Lai Koon Meng enters… the Paranormal Zone!
Lai has just been hired as a freelance compositor/editor for our Paranormal blog section! Another person joins Kechara full time!!! Welcome aboard from the bottom of my heart!!
As most of my students and many of my blog readers will know, I am starting up a Paranormal division. We have finished renovating our Paranormal office, started filming Paranormal stories at different areas around KL, Penang, Kelantan and Thailand… and started formal interviews with those who have had paranormal experiences!
According to Miss Han (Head of Kechara InMotion) and Cynthia Lee (Tsem Ladrang‘s Art Director, and an ex-colleague of Lai), Lai Koon Meng is an experienced man in his field. He has been in this industry since 1995, and has kept up with the fast-paced and quick-changing technology. Cynthia describes him as an I.T. and technologically-savvy guy!
Lai does motion graphic work and will be working on my paranormal blog videos. He won’t only be editing… at times he will be shooting/filming, giving creative input for the projects – he will be part of all the video-based paranormal work. How exciting to have him on board!
According to Miss Han, Lai is naturally interested in the paranormal world. He likes to do his own research and watch videos to figure out whether they’re real or not. Unlike us, who may not have a skilled eye on graphic work, Lai does. He will be able to see if the paranormal activity on videos have been technically made up.
When the blog team asked him why he has such a keen interest in the paranormal world… it turns out that he has a few paranormal experiences of his own! He has seen them once in school when he was 10 years old, another in his parent’s house when he was 11 and another in Genting when he was 22.
Lai will be interviewed and filmed on his paranormal experiences. Stay tuned hehe…
This is a particularly exciting division as it is one of my personal interest…
The 1st of August was Lai’s first day at KIM. Miss Han has already given him plenty of footage that he can start working on. As an overall generous, friendly and easy going guy… I’m sure that Lai will have no problem fitting in into Kechara. We welcome you, Lai!
Do check out below the first video that Lai has been a part of!

Lai…although I do not know you well but I have heard a lot of good things about you! You are silently working through the days with no complains, just pure gratitude to our Lama for the wonderful experiences he gives us.
Thank you for being a good example by working hard in your department sincerely!
Met Mr Lai once at a restaurant nearby Kechara, I am curious asked him how his work at KH. Mr Lai smiled and says not bad. And he told me will involve more activities in Kechara in future. Mr Lai is not Kecharian, he came to Kechara because of work.
But I believed that what he shared with me, he may be will participate more in future caused Dharma is suit for everyone. It is doesn’t matter you are Buddhist or non-Buddhist. The philosophy of Dharma is make our live more better and be a good person then can benefit others. So simple and beautiful!
