It has been very hectic during this period when there were three events to prepare for at the same time. There were two weeks of preparation for the opening of the new Gompa on 27th November 2010. A whole week of preparation for the Kechara Mines Road show. And Lama Tsongkapa’s Day on 30th November 2010. At the Kechara Bookfair Road Show Exhibition which starts from 11am – 10pm daily. The organisors expect a turnout of 550,000 visitors as compared to previous statistics which were lesser in 2008 and 2009. KD/KSA and KMP has set up their own booths with their individual products of books Buddha Pendants and handicrafts. The booths were manned by KMP with 19 staff members and volunteers while KD/KSA has 9 volunteers and staff to promote their prodfucts.
Beautiful setup and lots of happy smiling faces everywhere!
Well done, KMP, KSA and KD!
Very nice photos! One thing about Kechara folks which you can’t miss is their smiles and hearts that’s ever ready to offer assistance! No matter how long the day has been, you will always see smiles, and enthusiasms. Come support the roadshow. Bring your friends along!
Great presentation!
