Letter from President Ma of Taiwan
Today I woke to wonderful news. CEO Likim of our KMP dept sent a wonderful text message. It was very rewarding to the very hard working people of KMP department. I am happy for them and sincerely wish them more good news.
KMP had sent some of our wonderful recently published books namely by Paris and David to President Ma of Taiwan. His office in Taipei appreciated the books and forwarded the books to President Ma himself. They sent a THANK YOU letter and said they appreciated two upcoming Asian Writers sharing their spiritual journeys in these books. Wow!
Jean Ai said that she really appreciated the letter because obviously President Ma is beyond busy and yet he/his office can find the time to write such a letter. Wow! I agree with Jean Ai sharp sense of appreciation.
My sincere thanks to President Ma and his office. My love and compliments to KMP or Kechara Media and Publications department of Kechara.

That’s a wonferful news a break through for the team (KMP)who did such a marvelous job and much appreciated formost is the President of Taiwan.
Even though this post is long over due which i found ,yet i am happy for their work.Rejoice.Rinpoche’s Dharma books have also made their way to
JK Rowling and H.R.H Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand.I am sure more without knowing.May more and more people knows about Ringpoche and Kechara Forest Retreat and make their way to visit these Holy place.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing.
Cool !
this is good news and it is good to know that KMP is doing a good job! thank you Rinpoche for sharing this. and i hope kechara keeps growing well
Dear Rinpoche, how did KMP managed to get managed to get President MA’s office address? It must be very cool to have that. I feel so happy that even the President in Taiwan would read and love our books. And the President himself will tell his assistant to write a letter back to us just to thank us for sending him the books. That shows how much he care about Buddhism.
This is really great news and it is something that I rejoice for. It is amazing how President Ma still responds to letters as he is a very busy man. I guess that the days of the communism in the Chinese area has ended and now, Taiwan accepts religion! Wonderful!
KMP always produce very good book. The books that produce have high quality. Jamie and David, both are very good writer. Hope KMP will produce more books to benefits more reader.
Congratulations KMP! We must thank Rinpoche for this brilliant and wonderful idea to send our books to all these people around the world. For all the politicians, world leaders, celebrities around the world to see and accept our books is another milestone for KMP to go global. Through our books they will connect to Kechara and or Lama. This is a step to infiltrate to the globe and make ourselves know. We have to begin from somewhere.
I am confident that though Paris and David, they would be able to draw more people to Dharma and Kechara to continue the legacy of Kechara World Peace Centre.
Terima Kasih Rinpoche!
How wonderful!
That they would graciously accept Dharma books but I would think that being a Buddhist majority country themselves, it would be customary to accept Dharma related books and sincerely hope that the President and his family and counterparts would benefit immensely from those publications and in turn benefit others in recommending them to all in Taiwan and beyond.
Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!
I take that the idea here is more than simply advertising books or young asian writers, the idea is to spread the Dharma through it. The letter from a VVIP such as the President of Taiwan gives further credit to the quality of the writers, the quality of the publishing house, and the quality of the book contents.
Eventually, this would help for more people to get hold of the book and be propelled to read it. And it is my wish that many get inspired upon reading the biographies of these two prominent students of Rinpoche. I have read both books myself, and there are very inspiring accounts that show how one can embark on a spiritual journey without specifically having to change much of one’s lifestyle. In fact, the lifestyle is used to serve the Dharma, same lifestyle as seen from the outside, but different motivation.
My gratitude to President Ma.
This seriously shows what a ‘can do’ attitude can achieve. If we sit there with our mouths open, not willing to try, how will we ever succeed?
Speaking of JK Rowling, Rinpoche particularly loves to use her example because she was destitute and nearly broke, and still kept writing and writing. She really believed in her talent and her craft. It’s people who suffer for their art who always become great…and because they are willing to sacrifice everything for what they believe, we respect their determination. Of course they must also have talent too, but I think that people with talent who never push to let others see what they can offer, will never succeed.
Yes, more more more!!!
Rinpoche’s books have also made their way to
JK Rowling (http://www.kechara.com/publications/reviews/dharma-meets-wizardry/)
and
H.R.H Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand! (http://www.kechara.com/publications/reviews/letter-from-a-princess-angel/) amongst others.
How incredibly cool that KMP’s books are now sitting on the desks of politicians, world leaders, celebrities around the world. I rejoice that more people, including the movers and shakers of the world are able to connect with Rinpoche and his teachings, which are couched in incredibly modern and applicable language for the masses. I congratulate KMP for publishing these great books that strike my heart
World peace would be achievable and it starts with ourselves.
KMP, let’s go global!
I really like Rinpoche’s approach in getting the Dharma across. Tsem Tulku’s style is for people who normally wouldn’t get or be interested in Dharma, perhaps it’s culturally different, too stuffy, “weird Asian philosophy”, or simply too conventional.
Tsem Tulku’s modern fun approach is the right way to the future! I love all the Youtube videos, Twitter and free live streaming of Kechara events! Can we have moreeeeeeeeee…..
Thank you Tsem Tulku Rinpoche for sharing with us this exciting news. I really like your teachings and I have been watching your videos. I am sure President Ma would like your wisdom quotes very much.
The global leaders could benefit much from reading quotes that promotes care & kindness for others. This is a great way for Dharma to spread in a new direction- inspiring leaders that can make a huge difference in the world.
I hope Obama will pick up a copy of Rinpoche’s book!
Rinpoche your books can really transcend all religions, colors, and cultural differences, your books can really reach far and wide and spreading the message of humanity all over!
wow! Tsem Rinpoche’s books are really going global! Rinpoche’s book is not about politics, it is about human spirit. Even the President of Taiwan is accepting and reading Rinpoche’s book, it shows Buddhism is mainstream and spreading across nations, ethnicity and all!! I rejoice!
I think you’re relaying a wrong concept of Buddhism !!!
Thanks
Regards
This is really great news! Now, that’s worth rejoicing! Go, KMP, Go, Go, Go!
