A kind soul in our midst | 茫茫人海中的善良之光

Dear Friends,
Although I am currently in the USA, I always get good news about many people back in Kechara. I very much welcome and very happy to get good news. Today I was inspired to write something on a wonderful and very kind soul in our midst.
Kechara Buddhist Pastor Yek Yee is a hero to me and inspiration also. She works hard and sometimes has no rest because she has so many house calls to request her to do blessings, funerals or purifications of negative energies on behalf of Kechara. She even blesses cars and counsels people who call upon her in their confusion. She does animals liberation and will travel the length and breath of Malaysia to serve other when called upon. She has great and vast knowledge in Buddhism and also very good with Tibetan Buddhist rituals. She sometimes is so exhausted, doesn’t get to sleep and her shoulder is really aching, but she will not let anyone down if she humanly can help when called upon. She sounds like some of the monks and nuns I have met in the past. She sounds like a Reverend Cheng Yen of Taiwan or Mother Teresa in the making. She really is a true Kecharian or the reason I set up Kechara ten years ago.
From the day I met her till now she constantly strives to improve, do more, learn more and when she commits, she doesn’t look back. She always has a smile, very caring, no moodiness, no angry looks, patient and shares from her heart. She will repeat things hundreds of times over and over patiently to so many so they will understand her sharing of dharma. Very patient due to kindness which is in her heart. You never hear her blaming others for anything even when they are at fault. Some others would like to in the past ‘attack’ and blame her verbally for whatever reasons and she shows compassion and care to them as she would someone who is kind to her. She treats everyone equally. My meeting with her, imparting the dharma to her and sharing with her is one of the fondest events of my work. We have others like her for sure in Kechara. Many others, but today I wanted to speak about her.
Pastor Yek Yee is real, genuine and is very simple yet deep. She can think very deep. She is very fluent in Chinese as this is her first language as she was raised going to Chinese school and when you listen to her in English, you might be lead to think otherwise, but to the contrary, she is intelligent, caring and very deep thinking. She is philosophical with practical application to daily life. She has embraced the way of compassion and selfless service as taught by Buddha and elucidated further by Tsongkapa and she goes all the way. She has accepted compassion into her heart and Lord Buddha has blessed her for sure. Now she blesses all those fortunate enough to meet her.
I respect her tremedously and am proud and very humbled to call her my student. It is fortunate for the student to meet a caring and real teacher in this day and age. It is also very fortunate for the teacher to meet a caring and genuine student. It benefits the dharma and many beings when a genuine teacher and genuine student meet and work together to benefit others. Very powerful and good combination. Yes it benefits many when a caring student and teacher join forces.
For other younger, junior or even senior members, when we have an inspirational person like Pastor Yek Yee in our lives, we should observe her actions and kindness in be inspired to do the same and not have any other thoughts. We should realize we can be like her if we choose. It’s an instant choice. Choose the good always. We should praise each other and look at each other’s good qualities which facilitates the dharma to grow in the minds of others. Everyone has faults, so what. But focus and develop our virtuous minds as Pastor Yek Yee has done over the years of since meeting Dharma. Take care of each other, praise each other and help each other. We need each other to succeed.
I am very happy and privileged to meet a rare and kind soul like Pastor Yek Yee and she definitely does inspire me. I can say I love, respect and very humbled by her. May I meet Pastor Yek Yee in this and all future lives along with other wonderful friends to benefit others.
I request the holy Buddha, Tsongkapa and Dharma Guardians to always make sure Pastor Yek Yee will be in situations to develop bodhicitta and gain full awakening of Buddha-hood in all her lives. Om Svasti!

茫茫人海中的善良之光
各位朋友们，虽然我现在身在美国，但我还是不断地从马来西亚克切拉那里收到好消息。我欢迎这些好消息，也为收到这些好消息而高兴。今天我有感而发，想为一位在茫茫人海中散发着爱心光辉的一个人写一些话。
对我来说，克切拉的郭月谊讲法师是一名英雄，更是一个激励我的人物。她工作勤奋，有时甚至不眠不休地到处奔波——这是因为她经常受到请求代表克切拉四处登门造访、加持信众、帮助净化负面能量、进行临终助念及处理殡葬事宜等。除此之外，她也为人们的车子做撒净，以及为因彷徨无助而找上她的人们做辅导。她的职责不仅与此，郭月谊讲法师也主持放生仪式，并且不辞劳苦地走遍全马来西亚各个角落，为有需要的人伸出援手。
郭月谊讲法师的佛法知识渊博，也熟悉藏传佛教的各种仪式。虽然她经常因休息不足而累得肩膀关节活动受限，但一旦有人求助，她还是会竭尽所能，不让求助者失望。她的精神和行动就像过去我所遇到过的某些僧尼一样，甚至有逐步精进，成为像证严上人和特丽莎修女一样的精神人物的迹象。她是克切拉人的典范，她的精进修行更是我十年前创立克切拉的理由。
从我认识郭月谊的那一天开始，她就不断地为自我提升而努力。她努力学习，对所有的职责都身体力行地去做，决定了目标以后就不会退缩。她永远笑脸迎人、对他人关怀备至、没有脾气、和蔼可亲，并且孜孜不倦及非常有耐心地与他人分享一切。她能够很有耐心地反复讲解同样的东西，为的只是让他人了解佛法。这乃出自于她内心的善良。你从来不会听到她抱怨任何人，即使真是别人的错。有些人在过去出于某种原因而对她进行言语攻击甚至怪罪于她，但她只会以德报怨。对于善恶是非，她都一视同仁。
遇见郭月谊，向她传授和分享佛法是我在诸事业中感到最欣慰的事之一。当然在克切拉当中也不乏像她这样一直散发正能量的人，但今天我特别要提起她。
郭月谊讲法师是一个十分真诚、不造作、朴素但又有内涵的人，她能做深度的思考。由于她出身于传统华文学校，中文可是她精通的第一语言。可能当你一开始听到她开口说英语的时候会对她存有另一种印象，但事实恰好相反。她是一个很聪明、富有爱心和有内涵的人。她能够把哲学性的思想实践在现实生活当中。佛陀所教导和宗喀巴大师所阐述的慈悲及无我的精神和态度，她都一一奉行了，并且义无反顾、倾尽全力去做。她已经彻底地把慈悲的精神融入她的心中，佛陀也肯定加持了她，因此现在的她已能够为有幸遇见她的人带来加持。
我十分尊敬郭月谊讲法师，同时也为她是我的弟子而感到自豪又谦卑。在这个时代，一位弟子能够遇见真诚并且关爱自己的上师是一件非常幸运的事；而一位上师能在今时今日遇见真诚并且关爱他的弟子也是同等幸运的事！真诚的上师碰上真诚的弟子且携手为他人的福利而努力，将为佛法和众生带来莫大的利益。这是一个天衣无缝的组合。是的，当真诚的师徒携手合作时，势必帮助到更多的众生。
那些比较年轻、资历较浅甚至是资深的成员们，当我们在生命中遇见像郭月谊讲法师这么一位鼓舞人心的榜样时，我们应该时时学习并观察她的言行举止、处事态度和善良的精神，激励自己也跟随她的步伐，不应再作他想。我们理应领悟——我们绝对能够选择做到像她一样精进的。那是一个即时的选择。记得永远都选择善的那一条路。我们应该互相赞赏，并时时看到他人良善的一面，这将有助于佛法在他人心中滋长。人人都有短处不是吗？于是我们应该专注并且培养我们的善念，就像郭月谊讲法师自遇见佛法后，这些年来所成就的那样。大家要互相关怀、赞赏及守望相助。若要成功，我们都需要彼此。
我很高兴和荣幸能够遇见像郭月谊讲法师这样稀有的善良之人，她肯定激励了我。我关爱，也很尊重她，并为能够认识她而感到谦卑。我希望今生来世，生生世世都能够遇到郭月谊讲法师和像她一样的善知识，共同利益众生。
我祈求无上殊胜的佛陀、宗喀巴大师和诸护法们，确保郭月谊讲法师生生世世都能够处在有助于她培养菩提心及获得圆满证悟的有利处境中。Om Svasti！

Pastor Yek Yee wears her official Kechara’s uniform very proudly and she represents the Kechara ideals very well. She is very compassionate and caring as primary ideals within Kechara.

When she does prayers, I am sure the Buddhas and Dharma Guardians ‘hear’ her as she is heartfelt and genuine. She is someone you should request blessings from. Prayers are more effective depending on our degree of sincerity cultivated.
当郭月谊讲法师进行祈愿时，我肯定诸佛菩萨和护法们都“听见了”她的祷告，因为她是那么的真心诚意。
她是你应当祈求加持的对象。越是虔诚的人，祈愿的力量和效果就越大。

Dear Rinpoche,
Pastor Yek Yee is one who really “go all the way”. She doesn’t care what’s next just do it. She doesn’t care whether others do it or not but she will just do it. She doesn’t have talk much but show by example how she put in her 100% into dharma and her faith in Rinpoche. That’s all we need to inspire others and bring people into dharma. Those who nurtured by Pastor Yek Yee are very fortunate. She worked restlessly for others because she knows that’s the only way to bring our guru back to Malaysia and be with us again.

It is amazing to see what Pastor Yek Yee has achieved today due to her trust in Rinpoche. I have been with her since kmp days and how she has change every time to become better n stronger.

Dear Rinpoche,
Pastor Yek Yee continuously(24/7) shows, by fine example , her selflessness, her guru devotion and her single-minded focus on caring for and benefiting others, as well as on bringing dharma to them in a skillful way.
She is a Pastor-on-call at all times of day and night. Recently it became evident how strong and determined she is to project this image of a Tsem Rinpoche and Kechara Buddhist pastor. Her right hand has become so bad that she cannot drive. Yet she still makes sure she is at the helm of the puja team for the outcall pujas( which is almost daily) to as far as Johore. She needs to rest her hand for it to heal and yet she cannot ‘afford’ a rest.
Results speak for her. She has brought the Kechara Puja House and Puja team to such a level that everywhere people know where and how to get a puja and prayers done for loved ones when sick or in trouble or at death. They know how to call up to get all this arranged. All thanks to Pastor Yek Yee and her devotion to her Guru Tsem Rinpoche and her love of all mother beings.

Pastor Yek Yee is an exemplary Pastor for Kechara. She both walks the Dharma and talks the Dharma.
Whenever I bump into her around Kechara, she’s always either on the way for puja (outcall or at the gompa), giving others consultation/advice or on the way for a meeting. I have never once seen her sit idle or seeking for personal pleasure/entertainment.
I respect her because her every minute of the day is used to help others in whatever capacity she can. She may not be able to do everything, but whatever that she can do she gives her 110%, does it well and with the purest intention of her heart.
Over time, she has developed the reputation of honesty, reliability and stability. I can confidently say that 9/10 people would be comfortable to look for her should they need any help within the Pastorship scope.

During the time Pastor Yek Yee was part of Kechara Earth Project committee she was able to source for recyclables from everywhere and during meetings she was so focused on getting the next action going. Then I felt quite pressured the way she ‘pushing’ things though I did realise she was on another level of a spiritual practitioner than I was.
Anyways through her kind example of being able to tap into many outsiders and Kecharians from all walks through her care, it has helped me there past few years to bring more volunteers to my departments, projects and Kechara. Pastor Yek Yee is a type of person don’t like to talk much but she is showing a good example by action through her works. It is inspiring to read Pastor Yek Yee’s contribution and dedications towards dharma. She is so hardworking and although having body ache but still continues to work so she can help all those in need. A person who really cares about others.

Pastor Yek Yee is a compassionate, gentle and lovely lady. Every time I see her I feel so peaceful, I am sure that is because of her compassion. She is like Green Tara, full of love and kindness, when people need help, she immediately takes action. I thank you Pastor Yek Yee for doing so much things to benefit others and she is always my mentor.
I believe Pastor Yek Yee is a very public face of Kechara and helps many people along the way. The nights when she is at funerals and hospitals, there are no cctv or cameras to show case what she has done. one thing I have noticed is that she has many friends who will help her out in her dharma work and they are all very loyal and will back her up on the spur of the moment. For her to get such loyalty she has invested much time and effort in helping all her dharma friends.
I never have a deep conversation with Pastor Yek Yee but from what i heard and what i read from FB, Pastor Yek Yee is always busy, she is always going outing for Puja, from Penang to Singapore, i not sure about Thailand, and she always going to the place where people normally avoid to go to, like Hospital and Funeral.
and i remember once Rinpoche teasing her “big ass”, and she always take this as a joke to tell other to make them laugh.
Pastor Yek Yee is always show grateful to Rinpoche and follow Rinpoche instruction to benefit other.

从事媒体时代到全职克切垃职员再到克切垃讲法師的郭月谊佛友。現在每个人都稱她为尊敬的郭月谊讲法師了。看到这几年她对生命的態度和方式有很大的改变。看她依著佛法依止上師的修持我们都望尘莫及。
尤记得五年前，上師叫我寫一本叙说我自己从事服装业二十五年的故事和如何利用学习到的佛法容入生活利益他人的书，当时月谊就是这本书的编辑，她用了一年的时间一直陪伴着我游走和帮助我做许多文字上的处理，这段日子里的创作期间中我们也经常发生了一些争吵和障碍，虽然发生许多不愉快事情但是到最后书也就完成了，为什么呢？就是因为她答应了上師要帮助我完成这本书，所以她的坚持和对上師的依上，使我非常的敬佩万分，当时如果不是她的慈扶持和鼓励，我也不会坚持的㝍下去。
所以在此，我要再次感谢你，因为有你的帮忙这本〜时尚修行〜到現在还是可以继续利益他人。当然最重要的人是我们上師尊贵的詹杜固仁波切，如果没有他的支持和指示，这本书就不会出现了。

Knowing Pastor Yek Yee since I join kh for sometime.Every friday during dharma class she will walk into the class….you will hear 校长你好, after class you will hear 校长还有什么要补充的吗？
I remembered when I first met Pastor Yek Yee, it was 6 years back in the old Kechara Media and Publication office in Bandar Utama, that time she rarely speak, she’s always on her pc typing and typing and typing, and when she doesn’t smile, she look fierce, hehe, I dare not go and talk to her during that time, but later on when I know her more, and when we talk more, I realized she is not like what she look, when she speaks, you can feel her passion towards Dharma and compassion towards others.
Pastor Yek Yee is someone who talk no nonsense, she does not idol chatting, gossip, or complains, she work most of the time. Yes, she is not good in speaking english, in the early days, a lot of times when she speaks in english, people will laugh at her mispronunciation, but guess what? You can say she has a thick skin? Because she doesn’t really care much as she knows deep inside her,she need to learn to speak in order for her to do more, to help more people, so she will just speak even to a big crowd, there’s no fear from her when comes to benefiting others.
You may find that she is very fierce, hard, firm, and from another side, she will smile, soft and very gentle. It depends on the situation needed, when She speaks from her heart.

我认识郭月谊讲法师是在2008年，那时候的她在克切拉出版社任职。回想起那时候的她可真是话不多两句，总是板着一副很严肃的脸，但是内在的她是一个热情澎湃的人。从认识她那时后起我俩就结下了很深的“缘”，直到现在有幸的和她成为了上司与下属，一起进出“战场”服务人群，到家访，到葬礼，到医院，做加持等等。渐渐的看到她那一份舍己为人的大无畏精神，月谊讲法师终是把他人放在第一位，不论任何人有求于她，她都会一一的想尽办法帮助他人解决困难，完全不会想到自己面对身体上的痛楚以及不适。月谊讲法师终日都忆念着上师的恩慈，她也很谦虚的说道如果没有上师的加持，她是无法去帮助那么多的人。
“我们身为全职的佛法志工就应该是要24/7全天候的行动，紧急的事情发生或者为临终者服务是不可以怠慢的，时间是不留人。慢一步的话他们可能就失去得到上师与三宝的加持，我们不能失去一个机缘让他们得到加持，因为那怕有一天我们或者家人都会面临这样的事情。” 这是郭月谊讲法师对我说的一番话。
月谊讲法师最开心的事就是能够为临终者或是亡者献出一份加持让他们都能够得到上师以及三宝的加持，为他们的未来世做出最大的贡献。每回看着月谊讲法师为亡者完成最后的仪式时，在她的面上渐渐流露出一份菩萨美德。
促使月谊讲法师越战越勇的是她对上师的强烈依止心，我永远记得月谊讲法师所讲的一句话：“上师终是在幕后彻夜不眠的写博客传佛法，为有需要的人解决难题，还有无时无刻的关怀身边学生与弟子，相比之下我们身为弟子的更加要多努力，互相关心身边的人，这样才能减轻上师的担忧之心，那样上师就能够更专心的传佛法，这才是我们要为上师所做出的贡献。”
在这里我要告诉你，你的真诚付出以及菩萨美德都是我的学习榜样，你就犹如我的家人一样，我要对你说一声：“我爱你！”月谊讲法师你要多保重，未来利益他人的机会还很多 🙂
Knowing Pastor Yek Yee is the person is very hard working person and not easy to give up. She hold her word if she promise you thing to be done, she go all the way to get thing to be done. She had a warm hard when she knew someone need help she will give advise and help. She also very kind to animal and also helping dog and cats at the street.

想起遇见月谊讲法师是我三年多前第一次来克切拉佛教中心参观的时候。就这样我们认识了对方。她对佛法的真诚是无可置疑的。月谊讲法师非常低调无论任何事情她都会说是詹仁·波切所赐的加持。她那种依止上师的精神是非常值得我们学习的。谢谢您讲法师因为上师和您的细心栽培我才有这个福份加入克切拉佛教中心服务。也感谢您在我彷徨和低落的时候给我鼓励。我为您感到深深的骄傲。

早期我刚刚进来克切拉当志工的时候是无端端被叫去和月谊讲法师见面的。而且也送了我们一些书。 当初也很坦白的告诉了她我进来克切拉的目的。
过后也上了两次克切拉志工培训班， 第二次的培训班就是由月谊讲法师主讲。 那时候真的是获益良多， 也更了解克切拉和师父。
那时候月谊讲法师也说， 她当讲法师就是为了可以帮助更多的人。
我在克切拉一年半的日子里面，真的看到很多例子， 都是通过她的帮忙而踏进修行之路。
我也有幸参与一些案子， 让我了解了什么是无我。 月谊讲法师真的有时吃或睡也没用时间， 就直接去处理下一个案子了。
虽然我当初进来克切拉到现在， 我的目的都没有改变过， 不过通过月谊讲法师的例子， 我更了解灵修是怎么一回事， 也不是一两年就可以达到的。
愿我们身边可以有更多像月谊讲法师这样的人， 帮助更多人。

郭月谊讲法师为大众服务的努力在克切拉是众人皆知的。每天车舟劳顿往医院、殡仪馆、新居等处，新山、怡宝、吉打北上南下都难不倒他。
记得初认识郭月谊讲法师是当她刚刚上任克切拉媒体出版社（克媒）中文编辑/作者的时候。有一点点喜欢自闭的她除了很努力的在克媒工作外，也非常积极推广其他佛法活动。很荣幸的和她为多年的室友，也有幸和她分享/参与她第一本书《金甲衣护法》的推广会，第一个克切拉中文金甲衣护法法会等。郭月谊讲法师为马来西亚的藏传佛教贡献许多， 现在也常常上报、上电视与大家分享佛法。
很怀念当年我们文殊家DQharma House的聚餐，有空时写给彼此互相鼓励的信，很高兴可以在这修行路上遇见共患难同欢乐的佛法姐妹。如今,我也有幸可以成为讲法师并且是郭月谊讲法师为我授讲法师戒。有那么好榜样，我也必须加油！
认识郭月谊讲法师好多年了，她对佛法的实践是我学习的好对象！

I know Pastor Yek Yee for 3 years. To me, she is a very hard working person and willing to learn. She doesn’t give up even though there is hardship, she just does whatever is needed to be done. Pastor Yek Yee is a very hardworking and always on the go, and are ready to help those in need. she is very dedicated in her responsibility as a Pastor, and always keep up with what is being advice by Tsem Rinpoche through her action.
Pastor Yek Yee is very straight forward person who have no mind game, and speaks directly from her mind for the benefit of ourself is she find something that we can improve on as a Dharma Practitioner. she is also very skillful and try to help you in ways that we never expect it, and yet the outcome helps us understand more about Rinpoche and Dharma.
Her dedication in Puja House is definitely commendable, from a humble puja house, it has grown to become a department which help those who are in need by conducting various Puja that originate from Ganden Monasteries. Pastor Yek Yee pure and sincere motivation in doing puja has helps many in overcoming their obstacles and even has help those who are in their last minute to find peace, this all stems from the blessing of H.E Tsem Rinpoche who ordain and started Pastorship 3 years ago.

我已经忘了日期和年份，当时我是在克切就是现在的KMP 遇见郭月宜讲法师，我只知道他是记者是来访问仁波切的。
当年的记者只是想访问仁波切，现在却是克切拉佛教中心的讲法师。
郭月宜讲法师，很用心很努力去帮助他人，就算是生病也义不容辞去帮助需要帮助的人。
郭月谊讲法师对上师坚定的依止心，不是三言两语可以说的清楚， 郭月谊讲法师是于行动来对众生爱与关怀。也呈现了上师的所教的佛法 ，是利益他人的， 郭月宜讲法师拥有慈爱和慈悲的一颗心去爱 众生 ，也是仁波切从过去到现在所做的 对众生的慈爱。你是我们的好榜样。
郭月谊讲法师是那种会全力以赴的人。当她绝定要做某一件事，她会像一枝上了玄的弓箭，一觸即发的朝目地的飞去！不管前面有多少障碍，凭着她对仁波切的信念，她都会尽心尽力的完成了那项任务。
我最记得郭月谊讲法师与我们分享过，她能为众生所服出的所有行动都是耒自於上师詹杜固仁波切的加持，她才能圆满的完成。感恩为我们竖立了一个很好的榜样，只要拥有100%的上师依止心，我们必定能完成上师委托的任务与使命。
她是一位普通的女人，但是她有一個慈悲和善良的心。
記得有一天早上九點，剛好我在上班途中，突然接到了一通電話；
– Jeffrey 你今天有空嗎？有一場out call hospital visit 要在一點前完成，不能在等了我們一定要敢快過去。
– 我就問了一句，在那裡？
– 在梹城。
– 哈啊！
其實那時候我也被她的一 鼓慈悲和责任的愛心給打动了。
我也沒二句

— 無論在那裡，什麼時候，她都會为有需要的人伸出援手。
其實還有很多我無法－－的説出來。

Pastor Yek Yee is a true & genuine dharma practitioner. I’ve known her for less than 2 years, but I see how she has improved tremendously & work hard in benefiting others. She radiates kindness & compassion, always put others’ needs before hers.
She is direct & straight to the point regardless who the person is. She says what is necessary & fair in every way. People will accept her words & do not take it personally.

I am very fortunate to have Pastor Yek Yee as one of my mentors when I first joined Kechara. She has taught me many things especialy what Guru Devotion is and how important a guru is in our spiritual practice. I have never made donations to a charity organisation before until I met Pastor Yek Yee, she taught me how important it is to collect merits and to support our guru’s works. Strongly believe that if it was not because of the offerings I made to my lama who is equivalent to the Buddha, I would not have enough merits to have the opportunity to work full time in Dharma, using my life to serve my guru. I am forever grateful to her.
To some people, Pastor Yek Yee is very strict and serious. When it comes to Dharma, Kechara and Rinpoche, Pastor Yek Yee is always serious and strict because she loves these things genuinely. She will never allow people to say or do negative things to these things. It is because of her faith and her passion for Dharma that she has continues to work tirelessly and selflessly. Pastor Yek Yee is also a very generous person, even though she does not have a lot of money, she loves to buy food for others. she often says to me “i am aready poor, it doesn’t make a difference if I am a few dollars poorer!”.
Pastor Yek Yee is very simple and genuine, she never has other hidden agenda. She always think of benefitting others, how to plant dharma seeds, how to help others embarking on their spiritual journey.
If you have the chance, spend more time with Pastor Yek Yee, learn from her. You will see what Dharma in Action really is
I witnessed how Pastor Yek Yee transformed all these years. We were in the same department called Kechara Care and since then we have been working very closely. Pastor Yek Yee’s speech and action truly represents the Buddha’s qualities of caring, loving, compassion and giving. She may not speak very eloquently like a professional public speaker, however, her magnetic personality just draw people towards instinctively.
She is an excellent listener with the power to make people feel calm and relief after consultation or even casual chit chatting. Her natural charisma and sincerity makes her a very trustworthy teacher, colleague and friend. Her 24/7 on-call Pastor duty has earned her much respect from all over as you can always see her running around hospitals, funeral parlors or houses in the middle of the night. She does this with no single complaints because her compassion to the less fortunate just arises so naturally from within.
Next time when u see Pastor Yek Yee in KH, make sure you buy her some food or drinks or even a caring sms to ask how was her day would warm her heart. She has been working so hard for others and I’m sure she deserves care from others too. We love you PYY! Keep rockin’ 🙂
想当初刚来到克切拉时，我与Yvonne都是 Pastor Yek Yee 照顾的。我们两个都不明白佛法，谁是仁波切。我还记得当初仁波切要来克切拉给开示，Pastor Yek Yee立刻就发电话给我们，要我们立刻回来。 哈哈当时我们刚做完义工回家，肚子饿得很! Pastor Yek Yee 教导了我。。。。。。师父 or maggie mee。 还好，我没选错，要不然我就不会有今天了。
Pastor Yek Yee一路来努力的分享佛法，而且也编辑了许多的佛法书。当上了pastor后也不眠不休的为了群众服务。我为你骄傲。 希望将来我们会有更多讲法师。
As pointed out by Rinpoche, though Pastor Yek Yee’s english is not at par or as good as her chinese, she is truly an intelligent person. She is really helpful, caring, compassionate and very sincere. Of course, her brillancy in her chinese more than makeup for her english deficiency, as she is well equiped with a degree in psychology in chinese. Daily, she does her prayers with smoothness and heartfelt geniunity. So were her Dharma talks, which she conducted with wonderful understanding. Q and A dicussion sessions thereafter has never been a problem for her. All young and old members, friends and freelance volunteers of Kechara House organisation feel inspired by Pastor Yek Yee’s spiritual sincerity in helping Kechara to benefit others as what she has done. She is really the pearl of orient for Kechara House Organisation.
Pastor Yek Yee is someone I can openly talk to. She is the one that I will run to when I feel happy, when I feel not happy, when I feel sad, when I feel angry, when I feel hurt, when I feel scared, when I want to help a friend but don’t know how. Even when my friend’s friend need help I will look for her because to her everyone is equal and worth her time and effort to help. She has this energy called sincere and love. Money is not priority to her but she never fail to grab a chance to raise fund for Kechara. She’s like gem in Kechara. A good example to follow. One with no mind game and speak only when necessary. I love her very much.
Pastor Yek Yee is a very down to earth person. She has a very warm smiles that can attracts your attention towards her. She’s very dedicated to her dharma work, reason I says that is because she’s at all KECHARA event from animal liberation up to out call puja for the sick, departed and house blessing. She served dharma work tireless. A very good inspirational personal that we could contemplate.

I know Pastor Yek Yee when she was with Kechara Media & Publications (KMP), later she moves to Kechara Care and now she is a Kechara Pastor.
In early days, she always gives me advice, sometimes “lectures” me. I followed to hospital visits sometimes and she will always brief us on what to do, how we can help and avoid to saying something hurting the families etc. Pastor Yek Yee might not a good speaker in class, but she is always willing to share her experience and teachings of Rinpoche with us. Most importantly she is always skillfully blend in the teachings of Rinpoche, as advice to all.
Talking about Pastor Yek Yee, I always remember her strong guru devotion, she always follows Rinpoche’s advice and teachings; and generously share with whoever she encounter and thinks is able to take the advice.

although i have never consulted pastor yek yee on any specific matters; from social media, i know she is a very dedicated and hardworking person 100percent into dharma. She can be in Penang today and the next day in Johor Bahru and maybe even the next in Kuantan, the schedules can be punishing but shes so dedicated that these are only minor problems to her and does not stop her from benefiting others. I thank Pastor Yek Yee for being an inspritation to us 🙂 and may we learn to have guru devotion like hers.

Although I volunteer in Puja House almost everyday, I hardly see Pastor Yek Yee as she is ever so busy. She is one lady who walks the talk and is also very strict if needed be. Pastor Yek Yee’s selfless service is a fine example for all of us to emulate, she’s a real inpiration for all Kecharians. I am very happy and priviledged to be working under her. Pastor Yek Yee is not a close friend of mine nor someone with whom I work closely. But the couple of times I have contact with her, she does not rush through anything or say ‘wait’ or’no’.If something needs to be done, it is now-like the time when I requested her to teach me the Mightsema in Tibetan, she just requested Gim Lee to sit me down and teach there and then. Reminds me of the ‘Saturday Night Live’ show motto – ‘I don’t know how I do it, I just do it’.
That can only stem from her believe and faith in Rinpoche, Rinpoche’s work and the dharma and that we should not wait. She really leads by example that dharma and others comes first. I have so very much to learn from her and all the pastors in Kechara.

Rejoice to Pastor Yek Yee! Rejoice to Rinpoche too! Though I have not personally liaise with her before but I do know that she’s very compassionate, hardworking and all out to help others who are in need. She really sets good example for future pastors-to-be. I also do hope I have some of her qualities.

From my few encounters with Pastor Yek Yee, it is not difficult to observe the soft, gentle kindness radiating from her. I am glad that Pastor Yek Yee is part of Kechara and let’s sincerely wish that her actions will aspire more and more people to be like her; be selflessly devoted to dharma work.

Dear Rinpoche,
Pastor Yek Yee really works hard for the puja team and Kechara. Each time she comes down to Melaka to conduct puja for us, once finished, she will rush off for a next puja or to attend to somebody in another State in the hospital. And each time if I request more last minute, she will accommodate to the request without fail.
When I ask her to go for lunch or breakfast, while waiting for me to get ready, she will have the items ready for puja before she goes for her meals, along with her team.
I have deep respect for her. She really cares for Rinpoche and do well to uphold the name of Rinpoche and Kechara.
Pastor Yek Yee is truly an inspiration to us all. She does dharma and benefits others unconditionally. She is a great role model for the younger Kecharians too as she exhibits how sincerity and guru devotion can lead to goodness.
Although I never talked to Pastor Yek Yee before, but her look is so warm and kind..thanks her and a big hug for her from me.
Pastor Yek Yee, thanks a lot. Through what they have shared from this and previous articles, I think you must have done more than that (a lot more). May all the works that you have done be the causes and conditions for your smooth journey towards your enlightenment. Through this article alone, it seemed to me that you have delighted Rinpoche with supreme offerings(rejoice)! May you continue to benefit more sentient beings.

After all these years, Pastor Yek Yee is still here and standing tall, very firm with her Guru Devotion and still guarding, building, sharing and upholding Rinpoche’s Dharma & Kechara in many ways. Almost a decade since I put my comment here, wow! I hope Kechara will post more about her often as she is one of many Kecharians who works hard for Dharma, especially for Rinpoche. She always speaks highly about Rinpoche. Always ‘Rinpoche this, Rinpoche that’ 😄…
I was fortunate enough to have her as my preceptor for 8 Mahayana Precepts, vege vow, met her few times and did outcall puja together too. Thanks to her dedication, many people like me still following Rinpoche’s and Kechara as she was and IS a great example for us. May Pastor has great health, long life and gain highest & irreversible attainments. May she achieved unsurpassable, perfect and complete Enlightenment soonest.

Pastor Yek Yee is definitely a Pastor I would call for advice in spiritual matters, in time of need or emergency. She exudes care, sincerity, honesty, responsibility and genuine concern for others. I see this in her because I’ve seen her over the years, how she first joined KMP, quitting her journalism job to join us full time in Kechara. How she’s grown, transformed, failed, got up, challenged, tried and pushed herself to the next level. Her faith in her Guru was her backbone.
At first she was a part-time volunteer Chinese writer, then to full time and to now… a respected and an inspiring Pastor to so many.
I look up to her and respect her because she really believes in Rinpoche’s teachings, the Dharma and really apply it whole heartedly, that is why everyone can see that she walks the talk, her blessings are real and save lives and as we can read from all the comments… she basically walks the talk of a Pastor. If there was any Pastor I trust, she would be it.
I salute and thank Pastor Yek Yee for showing us your exemplary transformation that is inspiring!
I feel extremely fortunate to have received my vows from a Pastor like Yek Yee, who upholds them through her body, speech and mind. It means her vows are genuine and unbroken. She’s ALWAYS patient, always kind, always generous and will give you the shirt off her back if it’ll help you. She never complains, always does what she promises. Above all, she is utterly and completely devoted and loyal to Rinpoche – once she found her Guru, she has gone all the way with him in her practice.
Pastor Yek Yee shows that you do not need to be ordained to be a shining example of Dharma practice.
Pastor Yek Yee is indeed a very kind person, she never fails to reach out to people who need help, either mentally or physically. She is someone whom I look up to, truly an inspiring lady.

Pastor Yek Yee is exactly what Rinpoche and others said, selflessly working for the benefits of others. She is always focus on how to help others who are in need.
Working with Pastor Yek Yee will lead us to “rise to occasion’ and push ourselves beyond our ‘comfort zones’. Who would have thought of starting a journey at 4am to other states for an outcall puja? For the sake of others, she did that with her Puja House team.
Due to her dedications and her strong guru devotion, she had inspired many others to volunteer in Kechara and even to work full time in Dharma.

Pastor Yak Yee is truly compassionate and have shown us her faith and trust in Rinpoche through her work. She is always trying her best to bring more people to the Dharma and be connected to Rinpoche. Through this Pastor Yak Yee not only spread the Dharma but also Rinpoche’s teachings.
She is very committed to her work and is practically on standby 24/7. Whenever and wherever she receives a distress call she will be there to rise to the occasion.
I am truly fortunate to be able to work under Pastor Yak Yee and to be trained by her.

Although I have not met pastor Yek Yee in person, we have visited in the chat room. Every time we chat she is so sweet, and kind and funny, she is always a delight to talk to. I look forward to seeing her in the chatroom so we can visit a bit. She is such a caring hard working woman, totally dedicated to Rinpoche and the Dharma. She is what I dream of becoming.
Pastor Yek Yee have prove herself with sincerity and strong guru devotion, non obstacles can stop her to serve dharma. We should set her as good model to follow.
