Sadhu David Spotted in IKEA!
Apprentice Liaison David is a sadhu. A forest Mendicant swami. He left the forest for a quick visit to Ikea. He was in the forest for 15 years. He is getting accustomed to the environment, people and civilization again. Watch him in this video floating around ikea with his meditational robe on. Hehehe. And if you believe any of that, it’s time for Manjushri. Hehe. Watch the video!!

Dear Rinpoche, this video is really funny and in this video a few people are looking at David in a very weird way. David didn’t looked happy in this video and he looked like he was being forced to do it. But still it’s really funny.
Dear Rinpoche, I love the video Sadhu David appearing in IKEA. This video is really funny and David have a lot of guts to walk around the mall like this. I bet when peoples saw Sadhu David appearing in IKEA they will have a shock. HEHEHE! Thank you Rinpoche for sharing
Believe me, one’s ego doesn’t really get reduced because of this. It takes much more than walking around and looking funny. I think Rinpoche had an interesting sense of humor and perhaps in a way, he is preparing me for the real ego-cutting times – Bfs. If I am not mistaken, I have a major one a few days after this video was shot.
So, it seems that Ikea now has a “Davidsattva” wandering the aisles. Haha! This is super cute and funny. David is always very honest and humble and he does not mind when he embarrasses himself, it is a trait all humans should have. Hehe
David is such a funny person! He can actually do this in public and let down his ego! What a wonderful way to practice. Maybe he should do this more often and create a hype to attract people to Kechara while passing out brochures. Hehe… Thank you David for always making us laugh.
Just like what Ethan said ‘now strike a post David’ move it move it.. lol
ini adalah cara Rinpoche melatih anak muridnya, David adalah anak murid Rinpoche yang lama, ada berapa orang boleh pakai pakaian seperti david .dan buat pertunjukan kelaka di ikea
I was there watching it the whole time thinking ‘Will I be next’ lol , shows how much ego I have 🙁
The prospect of wearing these robes as a means to reduce ego is both scary and very interesting at the same time for all of us wishing to reduce ego-centrism.
Hahahaha 🙂
Great video! David is amazing – it shows how much he has really let go of himself by looking all silly in Ikea 🙂 Although I’m quite surprised that you yourself weren’t laughing when you were walking around!!
….it does look a little comfortable to wear that around though haha jokes 🙂 Perhaps you could have laid on one of those comfy Ikea beds 🙂 or kicked your feet up on their fluffy sofas! lol
David, How many times you have done this in Ikea secretly and openly? Hee hee hee!!!
This somehow reminds me of a time where my parents thought I was a Sannyasin of “Bhagwan Shree Rashneesh” because I wore orange underwear… two of my cousins actually beacame Sanyassins, and since then the whole pedigree (right word?) of relatives lived in a state of paranoia.
Oh my gosh! That is so funny. I never seen this side of Uncle David. He really is a sadhu. What is uncle David wearing. I think it will be quite cool for someone to wander around the city once in a while wearing “robes” like that with a kechara symbol. Many people would be interested in Kechara when that happens.
Hehehe David you are a natural!!!! Now we can call you David Guruji hehehe!
David Guruji Ah?!
Hey David, you have just given Ikea some ideas on how to promote their product better, they shld be paying you for it, hehehe. And you look pretty good too. Strange isnt it that it takes more than what you have put on yourself to solicit a response from the shopper including the Ikea staff. How much wld it take for a positive image or message to register?
Hehehe! Pity the store wasn’t crowded at that time, maybe some heads may turned if there were more shoppers.
Hahaha it’s been a while since we’ve seen a video like this! I love David for being so absolutely honest, to the point he embarrasses himself. I know that he’s always sincere in everything he does…how can you not trust and love a person like that?
I love these videos of David and would love to see more.
Cool! Spring Summer IKEA runway show, turn to left and turn to the right.. now strike a pose! Looking good, Nice David!! 🙂
Your comment made me laugh 😀
