Dear Dalai Lama, With Folded Hands (Free Download)
Dear friends around the world,
These picture messages (memes) are to educate and highlight the heavy-handed discrimination that we as Dorje Shugden practitioners are experiencing worldwide since 1996, among so many of us, many of whom are without a voice. Please share these images with your family, friends and loved ones. We have to bring this message across peacefully. My meme messages are not meant to be disrespectful to His Holiness the Dalai Lama whom I respect. But His Holiness is very powerful and influential among the Tibetans. One word from him and the discrimination and hatred against Dorje Shugden practitioners will end.
We have the right to practice any religion or faith or path we choose. Right or ‘wrong’ it is up to us. Every major mainstream religion that exists have both the faithful and detractors. There are people who believe certain mainstream religions are evil and some who believe the same religions are the supreme method to heaven. Everyone has their own opinions and the arguments will never end. Solution? Give religious freedom without prejudice to all. In past human history many spiritual leaders had condemned the religions of others and it exacted terrible disasters and unnecessary sufferings. We are now in the 21st century and no spiritual or secular leader should ‘advise’ or preach against anyone’s faith. In the end harmony is more important than which religion is right or wrong. Which one brings you to heaven or hell. We need harmony on this small blue planet. Religion can be a major contributor towards peace and global harmony or a huge instigator of warfare. It is up to the followers and more so the leaders of various religions. For a religious leader to say if you don’t follow my religion or you choose your own, therefore I will not be involved with you nor you can be involved with me or my flock, is really tremendously harmful. It allows further prejudice and superiority views to be sanctified by religion. Religious leaders should never criticize or discourage anyone’s religion. When you make the strangle-hold too strong, people will be driven from religion.
With respect to all religions, may the prejudice promoted by the Tibetan leadership end soon as it has caused much unnecessary sufferings,
Humbly,
Tsem Rinpoche
