Wow! I LOVE this. I am always surprised by your upbeat way to deliver Buddha to everyone, and your innovation, of course! Thanks for keeping us all in the dharma. Thanks to you and your blog, which I was so attracted to, I found my teacher, Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche, I am so grateful for him and I just want you to know that you have a big part in my meeting him, when I became interested in Buddhism I went on this blog to find out more, your open attitude, truth and sincerity was enough for me to say this was going to be my path. I am fortunate to receive a lot of messages always that my blog [www.tsemrinpoche.com] has benefitted many people and brought them into dharma and even inspired them to find their guru. That is wonderful! Once they find their guru, they start their study of dharma and if dharma is applied, will transform their minds and situations dramatically for their better. That is the best part!! Their transformations will be and has been due to their practice and my blog had something to do with this-THAT IS WONDERFUL.
All those who assist me with my blog, must rejoice in the positive differences we make for the betterment in many people’s lives. It’s humbling that we have the privilege to serve and benefit others. They allow us the opportunity so we can feel good about ourselves. People we never met but we benefit. Our thousands of hours of sincere work on the technical side of the blog, writing, design, upgrading, researching, etc. has value and brought value to others and we have asked for nothing back except their betterment.
A blog today can traverse thousands of miles to bring dharma to many. It is worth the hard work, consistent efforts we put into our blog. Blogs can be the expression of compassion or practice of compassion. The more we do, the more we benefit others.

Rinpoche is not about collecting many students or getting a reputation. If Rinpoche can he just like to benefit many sentient beings. And by having a blog that brings benefit to all regardless of creed or denomination is the mark of a mahasattva who benefits many sentient beings.

It is true Rinpoche’s bog touched many people’s hearts and changes their lives.
I have friends who treat Rinpoche’s blog as “fortune sticks” you will find in Chinese temples. They will randomly open an article from the blog and gain insights or some mind transformation to their situation at that time and move on to something positive.
As Rinpoche’s student, I am honoured that my guru’s blog helped / helps many transform their lives and they live better. With Dharma.

My heart is joyous and I rejoice too that many have found their way to Rinpoche’s blog,and have been drawn to the dharma (that Lord Buddha taught 2600 years ago) by the openness and innovative style of Rinpoche, and by his honest statement of the truth and his sincerity.Indeed, many have found vast benefits and transformed themselves. Thanks to the internet, many can learn Dharma easily at home. I myself started learning Dharma from Rinpoche on the internet too. I came to the blog and watched youtube teachings. I am very fortunate that I live in Malaysia, so I could come to the centre to volunteer (which is like the practical class) and ultimately become a full time staff here. It is through Rinpoche’s blog that many has benefitted from the sharing of his enlightened dharma teachings. His dharma teachings have brought many into the dharma path too. The dharma path is obviously the most comfortable, most perfect, uncomplicated and free of any extremes, as agreed by all Dharma teachers. It is also through dharma which gives us the blessings to discover the root causes of sufferings and to bring mindfulness and compassion to what we see and feel in our hearts and mind. We may not be able to prevent the disaster of life, but we at least find skillful ways to unbind oue sense of being, so that suffering is transformed into an wakened heart that can do great good in the world. As Lord Buddha put it, quote: “If the causes we create arised from wisdom, so will the end results. If causes we create arised from ignorance, so then will the result.” So learning dharma will do us a World of good!

we live in this era where most of our success are measured in how much money we make, the car we drive, etc. and very few emphasis is given to how much we have benefitted others. and yet we know, the more we benefit others, the more happy we become; and don’t we all want happiness?

I like this post… it is an honest truth that we tend to lie to ourselves and end up believing in it… like we’ve been brainwashed to think in this manner as the media uses this very delusion to increase “consumer” desire. But truth is usually not a bed of roses without the thorns.
Reminds me of this wise words of wisdom posted by Rinpoche on Rinpoche’s FB page…
