Rathna Sutta

Our great Gautama Buddha recited the Rathna Sutta to end the three fears; famine, evil spirit & dreadful disease in Waishali and brought back the city to prosperity.

Thank Buddha for this teaching who pacifies spirits, gods and men alike and bring them to happiness that is both temporal and permanent. The dharma and its pure practitioners striving for enlightenment cannot be overcome by supernatural beings the dharma is TRUTH and how can you overcome the truth, and the people like Sangha who have realised the truth, the truth resides in their minds. What being can overcome the absolute truth?
Dear Tsem Tulku Rinpoche,
Many thanks once again for this post 🙂
Now that I am aware of this precious teaching from Lord Gautama Buddha. I will integrate them into my daily Sadhana ( Lojong – 8 verses of Mind Transformation ) and contemplate further.
Sincerely,
Jack Ng
