All Living Things Subject To Be Destroyed. All Are Impermanent
From TheBuddhism.Net
Buddha Gaya in Bihar can be considered as heart of all worldwide Buddhists. It has a history of 2600 years.
Today this sacred place was targeted with a serious of bomb explosions by inhumane, extremist terrorists. We express our deepest condolences in this regard and we join with you to condemn this barbarous and brutal attack on Buddhists’s most sacred place.
If you can remember, there was a tragic incident happened in Afghanistan which caused a destruction of gigantic and historic Buddha statues. It shocked Buddhists all over the world and the people and the government of Afghanistan are suffering the consequences of that sin.Anyone can’t escape from the law of Karma and no place can be found to escape. People who take weapon will be destroyed by weapon. This is an eternal truth. This is greatly demonstrated from what is happening in that country.
As Buddhists, let’s be watchful on this incident with patience. Everyone should understand that impermanent nature. Anyone shouldn’t be pride with their power which may arise from weapon or anything else.
As World Buddhist Sangha Youth of Sri Lanka, we strongly condemn this tragic incident. We wish speedy and restful recovery to Burmese and Tibet monks who were wounded in this tragedy. Finally, we hope that Indian and Bihar government would bring all the responsible culprits into justice.
May triple gem bless you !

Bodh Gaya is a religious site and place of pilgrimage in Bihar of The place is famous as it is the place where Gautama Buddha is said to have obtained Enlightenment. Sadly this sacred place was targeted with a serious of bomb explosions by extremist terrorists. Terror struck the temple town of Bodh Gaya in Bihar, as nine serial explosions rocked the Mahabodhi Temple. The same like tragic incident happened in Afghanistan where most of the ancient gigantic and historic Buddha statues were destroyed. Many Buddhists and people all over the world were saddened and shocked. To the present situation the people of Afghanistan are suffering the consequences of that sin. That’s the Law of karma. What goes around come around. Karma exists. Should respect each other religion and should treasure those ancient and historic religious sites.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing.
A sinful act and the most cruel form of attack that anyone could do to destroy this Holy place and to physically wounded the monks there. I am utterly speechless and deeply angered by this inhumane act. I hope justice would prevail soon for those responsible. These people have no respect for other religions and thought they would have gotten away just like that. I wish this thing will not happen again anywhere in this world on all Holy places be it sacred temples, churches, mosques or others. I pray for peace and religion harmony amongst all people.
Everything in life is impermanent and is affected by karma. I think that this bombing is probably due to previous negative karma of practitioners. I do hope that this tragic incident does not happen again and I wish for the recovery of all those who were injured in the blast.
