When the exiled Tibetan leadership (Central Tibetan Administration or CTA) in Dharamsala, North India pushes and enforces the unethical ban against Dorje Shugden, their actions will have the opposite desired effect. The more the CTA enforces this ban which infringes on religious rights, the more China will do to protect the practice of Dorje Shugden in Tibet and China using stronger laws. Why? Because China wants peace. So the more the CTA pushes and creates schism using this issue, the more Central Chinese and regional government will do to protect this practice because they want peace. And this is where it counts the most since the holy land of Tibetan Buddhism is in Tibet. Therefore Dorje Shugden’s practice will be protected and preserved for future generations. The CTA’s move to further segregate people using Dorje Shugden as an issue to distract from their failures is not gaining ground where it counts which is Tibet.

In the Western countries Dorje Shugden can be practiced without interference in religious freedom. For Dorje Shugden’s practice to be banned by a government in a Western country would never happen. But in Tibet, it has been different thanks to interference by the exiled Tibetan government. Now because of the Tibetan leadership’s unskillful and undemocratic ban, it has pushed China to protect and preserve the Dorje Shugden lineage in Tibet and China where it counts. Ironic as that sounds. China and its provinces are now enforcing laws so that people may practice Dorje Shugden if they choose without prejudice and no one may create conflict using the Dorje Shugden issue. That is another milestone. Tibetan leadership would like to say there is no religious freedom in Tibet, but it is the exact opposite where Tibetan leadership bans Dorje Shugden and China allows religious freedom in Tibet.

Remember, China allows and protects the Dorje Shugden practice, and gives religious freedom to all faiths. This is much more than Dharamsala. In Markham County in Tibet, you will now be prosecuted if you create division using the Dorje Shugden issue. You can see that there are notices being issued by regional governments in Tibet making it illegal to ban Dorje Shugden or to use this as an issue to destabilize communities. If the exiled Tibetan government in India really wanted to simply advise us against Dorje Shugden’s falsely perceived harm, they would have said it once and just left it. It is not ‘advice’ when they ban Dorje Shugden adherents from Tibetan hospitals, jobs, meetings, religious institutions and gatherings.

Do you know that within Tibetan society, if you practice Dorje Shugden, you are not allowed to attend a public talk by the Dalai Lama, who is the incarnation of the Buddha of Compassion and love? Everyone else can attend these talks but if you practice Dorje Shugden, you cannot attend. They are the ONLY Tibetans who are not worthy or human enough to attend. According to the exiled Tibetan leadership, Dorje Shugden Tibetans deserve no dignity, no equal rights and deserve to be sidelined. Is this democracy, love or Buddhist behaviour? If the Tibetan government were so caring to advise against Dorje Shugden’s practice, they would not have a page on their official website devoted to degrading the Dorje Shugden lineage of 400 hundred years and its millions of adherents because this type of behaviour and publication only creates disharmony, discord and reflects bad governance.

What kind of government does that? Governments are suppose to create harmony within their people, not create and encourage discord. The exiled Tibetan government should not interfere with religion at all; in fact, as a democratic government, they should not advise for or against any Buddhas, deities or practices. They should be purely secular and leave religious matters to an individual’s personal choice. After 60 years, they have not learned this important lesson of governance yet and hence, they have made no headway with China regarding Tibet…and it’s been 60 years! No Western government will ever lend their full, unwavering support for H.H. the Dalai Lama and the exiled Tibetan government on the issue of Tibet and take concrete action. It’s time to wake up. The exiled Tibetan leadership must remove the ban against Shugden and unite their people in secular harmony and acceptance on the basis they are Tibetans and not their religion. In this way we can preserve our culture and identity. Tibetans cannot and will never be united because of religion. Never. But they must be united on the basis of being Tibetan, full stop. When will Dharamasala’s exiled Tibetan leaders realize this?

The more the Dalai Lama’s exiled government in Dharamsala suppresses Dorje Shugden’s practice and its adherents, the more it will grow. The more others will step in to safeguard religious freedoms, Dorje Shugden’s practice included. Using this method of banning Dorje Shugden’s practice, the exiled Tibetan leadership will not fulfill their wishes so release the unethical ban already! China now safeguards this practice and the lamas in Tibet are teaching the Dorje Shugden practice and this means it will grow. The lifespan of the Tibetan government in exile is numbered and the clock’s ticking, while the government of China will not be anywhere near ending soon.

Public Notice for Markham County regarding Crack down on Violation of Law Using the Issue of Protector Dorje Shugden Practice to Create Social Conflict in the Society

In order to effectively protect Markham’s social stability, long term stability, overall stability, to further encourage Markham’s religious harmony, all Buddhist matters to progress smoothly, harmony between monasteries, according to the “Constitution of the People’s Republic of China”, “Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China”, “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security”, “Regulation on Religious Affairs”, and other laws and regulations, from today onwards, legal actions will be taken against those who commit ten types of violations below; for those using religion to cause trouble, especially those who use the conflict of the practice of Protector Dorje Shugden to incite religious discriminations, create social conflicts, destroy national unity, and attempt to split the motherland, regulations will be centralised and these actions that violate the laws will be severely cracked down, hence the special announcement as below:

In relations to the conflict of Protector Dorje Shugden, party members, cadre at work or in life, managing the issue with bias, not demonstrating leadership by being a role model, causing adverse effects, according to “The Chinese Communist Party Disciplinary Regulations”, “Civil Servant Law of the People’s Republic of China”, “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security”, one will be held accountable. If the circumstances are serious to constitute a crime, one shall be investigated according to law and criminal responsibility.
Spreading, giving countenance to, promoting the conflict of Protector Dorje Shugden, and refusal to mend one’s way after repeated advice, hence creating social conflicts, destroying national unity, and disrupting normal religious order; according to Article 290 and Article 293 of “Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China”, Where people gathered to disturb public order and creating disturbances, one shall be investigated according to law and criminal responsibility.
If parents or elders forcefully inculcate the conflict of Protector Dorje Shugden to their children or relatives, refusing to mend one’s way after repeated advice, hence creating social conflicts, according to Article 47 of the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security”, one will be penalized according to law. If the circumstances are serious to constitute a crime, one shall be investigated according to law and criminal responsibility.
Using the conflict of Protector Dorje Shugden to form illegal organisations, splitting the State or undermining unity of the society, according to Article 103 of the “Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China”, one will be prosecuted accordingly for the crime of splitting the State.
Using the conflict of Protector Dorje Shugden to encourage, instigate the public who are weak in awareness of the truth to join in, refusing to mend one’s way after repeated advice, creating social conflicts, affecting social stability, one will be penalised according to Article 25 of “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security”, for serious cases that constitute a crime, according to Article 120 (3) , 290, 293 of the “Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China”, promoting extremist or terrorist propaganda, gathering people to disrupt public order, creating disturbances, one shall be prosecuted according to criminal responsibility.
Using the conflict of Protector Dorje Shugden to collude with organisation of the 14^th Dalai Lama outside the territory China through the internet, mobile phone, WeChat and other media or methods, organising, plotting, instigating splittist or violence, according to Article 25 and 47 of “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security”, and for serious cases that constitute a crime, according to Article 102, 103 and 120(3) of the “Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China”, will be prosecuted for endangering the sovereignty of the State, carrying out the scheme of splitting the State, and promoting extremist or terrorist propaganda.
Using the conflict of Protector Dorje Shugden to form, plot, abet, instigate, lure, threaten, assist others to carry out self-immolation or criminal activities, using money to lure or delude the public in deciding their beliefs, destroying religious freedom of the public, will be prosecuted according to the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security”, for serious cases that constitute a crime, will be prosecuted according to the “Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China” for endangering public security and infringing upon citizens’ right of the person and democratic rights.
Using the conflict of Protector Dorje Shugden to instigate, threaten, luring the public to abandon farming or sowing, carry out a strike on butchery or sales of meat, refusing to mend one’s way after repeated advice, disrupting production and business operations, one will be penalised according to Article 23 to the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security”, for serious cases that constitute a crime, will be prosecuted according to Article 276 of the “Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China”- sabotaging production and business operation.
Using the conflict of Protector Dorje Shugden to instigate, plot, collude, gather the public and using various methods to go against, refuse, or obstruct the staff member of a government department from performing his duties according to law, according to Article 50 of the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security”, for serious cases that constitute a crime, will be prosecuted according to Article 277 of the “Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China”- obstructing a functionary of a State organ from carrying out his functions according to law.
Using the conflict of Protector Dorje Shugden, through the internet, mobile phone, WeChat and other methods of communication to acquire or providing images, audio visual, and writings, will be prosecuted according to Article 25 of the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security”, for serious cases that constitute a crime, will be prosecuted according to Article 120(6) of the “Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China” – illegally possessing materials that advocate terrorism or extremism.

This public notice is effective immediately on the day of release.

Markham is a county of the Chamdo prefecture in the Tibet Autonomous Region, China. On the sixth general survey in the end of year 2011, the population of Markham was 81,000,which was second only to the four counties of Chengguan in Lhasa, Shigatse, Chamdo and Nagqu. 不知你是否知道，在流亡西藏社会当中，如果你修持多杰雄登，你不被允许出席慈悲菩萨化身的达赖尊者的公开开示。人人都可以出席，但如果你修多杰雄登，你就不能出席。修多杰雄登的他们是藏人之中最低贱、最不配为人的人，以至于他们没有资格出席尊者的开示。根据西藏流亡政府领导人的说辞，修多杰雄登的藏人不配有任何尊严、平等的权利，他们应该被排挤。这是民主、爱或佛教徒的行为吗？如果西藏流亡政府是出于体恤人们而反对多杰雄登的修持，那么他们是不会在自己的官方网站上特设一栏，专门贬低多杰雄登长达四百年历史的传承，以及其上百万信众，因为如此的行为和发布只会导出不和谐、纷争，更反映出腐败的执政。

究竟是什么样的政府会做出这样的事？政府本应在人民之间制造和谐，而非制造和鼓励纷争。西藏流亡政府是完全不应干涉人们的信仰选择。事实上，作为一个民主政府，他们不应劝告人们该信仰什么，不该信仰哪个佛菩萨、本尊或修持。他们应该是一个世俗化的政府，宗教信仰之事，就该让它回归个人的选择。六十年后，他们还没学会这个执政的重要的一课，于是才会在西藏的问题上与中国交涉无果……而这么一拖就是六十年了！没有一个西方政权会在西藏的问题上，给达赖尊者及西藏流亡政府全然、坚定不移的支持，以及采取实质的行动。他们是时候面对现实了。西藏流亡政府必须撤除针对多杰雄登的禁令，并且将其人民在世俗中团结一致、以“多杰雄登修持者是藏人”而非“他们就是他们所信仰的宗教”为根本来接受他们。这么做，我们就能做到将文化及身份完善保存。藏人们不会、也从来没有因为宗教或信仰而团结一致，从来没有，但是他们一定要在“大家都是藏人”的基础上团结一致，就这样。达兰萨拉的西藏流亡政府究竟什么时候才能意识到这一点呢？

达赖尊者的西藏流亡政府越是打压多杰雄登的修持及其修持者，它只会发展得更大，它只会导致更多人站出来维护信仰的自由，多杰雄登的修持就是其中之一。西藏流亡政府以这样的方法来禁止多杰雄登的修持，如此的手段并不会满足他们的愿望，因此就别再拖延，是时候撤除禁令了！如今，中国对这个修持的维护，以及身处西藏的上师们在那里弘扬多杰雄登的修持都意味着这个修持会变得更普遍流传。西藏流亡政府执政的时日已经无多了，时间也非常逼近了，反观中国政府却离这一天遥远得很。

Hi everyone,

just letting you know how things are going with my dorje shugden practice. i sweared i would never practice it again and made a stand against dorje shugden and now i am always questioning is it right or is it wrong but it doesn’t stop me from doing the five minute prayer followed by the mantras as much as possible as tsem rinpoche requested us.

heres some proof it is working. you know how tsem rinpoche said to recite the mantra before and after talking with the doctor. I was playing all of the mantras online and singing along with them and i was at the wrathful mantra when the psychiatrist came into the room and told me she was going to do the ptp which is basically community forced treatment and i paused from the mantra to tell her that is not what i want to be forced medication and she said its too late i already said i would take the medicine. she then said she would talk to the group home first. i talked to the group home and they said they could not force it. if i were on the ptp though they could by sending me back to the hospital if i refused. so obviously not something you want to be put on. so then i finished my mantras after she left with the increase mantra yet i was a little frustrated thinking this might now be my fate. i would not be able to refuse the medication even if i wanted and my physical health is being effected by the side effects so i have gained so much i cannot wipe myself properly after i go to the bathroom and truth be told it would be good for me to get off of it and try to loose some weight. like i did last time now this might not be an option.

anyway, the next day the psychiatrist and social worker sat down with me and the psych said that she had talked with my guardian and told her how i felt about it and she agreed i do not need to be on it as i am doing so good. and mentioned my spiritual teacher whom it seems seems to be onboard as far as the medication is concerned and encourages it.

anyway it turns out now i can be in the group home and refuse medication and they cannot send me back to the hospital. all i have to do is call disability rights if there is an issue with me refusing it they can’t just kick me out.

so it seems like dorje shugden practice seems to be working at least for this issue with the medication which to me is the most important thing because these medications can have a lot of side effects you don’t want to be stuck on a ptp. so i thank dorje shugden for that. the psych also said she was impressed by my spiritual practice.

so is that not proof of dorje shugden’s power. he even helps with things like hospitals and medications.

i can’t express how thankful i am to you dorje shugden this means the most to me because when I can refuse medication and not be sent back to the hospital to be forced on it i can have more freedom in the community to do as i choose in the group home within the limits of the law and not feel like if i go off my meds i am going to be punished. i say this is thanks to dorje shugden.

now i can try using medical marijuana to treat my problem which is what i have been trying to do all along. and i have my med mj card and a dispensary within walking distance as well as a public park i can blaze up in.

as you all may know from some of my posts that the medication was a big problem for me over the years and now i am in a position where i can try something different and see if that works with the mmj.

i am a strong believer in that as well and hope it will do the same thing for me without the need of the psych meds.

i should have enough money so i can go there at least once a week.

and treat myself with natural homeopathic medicine and not be in fear of the law if i refuse my medication because i want to give the mmj a chance without the psych drugs because they interact with them.

i am so happy. i should be moving next week some time. i will try to give another update as to how it is going and if i refuse what the next steps are so long as i can’t be brought back to the hospital i want to document it on my vlog and see if i can loose weight and get back down to 250 again right now im 400. from the meds.

its very uncomfortable.

this has been a very difficult road for me but i know you all are praying for me and supporting me on my drug free weight loss journey with dorje shugden as my main commitment i think i can be successful. i know most people wouldn’t believe i could do it but with the help of dorje shugden anything is possible.

i will have a roommate so that is the only issue. i will not have privacy but thats okay i will still try to find a way to make videos to keep you all updated on my youtube channel konchok shenphen.

Wow this is amazing news. now you are starting to see that the dorje shugden issue is not like dalai lama can say one thing and everyone has to follow anymore. that is more for the side of democracy. without saying anything bad about his holiness cuz since he is one of my lamas i will just say that i have been mistreated because of my dorje shugden practice and wow wouldn’t it be great if we could have such laws in america. i was denied treatment at hospital and illegally evicted from my apartment for practicing dorje shugden by the government. and now am being held in the mental hospital given very powerful psychotropic medicine to brainwash me into giving up my dorje shugden practice. even my own mother has tried to get me to give up dorje shugden practice. and the mental health team that i worked with on the outside…when i had my own apartment before they tried to kill me by locking me in the “homeless shelter” and giving me covid when I had another place to stay. And disability rights could not even do anything about it. The lady that was responsible for my case just retired and acted like it was not her fault for any of this and gets away with it. even though clearly from her report it was all lies for the most part and when i corrected it and passed it into staff for evidence she tried to act like she did nothing wrong and took no responsibility whatsoever…when i had spent seven years getting off of medication that made me gain 150 pounds and had to go back to court and win in court to get off the medication and did it all myself to loose the weight that they caused me to gain only then to have this happen and be put back on meds again conveniently for them so that i could gain all that weight back and be poisoned and overmedicated and commit suicide. I think this was what lama zopa rinpoche wanted for me. to drink myself to death in the motel and take all my pills at once. anyway …

i think the prayers helped. i snuck back over to the other side of the unit and am doing the dorje shugden retreat online with the ngalso sangha. I talked to the Psychiatrist yesterday and she is going to call my half sister who has a reiki practice not too far from here and see if she can help me. I have stayed with her before. The last thing I want is to have to go back into that homeless shelter again. And it looks like theyre not going to be able to find me another group home in the time they are planning on discharging me unless there is a miracle. Before she had someone staying with her so I couldn’t but now he has moved i guess so maybe there is a possibility i can stay with her again. Maybe she can help me. Cuz apparently the mental health system at this point isn’t.

The brainwashing in here is pretty intense on these drugs I will not lie i wrote a statement this morning saying i wouldn’t practice dorje shugden anymore and the cleaning lady found it and im pretty sure she read it cuz i saw her taking it away with the garbage from the unit so i have been suffering pretty bad because of this because these people seem to be using this as a reason to create divisiveness. I should have the freedom to practice dorje shugden it should not be a question of whether i can or not. But they do not see it like that. Which is not right. So now I have been struggling with this again about practicing dorje shugden im sure they are trying to get me to give up my practice but having this blog at least i can report what I have done and try to keep you all updated as to how my struggle is going and maybe get some support.

I am hoping at least to be able to finish one session today of the dorje shugden retreat. Obviously in this brainwashing center things are not like on the outside and they are far more difficult espcially when you are being given very high doses of medication. Lets pray I don’t have to go back to a group home and my half sister can help me and I can stay with her for a little while until i can go back to court and get this guardianship situation with the state fixed so i can have my rights back again cuz apparently since i have a guardian they also can decide whether i practice dorje shugden or not.

I am so sorry for giving up my dorje shugden practice. In this situation it is so hard to keep it up. I pray that this strengthens someone elses struggle who is going through the same thing and that maybe they get some inspiration from these words to keep their dorje shugden practice as i know for a face they are using it against me and in china law this would be illegal. So I don’t agree with this.

I am asking for concerned people of dorje shugden to notify their nearest law enforcement agency or whatever you have to try to end this discrimination and the best way we can do that is keep our samaya with tsem rinpoche and keep my promise to dorje shugden and keep practicing despite all of this that has been done to me to try to ruin my life and make me out to be some sort of crazy deomon worshipper. I know that though thanks to my faithful kecharians i can depend on you to tell the truth and to dispell such rumors. I am saying the same thing on this blog that i was saying over ten years ago when they had me in the group home before when I was blogging about my dorje shugden practice being challenged and that is how i challended it. I kept on posting if i would give my practice up i would recommit myself. It would be interesting if someone were to count how many times i did that but it would probably be quite a few. Of course if we had the freedom to practice it openly and without restriction this would not be so but what they are blaming it on is the government saying that it is a problem with me when it is not me it is the government and they are going along with it to try to stop my practice of dorje shugden. I dont see any other reason that they would be doing this to such an extent that they are other than to try to stop dorje shugdens practice.

The laws need to change so we can practice dorje shugden. Despite me writing that statement earlier i have been fighting with myself to try to keep my dorje shugden practice and I have anyway despite that statement cuz i know im sure dorje shugden knows that if I am forced to give up my practice because im being brainwashed and locked up by the government that is different from me giving it up on my own and dorje shugden understands. I pray that I can get out of here to safety where I can be in somewhere like tibet where i can have the freedom like here in markham to practice dorje shugden and not be discriminated against. Maybe I need to leave America. If there is any kecharians who are willing to get me a plane ticket to come to Malaysia let me know if you will put up with my dorje shugden practice. I am a hard worker and have the lineage of tsem tulku rinpoches teacher khen rinpoche geshe lobsang tharchin. Maybe it would be better for me to come to a different country. Apparently in America they don’t have such laws like they do in tibet in markham where they can practice dorje shugden so freely. Im sure I would do much better there than here. Just an idea. Let me know. I may need to escape from this country. Which is supposedly the freest country in the world. Kind of like the example of tibet being the ones who are so good when actually it is china. Kind of like the same in America. Actually china is better. too..

i have been institutionalized for almost twenty years now.

in canada they have made a law where mentally ill people can be euthanized. That may be my only other option at this point.

but i would truly like to carry on tsem tulku rinpoches legacy and if anyone is interested in getting me a plane ticket and providing me a place to stay and food I would be happy to try to help out as much as I can.

like I said maybe my sister will be willing to help.

Markam County locates in the boundary of Tibet, Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces and east of Qamdo Prefecture of Tibet. Markam County makes it illegal to ban Dorje Shugden , protecting the practice and preserving it for future generations. It’s a wonderful news for many. Since the unethical ban against Dorje Shugden, by the Tibetan leadership in exile , many people had suffered. China allows religious freedom in Tibet, protects the Dorje Shugden practice and even gives religious freedom to all faiths. They want peace and harmony within their people, in the country. The Tibetan government in exile should not interfere with religion at all. Its more than 60 years now, is time for the Tibetan government to lift the ban on Dorje Shugden’s practice even though HH Dalai Lama said we can practice Dorje Shugden.

This is a joyous news that should be shared around the world to prove that Dorje Shugden is still very much practiced today. Markam County , in the Tibet Autonomous Region, China has for centuries been a strategic crossroads town between Tibet and China are now enforcing laws so that people may practice Dorje Shugden freely. It’s a wonderful approach for the Chinese government in making the Dorje Shugden ban illegal. China wants to protect and preserve the Dorje Shugden lineage in Tibet and China where no one could create any conflict using the Dorje Shugden issue. That’s a good news, Dorje Shugden’s practice will be protected and preserved for future generations to come. The religious ban on Dorje Shugden has created an unprecedented atmosphere of hostility and widespread sufferings to many. Such as monasteries and families divided , services denied and so forth. The exiled Tibetan leadership should not interfered in religious freedom of the people ‘s choice of worship. For Dorje Shugden’s practice to be banned by a government should not have happen for the unity, harmony of the people.

Mantras are sacred verbalized words that invoke the protection and blessings of the deity to whom the mantra is ascribed. Mantras are also the manifestations of Buddhas in the form of ‘sounds’, hence the various mantras of Dorje Shugden contain the essence of the Protector.

Tibet has produced many powerful meditations, rituals and guidelines to help us gain spiritual protection, gain wisdom and higher states of consciousness. In general Tibet has produced many powerful methods for the growth of our spiritual evolution. Dorje Shugden is an angel, a saint, a powerful spiritual protector-warrior who originated 350 years ago when a highly awakened Tibetan Lama fulfilled his vows to become a special being to grant protection, wisdom, material needs, safety when travelling (normal and astral travel) and spiritual awakening. Both the Great 5th Dalai Lama and the current His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama composed short yet effective prayers to invoke upon the power and blessings of this special saint and protector. One can recite either one of the prayers that you feel suits you, anytime or even daily. When you feel a special need for help, you can recite either prayer anytime. When you are feeling down, afraid or just need a blessing, you can recite them. After reciting either invocation, it is good to chant the mantra of Dorje Shugden: Om Benza Wiki Bitana Soha.

You do not have to be a Buddhist or practitioner of any religion to invoke upon the blessings and protection of this special enlightened and awakened angel Dorje Shugden. Divination (‘mo’) Text by Dorje Shugden

This is an important divination (‘mo’) text composed by Dorje Shugden himself. Dorje Shugden took trance of the Choyang Dulzin oracle lama, the senior oracle of Gaden Shartse Monastery, and instantly on the spot composed this text within two hours.

The divination text contains information on how to use dice to do divination for the future and is known to be highly accurate. When practitioners use this text, they will be in direct contact with Dorje Shugden to get answers to questions about the future. It is for those who have good samaya with Dorje Shugden and are free of the eight worldly dharmas to be of benefit to others in divining the future.

COMPASSION at its best: His Holiness the Dalai Lama explained in Ladakh, 31 July 2018:

“Usually at the beginning of an empowerment there is a ritual to drive away interferences. But I no longer feel it’s consistent to regard some beings as evil forces. At the start of each day I cultivate altruism, but in the evening we say, ‘May the evil forces be driven away.’ There seems to be a contradiction here that I’m no longer keen to comply with. I’m not highly realized, but I have great confidence in the power of Bodhichitta.”

This latest statement by His Holiness the Dalai Lama is excellent. I fully believe in his compassion and I hope he will fully implement it.

All negative beings take rebirth with negative minds due to deep attachments. The attachments result in negative states of rebirth and angry minds that carry out harmful actions, like spirits or hungry ghosts who can be very bothersome because they are very angry as they died in the state of attachment in their former rebirths.

Indeed we need to generate compassion towards these beings, especially the formless type, as it would be the best remedy to stop their harm. We can recite mantras with love and bless them with it. While reciting prayers, we can meditate on them being at peace. When we generate compassion towards these harmful interferences of the formless type, many of them will calm down and stop their harm and even go away. Some of them, you can talk to them and subdue their harm and they will stop harming completely if they feel your love. That is how you can help them.

Many high masters of India and Tibet generated great compassion towards certain ghosts, spirits or interferers and subdued them in this manner and even made them into protectors of regions. I’ve witnessed this with one of my lamas where he subdued a female spirit that crossed over the Himalayas. After making the spirit promise it will not harm others, my lama gave the spirit a drink to seal the promise.

Since the Dalai Lama has manifested saying Dorje Shugden is negative (although many high lamas disagree), then he can apply this method to Dorje Shugden. He can ‘subdue’ Dorje Shugden by generating tremendous love, prayers and talking nice to Dorje Shugden who will be ‘subdued’. Then people are henceforth ‘free’ to practice Dorje Shugden without more discrimination, segregation and being called degrading names for practicing this protector.

Give peace a chance. His Holiness the Dalai Lama can generate great love towards Dorje Shugden and all the hundreds of thousands of Dorje Shugden practitioners that love the Dalai Lama and miss him like I do. May His Holiness the Dalai Lama bring peace and heal the rift with Dorje Shugden practitioners.

The Dorje Shugden ban has caused disharmony and disunity in the Tibetan in exile community. Monasteries and families are separated, friends and families don’t talk to each other anymore because of the ban. Dorje Shugden followers are not welcome in the hospitals, shops, restaurants, school and also the Dalai Lama’s teachings.

We might think the ban affects only the Tibetans in exile, but the ban also causes the Tibetan community in China to separate. This has happened in the Markham province in China. The ban must have created some social problems, that’s why the local government in Markham has issued a notice to prevent the public from using Dorje Shugden to divide the community.

The Dorje Shugden ban is imposed because the CTA needs a scapegoat to cover up what they have failed to deliver to the Tibetans in exile. The CTA has no intention to bring the Tibetans in exile back to Tibet nor do they want to fight for the independence of Tibet. The Dorje Shugden ban is a tactic for the CTA to distract people from knowing their real intention and their failure to fulfill what they have promised to the Tibetans in exile.

For the first time available, Dorje Shugden and his entourage of 32 asssistants of his mandala.

Dorje Shugden is a powerful protector deity who is also an emanation of Manjushri, a wisdom bestowing Buddha. Therefore, he has great ability to help us to progress further on the spiritual path. He does this by helping us to overcome obstacles and problems for the modern individual.

Due to his enlightened nature, Dorje Shugden is able to manifest 32 deities and within the same abode resides Setrap and Kache Marpo:-

1. 5 Dorje Shugden families or emanations. They consists of the following:-

– Dulzin Dorje Shugden, which performs activities to eliminate inner and outer obstacles.
– Shize, which performs activities to pacify all illnesses and disease.
– Gyenze, which performs activities to increase all desirable material and spiritual wealth.
– Wangze, which performs activities to control difficult people and circumstances.
– Trakze, which performs activities to wrathfully eliminate all insurmountable obstacles and life-threatening situations.

2. 9 Mothers. They represent protection of the five senses and developing control of the four elements. These are all attributes that signify their ability to assist tantric practitioners with their higher meditations.

3. 8 Guiding Monks. They represent the Eight Great Bodhisattvas (Avalokitesvara, Manjushri, Vajrapani, Samantabhadra, Maitreya, Kshitigarbha, Akashagarbha, Sarva-nivarana-viskambini) and they bring about the growth of the Dharma, through the Sangha, Dharma practitioners and Dharma establishments.

4. 10 Youthful & Wrathful Attendants. They represent the ten wrathful attendants to avert inner and outer obstacles. They are beings who are from Mongolia, China, Kashmir, India, Bengali, etc.

5. Setrap. He is a senior Dharma Protector from India and an emanation of Amitabha Buddha. He had enthroned Dorje Shugden as an authentic Dharma Protector. Therefore, he also resides within the same mandala of Dorje Shugden.

6. Kache Marpo. He is not an emanation of Dorje Shugden but he is still an enlightened Dharma Protector in his own right. He was originally known as Tsiu Marpo of Samye Monastery. However, he has placed himself under the service of Dorje Shugden as his chief minister, performing many activities in order to protect and benefit practitioners. Therefore, he stands guard at the main entrance of Dorje Shugden’s mandala. He often takes trance of qualified mediums to speak.

7. Namkar Barzin. He is the reincarnation of an old Mongolian monk and when he passed away in Phari area of Tibet, his spirit was placed as a powerful assistant of Dorje Shugden. He guards and protects buildings and great institutions especially those that benefit others. He rides on a mythical Gyaling animal that resembles a goat but with scales.

These sacred images are available on *Vajrasecrets. They are made of high quality alloy and are one of a kind. They are based on the lineage of His Holiness Panchen Rinpoche’s monastery, Tashilhunpo in Shigatse, Tibet. In fact, the iconography of these statues are based on detailed photographs taken by H. E. His Holiness the 10th Panchen Lama

Tibetans commonly refer to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and His Holiness 10th Panchen Lama as the “sun and moon” of Tibetan Buddhism. They are the center of Tibetan Buddhist civilization, which draws to its sphere of influence millions of non-Tibetan practitioners. The Panchen Lama’s incarnation line began with the 16th abbot of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Lobsang Chokyi Gyeltsen (1570 – 1662). He was bestowed the title of Panchen Lama by His Holiness the 5th Dalai Lama after being declared as an emanation of Amitabha.

After being given the title, his three previous incarnations were posthumously also bestowed the title, making Lobsang Chokyi Gyeltsen the 4th Panchen Lama. He became a teacher to many Tibetans, Bhutanese and Mongolian religious figures, including His Holiness the 4th and 5th Dalai Lamas, and the 1st Jetsun Dampa of Mongolia. A prolific author, Chokyi Gyeltsen is credited with over a hundred compositions, including a number of commentaries and ritual texts that remain central in the Gelukpa tradition today. Along with his role as a teacher of the Dharma, the Panchen Lamas are usually responsible for the recognition of the rebirths of the Dalai Lamas, and vice versa.

The 10th Panchen Lama, Lobsang Trinley Lhundrub Chokyi Gyeltsen (19 February 1938 – 28 January 1989) continued both the spiritual and political roles of his predecessors. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, his contemporary, was even heard to say and echo the Panchen Lama’s own words that the Dalai Lama would safeguard Tibet from the outside while the Panchen Lama would safeguard Tibet from the inside, as he never left Tibet after the political troubles of 1959. He was truly loved by the Tibetans, all the way until his passing. When he taught, thousands of people would attend, not only from his own Gelug lineage, but masters and practitioners from all traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.

At his sprawling monastery of Tashi Lhunpo, he has a special chapel specifically dedicated to Dorje Shugden, where prayers and rituals are performed on a daily basis. In his great omniscience the Panchen Lama held Dorje Shugden as the principal Dharma protector of the monastery. He also personally propitiated Dorje Shugden among other Dharma protectors, and even wrote extensive prayers and rituals to Dorje Shugden. These rituals and prayers are contained within his ‘sung bum’ or collected works, which are provided here. As such a great lama, with an erudite and clear understanding of the Buddhist scriptures, a teacher to millions in both Tibet and China, from an established incarnation line and an emanation of the Buddha Amitabha, he could not be mistaken about his practice of Dorje Shugden.

His Holiness 10th Panchen Lama is known for his composition of commentaries and practice texts that are still in use by contemporary Buddhist practitioners both in Tibet and across the world. One of these is a powerful ritual composition propitiating the compassionate Dorje Shugden.

Upon the request by Acharya Lobsang Jangchub to compose a shorter version of the prayer (sadhana) for the exhortation of activities of Dorje Shugden, Panchen Lama immediately composed an abbreviate form of Dorje Shugden’s Kangsol. This text is entitled “Manjunatha’s (Tsongkapa) Lineage protector Dorje Shugden and five forms wrathful propitiations and confessional prayers and fulfilment of activities rites” or “Melodious sound of Accomplishment of the Four Activities” for short. Once the prayers were completed, he had signs and strong feelings that Dorje Shugden has been working hard to protect the Buddhadharma in general and the lineage of Lama Tsongkhapa specifically.

Mirroring the abilities of one of his earlier incarnations, Khedrub Je, a disciple of Lama Tsongkhapa and master of both sutra and tantra, the Panchen Lama used his compositional skill and poetic prowess to create a masterful sadhana. Worthy of note is a praise in which the first letter of each verse is a Tibetan vowel. Such compositions are rarely seen, and have historically only been used when propitiating senior Dharma protectors such as Palden Lhamo and Kalarupa.

The Panchen Lama also stated that while composing the Dorje Shugden sadhana (prayers) he was filled with a sense of happiness and bliss. He ends the composition with not only his official title but his ordination name, Tenzin Trinley Jigme Choje Wangchuk, endorsing the validity of his work. He composed the sadhana in his own Tashi Lhunpo monastery while in the Hall of Clear Light and Bliss.

Dear Kecharians and friends,

Last night, I gave a teaching to a group of people who were in Kechara Forest Retreat. I shared with them the correct way to pray for our loved ones and why we shouldn’t “demand” Dorje Shugden with fulfilling our wishes but let Dorje Shugden decide what is the best outcome. He has infinite Manjushri wisdom beyond our own and we should trust this wisdom. Sometimes what we pray for is not what should be fulfilled. Sometimes what we don’t want turns out to be the better result in the future.

I also shared with them about a beautiful monk, Tsawa Pulthok Rinpoche, who was jailed and badly tortured by the soldiers for 19 years, starting back in 1959 in Lhasa, and yet he has no anger towards his torturers. He was released and had resettled in Nepal where I met him. For the remainder of his life, he spent his time in meditation, retreats and pujas for the public until he passed. He was glowing, happy and very proud of the fact he was a student of His Holiness Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche, which he told me when we met. He did full meditations on Vajra Yogini and short puja to Dorje Shugden daily in his small room in Kathmandu, Nepal where I had to honor to join in his prayers. He told me he was very happy to have his room to do his meditations, pujas and prayers openly. Whatever happened to him, he accepted as part of his karma and he spent much time in prison meditating and quietly teaching dharma to his other cellmates. He was very much respected in prison in Lhasa because he never showed anger, always meditated and consoled others, giving them great strength. He endured much hardship, torture and beatings but he never lost his monk vows. His full understanding of karma helped him not feel any anger or bitterness towards the soldiers. He told me that daily, he would meditate that the karma of others in prison would come to him. That all the torture and abuse he received was so others in prison did not have to suffer this. He said suffering for others was what kept him going and made him be able to endure the pain.

We are not bound by our experiences. We are bound by our choice. I also reminded those were present about the good person inside each and every one of us, and how we should not “bury” this good person with our excuses because the more excuses we give, the deeper this good person is buried and soon the layers of excuses will make it very difficult for us to find this good person. We are all beautiful good people and we should not let it get lost by lying, laziness, lack of integrity and procrastination. We all have a choice. If we have to make excuses, we should choose to make excuses to be a winner. When we win, we make ourselves happy and those around us happy.

The teaching session went well and it was spontaneous, and I requested the people who live and work in and around Kechara Forest Retreat for the talk. We had some good laughs to during the talk.

How can a nun curse someone they do not even know and wish the person to die quickly and be born in hell? What kind of nun is this? Shocking! What more she’s cursing a Buddhist teacher and a monk?! Is this the face of Bhutanese Buddhist?

This is so shameful for her as a nun, her teacher, her monastery, her country and her King. A sangha should not behave in such a manner. A Sangha should carry enlightened Buddha’s teachings of compassion and wisdom to benefit all sentient beings.

A Sangha is not supposed to promote hatred and certainly should not be cursing or wishing another person to die. That wish itself is already breaking one of the vows.
A Sangha is one of the 3 Jewels, an object of refuge. They should not behave like an uncivilized person with so much hate. This is how bad the Tibetan Leadership has spread their lies and hate about Dorje Shugden and Shugden Buddhist practitioners.

The unethical ban on Dorje Shugden practice is just not tenable, as there is no logical basis for it. The Tibetan government claims it has a democratic constitution. Yet, which democratic country today does not allow for religious freedom?

China, on the other hand, has declared that it allows freedom of religious practice, and supports the practice of Dorje Shugden officially. With this, China gives no room for schism or sectarianism to develop among its people. This is unlike what has happened with the Tibetan Leadership. The moment it banned the practice of Dorje Shugden, the ‘battle-lines’ were already drawn between the Dalai Lama camp and the Dorje Shugden camp, causing great schism and hostility of Dalai Lama followers towards Shugden followers.

It is clear that China has instituted this official recognition of Dorje Shugden practice for the sake of promoting stability ,peace, harmony and unity among its people. Hence, if anyone attempts to attack and criticise Shugden practitioners in Tibet, China, they will be prosecuted for creating conflict.

A true democracy allows everyone the freedom to exercise their human rights, including the freedom to practise any religion they want. In democratic countries, the government does not interfere with this right. Neither are democratic governments prejudiced against their citizens’ choice of religious belief. They do not force people to stop their religious practice or pass legislation criminalising people because of their religion.

The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), the Tibetan leadership who are based in Dharamsala are the exception. They are the only so-called ‘democratic’ leadership that puts a stranglehold on its people, persecuting them for their religious beliefs. They deny the rights of Dorje Shugden practitioners for simply practicing their religion as they have done for the past 400 years. Dorje Shugden practitioners are ostracised from their own community, denied medical care, education or even employment in government offices. The CTA definitely does not live up to the right to be called a democratic administration, especially when in it inflicts suppression of people’s freedom and disrespects basic human rights.

Thank you Rinpoche for sharing the public notice released by Markham County People’s Government. It is indeed a good news to all Dorje Shugden practitioners in Tibet when Markham County People’s Government had released the public notice to illegalize the ban of Dorje Shugden in order to prevent for any potential risk of destroying the stability and safety in that region, and most importantly allowing for religious freedom that can further promote harmony, peace and growth in many aspects. With this enforcement, Dorje Shugden practitioners who are living in Markham County can be assured that they are safely protected and able to practise Dorje Shugden with the peace of mind.

For any government in this world who have gone extra miles to develop and maintain for one nation’s stability and peace, they will never easily allow outer factors to become potential threats to the local community and go backwards negatively instead. Similarly for Tibet Autonomous Region, which is currently under the control and ruling of the Chinese government, there is no written law or legislation that allows for any segregation, prejudice, split or conflict that can disrupt the harmony and safety within the ruling area.

May the entire Tibet and China will continue to enforce the religious freedom and promote for peace and harmony among different sects of Buddhism for the benefit of all Dharma practitioners.

Markam has made a wise decision in making the Dorje Shugden ban illegal. The ban has caused hardship and suffering within the practitioners and non –practitioners and many more world wide. The Tibetan Leadership (CTA) headquartered in Dharamsala, has instituted this unnecessary and illogical ban against Dorje Shugden . China somehow has to protect and preserve the Dorje Shugden lineage in Tibet and allows religious freedom to all faiths and to create a harmonious , peaceful environment especially in Tibet. Its wonderful that in Markham County in Tibet, anyone using this as an issue to disharmony among the communities will be prosecuted. With Markham taking the lead ,do hope more will follow to make this ban illegal and to create a harmonious and peaceful country.
May HH Dalai Lama please lift the ban soon with folded hands.

Trode Khangsar Chapel in Lhasa, Tibet

Over 400 years ago a great and learned lama Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen was famed in Mongolia, Tibet, Nepal and China for being very saintly and compassionate. He resided in his residence (Zimkhang Gongma Ladrang) in Drepung Monastery. His root guru was H.H. the Omniscient 4th Panchen Lama and his close dharma brother was the 5th Dalai Lama.

The 5th Dalai Lama and Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen had a very close and dharmic relationship and often went to receive teachings together from the 4th Panchen Lama. They were close in age. They both became very learned and well known. During this time, the Dalai Lama was enthroned as a Dharma King of Tibet. But more people went to see Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen for teachings, initiations and divinations. This made the attendants of the 5th Dalai Lama feel threatened that Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen’s fame might usurp the power of the 5th Dalai Lama. So they had a khata forced down his throat. At that moment, Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen dissolved his psychic winds and generated the wish to be a great guardian of Buddha and Tsongkapa’s teachings. As his consciousness dissolved, he entered ‘bardo’ as a dharma protector of the highest order (jikten depey sungma). Many signs were seen throughout Lhasa at this time and the earth was said to have shaken in Lhasa. This event was already predicted to Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen’s previous incarnation when he was one of the 8 main disciples of Lord Tsongkapa the Supreme Master and he served Tsongkapa directly by building Gaden Monastery.

When the 5th Dalai Lama heard what his scheming and power-hungry attendants had done, he was very distressed. He was very sorry Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen was murdered and dishonored as he was a great dharma master. The 5th Dalai Lama composed an apology to Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen. In Lhasa, tens of thousands gathered for the cremation of Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen’s holy body. During the cremation, the 5th Dalai Lama’s apology was read out at which flames spontaneously arose from the body of Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen commencing the cremation. From the body, during cremation, a powerful whirlwind of smoke tunneled into the sky for all to see as this was an indication Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen’s consciousness has arisen as the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden. The Dharma Protector Setrap immediately recognized this new protector Dorje Shugden and ‘enthroned’ him as a powerful Dharma Protector in the realm of the Buddhas. From this, Setrap and Dorje Shugden are closely connected and very close working hand in hand always. After the cremation, the great 5th Dalai Lama built a Dorje Shugden chapel on the spot the cremation took place and named it Trode Khangsar. The 5th Dalai Lama commissioned the statue of Dorje Shugden in this chapel and had monks installed in the chapel to do continuous propitiations to Dorje Shugden. Trode Khangsar Chapel was a commemoration to Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen who was wronged and also a celebration of his consciousness arising as the World Peace Peace Protector Dorje Shugden.

This Trode Khangsar Chapel still exists now in Lhasa where many make pilgrimages there. It is in good condition and was recently renovated. It is over 400 years old and a testimony to the respect the Great 5th Dalai Lama had to Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen who arose as Dorje Shugden.

I have visited this holy chapel in Lhasa years back. I’ve never heard of it till I was in Lhasa and by chance, I was told about it which I was happy to visit. I could not find the place but strangely a bunch of pilgrims from Amdo told me they would show me how to get there in Lhasa.

This short video is a short clip of this holy Trode Khangsar Chapel in Lhasa today commemorating Dorje Shugden, built by the great 5th Dalai Lama. The great 5th Dalai Lama even composed a prayer to Dorje Shugden which is still available today and we can recite to invoke the blessings, protection, and assistance of World Peace Protector Dorje Shugden.

I respect the Markham government in enforcing laws to make the ban on Shugden illegal. This law is against those who use the conflict of the practice of Protector Dorje Shugden to incite religious discriminations, create social conflicts, destroy national unity, and attempt to split the motherland.

It is extremely important to have this law. Everyone has human rights and religios freedom. The segregation and discrimination have bring lots of suffering to Dorje Shugden practioners.

With more of this article being shared via social media, I hope more people are aware of this unfair treatment and will help lift the ban.

中国允许并保存多杰雄登的修持，更赋予各个宗教信仰自由。在西藏的芒康县利用多杰雄登的课题制造分裂，就会因此而被起诉，那是件可喜的事，这证明了中国政府中立的看待宗教信仰。

政府本应在人民之间制造和谐，而非制造和鼓励纷争。希望西藏流亡政府不再干涉人们的信仰选择，让人民拥有宗教自由，那才是双赢的策略，人民就不会因宗教信仰的限制，再度受苦！

It is really a good start and good move for making the Dorje Shugden ban illegal! This is very much needed and necessary for the CTA to see and learn from which protects many people from being discriminate and hurt in anyway just because they choose to be Dorje Shugden practitioners.

The Dorje Shugden ban is causing so much sufferings in not only the Tibetan community in exile but also those outside of it. Shugden practitioners are not allowed to get in touch with their families, friends etc.; are denied their human rights – banned from seeking medical assistance, working or visiting government organisation, buying daily groceries, going to school…just because of their religious practice. There are signs everywhere in hospitals, shops, schools to enforce this illegal ban causing all Shugden practitioners great griefs.

Markam’s action is a good start in reducing the pain and we wish very much many will follow and eventually lift the ban for good!

This letter shows proof that there is so much discrimination towards Dorje Shugden practitioners that the government has to issue a letter to forbid it. So for those who keep denying that there is no ban and no discrimination, tell that to the Chinese government and see what they say. There is so much evidence of this discrimination that it becomes ridiculous for even denying it.

Every country has it’s flaws and strengths and none are perfect. So to point fingers at each other is not a solution if we truly want to help each other. China’s decision to arrest religious discrimination because it causes social unrest, is, in my opinion, the right move. Any country that is chaotic will not progress. So for the sake of the 1 billion plus citizens of China, any social unrest should not be tolerated.

As for the Tibetan Govt in Exile, better known as Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), it’s time they wake up that they have failed miserably in getting Tibet back. The entire world is trying to get into China’s good books due to economic reasons. Big boys like USA and UK are mending ties with China. So for CTA to continue criticizing China and making them their enemy is not a wise choice. They will only make it more difficult for themselves to receive donations and grants from countries that want to be in good relations with China.

So either CTA changes their stance and make friends with China in order to survive into the future, or they continue to aggravate China and eventually be alone after all the friendly countries stop supporting them.

Finally!! China put her feet down, set the law to stop the ANTI-SHUGDEN people from splitting away their community.

More than 400 years, Tibetan has been practicing Dorje Shugden as their Dharma Protector to help them in their spiritual path. They never have any issues of harming others nor involving in politic. Dorje Shugden practice is always align with Lord Buddha’s teachings which is practicing compassion and love to all sentient being. Lord Buddha says: study so that understand the logic of Dharma and gain wisdom not following blindly. All Buddhist want peace. Buddhist practices everything so that peace is among all mankind and sentient beings EQUALLY.

I am very grateful that Chinese goverment is making it illegal for the sake of the people of China to have harmony and peace. This is an extremely important issue. I am glad they are care enough to stop this seriously and to protect the people in MARKAM. May all province make Dorje Shugden’s ban illegal just like MARKAM to protect them for creating unnecessary disharmony issues among 1,379,873,648 people in China due to the ban of Dorje Shugden.

一个民主的国家都会以人民为主，达到一定的共识，然后设立严谨的条例或措施来维护和保障人民的利益。而芒康县人民政府也因为要维护人民的安全与和平相处，因此颁布此通告来制止他人有意利用多杰雄登（俱力护法神）供废分歧而制造社会的纷争。此通告里的十条规例非常清楚的列出，如果他人意图的利用多杰雄登的课题来制造纷争和破坏民族团结等，此人将会被起诉和负起刑事的责任。

这是一个值得高兴和赞扬的公告。因为一个开明的政府，才能够让当地人民可以有信仰自由的保障和继续地修持多杰雄登。而当每个人都可得到护法的庇佑，他们不但可以专心的持修和同时也可以宣扬佛法，利益更多人。

虽然目前芒康县的人口只有八万一千人得到人民政府的保障，可以继续地修持多杰雄登。不过，相信不久的将来，芒康县的附近，如贡觉县、左贡县、察雅县等等甚至整个中国或是世界各地的政府都可以了解到多杰雄登护法是可以带给每个人和平与和谐。

It is great to know that China is taking the initiative to enforce religious freedom to create harmony within the country. China has progressed and developed so much and the CTA should heed and follow China’s great leadership. While the CTA is causing so much sufferings and pain by creating religious disharmony, schism and discrimination, China is wise enough to promote religious freedom to create a harmonious and peaceful country.

国家国家，没有国，那里会有家呢？多年前慈悲的印度给了藏人一个家，可是藏人领导人没有好好的去照顾与让大家成长，帮助印度。

他们沉迷权利，利用宗教莫取利益。制造了许多的不和平，执照许多无中生有的谣言伤害修行多杰雄登护法的喇嘛与人民。强逼他们离开他们的寺院与家人，这是一个政府应该做的吗？

甚至不让持修多杰雄登的每一位去学校，医院，餐馆，医院还有等等的! 制造各种的排斥，是一个政府的所做所谓吗？

It is great news that China is enforcing freedom of religion and to practice any religion its citizens want to.

It is very encouraging since China has been very communistic.

Even China, a strong country, allows freedom to practice any religion.. why should an exiled government even need to enforce a ban and create disharmony amongst its people?

We are not in yesteryears where there is no accessibility to communications, to media, to technology. CTA should move on with times and see that creating a ban is not helpful and creating ill-will and non-unity with the citizens.

To unite the country, to regain the country, the people should be united.

I am happy to see this initiative from the Chinese leadership. They may not be perfect but at least they are taking steps in the right direction. To issue such a notice, and to issue a response in the way they did to the Reuters report (https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/dorje-shugden/china-officially-supports-dorje-shugden.html), is an indication that they do pay attention to the voices of their people. They are perhaps just a little slower than what we *expect* of them and there’s nothing wrong about that.

What people don’t understand when they make demands of China is that it is not easy for China, which has a rich and complex history, to make such changes. Their announcements and their policies affect a sixth of the earth’s population; to disseminate the information and ensure it is implemented evenly across their nation takes a lot of careful planning.

It is a sixth of the world’s population that they have to feed, educate, employ and keep happy, and make sure that their demands are met as much as possible. The Chinese leadership are dealing with the unique characteristics, histories, cultures and demands of 56 ethnic groups. Give one group what they want, and it could potentially destablise another area of the country and lead to more suffering for the people there.

So I think people need to stop demanding that China imposes Western ideals of democracy, because such ideals just don’t apply in a country as complex and vast as China…what other country has 56 ethnic minorities to deal with?! So seriously, give China a break. Let them make such pronouncements and congratulate them for it, and show them that there is appreciation for their efforts. It’s not easy being the Chinese leadership, no matter how much people want to demonise and turn them into monsters for being in the position that they are.

At last, we Shugden practitioners, have been shown justice by the world’s second economy and a raising world power, CHINA.

Over the last 60 years, China has progressed tremendously both on the world political stage and also the international economical arena and what had the CTA achieved.

It is time to wake up, CTA and follow the latest world leadership and not continue with the old fashion manner of controlling your people and on such a issue of ban on religious freedom to worship a deity of 400 years repute.

Time to stop this act of discrimination, suffering and deprivation to Dorje Shugden devotees.

The exiled Tibetan leadership (CTA) over the last 60 years had failed to establish their presence in any significant international organizations such as the United Nations or the League of Nations, nor managed to obtain any recognition of their sovereignty. Also, by CTA’s failure to modernize and develop, they have been unable to mount a convincing case as a capable and independent ruler of the cultural rich but resource poor Tibet.

On the other hand, China who embarked on accelerated development programs to catch up on the social-economic progress, had shifted her global strategic positioning and stance towards religious role amongst the people. This gives rise to the vision of a possibly more autonomous Tibet who would still remain part of China.

With this run up, the issuance of the new law by Markham County to crack down on using the issue of Protector Dorje Shugden practice to create social conflict is a calculated strategic move to severely defuse the ethnicity sentiment among exile Tibetans while promising freedom of religion. Any move from CTA that further oppress or suppress religious freedom of the Tibetans will be fatal in nature.

Remember, when you finger point at others, 3 of your own fingers point back at yourself. Hence, to make accusations, pass judgements and speak poorly of others, you must ensure your own slate is spick and span clean.

It is obvious that the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) is the “pot calling the kettle black” when the Tibetan leadership that aggressively impose the Dorje Shugden ban by discriminating practitioners from accessing the most basic and fundamental needs such as medical attention, openly and repeatedly accuse China for having no religious freedom.

To make matters worst, not only is China addressing its human rights issue by encouraging religious for its people, China is now protecting Dorje Shugden practitioners from their own leadership with this Public Note.

The CTA should be very ashamed of themselves. Not only have they failed to provide and care for its people, the CTA is like a cancer that is killing anyhting left of the Tibetan culture and tradition by its dogged execution of a ban that they do not even truly understand.

If China can recognize the need for peace through accepting diversity and differences, we must follow suit. We must end this ridiculous ban on Dorje Shugden which has caused nothing but heartache, material loss and emotional damage.

The CTA pushes and enforce ban on Dorje Shugden to their community, where many school, monasteries, hospitals, shops not allowing Dorje Shugden practitioner to enter which has created so much conflict and division amongst the Tibetan.

But in Markham Tibet it is totally different story, the local authority place a new policy to make it illegal to ban Dorje Shugden. This is a big step forward in seeing the Chinese Government is opening up on it policy of religious freedom and safeguarding the harmony of its people.

If CTA is safeguarding the interest of the Tibetan Community in India, then they should be emulating what Markham is doing by allowing total religious freedom to all, including lifting the ban on Dorje Shugden and by allowing their people the choice to practice openly without being suppressed of discriminated upon.

Dear Rinpoche,

Thank you for sharing this exciting news. It is a very good news to see that some part of Tibet had stood against the Dalai Lama’s “advice” which is the Dorje Shugden ban. This ban on Dorje Shugden practice had lasted 19 years, where Dorje Shugden practitioners are being shunned aside, alienated, and violated of their basic human rights.

China had already given their stand on Dorje Shugden issue where they will support religious freedom and they will protect Dorje Shugden practitioners via laws. I pray that the ban will be lifted as soon as possible so that the peace can be restored to Dorje SHugden practitioners.

      At least China is making strides in the right direction and for that they should be encouraged. Dharamsala on the other hand, is supposedly “Buddhist” yet continues to insist on discrimination.       Sera Je Monastery recently issued a notice stating that non-Shugden worshippers would be given a badge to identify themselves. Is THIS religious freedom? Even China hasn’t issued such things to differentiate between the various religions!

It is good to know that there is a county in China where Dorje Shugden’s practice is protected by law. In general, the Chinese authorities are supportive of the practice in the country and Tibetans can safely practice Dorje Shugden in China. In western countries, there is religious freedom on the whole and Shugden followers do not encounter any problems. I agree that the only way to unite the Tibetan people is to remove religious discrimination and to have a secular form of government that promotes harmony among the people.

I notice the letter dated 20-Jan-2016. It mean a lot as its a very good start for 2016, the start of journey for justice towards lifting the unethical BAN on Dorje Shugden.
Rejoice yet lots more efforts needed to create awareness until the unethical Ban are lifted officially.

In the end, be it the appeal to Dalai Lama to lift the ban on Shugden practice or the steps taken by the Chinese government to stop the people in Tibet, China, from supporting the ban , there are 2 things that we must continue to emphatically and peacefully and respectfully support – 1)the freedom of everyone to practice the faith of their choice and 2) the end to the conflict, schism, discrimination, persecution, and needless suffering, which the ban has brought to Shugden practitioners.

Thus while it appears that the CTA is doing everything it can to create conflict and schism within the Tibetan community in exile, promoting discrimination, persecution and suffering ,with the ban against Shugden people , the Chinese government, on the other hand, appears to be working to ensure religious freedom and harmony, peace and unity and social stability, through allowing freedom of religion.

Thus long term, we can see the continued preservation of Shugden practice in China, which will lead to the spread and flourishing of the lineage teachings and practices of Je Tsongkhapa (so very necessary for people in this degenerate age) for which Shugden rose to protect, whilst,elsewhere, if the ban continues, the conflict and lack of harmony and unity, will not help in anyway to preserve and spread the Dharma.

Lord Buddha found the way out of suffering, and to peace, for us in the Dharma. Where there is no growth of Dharma or little growth of Dharma, how will suffering cease?

Thank you for sharing this. This is indeed very encouraging news. Hopefully, we will see more places making it illegal to ban Dorje Shugden practice. The ban imposed by CTA is clearly hurting them as well. Instead of marginalising Dorje Shugden practitioners, CTA should realise that it is more beneficial for them to lift the ban and unite all Buddhists to regain their past glory. Logically speaking, who would want to be governed by a government that discriminates based on religious beliefs? If it was me, I would want a government that fosters harmony, peace and allows all citizens to enjoy their human rights such as religious freedom. My humble 2 cents.

I don’t know what will happen later. But for sure His Holiness the Dalai Lama words against Dorje Shugden is strong. But then if we create more awareness to change things, things can change. I still love and respect Dalai Lama and many cannot understand that. I just don’t agree with the ban and I feel we should speak out as much as possible. Yes the hate against Shugden followers will not end soon and I’ve gotten plenty of hate from people I have never met before, but that does not matter. I have lost so much in friends and reputation because I speak up and I will continue to. By speaking up and ‘absorbing’ all the hatred I have to endure, many more will benefit from Dorje Shugden’s practice. If by all the hatred I endure, many will be benefitted, then it is okay with me and I will continue. Hatred toward Dorje Shugden practitioners will lessen and we have to make that happen and it’s possible. Please create more awareness of this ban. I thank you . Tsem Rinpoche.

  Yup, so sure, everything is change, & nothing is permanent, including CTA. The ban on Dorje Shugden goes much deeper than H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama, is being used as a pawn in a global scheme of things via “powers-that-be”, are ‘Luciferians’.     Illuminati or otherwise, nothing is permanent but how long it remains is how clearly and loudly we speak up, and create the causes for a change. Remaining silent allows the “powers-that-be” (as you put it) to think that they can get away with their actions.
    
    You may believe His Holiness the Dalai Lama is a pawn but to call him a pawn is to assume there are other players in the game, because it’s not possible for a singular pawn. So speaking up pressures the players and the controllers to do something about the situation. Raising awareness, debating with anti-Shugden people, respectfully applying pressure to the leadership are all necessary components in releasing the ban against Shugden, if we want to see a change.

    I noticed for every other post you just signed off as Tempa but for your ‘poem’ you signed off in your full name. You really are DYING FOR ATTENTION, CREDIT AND RECOGNITION. You hope if this matrix poem goes viral, you will get credit. You need the attention. I guess this blog site with over 7 million views is a good place for you. The viewership is bringing the truth about the cruel and outdated medieval ban against Dorje Shugden to thousands daily. Awareness is growing on the ban. The more this blog reaches people, the more the truth will spread out. No leader secular or spiritual SHOULD EVER ADVISE AGAINST ANOTHER MAN’S RELIGION. The leaders should keep quiet and stop creating more schism among human kind. Stop using religion to divide people. No leader has the right to encourage hatred toward another spiritual path. The Dalai Lama is wrong. He should never speak against Dorje Shugden and he should never ban their followers from attending his Tibetan SECULAR gatherings. The followers of Dorje Shugden are Tibetans too and regardless of their faith, Dalai Lama as the ‘head of Tibet’ should gather all of them and unite them regardless of religion. All Muslim, Bon, atheist, Nyingma, Kagyu, Gelug, Sakya, gay, male, female Tibetans should be UNITED based on them being Tibetan and not their spiritual choice. Dalai Lama is wrong. How about if Abe, Cameron, Obama, Merkel, Pope, Hollande, Trudeau and the rest of them start disallowing their citizens certain rights, participation in the mainstream because of a certain religion they practice? Would you accept that? NO, NO ONE WOULD. So why is Dalai Lama the exception?
    
    I’ve never met Tsem Rinpoche, but he is brave and he does speak up. I hope he keeps doing so! Many people are behind him. Just for this alone, he has my respects and the respects of thousands of Tibetans and Tibetan Buddhists around the world. Why is he brave? Because the Dalai Lama followers are dangerous, violent and fanatical. They threaten you if you disobey.

        I have done my research well and so have thousands of others who are hurt badly by this monstrous ban against our spiritual practice. No one had any issues with Dalai Lama till he started this ban in 1996. I am glad the admins have posted what I submitted here for all to see. Thousands will see what I have posted. We can see who the Dalai Lama has been calling his friends who are Nazis who killed many and yet Dalai Lama condemns Dorje Shugden people. As if murderous Nazis are fine to be friends with. It’s fine to be good friends with Nazis and support them and take pictures with them but not Shugden people. His own Shugden people are TIBETANS. They are his people for truth sakes.

So much scandal and shame and corruption. And no I don’t hate him, that is your blind assumption. You don’t know me. I don’t like his Shugden policy that has hurt so many and it ends there. I have donated so much to Dalai Lama and his institutions prior to the ban for over a decade. You respecting/liking Dalai Lama does not give you the authority to override other’s religious beliefs and criticize. Dalai Lama does not like Shugden and that is fine, don’t practice and don’t criticize. Shugden practice exists today because many massive high lamas in the hundreds have been practicing Dorje Shugden for four hundred years. They were not pawns to anyone. This is way before the Dalai Lama. There is a lineage, practice and history.
        
        Make it simple: DALAI LAMA AS A RELIGOUS LEADER SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE AND HOLD HIS SPEECH WHEN CRITICIZING ANOTHER PERSON’S RELGION especially when dealing with DEMOCRATIC countries where he gets his money from and he is a public person. The public is watching. If Dalai Lama is going to open his mouth, he should be aware there will be people who respond back. That he has made many mistakes and it is out there when you do the research and it can be brought up. He is not above anyone to be told he is wrong. Your respect of Dalai Lama does not make you better or give you the right to put another person’s religion down. It is your right to respect him and that’s fine. That is very personal and it is a very personal attack when you do so. There are thousands out there who are criminals, murderers, rapists, thieves, corrupt leaders who love this or that god, deity, Buddha, God, guru, temple, doctrine or whatever, so what? That does not mean anything what they believe in. You are who you are and not who you love or believe in. You have no right to say anything about anyone’s religion. You have no moral authority to come to another person’s blog to tell them they are wrong. You don’t like it, don’t come. Simple.
        
        If you are not Christian, stop using Christian terms, you started it. Lucifer? Satan? You used it. I don’t care if you are Christian or not. I don’t care to talk about your religion or lack of it as it’s your business and your right to do as you like. I don’t criticize your religion. So don’t criticize mine about mine. If Shugden is good, I go to heaven as the old adage goes, if not I go to hell. The end. None of your business.
        
        I am a human being living in a democratic country that does not allow any leader to criticize my religion. I choose my religion and if a leader is going to speak out then so will I. I do not need ANY reasons to practice Dorje Shugden other than I want to. I do not need to justify any reasons to you or any leader such as Dalai Lama or anyone. The Dalai Lama criticizes my spiritual faith, then I will speak up. He should practice tolerance of all religions! The end.
        
        Dorje Shugden practice will grow and even more. Thousands of Dorje Shugden lamas and monks being trained in Tibet, India and abroad. I will continue sponsoring and giving my business profits to the training places of these monks. I use to give it to the Dalai Lama and followed him till he started the ban and hurt so many. I was shocked as many were. Dorje Shugden Tulkus are all back and growing up strong and healthy. Let’s be logical and practical-The Dalai Lama is in his 80’s and how long will he live? When he is gone, Dorje Shugden’s practice will grow further and bigger. No one can stop this.
        
        Have a nice day and don’t be sensitive to take this passionate debate as personal attacks because you are not worth anything to me to attack you. If the evidence I have presented to you about the Dalai Lama’s friends are overwhelming, you can imagine how everyone else feels. I write to counter what you have said as thousands will read this and that is the REAL reason I am responding. You started it and someone spoke up. I spoke up. I love Dorje Shugden.     Asahara now is prison in Japan for the lethal gas he had his cult members commit. He touted himself as a great spiritual leader and the Dalai Lama knew this. He requested for meeting in Dalai Lama’s private quarters and was granted. During the meeting millions were offered to Dalai Lama. Asahara wanted pictures with Dalai Lama to ‘validate’ his spiritual ministry. Now he is on death row for teaching doctrines on murder and carrying it out on innocent people. He is Dalai Lama’s good friend. A murderer like Asahara can see Dalai Lama, attend talks and be friends but Shugden people cannot. Something convoluted about this.

I’m not a Christian or a Buddhist affiliated but am loyal to my Tibetan heritage,100%! Christians have been exposing this evil agenda for decades, to help awaken people regardless of whatever religion, due to their faith being attacked by luciferians. So, what contribution have y’all made in helping to expose this evil agenda on our planet, other than your only concern for your personal belief?

        The Dalai lama should stop interfering in the Dorje Shugden spiritual practice that has a history of four hundred years. It has only created pain and suffering and not unification but separation. He should accept all Tibetans for who they are not and not who they worship.
        
        He and his government has created so many self-made problems to name a few:
        
        1. Dalai Lama’s corrupt government in exile being called out for unfair practices and corruption. Read the letter from US Congressman Dana Rohrabacher where he accuses of Dalai Lama’s government of unfair practices carefully. Financial aid to Tibetan government is lessening. Less governments want to be seen with Dalai Lama.
        
        2. Drukchen Rinpoche is asking the sectarian practices of Karma Kagyu school to stop.

Hope I’ve been a little help in exposing the evil that controls our planet covertly hence, obviously the “the ban”, to me.
