“How has Tsem Rinpoche’s blog benefited you?”
H.E Tsem Tulku Rinpoche began to write the first blog post on 16th September 2009. After almost 4 years H.E Tsem Tulku has posted about 1811 articles. Until today, the blog has over 2.5 million page viewers!
H.E’s blog covers a broad range of contents, from arts to science; from dharma knowledge to daily life guideline, from leisure to excitement, also; from inspiration to motivation.
I found that H.E’s blog is very beneficial to me. When I need to read or watch on some interesting stuff, the blog provides short movies from mysteries of science, paranormal movies to stories that make my heart feel warm. When I feel stress/tension; the blogs has solutions on how to release my stress/tension, from selections of music to the many methods that Rinpoche advises to overcome our anxiety of our daily lives.
When I am demotivated; the blog not just provides me motivation that I need but also includes the wisdom that I can use to motivate people around me.
I like horoscope, I always like to know about myself and other people’s behavior, Don’t be surprise, there is a section in the blog about horoscope, there is also a “horoscopes calculator” to enable me to determine/calculate my zodiac based on my birth date.
When I wanted to look for someone to chat, I will participate on the Blog Chat. The blog chat is not limited to only Malaysians; but also people around the world since the chat is “open”(on) for 24 hours.
When I feel I wanted to play some games; there are games on the blog, e.g: Soduku. And, the most exciting game is from time to time Or even on and off, there would be exciting blog Quiz for blog’s fans.
Sometimes I have no idea where to have vegetarian food, I will refer to the blog on some of the Malaysia’s vegetarian restaurant based on the reviews posted in the blog.
If I am in a cooking mood, even there are some recipes for me to try out. For a healthy lifestyle, besides food, for instance there was a blog post about indoor plant that produces oxygen.
How about pets? Well, in Rinpoche’s heart; there is always a place for animals. In this blog, I learned the methods to take care of animals; like dogs, birds and etc.
Now you might ask, I thought this is a Rinpoche’s blog, so it must be very Dharma. But why it seems so entertainment?
Well, it is very dharma. Dharma is all about daily life; eat, sleep, drink, even on line we are accessible to Dharma
This blog is also a blog where I learned the Dharma knowledge.
If I have a dharma question, in the blog, there is a section that I can ask my dharma question in “Ask the Pastor” section or I can post my question to H.E. ;if some question I feel too shy to ask, I will look into the questions and answers section to get the answers.
In the blogs, there are prayers available and also methods to do certain prayers and; the most important part are these prayers came from authentic sources.
Besides prayer, there are some stories about Dharma practitioners, how they practice, what obstacle they faced, how they overcome the obstacle, and also story about Mahasiddhas etc, for me to gain more on Dharma knowledge. I can even downloaded the material like Buddha’s photos or even Tsem Rinpoche photos and used as wallpaper on my computer as well as on my handphone screen.
Now, I can even have changes to read some of the Dharma article written by other’s Buddhist practitioner from other sect. Not just Vajranaya.
At times, H.E will be in the chat room and I am able to access to his updates that I found motivating and encouraging. I personally think that H.E Tsem Rinpoche’s blog is like a box of assorted chocolates which always full with surprises.

Thank you Freon for giving an overview of this blog, Yes, I totally agree with you, the only reason Rinpoche creating this blog is because he want to share every single knowledge he has with the world, Rinpoche’s generousity is not just taking care of the people’s material need, Rinpoche’s generousity is to share with others everything that he has or come across in his life, not keeping a single little bit for himself.
Dharma is not just a religion, it is a way of life, hence, Rinpoche is writing all these articles that consists of different topics and different interests, many of these are related to our life, some are related to others, but all the article Rinpoche share here, it does carries Dharma teaching, Rinpoche is very skillfully using Dharma to put into our daily life activity.

Hey Freon!
Well written article! I still remember the time when I was new to blog chat, and you use to call me “Rogers” simply because my email ended with @rogers.com. I still find that funny! You were one of the first person to help me out with the site and pointed me towards Vajrasecret.com. So thanks Freon!
Jim

Dear Freon,
Thanks for your sharing. You have summarised the variety of information on Rinpoche’s blog very well – there really is something for everyone and yes – even though it doesn’t seem that way, there is Dharma behind everything because everything is about Dharma.. even a game can be an opportunity for concentration LOL!
Rinpoche is remarkably skilful because there are so many different types of minds out there – there are people who are interested in animals, prayers, horoscopes, games, dharma teachings, celebrities, ghosts, art, architecture, Rinpoche himself etc and like the 13 departments of Kechara, the blog is like a buffet where you can never finish the delicious offerings!
I like your closing – I personally think that H.E Tsem Rinpoche’s blog is like a box of assorted chocolates which always full with surprises.:)
Good job, Freon………keep continue to serve…….
