This is funny not because of the mugshots but because how the post has been designed to give varying ideas. And true enough, what I saw was surprising and gave me a cheerful laugh. Nice to see the faces of Kecharian. Thank you for sharing.
This is so funny. I thought I was going to see something out of a horror movie but I didn’t know I would see the faces of Kecharians here but thank you Rinpoche for making something like this.?
Lol….this is something really cool, simple and funny to perk me up from tiredness! I was thinking of maybe something really gruesome at the end of the article. 🙂 🙂 .Thank you very much Rinpoche for this funny post..hehe
Oh… C’mon…. Would you believe a Rinpoche will post this up in the blog…
by the way, I HAVEN’T officially taken my Refuge yet, my dearest Rinpoche!
(I am actually thinking whether these Kecharians will ever dare to read this article again!)
This is so funny, I thought that it’s gonna be something really scary. Who knows that it’s actually photos of some Kecharians, hahaha..
Rinpoche always has His own way of making others smile/laugh.
Thank You for sharing Rinpoche.
Love, beatrix.
Dear Rinpoche, the words above the pictures are really funny and I thought it will be something scary. But the pictures of the liaisons are still funny especially Chris face. I can’t stop laughing when I saw the picture of his face on above. hehehe
I thought that this was very funny. I laughed out loud when I reached the bottom. I thought that this was gonna be an Animal Slaughter video at first when I asked my Mama about it she said it was not but I still had to be sure. I thought that the small captions at while scrolling down where extremely funny and it made it seem as if something scary is going to show up at the bottom.
Truthfully, all those people such as Aunty Su Ming, Uncle JP, Uncle Chris, Aunty Jamie,Aunty Beng Kooi, Jean Ai and Jean Mei jie jie are really hardworking people in Kechara. They give no excuses and they get their work done. Another thing is Kechara is not just one of those goody two shoes centres. We have a lot of fun in Kechara.
I am doing another black tea RIGHT NOW!
OMG I thought it was going to be another rally deppresing and scary “Let’s kill a dog video”… what a relief… he,he funny la you rinponche…
HAHAHAHA
OH NOOOOO!!
@William ..WHAT EYEBAGS. Point out lah. I dare you. hahahaha
I love the captions before…”Don’t scroll down..If you’ve never been to the zoo…If you’ve never seen a scary movie”
This is really scary and it’s real! Good suspense before looking at the photo! The title could’ve been “Beware: Just came out of Tanjung Rambutan*”
@Knut *shows the fist* hahaha
*Tanjung Rambutan = a mental house 😛
So adorable! They are some of the most hardworking people in Kechara Organisation!
I thought it was pictures of animals being slaughtered but this is way better!
Thank you Rinpoche! Always making us laugh and have fun no matter when, where and how!
I’m still laughing about this even though I’ve read it a few times already. Rinpoche really is exceptionally clever with his blog posts hehe thank you for showing us how we really are! (A guru is a mirror unto ourselves, after all!)
I must say, even if I was frightened to see myself (and the rest) in this collage. Quite frightening!
We recreated the whole lock-up-like, bright, glaring tubelight thing with our own homemade special effects. Not to mention the fact that we do quite a good job looking scary on our own!
*Fainted*… This is ghetto! hahaha…
Oh my Buddha! I could not stop laughing until I spat out some food after reading what was said before I saw the pictures. I was having my lunch while browsing Rinpoche’s blog. I expected something more horrible than the DOG MEAT TRADE. Only for laughs no offence intended. The only picture that looks relax and normal to me is Jean Ai. The rest of them have their own funny and comical faces but nothing bad. Rinpoche knowing through all these years you are a natural and able to cook up something for people to laugh. Don’t worry you lucky guys with the mugshots. Rinpoche does not do this only to brighten and cheer people up. There is also a deeper meaning which you will understand later.
Our Guru is FUN, our people are FUN, Kechara is FUN, Spirituality can be FUN!!!!
Our Guru can do anything beyond our imagination and so are the kecharians:-)
BTW, you all look great in my heart:-)
I thought u were going to post more gory pics of dead animals again. I was like all anxious and then its just ur staff without makeup. They’re cute awww.
But ur crazy and i wuv u
HuGGiES
Woww…so scary..I thought..oops it’s OK…hahaha
haha… the way Rinpoche started this ‘article’ really builds up the ‘anxiety’… i was expecting to see something very gruesome….
It turn out these pics are really ‘too serius’…. for this group of funny and active people.. way too serius.
Anyways, no matter how you look, we still love you the way you are!
yes, they all looked without exception tired… and not so happy… but surely the dharma work they have done is benefitting many others… cheers!
Even though I’m sure I “broke more than one rule” to continue to the end of the post… I love it. It really lets me make fun of myself and how fearful I become, sometimes, when I do research on UFO’s and stuff… There is nothing in the universe that frightens my mind anymore, besides FAILURE TO SEEK ENLIGHTENMENT. Then, you should be very scared, you should be very fearful if you run away from Dharma, and you will be because it is a negative evolutionary path that leads to suffering; this running from truth.
I face the Dharma, and I tell the Buddha: I’m selfish. I do not want to be selfish, but that is my current, delusional state of mind which I ignorantly embrace. I also promise to decrease it until it is gone. You see, that is my saving grace. I see my own negative actions like the FLU. I am having the “FLU” right now, but I don’t want to have the FLU! I don’t want to have a sickness! So in the same way, I commit negative actions, and I despise them.
Alternative title for this blog: THE MUGSHOTS OF SAINTS IN TRAINING. Why there is no Bullwinkle reference in the article, I have no idea. 😉
hehehehe thats funny was expecting something to pops up ! but they look different especially the “seniors” jp , suming & jamie…. they look “younger” in the photos. No offence : ) hahaha. The fun side of Rinpoche.
This is so funny. All of them have huge eyebags. But it is for a good cause. 🙂
Dearest Tsem Tulku, you are SO funny… this is the funniest thing I’ve seen on your website SO far. Imagine you even wake up one morning seeing such a face in your bathroom mirror…
LOVE, 🙂 Knut
ROLLING ON FLOOR LAUGHING MADLY OUT LOUD
WE are an unique funky Dharma Group. That’s Kechara for you! Hehehe
What I want to know is… where is Ethan and Bryan when we need them most???!!!! Hehehehe
Hehehehe! They are having their beauty sleep to stay and look gorgeous!!!
OMB (Oh my Buddha!)… I just fell off my chair from laughter… hehehehe. What is missing are the stripes behind to indicate the height… Hahahaha
They even look like they are wearing inmate clothing!!! (hhmmm looks like the same shirt was passed around even… hehehe).
This certainly brightened up my morning (not the mugshots but the joke!)
Thank you Rinpoche for not only having great compassion and infinite wisdom but also a wonderful sense of humour! Much love… Andrew
Hey you guys, I don’t care if its mug shots, or your all decked out partying, you all look great to me!! Keep on haven fun and hang in.
Hahaha, even though they worked so hard with hardly any sleep they still looked great! Except for the eye bags la! They are great from within with their dedication and devotion towards dharma!
I am glad I only had one sip of my beer before seeing those.
ha!
So funny!
Sue
This post was so funny! I really was wondering what I was going to see when I scrolled down – Love the mug shots! And unusual to see Paris with such a buttoned up shirt!
Thank you for sharing!
i guess when we let go of our pretences and fixated mind; relax instead, have faith, then we will be rewarded with a deliciously humorous moment – hahahah! So real and wholesome, like, yes, vegan food!
This cracked me up so much, especially the line “Have you taken refuge???******************”. After that, I was fully expecting to see a really really gruesome photo…and what do you know, I see the most gruesome mugshots of all, our own! Hahaha
Just now you posted my answer. hahaha.
Hi Rinpoche, I didnt get this :-).
Can you explain little bit?
Our group at Kechara really know how to have fun, take a good joke and also very sporting.
I play around with them alot because I like them. And makes things light.
Kechara is not a goody-goody centre. But we are good people. We try to be ourselves and try to be real. We try to be who we are and at the same time better.
So if you visit Kechara and think we are all holy schmoly, then you are in for a big surprise. We are not holy, but we are good honest people doing something useful and meaningful with our lives.
Tsem Tulku
Hahaha… they looked like Zombies!!!!
Erm, Kechara Mafia society application photos?????
Stay tuned to Rinpoche’s blog for why these pictures are taken in the first place…
Hehehe….
really scared me…
hahaha….
