Revisit this post , well plenty to see and be entertained though. Different people have a different idea for their ideal home. Some came up with all sort of interesting and funny design architecture and so forth. To me a simple, calm, declutter home with do as long as it takes not much time to maintain. Any way those in this post looks complicated, funny to me.
Simple home, simple work and simple life. Its all about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back. Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing for us to see how some homes were design and built.
Thank you for the amazing sharing, an excellent architecture dream house with all needs. This article has something out of it and I really enjoyed all the interesting ideas for dream houses.
Most people dream to have huge and luxurious houses. I truly admire the modern, sophisticated with a touch of simplicity in modern dream houses. The door handle that automatically Turns Off the electricity and gas when we leave, all these interesting touch will adds up the beauty of our dream house.
I think all the creative idea houses style fits to the respective personality. For me house is really important especially simple house that surrounds in nature. because throughout our life we spend most of our time in the house and it have to make you feel comfortable.

Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing. Nice to see all those incredible architecture design which I have not seen one before. Very creative and unique for some of those design . Obviously not me , I would not need all these in our dream home. It takes a lot of space, and maintenance will not be easy after all. For me I would prefer to live simple in my dream home.
It’s really creative and very impressive. The uniqueness of the design is really attractive. Such a unique design makes you love your home much more and you may not want to leave your house at all.
Personally, I like:
7. A Swing-Set Dining Table
2. A Door That Turns into a Ping-Pong Table
10. Net bed
Beside unique it has to be practical. Those days we can see a lot of nice furniture but it’s bulky and somehow not safe. It’s always interesting to see how they maximize the room or house in order to make it space-effective especially for the small house.
These show the creativity of humans to think of and satisfy their wants in this world. If the 10% of the brain power is used for betterment of humankind, it will be wonderful. What would be even better would be for Man to find a way to extend the capabilities of the mind to more than 10%. That would be so fantastic. Is that what Vajrayana is about? TO use more than 10% of the human mind?
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this interesting article. The designs are very creative. I think my favourites are number #6, #12 and #32.

I would think most of the, features of houses would be nice to have but not really one must have it or else one’s life cannot be complete?
If one has the resources to have such features built into one’s home, then I think the motivation would have a degree of wanting to impress one’s friends, and also good to have guests and friends over.
Out of the 36 interesting and creative ideas, I like the following the
most.
3. Chilled Produce Drawers in the Kitchen
5. A Sleepover Room
6. A Door Handle That Automatically Turns Off Electricity and Gas When You Leave
21. A Movable Balcony
32. A Built-In Drying Rack
33. A Staircase That Lifts Up to Reveal a Secret Room
It’s amazing to see all these interesting ideas for homes; lovely to look at but difficult to maintain. It is extravagance lifestyle. I would rather use the money for a much better purpose.
Thank you, Rinpoche, for sharing.

Exquisite and creativity designs; likes those space saving ideas. Thanks Rinpoche for sharing the entertain and nice page.
Coolest things to have in our homes….LOL!!!
I really enjoyed this post. Some are very creative like the secret room under the stair case while some are actually practical like the door knob switch. Others are opulent.
All in all, an eye opener.
Thanks Rinpoche.
I especially like the Bone shape pool for dogs. I guess the dogs will love it too.
The rest of the houses are lovely to look at and I think it’s going to be tough to maintain the entire house. This makes me wonder if I would be the slave for the house instead.
But I do enjoy looking at the creativeness of each of the house.
Thank you Rinpoche for the sharing.

Still among all the designs, I love the most is the movable balcony. We can move the windows become balcony whenever we want to have a fresh air and enjoy the sunshine. When we are done, we can move it back as it is. It’s so flexible.

This is very creative and inspiring pictures. Human are very creative and they keep improving their ideas from time to time. I like some of the creative designs.
Thank you Rinpoche for the sharing.
Oh yes, full of fantasy, creativity, and mind blowing indeed! Amazing, a dream house for all needs. Yes, all these ‘genius’ creativity are truly amazing conveniences, with good comforts at the touch of your fingertips, even for some animals too! Anyone may enjoy having one bestowed. I agree with Doreen who said that such amazing ideas created to meet the demands of oneself and to satisfy one’s desires, makes only a temporary illusionary satisfaction of the mind, but may lead one to feelings of attachments or desperate total dependency, on comforts of worldly life . When one is keeping one’s body fit at this moment to continue its practice of Dharma, one must always keep in mind one’s ultimate pursuit, i.e. the liberation of all beings. Thus all actions should be directed not for the comforts of this life, but towards this ultimate goal at all costs. By means of contemplating suffering, we may develop mercy or empathy with the suffering of others, and thus help alleviate the suffering of others, as Rinpoche had always done! Om Mani Padme Hung.
This is very inspiring article to those want to fully utilize their small space house. I like no.6 because it really applicable to save energy concept. The rest also good in saving space concept. Thanks Rinpoche to disclose so many creative home living idea.

I like item 6 and 21 the most – door handle that automatically turn of gas and electricity and item 21 – movable balcony.
Just love the features of item 6. It can help us to save energy. If everyone installed this, I am sure we will help the work to conserve a lot of energy.
Item 21 – movable balcony is really very cool. Save space and very creative idea.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this article. Never knew that such invention exist. I guess when there is a will, there is a way.
Hi Lin Mun,

Thank you Rinpoche for sharing the above pictures.Amazing and creative a big salute to the inventor.I like no..28. bathroom lights that resemble stars and if it is in the living room it will be perfect. Its a eye opener for me.Nothing is impossible as long as we have a will to do it.
Thanks again
It is really interesting to see how people can be so creative.
Among the photos some of them are practical and some are out of fantasies . It is an eye opener for me to view this post.
what i like is A Handle that automatically turns off electricity and gas when you leave and A huge round bedroom window.
Amazing ideas created to meet the demands of ourself wants and desire. Satisfaction that is only temporary, an illusion of the mind satisfaction and entertainment.
How exciting and pleasurable looking at all these photos of great indulgence and innovative ideas for a lifestyle of living. I would totally enjoy such delights BUT.
Think of all the costs and time for maintaining, I rather not have such pleasures and spend my time and money on more valuable causes. Like helping the world to rid of sickness and basic necessities.
To top it all I would rather spend my time and cost to have sentient beings learn HOW TO FISH INSTEAD OF GIVING THE FISHES. In my opinion to create such a possibility is to have the Buddha’s teaching or any pure and true teachings of the great religions be available and taught and practised to benefit all.
The “Bone-Shaped Pool for Your Dog” is a good idea for whoever has pets.
The “Door Handle That Automatically Turns Off Electricity and Gas When You Leave” is practical and a safety feature for modern people 🙂
Net bed is good to have when the weather is hot.
These are creative and innovative. Among the 34 things, I like
12 A huge round bedroom window
14 A library staircase
15 Bone shaped pool for your dog
22 kitchen
Many of the above creative ideas require space or making full used of the space, nowadays especially in Japan , people tend to pick conscious lifestyle choice, deciding that less is more. Personally feel that we can live a balanced life without all the things we often think we ‘require’, so “less is more” will be future trend of lifestyle.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this light and interesting post.
The living space is a personal thing and one that reflects a person very openly and honestly. I love these quirky and unexpected elements but I guess most of it would be beyond what I could afford to have but anyway, it is still fun to see the creativity that went into these architectural elements.
Whatever it is, a minimalist living space has taken off in places like Japan where people just reduce their possessions down to the bare minimum and really spartan living spaces. Adherents say it calm their minds and assist to declutter their lives. Although a fad and has its roots in Zen, the idea is pretty much of a renunciate. One that gives up on desires and attachments so one is free to go for higher pursuits.
This article reveals the astonishing creativity of people when they put their mind to something. Such feats are not just aesthetically pleasing but would encompass the incredible thoughts and efforts into making it a reality. Some of which i now really would want for myself eventhough i didnt think about it before.
Taking cue from a rather interesting conversation about how there are always at least two sides to a story, noticed that on the flip side of such inventions, if we really look at such inventions, it actually also goes to show the length that we go to entertain or distract ourselves. For most of us, such extravagance doesn’t really serve any purpose other than to indulge ourselves. Even if it is said to be erected for the benefit of family members/others, isn’t it really a “demonstration” of our capabilities or to a certain extent, capitalise on the attention/admiration from them? Isn’t that actually a manifestation of the ego? The cost of building such luxuries are undeniably high and just imagine if such costs were applied towards something which truly benefits others.
That being said, it is not the case where enjoying the luxuries life have to offer automatically means it is bad or to be avoided but rather it is just that it would be better to be mindful of considerations other than just self all the time or reduce focus on thoughts/actions leading to reinforcement of attachments/ego. It also doesn’t hurt to change our perspective on the importance of such luxuries and think about our motivation for having or not having them.
The 34 things are so creative and beyond my limited mind. I like the
3. Chilled Produce Drawers in the Kitchen
21. A Movable Balcony
22. Kitchen
24. Stairs You Can Walk Under
the most as these designs save space and keep things away neatly, at the same time useful.
The human mind can be very creative and unlimited. Anything is possible. All we need is effort, love and care.
Thank you Rinpoche, I really enjoyed these pics. People can be so creative and let their creative juices run riot.
Thank you Rinpoche for the sharing.
I like this post light, easy and with few creative ideas.
20. A Bed That NEVER ENDS caught my attention, because I always complain on not having enough sleep especially have to drag myself up early in the morning. I can already imagine when I sleep in these beds. Definitely I will continue my sweet dream. Heeeheee

I certainly enjoyed reading this post. It was really interesting to read the ideas people want in their homes.
Some of the ideas like the door handle that turns off electricity and gas when the occupant leaves the house or the chilled produce drawers under the kitchen table top are really neat and practical. Other ideas like a fire pit in the pool, a glass-encased fireplace a bar you can swim up to are out of this world ideas and in my opinion a bit impractical.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this article, I had a lot of fun going through the pictures!
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this interesting post.
It does surprise me some of the ideas are where out of my imagination.
I likes the below ideas:
6. A Door Handle That Automatically Turns Off Electricity and Gas When You Leave
Reason: This idea is very good which can apply to our home for safely purpose. Especially for the old folks who stay alone.
14. A Library Staircase/Slide
Reason: We can read and have fun at the same time.
15. A Bone-Shaped Pool for Your Dog
Reason: The dogs can enjoys their sun bathe inside the pool especially during the summer time.
All these may seem like fantasy houses but they actually are in someone’s home. I find some of the ideas very practical while others are for the sheer pleasure of knowing that it can be done. It shows that the minds is creative and limitless. Someone, someday will find a way of doing something. It is whimsical only because it is costly and so people will find that the usage does not justify the cost of building them.
All these creativity is only 10% of our brains as scientists have us believe. imagine what we can achieve if we can use more than 10% of our brain. Mind blowing!!!
Thank you for this very interesting and eye-opening post.
Thank you for sharing this “light and easy” post. Quite amazed at the creativity and innovation of the designers to make their client’s dreams come true. My fav of the lot is No. 22 the kitchen. I like the practical storage that is all within easy reach.
Ooo I love some of the ideas and some are just so nice! #2 A Door That Turns into a Ping-Pong Table & #21 A Movable Balcony are so creative and versatile. #6 A Door Handle That Automatically Turns Off Electricity and Gas When You Leave is so useful. I really love the #23 A Staircase That Wraps Around an Aquarium.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing such nice pictures of creativity.
