Paranormal meets Marketing… in our new office!
About a month ago, Beng Kooi (Liaison and Director of E-division) was scouting for a new shop-lot within the Sunwaymas area. And she was able to find a shop-lot on the ground floor, right next to Kechara Saraswati Arts (KSA)!
This new office will be the headquarters for our new Paranormal blog team and the Kechara marketing team! The paranormal team and marketing team will also be able to work closely with e-Division, which is just a few doors away!
The upcoming paranormal blog is going to be an extension of this blog… and will feature one of the topics I’m most interested in personally, which is the supernatural and unknown. My paranormal blog will showcase stories, videos, write-ups, pictures and many more interesting supernatural accounts. It will also include interviews of people who have had (or are still having! hehe) paranormal experiences. How exciting!!
The renovations for this office started May 5, 2011. Dato’ Ruby Khong (Liaison and President of Kechara Soup Kitchen) is overseeing the renovations and interior design for this lot. This isn’t her profession, but she has a real eye for detail and has excellent taste. KSK’s new office building is an example of that.
It’s very very exciting how fast Kechara is growing and expanding. There are many younger and more internet-savvy people who are joining… there is a great energy and synergy working with younger people. Some join because of Dharmic and spiritual reasons and some join simply because working in Kechara is fun!
Either way it’s okay… because the work that is being done is always, indirectly or directly, to benefit others.
Yes Kechara is expanding again….into another division to investigate, record and bring to the world interesting paranormal stories. More and more people are feeling less inhibited to speak about it and coming out into the open with their personal sometimes frightening personal experiences. It is a subject matter I have been interested in since very young….I am sure there are many of you out there like me….Well get ready for this new division in Kechara…starting soon….we will have fun with goose bumps…..Tsem Rinpoche

Very exciting! I look forward to starting the stories. Thank you
Will this site carry experiences of actual stories of ghosts and haunting. Never expect to see something on this topic on a Buddhism/ Lama’s blog. How exciting. When will it start?
This is really wonderful, the opening of another interesting dept. Who said being spiritual is always ‘boring’? Kechara proofed to be different.
By having a variety of depts, it gives everyone the option to choose what they like to do and go all the way in doing something meaningful besides eat, sleep and ‘wasting time’ on things that doesn’t benefit in the long run.
In Kechara we can be who we are, just add on some ‘spirituality’ to our lives.
Rinpoche is so kind to open up a paranormal department. M’sia has plenty of spirits n black magic issue (dunno why?) i read a case said a haunted luxury bungalow in Bukit Tinggi, building workers heard this bungalow is extream hunted. Those who go in to renonvate the bungalow would suffer from ilness, mental disorder, even die.
Very exciting! Cant wait for our new neighbour to move next door to us at Kechara Saraswati Arts. Fun to be together, but we do hope the “real ghost” next door dont come visit us la…Hahaha!
Yay! This is going to be exciting! Especially the spook team going on investigation. Many many people have had paranormal experienced, so it is good platform to interact with the “force” out there. It gives a better insight of the unexplained. This will be a very interesting division, and i think many young people will like this very much 🙂
welcome to the dark side.. may the force be with you… hehe
Thank you for opening up our minds and hearts to more possibilities…when they are open, more blessings can come in.
I believe this dept will help us to understand ghosts and ghouls better. The unknown becomes known. In the process, it will help us overcome our fears associated with the unknown. We transform fear and our encounters with them into compassion. This dept is going to be very exciting and will definitely help our prayers for welfare of all sentient beings more meaningful.
Where else can you find a religious organization so exciting, diversified and unconventional?
Should be really interesting. 🙂
I too have a tale to tell of working with a Lama in taking spirits from a house and away to the crossroads, but I’ll save it for a while. A Tibetan may understand the process, especially a Gelugpa. 😉
Beings we encounter in ways which are ‘paranormal’ are helped and blessed best of all when we maintain a mind of compassion.
Paranormal Activities, UFOs, Nessie, Big Foot, Monsters from the Deep, Goblins, Leprechauns, Dracula, Vampires, Witches, Voodoos, Zombies, Psychics, The Unexplained, Out of Body Experience, Twilight Zone, Return from the Dead….these are topics that quite a lot of people are interested in.
The new Paranormal and Marketing team will have their hands full. Some folks may even think this team’s work includes ghost busting!
I gonna be a big fan of this topics ^^
Very exciting – it’s always exciting even for people who are already working in Kechara, to see new offices coming up. It means more expansion, more people dedicating their hearts and minds to Dharma, and ultimately more benefit.
Who would’ve ever thought that a Dharma centre would have an office just managing paranormal experiences? And yet, this is just another of Rinpoche’s tremendous methods to reach out to people in various ways. From individuals’ interests in the paranormal – just like individuals’ interests in art, books, community work, food etc – people are introduced to the blessings of Dharma and the many profound teachings that can make such a tremendous difference to our lives.
So… bring on the ghosties, the UFOs and the mermaids!
The title “Tsem Rinpoche’s Paranormal” seems to be missing a noun. (“Tsem Rinpoche’s Paranormal Blog,” perhaps?)
Also, the phrase could be interpreted to mean “Tsem Rinpoche is paranormal” (i.e., the same joke as the X-Files episode, “Jose Chung’s From Outer Space,” in which “From Outer Space” was the name of Jose Chung’s book).
Will skeptical perspectives be represented? If so, then I have degrees in this stuff, and would happily volunteer to provide my rational counter-perspective.
