Gifts that warmed my heart
From Allan, Friends and Family
Dear Allan, Thank you and your friends for your gifts. Whenever I recieve gifts, I offer them up to the Buddhas. I request the sacred Buddhas to bless every person that has offered something. Although I am not worthy of the gifts, by offering them to the Buddhas before use, I hope to make an affinity for the generous gift giver. I have you in my prayers, Tsem Rinpoche
From Jutika and Pavara
Thank you little Jutika and Pavara for your words, card and gifts. You are exceptional children I have observed. How sweet of you, Tsem Rinpoche
From Priya and Kamala
What a nice gift of the Buddha painting from Little cute Priya and elegant Ms Kamala. I thank them for their gracious gifts. I have offered my prayers for them, and I send my warm regards to Ms Kamala and little Priya. Here in the picture Little Priya is holding a Tara statue I presented her in return. I want her to be blessed, loved and protected by Mother Buddha Tara…. Tsem Rinpoche

It is very encouraging to note that its is simple things done with utmost sincerity that touches Rinpoche. I like how Allan lists down all the people who contributed to the offerings as it shows the effort he put into telling his friends about Rinpoche and Kechara and his readiness to share in the blessings.
Thank you for sharing this post Rinpoche.
Over the week-end, Rinpoche’s ladrang was short-handed. Many students offered food so that the kitchen staff need not worry about getting Rinpoche’s meals.
Varieties of food – Korean, Indian, Italian — the kitchen became a melting pot of culinary fares.
Making offerings to our Lama is such a privilege and honour because it benefits so many. Our Lama does not need the offerings but we need to make offerings because we need the merits in order to progress on our spiritual path. Thank you Rinpoche for allowing us such a wonderful way to accumulate merits.
Making offerings to our Guru is an excellent way of creating merits, show our gratitude to the one who has given his life for us and will guide us till we are free of sufferings!
For friends and students who are geographically far away, you can also make offerings. Do not let your geographical location steal your opportunity to make merits. One of the ways I can suggest is to make a purchase via Kechara.com/eshop. There are many items in there to choose from.
Just drop us an email at eshop@kechara.com that the purchase is an offering to H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and we will make the offerings for you on your behalf.
all the best in your spiritual journey

Jutika and Pavara are two very intelligent sons of Mr Lam and Choi Sheem, who are also very active KH members. Jutika is 9 years old ands Pavara is 8 years old. Jutika is quiet and Pavara is hyperactive and runs around instead of walking and thus breaks his glasses a few times already. One day Rinpoche gave them and their family some gifts. To say thank you the two brothers on their own wrote thank you cards to Rinpoche to say thank you for the gifts received. Rinpoche always feel warmed by this sort of gesture. It is not how much you can give but with how much sincerity. There was a day I bought a laptop. And was trying to master how to use it. There was some problem. It was Jutika who taught me to solve and rectify the problem.
Such sweet and thoughtful gifts!
Thank you for this wonderful story!
so cute Rinpoche.
There are those wonderful depictions of Baby Krishna. All chubby, blue, with curly hair happy and cuddly yet divine. See little Priya, she looks just like sacred Baby Krishna. Priya looks like a little cute doll also. All my prayers to you Priya and elegant Ms Kamala. Tsem Tulku

Allan, I am glad you can move on. Put your energy into your work. Make something of yourself in KMP. You are with a great group of supportive loving people. They are the best ppl you have ever worked with in your life. Think about it. They have supported you so much and I know you will support them, love them, keep them company and love them. I wish you the best Allan.
Dearest Rinpoche, I truly and grateful and so happy that I am surrounded by a whole group of great family members. They truly are amazing and I do not think of them as my colleague, because I always felt that I belong with a family. Though there are hiccups here and there, and sometimes I do throw some bf, but they really can understand and forgive and forget. Where else we can find such great people? I will do my best to give them my support and also will do my best to change my attitude so that it will benefit the whole flow of KMP and also lessen the hiccups that I caused. For this I would love to say “I truly love you guys, “Li Kim, Sharon, Susan, David, Jamie, Yek Yee, Lanse, Fang, Judy, Deborah and June”. You guys are smashing to be with! 😀 Last of all, thank you Rinpoche for your guidance and care eventhough Rinpoche is fully occupied with a lot of matters, Rinpoche still extend the time to extend the words of support to me. I am truly truly very touched and grateful to Rinpoche. With much love and with folded hands, Allan.
Allan, I feel that although you are in pain, and sometimes down, you are able to move on. To look at things from a different perspective. That what cannot be just cannot be and accept. Ppl get somewhere in the world when they focus out and onto others. Wallowing in pain for extended periods destroys our potentials to more. Much care to you Allan, from Tsem Tulku
Dearest Rinpoche, I will take all the pain and downs as part of my purification because I don’t find a reason to blame it on someone or anyone which I sometimes do that, but I will erase that thought after some silly thoughts and think it in a more proper way. Whenever I think of negative things, I will find myself in much anger and hatred and after a very short while I will think in a more rational way and will feel at peace and will forget my anger. Though I am still far far far away from the change, but I will do my best so that I won’t drown others with my own selfish thoughts. Thank you so much Rinpoche, Rinpoche’s kind words and advise are always in my mind so that I will change my perspective and point of view so I will be more positive and get over me and myself and think of others. With much love, Allan.
Dear Allan of KMP, Thank you for your gifts and hard work. Many people like you. Even though you go through personal ‘disasters’ and problems, I notice you can still smile at others and even give gifts to others. You do need some consoling and kind words when you are down, but you don’t drain people with you hanging on to your problems for long periods of time. I guess when ppl are very self absorbed, they only think of themselves and want everyone to ‘solve’ their problems non-stop.
Dearest Rinpoche, as we are in Dharma, I will always remember that no matter what problem or disaster we are still in, we still need to brave through it and smile so that we do not burden others with our problem. I will always try to get out of the potholes as fast as I can so that I will move on. Thank you very much for the advises that Rinpoche gave all this while. With much love, Allan
