Jean Ai giving training on Blogging, Facebook, Twitter
Dear Rinpoche,
Jean Ai is giving a training session to some of the special project members on how to comment on Rinpoche’s blog, use facebook, and use twitter. She’s teaching us how to maximise these three online applications to promote Rinpoche.

Social media is a very effective marketing tools for this new era. It is the way for us to promote Buddhism thru the new technology.
Rejoice to see that all the participants are coming out from their comfort zone to learn new skills for the benefit of promoting Rinpoche’s teaching and Buddhism. The best gift to others is the gift of Dharma!

Rinpoche has proven his point that we should not look down, give up on or be selective with anyone.Everybody needs everybody because each one of us have different skills and knowledge which will become useful under different circumstances. This is what makes the world interesting and helps it go round.
Who would have thought that having cyber knowledge becomes a big advantage in spreading Buddhism . Thanks to young net savvy people like Jean Ai, Justin Ripley, Shin,Wai meng, even dinosaurs like me are able to catch up and make use of this fantastic media/resource.

Now I can confidently say among all my friends I’m one of the most computer savvieeeeee !
Thanks to Beng Kooi, Shin, Jean Ai and Justin R I know how to use MSN,facebook, twitter, bloging….just to name a few !
( pss…actually that’s all I know)
Of course the ultimate driving force behind me picking up all these computer/internet skill is my Guru.
I sincerely thank Rinpoche for pushing the “pyramids” of Kechara to be computer literate.
Thanks to Jean Ai, Shin, BK (she’s the one who suggested this lecture… no surprise right?) now the ‘older’ oops ‘matured’ generation can surf the cyberspace at ease!
Seriously, now I finally get a chance to TEACH my kids how to Twitt LOL
btw, someone started to FOLLOW me in Twitter.. WOW ^_~.
Oh my word! This is worth the miniscule global warming effects from the collection of laptops in one conference room. I totally agree – Jean Ai is a very intelligent girl and she puts a lot of effort into the work she is doing at e-Division and together with the rest of the e-div team, there is now no limit to where dharma can reach even where there are no telecommunication cables as the wireless technology goes global. The current generation of people must have practised fairly well in their past lives to receive this benefit of technology. So it seems, soon, we don’t really have to be born in the ‘first’ worlds to practice dharma.
I was very impressed with Jean Ai and Shin who conducted the IT class for us. They had prepared notes so that we could follow the steps easily. Really, it was very easy to follow and any fears we had at the beginning completely disappeared. Jean Ai spoke with confidence and was very patient throughout. So was Shin. I was admiring the two of them and thinking Kechara House is very lucky to have their services. I used to think that tweeting and having a facebook account was time consuming and would prevent me from doing my work efficiently. Imagine having to go through so many messages everyday. But I think this is a part we can control with time. The important thing is to change our mindset and be positive because it is to benefit others.
YEah BK!
Baby Jean Ai is really one clever girl that makes her Mummy RUby Khong proud. She is mature and love the Dharma and is passionate about her Dharma work and is very sincere. She speaks with both care and confidence and is really into wanting to make the Dharma grow!
Boy if we had many emanations of her, E-div, ladrang and all other departments of KH will grow, flourish and expand forever more! Way to go darling little sista! U have all it takes to make Dharma today trendy, stylish, informative, interesting, engaging and but of course yourself!
Dharma is now more and more individualistic with the help of HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche whom have been kindly teaching and grooming us with the visionary tagling of “Be yourself but Be Dharma too”!
cheers from ur egg mayo bro

Jean Ai’s ability to guide others through the murky world of technology is something I can testify to. Until I benefited from her knowledge, I thought Skype was an unfortunate disease to be found in exotic climes, but of course it turned out to be a communication program. Jean Ai kindly guided me through the whole horrid affair, and made me realise that, in the end, there was nothing to fear at all!
To echo your sentiments, Dear Rinpoche, she is a sweet and intelligent girl, and I get the feeling Jean Ai will further progress in Kechara to benefit many people in so many ways. She represents commitment to practice, to always push herself and assist others whenever she can, and she’s also a typical example of many people in Kechara who give so much of their time to the cause of others, and that constantly caring, loyal and committed attitude can only be admired, and something to which everyone should aspire.
Kind regards,
Sandy
Standing in front of a roomful of social media newbies was bright eyed and bushy tailed Khong Jean Ai teaching the likes of Anila, Datuk May, Yoke Fui and Margaret. Speaking with confidence, she guided her students through the intricacies of new media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Blogging and posting on a Forum.
All were gathered in the room for one purpose only – to learn how to use modern technologies to make kechara’s dreams a reality. If the sight of these people struggling to make sense of followers, friends, groups, fanpages, posts and links is not inspiring, then you must have a heart of stone. These are people who are going out of their comfort zone, to learn a new skill, all in the name of Dharma.
And the ‘baby’ of the e-Division sure done good!
