KMP moves to New Office!! Beautiful…
Kechara Media & Publications (KMP) is the publishing arm of Kechara. With 10 talented people in the team (including admin staff etc), they have published 25 books, 4 box sets (2 in Chinese, 2 in English) and 5 prayer books!!! Wow!
The wonderful team (photo; right) is led by Li Kim (center). With her leadership, KMP has progressed to greater heights Li Kim’s inner-drive, self-motivation and enthusiasm easily rubs off on others, and makes the KMP staff themselves push harder. Likim has a very generous and giving nature. She is also extremely caring…these are not nice words but for real.

Tsem Rinpoche
Kechara Media & Publications have just moved into their new office, which used to be the old Kechara House 1 Gompa, This was also the very first building that Kechara ever owned, which we got in 2004, so it’s a very special part of Kechara’s history. See how far we have come in just a few years!
KMP’s head of department, Liaison Li Kim, did an excellent job with the renovations and the office looks spectacular. She really planned it well, with the help of two other Kecharians Margaret and Thierry, to make very good use of the space and inject it with many beautiful design details. The office has turned out very spacious, beautiful and practical, to accommodate all the needs of the different people and work within KMP.
KMP actually started off with just a few desks pushed together and a couple of guys working together. Five years later, we have grown by leaps and bounds with a big, beautiful office of their own and a growing selection of amazing books that are literally changing lives everywhere. Now, under Li Kim’s strong leadership, KMP are starting to go regional – our books are already in Singapore and they are making plans to go into Australia!
Take a look at some photos of their office below. Every corner really reflects their energy – professional, sleek yet quite unconventional in places, which is a very Kecharian kind of energy! KMP should continue to grow and work hard to the point that people will recognise KMP as being a main force for planting many seeds of Dharma in the minds of people everywhere. Li Kim did a great job and may KMP have all the best luck in our new office!

LOVE IT SO BEAUTIFUL
We cannot believe we now have such a blessed place to work in, thanks to Rinpoche. Li Kim has made it a beautiful place to work in, with her love for her Guru and her vision and care for KMP.
We can only come this far with support not just from within KMP, but from everyone including our kind sponsors.
Renovating new KMP was a test for all of us in KMP, inspite of the occasional differences in opinion, arguments and frustrations we have along the way, we work hard to see it through and put new KMP together. Personally, I have learnt to be more tolerant and focus on the result rather than the problems encountered along the way.
Li Kim always stressed on harmony in our workplace and growth for KMP, and we at KMP must support her so that she can focus on her good work of bringing Rinpoche’s teachings to benefit more people out there, both locally and globally.
Last but not least, our thanks goes to Margaret who has painstakingly work with the contractors and suppliers to see it through!
I love this office. Congrats to the team at KMP. It is thoughtfully designed, really cater to the need of the staff. It feels very spacious and comfortable. Loves it! Congrats once again!
The new KMP office is amazing and much of it is due to Li Kim’s exceptional planning and Judy’s harassing of the contractor, Mr Tham and Margaret. Li Kim got all of our needs and transformed it into a neat little chart and then when over the various materials that are used to make KMP come alive.
Then Judy chased, cajoled, screamed, slapped, pulled hair and sometimes screamed at even Li Kim. Li Kim just scream back, “Hey! I am the boss here!” Judy, we love you! As a result, we got a really great office and her hair was becoming straighter by the day (Judy’s hair is usually permed in the perpetual Farah Fawcett style).
Hence, she is on holiday for the past 2 days to do her hair and to relax. She deserves the biggest CONGRATULATIONS!

When I was given a tour by Judy before you guys clean up the place, I remarked to her WOW!
Yes, KMP have come a long way since in those days it used to ‘squat’ in a rented house in PJ.

Congratulations KMP!! When i saw KMP’s new “home”, my jaw dropped. It must be the most stylish publication office in this region! So much care has been put in to creating it as it is reflected in its result. Kudos to the wonderful team who stuck through thick and thin when we started with only a table in a rented premises till what we have now. How wonderful! Way to go KMP!
Congratulations! To all in KMP on your moving to your new office. This is a bigger place where you can be permanently based as this will be your own building. Looking at the various photos it is very beautiful and tastefully decorated. You have moved many times already until the dynamic Li Kim came along and with her leadership and her effort to make KMP grow. Today you have your own building with a much bigger space consisting of two shoplots of office space. And also in the same environment again. Every KH department are all now in Sunway Mas Commercial centre.
