New Blog Corner at Kechara House!
Yesterday, I received a message from one of Kechara’s full-time staff, Frederick Law. In his message, he shared that the blog corner at Kechara House (our gompa in the city), had recently undergone a new face lift!
3 years ago, Board of Director, Paul Yap, had set up a dedicated space at Kechara House for this blog. He placed a few laptops and a TV screen so that people can easily access and browse through the various Dharma materials in the comfort of the gompa.
The new face lift was led by Pastor Yek Yee and Frederick Law, who wanted to have a visual image of the Dorje Shugden statue in our gompa at Kechara Forest Retreat. As KFR had only recently been open to the public during the Dorje Shugden Open Day, many people in the city have not yet had the opportunity to have audience with the tallest Dorje Shugden statue in the world. They wanted to make it accessible for them.
After volunteering for 4 years, Frederick decided to join Kechara full-time earlier this month. He is now part of Customer Service at the Kechara House Front Desk. I would like to welcome Frederick to Kechara.
It’s wonderful to see creative changes being done around Kechara. It reflects how much people care about others… Being creative is an expression of helping others to understand something by various unconventional means.

Message from Frederick Law:
Dear Rinpoche,
Good evening Rinpoche, how are you Rinpoche? Hope Rinpoche is well.
Rinpoche, we have facelifted Kechara House blog corner with new wall poster of Rinpoche with Dorje Shugden, the project just completed at 8pm Tuesday night a while ago. The idea of face-lifting the blog corner come when Pastor Yek Yee and me is discussing how to promote KFR and also Medicine Buddha Hill, and the idea came to change the previous wallpaper with recent picture of Rinpoche and Dorje Shugden as the main focus for this Project. Pastor Yek Yee agrees and we research for photo at Rinpoche blog and shortlisted 2 photos that are suitable.
The reason for this project is to promote Rinpoche and Kechara Forest Retreat. As well aim to promote KFR world tallest Dorje Shugden and then introduce Dorje Shugden practice to new people. Nowadays which many people are into selfies, we hope to promote Rinpoche through this method and reach out to more people, it will become Social Media attraction and directly promoting Rinpoche, KFR and Dorje Shugden by utilizing the power of Social Media through photo and selfie.
Next we made appointment with CK Siah who is an artwork designer and one of the owners of 3 Elements Studio. We then discuss about our idea for the wallpaper and show CK Siah the photo of our choice, we pitch our idea to have a life size photo of Rinpoche and Dorje Shuden together, when Kecharian and visitor came and take photo, they will feel like taking photo with Rinpoche in real. CK Siah gave his idea how to make it stand out. We had a good discussion and have a good idea what we wanted. Then I proceeded to request high resolution photo we had chosen from Pastor Seng Piow, and then forwarded to CK Siah for designing.
The process took about 10 days to complete from discussion to art work design, removing the previous wall poster and frame until final completion. CK Siah is very cooperative; he will amend the design to the need and send the updated design to me and Pastor Yek Yee promptly for our approval. He came to inspect, measure the wall to make sure the final design is done perfectly.
The final outcome is amazing, the new poster with Rinpoche and Dorje Shugden liven up the blog corner. Right after the completion, the Puja Team, Kechara House, Albert, Becky, Pastor Niral, Judy Chen are so excited and took photo of the new poster of Rinpoche. Everyone commented that Rinpoche photo looks very real as if Rinpoche is there with us. Even Tat Ming could not resist taking selfie, and other Kecharian takes turn to take photo with Rinpoche. Even just minute after completion, it has drawn so many excitements. The atmosphere at Blog Corner is overwhelming. We hope with this new facelift will attract more people and public who come to visit Kechara and we can introduce them to Kechara Forest Retreat and Rinpoche teaching directly.
I also attached few photos of the completed blog corner photo and our Kecharian who are excited to take photo with Rinpoche on the spot.
I wish Rinpoche good health and long life, and may Rinpoche have a good rest.
End of my update.
Love and care,
Frederick LawCc Pastor Yek Yee

Good job to Frederick, Pastor Yek Yee and CK Siah in developing this poster and give a new face lift of the blog corner. I like the idea of getting Rinpoche life picture on the wallpaper.
It is really very lively. May more people can connect with Dorje Shugden, Rinpoche and KFR.
Yes, they did a very good job! The most touching part about this is the fact the team took the initiative to improve the blog corner because they wanted to find a new way to connect people with Rinpoche. Pastor Yek Yee and her team are always looking out for how to improve and deliver Dharma more effectively to many more people. When we are committed, initiatives and ideas like this will come naturally. So someone like Pastor Yek Yee is a very good person for us to get close with, take care and support because her mind is always turned in the direction of spreading Dharma 🙂
The blog is at the heart of Rinpoche’s and Kechara’s work that makes the dharma and spiritual articles available to the masses.
The blog corner is aptly placed to introduce people to Tsem Rinpoche’s blog.
