographers have artistic eyes to be abe to capture all these pictures.
Thanks for these incredible pictures
There are so many awesome pictures! My favourite is earth sunrise from space, giving thanks for another to practice Dharma.
Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you very much for sharing with us.
Amazingly beautiful! That’s how I would describe these pictures. For the one I like the most, I have to say it’s Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island, Hong Kong, China. I love the lush green nature and the peaceful feeling in the area. It’s not an easy decision because the rest are so beautiful in their own way…
Wow! So many nice photos!! Thank you so much for finding them and post them here!
