‘From Nature to Nature’ amazing creativity to reuse & recycle materials.
Most recycle item that converted to make the most of gardening is very mind blowing.
I inspired by the ideas to decorate our garden area with those plastic bottles and painted tires filled with colorful flowers.
As the saying mentioned in the picket from this sharing ‘There’s no Planet B’ Indeed ! We are solely responsible preserving Planet Earth from any mankind destruction against our Planet.
Thanks for the sharing Rinpoche.

I really love one of those pictures which is full roof of flowers planted on top of a bus. I imagine if every single bus is doing it, the cities will become greenery and blesses by the nature, how wonderful is that. People lives in cities their eyes get nurture by seeing beautiful colors, nose inhaling fresh air.
It is important to balance lives between development and nature, this remind me the messages of Expo Shanghai 2010, the theme was “Better City, Better Life,” which signified the increasingly important role of urbanization in the 21st century. We cannot stop development, but science and technology can help us improve urban life and environmental quality in a wise and mindful way.
Save trees, save earth. Life is impossible without trees. Trees are our sanctuaries. We save trees and save earth for a better world to live in. We have to take trees as well as earth as our most pleasing responsibility. Trees must be saved as they are a very important natural resource . Facebook fan page called “Save trees save earth” is indeed a great platform in social media which will create more awareness of saving trees for a better environment. They have created amazing pictures of some very innovative recycling techniques and providing short educational explanations on why recycling is very important for the future generation. Great work , thumbs up for their effort in bring for information to more people.
Thank you Rinpoche for this wonderful sharing .
Great and creactive ideas to recycle whatever that could to save trees and save earth.By recycle things which we think of no use can save the earth, less pollutions cause by burning way of dispossing them
Planting of trees to give shade and moisture conservation and reduce carbon pollution to restore global warming. Trees are very important for the survival of mankind as trees take in Carbon dioxide and gives out.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing those beautiful photos and very innovative recycling ideas which can save earth.
People nowadays are full of creativity. They can just make literally everything by using recyclable materials. I’ve once saw on a magazine, there was this dress that was made out of guitar picks. Actually it’s up to us to save our planet or not, the choices are in our hands.
Wow, it is just amazing how these daily things around us that we may think is trash can be useful in so many different ways if we transform them. All we need is just some time and effort to do so. With these methods, I believe many people would be able to create their own recycled items. I just love these ideas!
Salute!!! ♥
How incredibly ingenious!!!! The pictures, ideas and messages portrayed are not only relatively easy to create but beautiful and thought provoking! Perfect example of how we can use our creativity to save and not kill. To enhance and not merely abuse.
I find this inspirational and brilliant to share. Thank you Rinpoche!
Dear Rinpoche,
This Facebook Page on saving trees and the earth has proven its self very ideal for reusing old Metal, plastic bottles, old glass jars, old tires, old jeans and old gutter pipes and innovating them in to a wonderful and useful thing, take the tires that have been made in to chairs, or the wine corks made in to small plant pots, or maybe the bus stop made out of mainly recycled plastic bottles.
The idea i liked most was the one that you can plant flowers on top of the bus, i think that all buses of the future should have space on top of the roof to plant stuff like vegetables and flowers.
Another idea i liked was the one that they use old Volkswagen Beetle cars and transforming them in to a place to grow lots and lots of flowers
The last idea i liked was the recycled plastic bottles made in to a boat, it is just amazing how creative people can be when it comes to recycled items.
It is true what Rinpoche has said that they are a pro-recycling fan page that’s not your typical boring recycling page. I can also tell just by looking at all kinds of ideas they can think of.
Thank You Rinpoche for sharing this wonderful Article!
Love

Really great post, it’s even interesting after reading it for the second time hehe…
I really like the innovations that this facebook page come up with for the effort to go green. It shows how much passion they have to keep the environment clean that they can come up with so many ideas to support their ideals for a greener and cleaner world!
Do share them with your friends! Many of these ideas can be used on a daily basis and infact makes it more convenient for our life!
Oh wow so CREATIVE!!! How fascinating and what brilliant ideas these people have come up with by going GREEN! YES “GREEN” will be the KEY word this year! I love those plants in those colourful boots! In KFR we have a lots of them haha ;D
I’m currently in a Green Group which Rinpoche has set up and has Li Kim as the head of it. mY experience with Nature through this Green Team is that we are all interconnect, mother earth is always in balance. It is us “humans” who have made mother earth unstable, unbalanced hence don’t blame it on the weather folks!
Now we’ve learn to appreciate nature… I personally will never look at nature the same way again. Even their tree truck for each tree is unque with it’s own special characters!
This is creativity to save planet earth. If everyone plays a small part then it will multiply to add up a greater role to green mother earth.
Very creative and i believe everything thing has his value and recycle usage. Thank you Rinpoche for sharing facebook page and the pictures. 🙂
There are so many creative and interesting ways to reuse the recycle items and help save the planet earth. Like what Milly has mentioned, we can apply some of these in KFR, it’s inexpensive and can beautify the place too very practical.
The pictures are beautiful. Very creative ways to recycle using everyday items. We can apply some of these tips to use in KFR. Perhaps we can have one area in KFR whereby its all “decorated” using recycle items like an art piece as an example to the community.
The amount of rubbish we throw out everyday is very worrying. The first steps we should take is to reduce the amount of rubbish we churn out everyday. I strongly recommend all to watch the video on this website: http://www.storyofstuff.org/ and find out how the world economy has contributed much to the unnecessary rubbish that we have for today.
Then we should also consciously use materials or products which allows us to reuse them. For example use own utensils for take away food instead of using the styrofoam, use recycle bags for groceries shopping instead of plastics bags; give away clothes/shirts to others who can still wear them, etc. There are a bit of adjustment in our daily routines, but if we know that we are doing this for our earth, it is worth it.
Of course, when we have no choice we need to buy the products we need, and we can’t reuse them anymore, we still have the last steps to recycle them.
Many people know about recycling, but only few knows that recycle stage is the “last” stage, and we should focus our energy more on the first 2 stages to reduce and reuse.
In Buddhism, we believe in reincarnation: after our death, we will reincarnate, and it is highly possible that we will be born in this earth again. So, do not think “this is not my problem”, because, it can become my problem when we come back 🙂
Great ideas here. I really like the solar tents, light bulb oil lamps, lamp plants, the cork pots and particularly the plastic bottle broom!
These are very creative ways of using up normal household waste and transforming them into usable daily items. I might just try the bottle broom… saves me buying a new broom too 🙂
Very interesting ways to go green!! We should start creating awareness for our mother earth, she is the reason why we have everything today. We must repay back her kindness. Thank You for sharing Rinpoche.
Love,
beatrix ooi.
Thank you for sharing this post with us Rinpoche.
I hope that when our facebook page about spreading animal awareness is released to the public, it will be as successful as this fan page for saving the Earth. We will try our best to research for nice images, good sources of information and other more creative methods of spreading this information to people.
We will make the fan page as interesting as possible. We will make people want to read our fan page. And hopefully, as the result of all that, there will be no more animal suffering in the world.
It is mind blowing to see the designs that these smart people can come up with. And they are doing it for a good cause. For the next generations. If everyone were to do their part, it would be great. It saddens me to see me to see my neighbors wash their porch and cars everyday! All the water wasted makes me think of the people who do not have the luxury to do so. We shouldn’t be so selfish. We should think about the the future now. Use paper bags, wipe your car/porch instead of washing(not everyday), save paper. There are many ways to recycle our garbage too. If only we make the effort…
The world will be a better place if everyone do their part in recycling. We will be reborn to be the next and future generation and we will definitely want to come back to this planet without environmental problems or facing global warming. So let’s start now to save the environment by recycling for a better future and there’s no excuse we cant do as there are so many ways we can recycle. Thank you, Rinpoche, for sharing all these innovative ideas with us!
We can be creative by Recycling many used stuffs. This can save our planet! It is so meaningful by using recycling bottles and etc to decorate our environment. Definitely is not “garbage”, it is a interesting art 🙂
They really have many ideas to recycle and reuse items amazing. Support trees and plants for the Earth we need these for our survival, if we destroy the earth’s biodiversity we are only killing ourselves. Thank you Save Trees Save Earth.
Very interesting and lovely of tree pictures. There are many hidden messages in each of the picture, some very profound, some very cute, some very funny. Although trees doen’t have consciousness trees do support us living beings, for us to be able to live on this planet. If we don’t have food our body can last for a month. If we don’t have water our body can last for a few days. If we don’t have the oxygen produced by the tree our body can last at most minutes.
Thank you Rinpoche for spending so much time to pull all these pictures together for us.
So much care and love that Rinpoche has towards just anyone who come to read this post, simply to convey a very important message of recycling and many others that are conveyed through beautiful pictures here.
Amazing page. Very creative. By re-use the items beautifully will actually helps more people tempted to do re-use and recycle, better than going to the land fills. Thank you Rinpoche
I like the ideas they came up with for recycling water bottles. Imagine the amount of empty bottles that we throw away on a daily basis. There are many more ideas out there that are not shown in the article. We just have to search around.
Thank you Rinpoche for making it easy for us to obtain recycling ideas.
The problems we have on this planet, including environment problems, global warming or deforestation, all we have some degree of responsibility to each of them. We all to a certain degree contribute directly or indirectly to each of them.
We all have a role to play to save our planet. To start a green way of living by each of us then to have a green environment is not impossible. We have to believe and it’s indeed the way that to have a greener of living by ourself is possible and doable, like to pack our food in container instead of styrofoam, not using heater to show during hot weather, buy items with less packaging, eat less meat, support local farmers and etc. All these are simple steps we are able to do.
BBC has this 20 ways to live a greener lifestyle here: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/content/wellbeing/features/greener_cook/1/. It’s interesting to read and find from here or others sources how we could preserve our mother earth.
Recycle can be so interesting if only we knew there are so many ways to recycle items from these pictures! I love the picture on the sprinkler system! Surely we now know better on how to recycle better! Thank you for sharing Rinpoche!
Yes, it is a Dharmic to go green. The world’s pollution and environmental degradation is due to pure human greed. If we can curb our attachments and have awareness for the environment, we can reduce pollution. The condition of our planet reflects our collective greed and delusion.
If only everyone do their part to recycle, the world will not have so much ‘garbage’ and we are the ones leaving such ‘garbage’ behind for the next generation to come.
Let’s recycle for our home, the Earth! I looooove all these images. So much meaning in them to share.
