The way a person who meditates should groom himself according to ‘Karaniyametta Sutta’
• Develop skills and talents
• Behave straightforward
• Act with absolute honesty
• Be obedient
• Have a gentle nature
• Never be conceited
• Always be in high spirits
• Should be able to accomplish sustenance and other necessary activities without difficulty
• Do what one can and, be able to do only (Not to grab excessive work beyond one’s ability)
• Be simple
• Have a calm and composed faculty of sense
• Have intelligence
• Not to be stubborn and unruly
• Not to have fixed attachments to families and relationships
• Not do a single wrong thing which would annoy the intellectuals
• Never cheat
• Never verbally abuse others
• Never wish evil to befall on others because of hatred and anger
