(A nice photo and text message I recieved and thought I’d share here. This group just finsihed a wonderful mini-short 5 day Setrap retreat in Kechara today… They did in total combined so many mantras, serkym and kawang {confessions}..I am so happy that we do many types of Dharma activities in Kechara consistently. )

Sadhu! Sadhu! Heartfelt congratulations from me, a humble practitioner from Singapore on the perfect completion of the retreat! Rejoice for you all! I hope I have the opportunity to join a retreat as such in future. 🙂
it has been a wonderful 3 session retreat to me and many members who participated. and i enjoyed volunteering and helping out during the whole retreat and the co-operation among the committee and the volunteer is exceptional, it was a new experience for me. i believe many has benefited greatly from this retreat, and i myself benefited it as well. Thank You Rinpoche for giving us this opportunity to do Setrap retreat to clear our obstacle and to clear Kechara obstacle to grow further. with folded hands.
thank you for organizing the Setrap retreat. It has been a really amazing retreat period (although i only attended 1 session due to time and resource constraints). The retreat is said to clear obstacles for the center, but in reality it helps the participants and organizers to bond and to help them clear their own obstacles. I would normally not go to Setrap Pujas but i would make an exception for the retreat as it was for the good of many but i realize that at the end of the day, i benefitted the most from it. You guys do make a very good team at organizing and making sure that everything is accounted for. Kudos for your heart work!
Thank you to Yoke Fui,Gim Lee for giving us the part as sub comm, by working together with all make us realize the harmony that we have to work with each other. Putting down our own ego and make us grow. All this experience is something that we couldn’t get the worldly world. Great retreat, though the kawang part is the hardest to achieve. Thank you to our guru, Tsem Tulku Rinpoche for arranging all the retreat for our grow too.

Gim Lee, Nice to see you still awake and reading the blog…TR
My heartfelt thanks to all the umzes, puja guides and the hardworking Retreat Sub Com team. You had make the 3 retreats a joy to all the participants.
I pray each of you had gained some meaningful experiences from this retreat.
With hands together, on behalf of everyone participated in the Retreat, I thank Rinpoche for giving us this powerful practice so as to ensure our spiritual path smooth and swift.
this is my first retreat and i feel something in me had changed. i can feel that i am more relax and not so tense anymore.
The third Setrap Obstacle Clearing Retreat came to a close today. My first thought is that we had a wonderful team of people to thank for ensuring that every one of the retreats went smoothly every day. They were there early each day to ensure that the altar and offerings as well as the whole gompa were arranged way before the puja started.
The umzes too did an excellent job. They were so determined that targets for Kawang, Serkym and Mantras were met.
So to these very responsible and diligent people, I would like to say a big thank you. The retreat’s success can be placed squarely on your shoulders.
